Historic hotel in a wonderful neighborhood for walking and dinner street cafes. Good variety breakfast buffet and excellent service at front desk and in the dining areas. On the down side, the beds could not be any harder and since there was no air conditioning, opening the windows for some cooler air was a problem with the very loud street traffic most of the night and early mornings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ambasciatori. The service was superb and the front desk was always willing help with everything we needed. Location was great, right next door to the Hard Rock Cafe and other local restaurants.

This is a lovely, relatively small, Italian style hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet and Tte staff is very friendly and helppful. The location on the Via Veneto, next to far more expensive hotels, could not be better. For the price, it cannot be beaten.

The room was toosmall and the bed too hard. Also alittle too far away from everything. However breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful with a problem with maintenance in room.

Our room was very small and did not include a chair. This was not the room we paid for (a single vs. a double) and only realized it when we got home. The tub/shower had no shower curtain/door and the floor was soaked after each shower use. Some of the staff were haughty, while others were wonderful, polite, and helpful.

Great place to be. Great location and good price. Staff generally helpful. Room small but to be expected in Rome. Wonderful breakfast. Nice breakfast room, and very good choices of food.

Great team of staff, all very nice and helpful, always with a smile ( Not a common sight with italian customer service industries.) A pity the room I had was very run down and in desperate need for an update.

Furniture in room could be more comfortable. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Location was perfect.

Overall, we were satisfied. Everyone was friendly, especially the Concierge and the Breakfast Room staff. During the day, the A/C did not cool the room as well as in the evening. One day, we were out in the morning and returned at 2:00pm only to find out that our room still had not been made up. We assumed the hotel was short-handed since we did see the maid cleaning other rooms. Location was OK even though it was a longer walk to the sights than at other hotels I stayed at in the past. The room could have used a painting.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Although it was rated a 5 star hotel, I would only give it a 3 star. When you walk into the lobby it is grand, however, the room was extremely disappointing. The carpet was saturated with water due to the leaking air conditioner. The toilet in one of the bathrooms would not flush properly. The room smelled musty. Not at all what I expected by booking a 5 star. I must mentioned however, the staff were extremely helpful and professional which fit the 5 star category.

This hotel is excellent, situated in the nicer part of Rome right across from the American embassy but within easy walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, and other sights. The rooms are big and comfortable, the amenities nice, and breakfast each morning is FANTASTIC. The staff are extremely helpful and always available. Highly recommend.

Very spacious room with view to Via Venetto. Our bed sheets were made out of linen, the baby's sheets were hand embroidered, the bathroom was super spacious, the concierge gave us recommendations to great restaurants, very friendly staff. The restaurant across the street is fantastic.

Hard to believe this hotel has been renovated any time recently. Lovely building but furniture falling to bits. No padding in chairs, table unstable, no wifi in room...and a musty smell. The large bathroom was the highlight plus the good location and buffet breakfast.

the ambasciatori is a perfect hotel for your stay in Roma. Perfect location, within walking distance to the center of the city, a delicious breakfast, and a gracious and helpful staff. we would absolutely stay again on another visit to Roma. The hotel is elegant without being stuffy, our room was very spacious and classic, and the area is removed from the noise of the city center. Most enjoyable stay!

Room was large, but very run down and musty. Bathroom was large but shower head didn't work, drain clogged and ants around sink. tiny tv propped on stand in corner and air conditioning didn't work well.

Only 10 min walk from subway line, only 1 Euro to ride anywhere on Red/Blue line, walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. Many places to eat in area. Staff helpful and breakfast included was pretty good. We had two single beds and room overlooked the back area(no view). The room was spacious but the floors showed the age of hotel(wooden and creaky). Place to wash clothes for extended stay about 15 min walk. Grocery store about 10 min walk. Safe area.

What a gorgeous hotel. A spectacular neighborhood, one I was happy to walk around in, and just enjoy Rome. The staff were AMAZINGLY helpful when we had an issue with our rental car, they insisted on calling the rental agency for us, since we didn't speak Italian as well as they did. They worked it all out for us! If I could rate their service as more than a 5, I would!! The Breakfast Buffet was AMAZING, I came away full and happy. I wished we could have stayed longer, but we were on our way somewhere else, even though I was tempted to stay there the whole trip!!

This hotel was located in upscale neighborhood of La Dolce Vita. It was lovely and the staff was helpful. Walking distance from some beautiful sights...Villa Borghese Gardens, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain. Enjoyed our stay.

Spiderwebs in our room and tiny, uncomfortable beds. Breakfast was NOT worth the price. Location is decent though. Walkable to Spanish steps and good (expensive) shopping.

Very nice, clean hotel, big bed, big bathroom, good breakfast(busy), friendly, helpful staff. Good location for the city centre sights, close to Barberini Metro stop. Very expensive bar, didn't try the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Hotel situated in one of the best areas of Rome. The reception and public rooms are all very impressive. WiFi available in public areas but not in room. We stayed in superior room which was very large although with minimal furniture. We have the same complaint about the lighting as we have with many hotels - very difficult to get enough light to read comfortably. We stayed in February and at night the room was coolish even though there was a heating system. The breakfast was not upto 5 star standards. We had booked on a B&B basis but if you were paying for breakfast separately it was extortionate for what was on offer.

We had just stayed at the Westin Excelsior across the street and there was no comparison.

Oppholdet var fantastisk. God frokost, flott service, hjelpsomme personell, nærhet til mange severdigheter, metro og buss. Imidlertid ikke samsvar med lovnader fra Hotels.com hva galdt størrelse på rom, innhold på rom, bad, utsikt, trening' mm

Hyggelig hotell i grei avstand til severdighetene. Rent og pent og godt utvalg på frokostbordet.

Hotelli,johon voisi mennä koska tahansa uudestaan. Palvelu oli todella hyvää,hotellin consigliere järjesti ihan kaiken,mitä toivoin. Futislipuista Vatikaaniin ja kaikkea siltä väliltä :)

Hotellets beliggenhet er helt perfekt! Litt vekk fra støyen, men likevel rett rundt svingen på Via Del Corso med butikker, og severdigheter på en perlesnor. Metero + turistbuss på Piazza Barberini gjør at kollektivtrafikken (som også er veldig grei å forstå!) er lett tilgjengelig :) Fine rom, men litt slitt. Helt greit renhold og supergos frokost!!

Hotellet ligger bra nära till den hetaste shoppingen vid Spanska trappan. Mini sviten vi hade var snarare en normal svit med stort separat vardagsrum med soffgrupp, fotöljer och ett skrivbord. Fritt höghastighets bredband. Något eftersatt underhåll. Dålig städning i badrummet. Frukost var ok men litet utbud. Trevlig och tjänstvillig personal. Vi skulle nog kunna tänka oss att ta in på samma ställe igen.

Bra läge, Stora rum bra underhållna men detaljer som sänker betyget litet som att luftkonditioneringen inte fungerade, vilket man inte var villig att göra något åt. Att vattnet knappt kunde rinna ur hadfatet eller badkaret, inget stort problem men inte helt OK Måttligt uppmärksam personal/concierge. Bra frukost, rikligt, fräscht och vänligt i matsalen.

便利な場所にあり　治安も良しく安心して歩けました。　　　　ベネット通にあり　近くにシーフードのレがストランが　　　　ありました。部屋は広くバルコニーがあり綺麗　でした。朝食はいまいち　野菜がなかったです。

Værelset vendte ud til Via Liguria, og der var ekstremt megen støj herfra hele natten. Der var ikke aircon og det var nødvendigt med åbent vindue. Bruseforholdene var utidssvarende. Værelset var spartansk og trængte til maling. F. eks. var det kun 4 bøjler i klædeskabet. Elevator kapaciteten var meget begrænset. Internet adgangen var ude af drift 2 ud af 3 dage.

Me and my wife stayed here for a couple of days. Definately not 5 star. Perhaps 3-4. Sleeping in bed was like sleeping on the floor. Worst experience ever. We could'nt sleep at night. First morning we were served cold coffee, probably a mug collected from a neighbour table. The staff was very strict on breakfast time. No tolerance here. Service was ok, but no one could talk english. The room was worn, but bathroom ok. Though the location is great, we can't recommend this hotel, primarily due to terrible beds. We were tired all day due to lack of sleep.

Das Ambasciatori Palace Hotel in Via V. Veneto 62 ist sehr zentral gelegen und somit auch alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss gut erreichbar (Bereitschaft zu laufen muss vorhanden sein).

Hotellet lå ca 5 min gange fra Spansketrappen. Hovedgaten med alt mulig av butikker var i umiddelbar nærhet. Like ved hotellet lå et av stoppene på sightseeing bussene... Kjekt. Roma er en utrolig fin by med mye god mat og drikke i byens mange små resturanter

Mycket bra läge - gångavstånd till flera sevärdheter, restauranger, butiker mm Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal Fräscht och fint Frukostbordet var mycket över förväntan

Hotel gostoso e muito bem localisado.

構造、インテリア共にかつては立派であった事でしょう。今となってはメンテナンスの行き届いていない旧式のホテルとしか言いようがありません。 ５つ星といえども安価なので相応とも言えますが、これなら４つ星で設備等のしっかりしたホテルの方が快適ではないかと思えます。

nice hotel,but a bit expensive for what it offers. If you like walking it's o.k, cause it is not very close to the historic center,but still in a walking distance. Very clean room, spacious enough,unfortunatelly the view was disappointing, not in front (via veneto). breakfast nice,not a lot of variety and when something was finished they didnt replace it fast enough.
