Warwick New York Hotel - نيويورك

بشكل عام كانت الغرفة جيدة، ولكنها كانت تحتاج إلى مرآه كاملة، لقد كنت برفقة زوجي وابنتي، وكنت أضطر للإنتظار حتى يصبح الحمام فارغا،كما أضطرت إبنتي إلى الجلوس على الأرض كي تتمكن من استخدام مرآة كانت بخزانة التليفزيون، ولقد تأخرنا عن موعد وجبة العشاء. أما الخدمة في المطعم وقت تقديم وجبة الإفطار كانت سيئة للغاية.

كان طاقم العمل رائع وكذلك كانت الخدمات بالفندق، فلقد حصلت على ترقية مجانية لغرفتي إلى جناح بدون دفع رسوم إضافية، والغرف كانت نظيفة تماما، وطاقم العمل كان متعاونا، كما كان الموقع مناسبا أيضا.

لقد أقمت أنا وصديقاتي في فندق Warwick أثناء قضائنا لعطلة طويلة في نهاية الأسبوع، ولقد شعرنا بمنتهى الرضا عن هذا الفندق، ولم تكن لدينا أية شكاوى وسوف نقيم هناك مرة أخرى بكل تأكيد، ولقد أقمنا في غرفتين كل منهما غرفة مزدوجة، وتطل كل منهما على منظر داخلي بالفندق ( حيث تطلان مباشرة على حائط) ولكننا لم نبال بذلك إذ أن الغرف الداخلية كانت هادئة للغاية، حتى مع الشعور بتغيير المكان ( والذي سببه السفر من أوربا بالطائرة)، فقد كنا نغط في النوم كالأطفال :-)، أما الغرفة فكانت واسعة، ونظيفة للغاية، كما كانت الأسرة مريحة جدا، وأروع ما في الغرفة أن بها لحاف بطبقتين ومحشو بالريش، وهو ما قد أعجبني حيث أنني أتيت من النرويج التي يتسم جوها بالبرودة الشديدة، أما الوسائد بالفراش فكانت جميلة أيضا (ولكنها كانت كبيرة نوعا ما بالنسبة لي)، ولكن إن لم تعجبك هذه الوسائد يمكنك أن تطلب وسادة أخرى مريحة أكثر أو أقل حجما. وفي كل يوم كنا نحصل على 15 دقيقة مجانية لاستخدام شبكة الإنترنت بردهة الفندق، كما أن إذن الدخول يتم طبعه بدون رسوم، ولم أتناول أي أطعمة داخل المطاعم، لذا فلا يمكنني التعليق بشأنها ولكن يبدو لي أنها جيدة، وأخيرا وليس آخرا- أن طاقم العمل كان يتسم بالذوق واللطف، وكان الموقع مثاليا للغاية!!!، فهو قريب من مناطق التسوق، والمعالم السياحية، والمطاعم، وسنترال بارك، والمترو، ببساطة كل شىء. وأستطيع أن أوصي بهذا الفندق بكل تأكيد.

كان الحمام قذرا للغاية، كما كانت هناك عصابة قديمة للشعر ملقاه في بانيو الإستحمام، بالإضافة إلى وجود خصلات طويلة من الشعر ملقاه في حوض الوجه، ولقد لقيت معاملة حسنة من طاقم العمل، ولكنني رأيتهم أثناء عملهم مع النزلاء الأخرين وكانوا يتعاملون معهم بصورة عدوانية للغاية، أما خدمة الغرف فكانت ممتازة. إن الفندق يظهر بمظهر رث- أظن أنه قد حان الوقت لتجديده.

ذلك هو تعليقي: "الموقع ثم الموقع ثم الموقع"، وفندق Warick كان موقعه مركزيا بالنسبة لما كنا نريد رؤيته أو عمله، كما أن الفندق نفسه يعتبر مكان مثالي للإقامة، وكذلك كانت غرفتنا مريحة للغاية، حيث كانت منسقة بعناية ونظيفة، كذلك فكانت تبدو من منظرها أنها ممتعة للإقامة. وبلا شك فإنه من أهم المزايا التي يتميز بها الفندق أن طاقم العمل كان رائعا، وهذا بدايةً من حارس الفندق إلى موظفي الإستقبال والعاملين بالسويتش. سوف يسرنا أن نعود إلى هناك لقضاء إقامة أخرى.

Although the room has a window, no lite ever gets in....

The staff was very attentive, the room exceptionally clean, spacious and the location couldn't be better.

Great Location. Close to museums, Central Park and Theatre District. Very professional staff.

The hotel itself was excellent, lovely room, good size, clean and excellent service. Concierge more than helpful. Perfect location in Manhattan very near central park. Being New York it was expensive but we would have had to pay out a lot more per night to get a room with daylight. Other skyscrapers were built so close that two sides of the hotel made the rooms virtually dark in the daylight. Such a pity as that was the only drawback.

Very satifactory. I arrived a little after 9 in the morning and they were able to put me in a room immediately. A very pleasant surprise. No complaints at all.

Hotel was great, except room was a bit dry.

Great location, classic charm

We stayed in a delux room at the Warwick. The room was very spacious with a king bed and views out to 6th ave- exactly what we had wanted and were not dissapointed in any way with the cleanliness or comfort of the room. We were on the 4th floor so heard some car horns but the general noise was not too bad. The hotel it's self has beautiful historic aesthetic, the location to sights and subway was awesome and the staff were lovely and let us compare a couple of available room types when we got there and let us chose which we would prefer. The only negative was the lack of free wifi in the hotel, if we had budgeted in the $10-17 extra a night to the overall cost it might not have seemed like such a daily inconvenience.

As always, the Warwick is superb. The only thing about the hotel that I wish were different: the kitchen for Randolph's closes at 11:00 P.M. and since we usually have dinner after seeing a Broadway show or the opera, when the performance runs late we can't have dinner at Randolph's. I wish the kitchen would stay open till 12:00 midnight.

The location of this mid-town hotel is great. The service however is tired, lazy or arrogant. On checking in the receptionist looked up only once from her computer and talked to me while staring at her screen during the whole check in process, to the ectent that I had to ask her if she was directing her questions at me or talking to someone else. Not the end of the world but not a great start. When I got to my room I had been given twin beds albeit I was on my own and haf requested a king. I was given another room with a king bed, the view wad a brick wall 6 feet from my window making the room very dark.The temperature of the water from the shower ran cold or hot without touching the controls.i had to ask three times to replenishe d the bottled water in the mini bar. The room was clean. I will not stay in this hotel again, there are cheaper better hotels in the area.

We had to switch rooms 3 times. First time for room with a bath, then AC out in room and next room was a downgrade to a worse room so they moved us to another. The manager was very nice and accommodating but it was a circus altogether . They do not have AC in the hallways so it is like a sauna until you enter your room. Great location and decor is supposedly new but it seems a little on the cheap side

I was lucky to get a great deal, I think the location is a great plus for the hotel. The only inconvenience was the use of only one elevator out of three during the busiest time ( Sunday morning). Waiting time was 10-15 minutes.I hope the management will resolve the problem, will stay there again.

Perfect location near Central Park, MoMA, Met, theatre,Times Square, restaurant row and subway to everything else. Staff very attentive and price point good for quality hotel. Only slight negative is bathroom small, in need of storage shelves, but room was large for NYC standards.

Great location....helpful and friendly staff.....lovely rooms....very clean and nicely appointed....4 elevators but they were on the small side so sometimes people with luggage had to wait for the next one....lots of eating choices neaby from take-out to fine dining....limited menu in the hotel bar and dining room but not a problem since there were many choices outside and nearby...close to Broadway shows yet just 2 blocks from Central Park.

This hotel was very welcoming and accommodating in every way....service was friendly and excellent. The dining room could perhaps use a more varied menu but there are many alternative eating locations of excellence within a few feet of the hotel so this was not really an issue.

Always a great place to stay -- perfect location, great staff, beautiful rooms.

The Warwick was a very nice hotel, close to moma, theaters, times square, rockefeller center etc. Also two subway stations very close. Only drawback was that our room was on the third floor on the sixth avenue side, so there were some noise from the street.

Great hotel, location excellent. Little disappointing that the fab bar & restaurant downstairs were SO expensive!

Very good location in a central, busy and safe area. Short walk to subway, Central Park, Times Square and Broadway. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Our room on the 4th floor was great. We had no meals in the hotel, but there is a good selection and variety of restaurants, delis etc. within a few minutes walk. Very satisfied and can recommend to everyone.

I loved the hotel and it's style and history. I tend to ike the older, European-style hotels. However, the neighborhood, in the past 15 yrs, has become overwhelming with the blocks of square, high steel and glass buildings they have constructed between 6th and 8th Avenues. I found this oppressive, compared to the past. My other remark was the costliness of room service with add-ons. A regular pot of coffee and cereal came to 27 dollars! Also, WiFi in the room was charged $10/day and the business room had charges. Phoning from the room, even to 800 numbers, all costly.

We had a small maintenance problem which was quickly rectified. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

The Warwick provides rare intimacy and outstanding quality for a Midtown hotel. It's a wonderful alternative to the larger chains in the area, and its historic character stands in further contrast to the corporate and banal. My corner room was enormous by NYC standards, modern yet full of personality, and extremely comfortable. Reception desk staff were attentive and friendly. A very positive experience from top to bottom.

i went and took my mother away for a mini break feb 2013 for 5 nights. having never stayed here i went on reviews and i wasnt disappointed. Everything about the hotel was lovely from the location to the bar and espeically the cleanliness of the rooms were kept to a high standard. WE did changes rooms twice as the first 2 were either too small or had an air conditioning unit outside the window!! room 508

We recently stayed at the Warwick. I loved to learn about the history of the hotel.... The location was excellent. Room was clean. Bathroom was small. Concierge very helpful. Doormen were not helpful with bags when we arrived but very helpful as we left. Awesome hotel for price and location! I would stat there again.

This is my third time staying at the Warwick in the past 10 years, and it did not disappoint. The room is large and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wireless works well. The bar is really pleasant, too. My one complaint is Murals 54, which serves breakfast and lunch. The food is okay, but the prices are outrageously expensive. This is the only reason I am not giving the Warwick five stars.

We wanted to be near our theatre, favorite restaurants and enjoy a classic hotel. We also didn't want to break the bank---a good hotel at a good price. Things just feel into place, we got to the Warwick a little after noon and they were able to give us our room early. We even had a view of MOMA's roof gardens. Everyone was very helpful. New York Times in the morning and an excellent breakfast in their smaller restaurant. Doorman got us our cabs and answered any questions we had. Even the guests seemed very friendly. We will certainly stay here again. Our only disappointment was their lack of a PBS station on our TV---we thought we'd be able to catch the last 20 minutes of Downton Abby.

The room decor needed to be updated and revamped. It had a 1950's feel.

Exceptional location and service. Did not eat in restaurant but did use valet parking. Only negative was small bathroom. Minor issue..overall excellent stay.

Our stay was very pleasant. The Hotel staff was very courteous, knowledgeable and willing to help. The location was fantastic. The only drawback was that our tub was clogged and never fixed. Showers were taken in two to three inches of dirty soapy water. Nevertheless, we will stay at the Warwick whenever possible.

This is always our "go to" hotel while staying in NYC. We love Randolph's lounge -a great place to relax. It is a classy boutique style hotel. Location is perfect to St Pat’s, Rockefeller Center, Times Square and shopping. Parking is convenient right next to hotel.

Very enjoyable

I was very impressed with the Warwick. My room was surprisingly large and newly decorated. The location was perfect as I was attending a conference across the street.
