Novotel Bristol Centre - بريستول

We arrived exhausted very late on a Sunday night and were greeted by a most pleasant person at the front desk. We were only there very briefly, but have only good things to say

This hotel was close to thhe city centre and train station ut far enough to have the peice around you .had a really enjoyable stay there everything was on point , i have very high standards and it meet all my needs. Would recommend it and would definetily stay there again

Good sized room with double bed and sofa bed, 10 mins to centre of Bristol, close to train station, clean, friendly staff. I prefer the Bristol Hotel but this was cheaper so no complaints.

Room was too warm and the a/c was not effective when the windows were closed. Uncomfortable night for our baby. As our room was located in the front of the hotel there would be noise from the street when the windows were opened. The mattress in the cot bed was not flat (same for all three the hotel had). You had to pay for wi-fi (all hotels should give free in-room wi-fi with usage limits for casual web browsing) We did mention about the warm room at check out and the receptionist kindly gave us free parking for the night. It is a nice hotel but would probably give it a miss next time.

Booked through hotels.com and got an excellent price. Good location, walking distance to city centre, shops and waterfront. Staff polite and friendly. Used the gym and steam room which was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely.

The rooms are great and cosy, but they will charge you for almost everything.

I really enjoyed staying here. I got a good rate with hotels.com and from time of being greeted, to being thanked and wished goodbye I felt looked after and that I was staying in style and comfort. Food in the restaurant was OK but nothing special. But for breakfast they had an offer (half price) which I was able to get via a voucher at reception. The breakfast was superb. There is a Tesco Local a few minutes down the road which offers a more economical range of food and drinks which may stop you opening the mini-bar :-)

had a great stay here for business and loved it (and the price) so much I stayed on for another night to visit.

We have never stayed at a Novatel before but was very pleasantly surprised. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we experienced a warm welcome so will definitely be returning!

We stayed for 2 nights, very pleasant hotel with very helpful staff. One of the best buffet breakfasts I have ever had!! Would recommend to anyone

A great hotel but a little out of town, had to get a taxi that cost £8 each way

Room clean and smart, but sofa bed and bedding not very comfortable. Coffee and tea not replaced as used. Reception staff very helpful indeed.

Nice Hotel, very impressed especially with the price we paid for one night. Only down side, 2 business vans blocked our car in in the car park and we couldn't get out. I don't feel the hotel staff did enough to find out who the vans belonged to and request they be moved but eventually got sorted. I'd recomend this hotel.

The hotel was really nice. We stayed there for two days and it was in the perfect location walking distance from train station and centre of town. Food was good and hotel was very nice. I'd recommend it to anyone. Definitely worth the price i paid.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It was all that we had wanted - convenient to the shopping centre and a very comfortable place to stay. The bedroom was spacious, nicely furnished and with extra seating - so good not to have to sit on the bed to read/watch t.v. The bathroom was also very clean and modern. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We would be happy to return and would recommend it to friends.

Ideal for a city break. within walking distance of shops and bars. Friendly and polite staff. Would stay again. Thank you.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely stay again. Also, if you are travelling by train it is really close to Temple Meads station.

A comfortable business hotel in the middle of the city. On the inner ring road, but good double glazing minimises traffic noise. Friendly and efficient staff.

The hotel is located 0.5 miles from city center, which makes it ideal for a comfortable stay in Bristol. Good customer service and breakfast. Lobby interiors seem a bit dated, and can be improved.

Very close to Station. Usual Novotel style; good buffet breakfast. comfortable room. Think there is a health centre but didnt use it.

Quite a pleasant surprise as the price was superb via Hotels.com plus we have stayed in some Novotels that were not too good, but, this one in Bristol is excellent, nice big room with sofa and very large bed, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Although its city centre it is actually in a pretty quiet road and caused no problems at all, for those that moan about the £10 parking costs just do what we did, there are parking bays over the road that are free overnight, just get up at 8am and stick a 50p ticket on it and it gets you through breakfast til you are ready to leave, great hotel, great rooms, great price.

great hotel good location,only problem was tv was old analogue signal no access to teletext etc.broadband and movie package was expensive £13.95 24hrs

Great service, they worked with us to get lost luggage delivered and were very helpful. As with most hotels in the city center meals at the hotel are overpriced, but there are so many great cafes within walking distance I don't know why anyone would eat at the hotel. I'd recommend, but look for the speacial rates.

Nice hotel, however our room was next to the fire doors at night each time a guest passed by they closed with an almighty thud that kept us awake half the night. The hotel could have easily rectified this by fitting door closers.

My friend and I stayed at the Novotel on Victoria Street Bristol for 2 nights whilst visiting Bristol. The hotel was comfortable clean and good value for money, it is easy accesible to the centre. I would certainly stay again.

Reasonably convenient location for where I was working. Parking was expensive and it wasn't that obvious you needed to pay. This bumped up the original good price. Its a bit of a walk into Bristol but not too far. Overall OK.

Not a bad place to stay - the room was a little small for 3, but on the hole not bad. The Xbox in the foyer kept our son happy! Buffee breakfast was nice but a bit pricey! I suppose that is partmofnthe 4 star experience.

Stayed here to visit Bath which was just 15 mins up the road. We took our cocker Spaniel and two kids and all stayed in one room The put up bed ws ideal and large enough for the two children (11 and 13 years). Dog made most welcoe and we ate Dinner in the Bar/Breafast in the bar area in which the dog was allowed. Car Parking Ten pound a night and dog charged at £8/night. Definitely would go back again as overall was good value. (Kids got free breakfast)

An excellent room and hotel, very clean and efficient. Only issue really was the expensive car parking fee. This fee should be clearly advertised on the website as it came as a bit of a shock to us upon arrival. Also carpark spaces were very small and we only just managed to find one and fit in it!! Lovely breakfast and staff.

From the moment of arrival right through to checkout this was an enjoyable stay. The hotel seems to be relatively new and is well cared for with a spacious reception space containing some toys and a free games station for children/teenagers. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful and the room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The hotel is in a relatively quiet area but is a short walk to the Temple Meads railway station and perhaps 10 minutes walk from the harbourside area where there are lots of cafes, restaurants and clubs. Booking through hotels.com gave a considerable discount - we paid one third of the walk in rate and at that price it was very good value though it wouldn't have been worth the full price. One minor annoyance is that wifi and internet connection was available only at an extra cost whereas in my experience many hotels provide this free. However, there are stations in the reception area giving up to 20 minutes of free internet access which might be sufficient for some people. Overall though a very pleasant hotel.

Good location close to shops and restaurants. Hotel staff friendly enough. I refused to have my passport photocopied as it it illegal to do so which ruffled a few feathers but I stood my ground and of course agreed to show it. Why I needed to identify myself is beyond me. I had paid in advance!!!!

Lovely Hotel ideal location would go back again

our room was grand but my friend in the room next to us found a knickers in the drawer. i found the hotel fine and location was great to see the city by foot. would go there again.

Perfect location and great service. Did notice that we saved over half the price of the room going through hotel.com. Although good not worth full price.
