Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to beach without beach prices. Beds and pillows not very comfortable.

the hotel was very noisy and not well maintained

Overall very good.

I don't know if its hotels.com or days inn fault but if pets are welcomed and require a $15 a day additional fee that should be told up front at the time of booking not after the fact.

My stay was awesome! The staff was etremely nice and they would even make fresh coffe for my mom who likes to go out and smoke at 3am. I can't say enough about how nice everybody was at the front desk. There was one girl that was there late at night that was super nice that made coffe for my mom and she even knew a guy that gave us some super super directions on how to get home using an easier route. I wish I knew this girls name and the guy who gave me the directions because I would like to thank them again! Another girl that booked my extra night was very nice and a guy at the desk helped me with the printer and went out of his way to get it to work. He also gave me directions to the nearest theater. This was the best customer service I have ever had. Even the 4 star hotels don't have as good of service. I felt safe with the inside corridors and the pool was really nice too. I will stay here from now on! Thanks to the superb staff for the awesome stay and service!!!

The room was nice for the price. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very helpful. We would stay here again when visiting our kids.

the room looked nothing like the advertised room looked. It smelled musty . No elevators.. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here

Clean, but the room and bathroom had an over-whelming smell of chlorax. I left for a few hours and bought febreeze spray and a scented candle. When I returned the smell had decreased and the febreeze made it bearable.

While it is nice to have a place that accepts pets, couold have lived without the 2 yappy dogs near my room. A call to the front desk may have helped it, but I accepted that is just part of a hotel that allows pets. Other than that, it was a good value for the money and the staff was very helpful.

The hotel is pet friendly, but it shoudn't have carpet for those pet friendly rooms. very good location, close to different restaurants, and to the beach. I like they have refrigerator and Microwave, that is a plus, and the continental breakfast is very convinient for kids too

I will give you the scoop on this hotel. I stayed here for a week and found it to serve my needs and my purpose. It is approx. 1 1/4 of a mile to the beach, but there is a beach trolley that you can ride across the street for $1.50. They also rent bikes for $25. There is a grocery store 1/2 block away and seafood restaurants that surround. The hotel itself could probably at some point use an update but the staff, the cleanliness and the value made my tip enjoyable. This is a place that was worth staying for a week and I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff and the front desk did an excellent job. I will definitely recommend and will return.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast and the location was good as well. It was an old hotel but clean. It had everything you needed and was a great value but it was just average. It was a nice place to spend the night but I wouldn't want to be there for more then 1 night. Our room had a humidifier in there that went off and on all night which was really annoying. The room was clean but it being so old just made it seem dingy and it smelled of smoke. Not my room but, the hallway.

Ever been to a two story Hotel that didn't have an elevator? Me either until this dump. So I had to haul my bags up a smelly, dirty staircase just to get to the second floor. There I found a similarly smelly room, with the sparsest furniture I'd ever seen. The local Salvation Army store must have had a recent sale on lamps because the room had like 5 lamps in it, 3 of which were on the floor because there was hardly a stick of furniture in the joint. The bed was big, but appeared that a 500 lb weight was in the center of it for an inordinate amount of time, because I was looking at huge sag in the middle. Nice crowd it attracted as well - the drunks were still coming in at 3am and the truckers and construction workers were starting up their big trucks to warm up in the pkg lot at 5:30am. If they were giving away free nights stays here, pay the extra hundy and stay somewhere else !

The place felt dirty. I had my cat with me. They charge $15 for pet and they wanted to charge that for each night. Initially I booked for one night then had to extend for another night. So they asked for $15 pet fee again. Talked myself out of it. Room service will not be responsible for your pet. So did not let them come in to clean the room when we were out. Breakfast was poor.

Very clean room, employees were extremely helpful, great room at a great price.

Great Service. The erooms were a bit aged but over all great place for an overnight stay. I would say this INN needs some renovations. The best thing aside from its employees is that it is a mile from the Naval base.

I always stay at this motel monthly, when I am in town.

Nice staff, clean room, good location. The hallways had a musty odor but otherwise will stay again as our daughter lives in the area

This was at least my third time to stay in this motel and I was more pleased than ever with the personnel and the accommodations. When I arrived the room was just being prepared, and the housekeeper allowed me to enter and sit. She worked quickly but didn't skip a single step. The final touch was cleaning the bathroom mirror and the television screen. I was very positively impressed by her thoroughness and her graciousness. Hope you have plenty of other workers in housekeeping because each room requires much energy. Those at the desk were topnotch, too.

Placed smelled of cigarette smoke. Room was dark and not well kept. Breakfast was only fair. I will not stay there again

I am glad to report that the check-in personnel were most polite and efficient.

We were on the road when we called Hotels.com to find us a hotel on Neptune Beach. Hotels.com did say that the beach was in walking distance from the hotel they picked for us, but it wasn't, it was one mile away, which is not bad, but walking with two kids that would complain the whole way wasn't ideal. The upside was that their was free parking at the beach. The hotel was nice and at a good price, it offered free breakfast and the staff was friendly. I was weary at first when I didn't get to do my usual reviews on the web before deciding on a hotel. But if and when I ever return to Neptune Beach I would choose Days Inn again to stay at. :0)

Beach was 2 blocks away and a grocery store right around the corner, along with many fabulous places to dine. The room was quite large as far as motel rooms go, quite impressed with the king bed...very comfortable! Would not hesitate to use again...Great price!

I knew I was paying a low price to stay here, but that doesn't mean the quality should've been so low. The hallway of the motel smelled like mildew, the ceiling had water damage. Our room was dirty along the base of the wall and worst of all the room was HOT and would not cool down. The blow dryer was tiny and kept shorting out on me which was annoying. I guess if you really need a place to stay near Jax beach and you don't mind a little grime this is the cheapest way to do it. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a lot of middle ground in that part of Florida..

We have stayed there for several years on our way north. This time we got a room that when you opened the door you were hit by must from the air or carpet. I woke up with a huge sinus headache. Will not stay there again.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times while visiting family in the area, but I will never stay again. First, they put us in a double room for two nights even though we booked a king. This was only after waiting almost 45 minutes to check in because the guy working the desk didn't seem to know what he was doing -- crumpling up incorrect printouts and throwing them on the floor, running back and forth mumbling nonsense and just generally looking confused. We only agreed to stay because everything else in the area was booked up for the holiday. Later the first night, the desk guy called while I was visiting family. He said he was moving us to the room we actually booked, but he wasn't. We booked a nonsmoking room and he wanted to put us in a smoking room. I called the hotel and told them to leave us alone and let us try to enjoy our trip. They didn't get the message. The next day the cleaning people began banging on our door around noon even though we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door. When I opened the door, some guy actually told me in broken English, "Get out! You check out!" I wasn't happy, to say the least. I told him we had a two-night reservation and immediately demanded an explanation. Apparently, the hotel moved us to another room anyway without telling us and the cleaning crew was told our room was empty. No one apologized. No one seemed to care. After complaining enough, they eventually put us in the room we'd originally booked, but our trip was ruined by then. For our trouble, the hotel didn't charge us for having a pet. We saved a whopping $15! The hotel isn't, or at least wasn't during previous stays, that bad. It's slightly overpriced and there are always some noisy, questionable guests roaming the halls. But it's a place to stay. I just won't be staying there again.

The room was average to stay in the fridge was not plugged in and the patio doors were secured tight you had to walk around to the limited exits to gain access to your vehicle, pretty difficult for individuals with special requirements. The staff was excellent especially the front desk I give them kudos overall it was a nice stay
