I felt so unpleasant that I was not informed of the on-going construction work in the courtyard!!

Great stay even better when renovations are done

Under construction. Room not ready on time. No room keys they had to let you in and out of your own room. Internet down. Just a disaster

The hotel's atrium is undergoing a major renovation and is completely closed off to all hotel guests. The swimming pool is also closed. The hotel did offer free Internet access as compensation for the closed swimming pool. The room was very acceptable and the location is good. Shuttle to airport runs every 35 minutes to airport.

hotel is under construction so a little messy.

Pros: price, free internet, free parking; Cons: room was dated, carpet smell very bad. would only stay here again if all other were booked.

Hotel is undergoing massive renovations so the center of the hotel is off limits. Rooms are large, but dated. Breakfast was just ok

This hotel was great, except we stayed during the atrium renovation so there was plenty of construction going on. We also did not have access to the pool/spa but were allowed to use the pool at the Hilton. The room was great and so was the service. The view from our room was beautiful. My family would definitely return to this hotel again.

Excellent hotel is being renovated at this time. Now looks ugly but still rooms and breakfast at excellent.

As has been the case with all of our stays at this Embassy Suites, everything (well, except for the major remodeling going on) was wonderful. The folks at the front desk were attentive, professional and personable. The Manager's cocktail reception was nice. The breakfast buffet was downsized a bit because of the construction, but still very enjoyable. The pool and fitness room were closed for construction, but we were permitted to enjoy the facilities at a Hilton located within easy walking distance.

Construction took away from this hotel. Such a shame that nothing was really open. No pool, gym, garden, view of coy pond torn up!

the only disappointment was the food. although there was a variety I did not feel the omelets were that great. they were too cheesy. I also got charged 150 instead of only 60 for parking I have to make sure this does not stay permanent on my account. the biggest let down was pay to park. especially since we were only there at nights and left the whole day that was 20 dollars a day.

The view from our room is gorgeous . The staff are very courteous and very accommodating . We will highly recommend Embassy suites to our friends back home.

They were renovating, but it was really nice hotel and the rooms were bigger than what I thought... Love the view and I would definitely come here again

Hotel was under renovation and we were unaware of that until we arrived and it was too late to change

Front desk staff named SEAN was very helpful and courteous . The hotel should be honored to have him on staff. The housekeeping staff was wonderful especially Jolie.

First of all, Hotels.com did not make clear that this property is in the midst of major renovation, but I can hardly blame Embassy Suites for that. The rate was decent and the Front Desk comped all the regular surcharges: Parking, Wifi, and cooked-to-order breakfast. The double bed suite was roomy, but why double beds?? More than enough room for two queen size beds. That would be my only complaint about the room. Once the renovations are complete, the property will be undoubtedly gorgeous. You can be just as sure that the low rate I got from hotels.com will go way up and all the surcharges will be back! The location is great, easy access to US101, right on the bay with the bay trail right out the back door. The cooked-to-order breakfast wasn't all that great. There were great queues after 8am and the food wasn't spectacular. The daily 5-7pm happy hour of complimentary cocktails was nice, but who knows if that will still be there after the renovations are done. Staff is friendly and efficient. Front desk agent Gail (from London) was very warm and welcoming.

the hotel is under renovations. the atrium area was closed and the cocktail hour as well as the breakfast area were moved. the breakfast was not cooked to order as advertised.would have not stayed there if these conditions were known.

This hotel was great, good location, short drive to downtown SF, breakfast was great. The hotel is under a renovation, but we didnt mind.

looking forward to another chance to stay in a hotel like this. considering it was undergoing renovation, the room is very comfortable, free internet with excellent signal ,able to do things like at home.watch cable, netflix,use internet for business and household purposes...breakfast is excellent,classic looking building and furniture inside...

I specifically asked when I booked the room if they had an indoor pool. They said they did but did not tell me IT WAS CLOSED FOR REMODELING!!! That does not seem very honest and I am seriously annoyed. Also not mentioned, parking is $20 a NIGHT and the hotel is in Burlingame, not exactly the premium high rent district. Next time I will stay at the Hyatt just down the street (if THEY are not remodeling by then :) ).

We enjoy your hotel and have stayed here in the past. The location on the water and your friendly staff encourage us to stay here in future visits to SFO. The only disappointment we had this time was that the hotel was under construction and that was not mentioned when we made the reservation. We feel that should be acknowledged when people make the reservation so this is not a surprise upon arrival.

have stayed at this Embassy Suites many times. It is currently under renovation with the entire inner courtyard closed. the elevator service is disrupted and the entire place is covered in dust. The pool is also closed though you are welcome to walk a half a mile down the road and use the one at the next neighboring hotel. All in all a very very disappointing stay at full price in a construction zone.Stay away and be sure to ask hotels,com if you are being booked into a renovation...

While we were initially extremely disappointed that the pool/hot tub and entire atrium were under construction (this fact was NOT noted on the Hotels.com site when the reservations were made the week before), we ended up enjoying our stay due to the graciousness of the staff and the stellar location on the water. Can't beat Embassy Suites for our family with 5 kids. We'll return once the construction is done (this summer). Loved watching the planes at SFO land. Again, really lovely staff who went out of their way for all the guests.

I wasn't impressed with the extensive rennovation, nor the warm temperature in the room. However, I adore the two rooms offered by Embassy Suites and the breakfast overlooking the water? more than made up for it.

We didn't know this hotal at remodel, swimming pool at remodel,too.My faimly were dispointed.

First I would not stay here ever again . This location has serious construction & security issues. There is major construction and when I booked this hotel there was no mention of it in the advertisement . To my surprise when I arrived I did not expect what what I saw or received. This hotel should not be rented by Embassy Suites until the construction is complete nor should companies like Hotels.com attempt to book it. There is serious lack of securiy. There are electronic security access sensors on all outside doors but were disabled. I was told due to construction. There are no outside security cameras to monitor parking lot and entry activies. There are construction workers living on site dining at the restaurant and at the bar onsite along with guests. Security guards were not present. I asked front desk where they were. She stated 3rd floor sleeping !!!!! Contact me I will provide pictures.

I was very disappointed to see the hotel is completely under construction right now. No pool. No hot tub. The whole atrium is closed off and boarded. The reason we book this hotel is because it's usually so beautiful inside. Hopefully after the remodel it still will be. On a positive note, they have wonderful customer service. Their staff is kind and friendly.

Awful! Terrible construction Noise all day!! So crowded at the breakfast time that there was no table every morning! Did not want to wait!

Entire atrium ton up. We paid rack rate and were not notified prior. Connie Hilton would roll over in his grave.

The hotel staff was friendly and they had one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever seen. The room was cold (near freezing I think) and there was a sign near the thermostat that said they don't turn on the heat unless the outside air temperature is 55 degrees or below. It was about 56 while I was there, apparently. So I just stripped all the covers off the second bed and hunkered down. The atrium was being renovated and it looks like they use various rooms on the second floor for administrative offices and workout rooms. Overall it wasn't bad. Not sure if I'd stay at this particular Embassy Suites again.
