Great bkfst service. Overall, very nice.

Clean but in a bad area of town. 5min from downtown. Needs updated. Room smelled musty. Comfortable beds.

This hotel is fine -- clean and friendly but no bells and whistles. I was in Nashville when it was a home game for Vanderbilt, the Titans and the Predators, so everything was overpriced, including this hotel. Location is close to downtown and accessible to just about everything, but don't plan to walk anywhere. Neighborhood was rundown and more industrial, but not unsafe. I'd recommend it to those looking for a cheap place to stay, but certainly not a romantic weekend.

If you are looking for great amenities or walking to great downtown attractions, then this place is not for you. IF you are looking for a comfortable place to stay that is clean, parking is free, the staff is curteous and helpful, then please select this site for a stay. Headed to Nashville to a Titans game, with hotels near the stadium being one third the qualtity and three times the price. This hotel was about ten minutes away and comfortable and clean. The young lady at the desk was curteous and helpful with all my requests. Overall, a great stay.

Friendly front desk attendant (male -night shift). We had a huge group of girls and he was helpful in getting us a cab and informative when we had questions about the area. The room was very clean and the location was perfect. Only a 7 minute cab ride downtown. Thanks for everything!

Great Price only a short taxi ride to down town it was only 10$ for 4 people ! I would stay here again.

jUST PASSING THROUGH NASHVILLE AND BOOKED THIS HOTEL FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY. VERY CONVENIENT TO THE HIGHWAY, BEDS ARE GREAT , CLEAN AND QUIET, I FORGOT MY TOOTHBRUSH AND THEY HAVE COMPLIMENTARY TOILETRIES AT THE DESK SO NO PROBLEM. STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. DEFINATELY RECOMMEND.

My husband and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express on Spence Lane during CMA Fest 2011 and was very satisfied with our stay. We were not in the room a lot, but this is my take on our stay. The first night the air conditioning went out in our room and it was fixed by the time we arrived back the next night. The breakfast was awesome and the person taking care of the preparations and hosting breakfast was the best! She was always filling the empty areas and cleaning as needed. We were very impressed with her!!! Overall rating of this hotel is a 4 out 5, it could use some updates but it was clean so it's not a bad place!! We will stay there again when we are in Nashville.

My husband and I thought this would be a good place to stay on our recent trip to Nashville for the CMA Music Fest. (June 7th-13th 2011) It seemed like a good price and it's not too far from downtown Nashville. Boy were we wrong!!! The hotel lobby was the only nice place in the whole building. As soon as we got to our room, we were extremely disappointed. The carpet in the room was sticky. Yes, that's right, I did say sticky carpet. The bathroom floor was sticky as well. The room also had a horrible odor to it. I'm not sure what it was. It didn't smell dirty like mold or anything, but it definitely wasn't the smell of a cleaning product either. It was just awful!!! We also had a problem with the cleaning lady not giving us clean towels. One day we noticed that instead of giving us fresh towels, she just refolded the one's we already used. I know this was true because I got make-up on a towel I used and it was on the towel I went to use the next time I got showered. (This is totally unacceptable.) Another problem with the hotel was the location. Even though it was only about 5 minutes from downtown, it is in a horrible location. In that short distance, you have to drive through a very bad and unsafe part of town. I was shocked!!! We had to keep our car doors locked while driving through that area. While stopped at red lights, people will come up to your car to knock on your windows begging for money. I couldn't believe it!! The rest of Nashville was so nice, but not near this hotel. I really would not recommend staying there. Next time we go to Nashville, we'll pay the few extra dollars to stay right downtown, It's worth it!!

This hotel was awesome. The king suite was huge with a fridge, microwave, coffee, couch, chairs, tables, desk, etc....very, very nice. Hot chocolate chip cookies on the check-in counter when we arrived in addition to a little snack package handed to us along with 2 bottles of ice cold water. This was a very nice touch.

Overall, I was satisfied with our stay. Biggest disappointment was that we were told we had booked a room with a King bed and that our room would have a microwave (it did not).

Quiet, clean, choice of soft or firm pillows. Great free quick start breakfast, variety of choices, eggs, bacon or sausage, cereal, etc. Neighborhood a few blocks from the hotel is not the most well kept, industrial & commercial buildings.

The price of this hotel is spot on. The rooms were very comforable but you can tell that it is an older hotel. The bathrooms were tiny but had everything available. The beds and sitting area were clean. The breakfast was amazaing (they had these little cinnamon rolls that were great). The only downfall is that they did not have a shuttle to the downtown area.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is minutes between the Nashville airport and downtown. Although worn, the hotel is clean with basic amenities. The complimentary breakfast was more than expected. It is nestled between several highways, which has its pros and cons. It had a bit more noise and light than I prefer, however it was still a very good, affordable choice.

Overall the hotel was nice but the room was not. The dresser was broken and so was the curtain hooks that tie it to the wall. Holes in wall where pins used to be. The room did not smell clean. The tv remote is not the remote that goes to the tv so you could not tell what channel you were on. Staff was extremley nice and the breakfast bar was nice.

Way too pricey..not a horrible place, just wasn't worth what they are asking. Very old hotel with lots of updates. Sketchy part of town.

We were able to get to down town Nashville in 5 minutes. It was near the interstate, which made it easy to get anywhere we wanted to go. The room and bathroom were nice and clean most of all. Even though the hotel is next to the interstate, the room was very quiet and we were able to sleep without noise, even from the rooms next to us. My only complaint is that the pool could have been cleaner. There was stuff that had fallen from the trees on the bottom of the pool and small bug on the top.

very nice place to stay for little cost

This was a good place to stay for the Country Music Marathon. It was close to every place that I needed to go: convenience stores, expo, airport.
