Embassy Suites LAX International Airport South - إلسيجوندو

This was a great hotel for our family to stay at before it was time to go home. We had two adults and three children and stayed there very comfortably for three nights. Pick up and drop off from LAX. Grocercy store about 15mins walk. You do need a car if you are planning to go anywhere else though.

The hotel was lovely and the food and service were great but my room was near the pool and the gym so it was somewhat noisy and the sliding window in the room open facing a ally a very clean ally but still a ally, there was no screen on the window so someone could have easily come right in had I left the window. I will stay at this location again but will choose a different room.

This Embassy Suites was very nice and it had a Wonderful FREE breakfast each morning and FREE snacks and Drinks in the evening..We were very Pleased with our Stay !!!

It took us 30 minutes, standing in line to get french toast and bacon. Not good. Food was ok, otherwise. The elevators need some attention. A more consistant sweep and cleaning would be recommended. The elevators were always littered with food.

With a family of five, suite hotels are always more convenient. Embassy Suites is usually my hotel of choice when I can afford it. We had to go to LA for a personal emergency (ailing family member), but in the past, we would always stay at this hotel in El Segundo. It was convenient and I always loved the full breakfast. It had been a while since we were last here. The afternoon manager's cocktail hour has really grown. There used to be just a little wine tasting in the bar area. Now there's bartender and cocktails, with non-alcoholic drinks for the non-drinkers and kids in the same area where they serve breakfast. They will feature a cocktail drink of the evening as well as the usual wine and other mixed drinks. Popcorn, nachos, and other snacks are also included. Not too bad. For one dinner, we ate at the restaurant. Great food. Another night, we ate at one of the recommended restaurants in the town of El Segundo. What a pleasant surprise! A contrast to Los Angeles proper. And very reasonable prices. My visit reinforced my reason for staying here. While a little more than other chain suite hotels in the area, they are well worth it. And, truly, the cost is reasonable. My only gripe are the taxes they have to add (about 25%!!). I guess that's the hotel business.

The Hotel was very clean. I love the full hot breakfast and the Happy hour. The service was great!.

We stay at this hotel at least twice a year and find it quite comfortable and self contained. They have a good breakfast and a happy hour in the avening. I would recommend it especially for those traveling to or from LAX.

The location was perfect and the free shuttle to and from the airport was great. The lines get a little long at breakfast, but it was worth the wait. The hotel had a resort feeling and perfect for either a layover or longer stay.

If nothing else, this is really a child-friendly hotel. The staff was so accomodating and a available for help and questions. Great for big families with children.

Thought the staff at the buffet was great the cook was especially friendly. The people at the lounge were friendly and the food was good and priced reasonably. I was a little dissappointed with one incident with an individual named Monica behind the check out desk, other than that I think I might stay here again

Breakfast is rather disappointing. The chefs are nice but serve a watery omelet....ewwww! There is no view from the room, by the way. The windows are locked and have an opaque glass on it. Bad luck too, there was a church group when I went too.

We had a very nice two night stay. It worked out beautifully for our needs at the time. The hotel manager's "party" was such a nice touch- it came at a very much needed distraction to me as I had just seen my son and his family off to their new home overseas. One complaint that we had was the Internet. When we checked in we were told that yes, we would be able to get Internet. We were not told it would be per device so were very surprised at the ridiculous bill. The manager did adjust it for us. Per device is excessive.

While the room was decent the front desk staff was awful! We had problems with our Internet connection and were given a bill with 11 different Internet charges. When we went to the front desk to get these charges adjusted the lady tried to tell us we had 11 different devices we used! After much arguing she agreed to remove a few charges but not all. This however was before she saw our dog - in the middle of our discussion about the Internet she proceeded to lecture us about our dog and how the dog was only allowed on certain floors (our floor apparently did not allow dogs). She then ADDED additional charges to our room. When the reservation was made we discussed the pet with the hotel to make sure it ws ok. Apparently they never noted this in the reservation though! We did get the manager involved at this point and to his credit he fixed the Internet charges. I. Regards to the front desk lady she was simply mean and nasty! I cannot recommend this hotel simply because of the awful service I received upon check in/out.

This was a great hotel. Right next to the airport, but we didn't hear any planes. We had a King suite which was very nice with the kids. It has a bedroom with sink and tv. A door closes between the bedroom and living room/sleeper sofa area. This was great with kids. They had their own Tv. Also, it has a mini frig, bar sink and microwave. The parking was a little expensive but the free breakfast definately made up for it. They had made to order omletes, hash browns, either pancakes or french toast and lots more. It was great. The hotel was very nice, clean and close to everything.

The Embassy Suites was conveniently located close to LAX. Shuttle service was great, room was wonderful and roomy, and the breakfast was awesome. I will stay here again and am recommending it to friends!

We overnighted twice in this hotel on our trip to fiji.It is very conveniently located next to the airport and has a courtesy shuttle.Although our room faced the airport noise was not an issue.The rooms are built aroun a six story high atrium with trees pools cops ducks and turtles.Our daughter was fascinated with the wildlife.There is an enclosed pool and a hot tub with views of and an exit to a little enclosed garden with chairs.There is a pub and a restaurant and the food is decent.Every evening there is a manager'reception with free drinks and snacks and it always seems to be well attended.The prices are great,the neighbourhood is not much to be talked about. In summary it is an interesting and moderately priced hotel that I'll use when I want to stay close to the airport.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We have two adult children so the extra room was really great. It was nice to have the free breakfast included and the free transportation to the air port was great! The staff was helpfull even though we were given incorrect information when checking in the next morning the staff fixed it right away and helped us find shuttles and tours very quickly and nicely.

We bring grandkids to Disneyland each year and have stayed here twice. The staff is helpful, the breakfast is much more extensive than most and we are only about 35 minutes from Anaheim. We recommend the suite concept and will stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff - great evening reception and nice breakfasts. Also child friendly. Great interior with Koi ponds and lush plant life.

Ater a long flight from South America, I stayed at this hotel for 1 night only leaving the next day to sunny Honolulu. The hotel is very nice with the Spanish Style and decor, very quiet at night I slept well and enjoy the amenities. What I was disappointed about was the breakfast service, on Saturdays it runs from 7am, I think the hotel should consider that many of the guests are there only to wait for their next flight. Maybe they should consider a breakfast basket for people like me leaving the hotel earlier. Except that, a good experience.

I'm reviewing the hotel and staff and not my experience with the other customers to be fair to all of you. Beware one thing, There is a night charge for parking in their parking garage but you do have the option of trying to park on the street to save yourself some money. The rooms are beautiful but there will be no scenic view. My ''balcony'' was an emergency exit on the 5th floor?!?!?! But the room was clean, plenty of tv channels to watch, 2 tvs (one in the bedroom and one in their living space.) Had BOTH a fridge and a microwave witha nice little table, chairs and counter space if you were preparing anything. Had a bathtub,shower combo in the bathroom with beautiful marble coutertops. Bed was neat and clean(we had the king size) and the couch in the living space folded out into a full size bed (if needed). They provided us with a crib at no additional charge. The gym is located by the pool through a glass window which is nice for parents who want to work out and have children who want to swim. Nice gym, Nice pool, kind of a smaller hot tub. The resteraunt has a really neat koi pond with turtles and ducks!!! (with their own little ''room''. It was cute) the breakfast was good. you could get an omlet made or just eat scrambled eggs,sausage links, hashbrowns,oatmeal, 4 different kinds of cereal,pepsi products,coffee or juice, bagles, toast or an assortment of pastries. so a decent breakfast. Staff was wonderful. The desk was clean and neat and we checked in in under 2 minutes( which is nice because they were quite busy). The room service took a little longer than they quoted but the food was good. Not awesome but good. Overall 5 stars because this hotel was everything we needed and wanted. Thank you and God Bless!

Hotel staff- GREAT!!! In town annually and always enjoy the ammenities. Happy hour ends a bit early for a business day. Santiago and Daniel were most hospitable that night and by breakfast, Juan was there yet another year, stilll smiling, very kind! I understand the rooms are in line for renovation, hooray! This establishment has so much to offer="get her done!"

Stayed one night before an early flight out. Hotel has a beautiful lobby, complimentary snacks and cocktail. Even though it is close to the airport, we couldn't hear the planes in our room. Staff was very nice. Shuttle service to the airport was prompt. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I left a piece of luggage in my room and they sent it to me UPS Ground no charge and it arrrived at my home the next day! The breakfast was included in the price of the room and was very good. Made to order eggs any way you like them. I reccommend this hotel. Very satisfied!!

A previous reviewer claimed $11 per day parking. I'm not sure if they were mistaken, or if the rates have changed but as of Feb 2012 it's $24 per day for hotel guests. For our trip the parking fees cost as much as the rental car itself. Check-in took almost an hour because their credit card machine was having problems, which caused a very long line of customers. The hotel is nice enough, but the nickel-and-dime stuff is annoying. - $24 per day parking - $12 per day internet service

As we wlkd in we were amazed by how nice the hotel hotel looked and how they make it look outdoor when in reality ur indoor. Check n @ the hotel went smooth until we went up to our room and it wasnt what we booked. we called dwn to guest svc but they would not giv us the room we booked .. Breakfast is very good and rooms are nice and spacious. Parking is expensive but overall its a nice hotel and we will stay again..... Raveen&Quita....

The Embassy Suites in El Segundo is a great hotel. Whenever my family and I visit LA this is our first and only choice to stay at. First off it is very nice and has a calm atmosphere with it's inside garden. My kids love the pool area and we all enjoy the free breakfast in the mornings. My husband enjoys the managers reception(free alcohol!). The rooms are nice and comfortable and the staff is always friendly and helpful. It's the best deal around!

Athe hotel is conveniently located near LAX and the staff is very helpful. It is unfortunate the hot tub is brightly lit by the workout room directly adjacent to it. We were really looking forward to a hot soak but had to pass because of the bright lights. The hotl manager reception was a nice touch but the dinner service at the lounge was so poor we had to dive to a restaurant nearby.

The hotel is conveniently located next to LAX but I had a room on the side closest to the airport and it was a bit noisy. Bathroom was in need of repair, but the breakfast was good and quick.

We stayed at Embasy suites LAX south one night, coming back from Australia and having a flight the next day to Canada. The shatle bus picked us up from the airport and within 5 min we were at the hotel. The check in was easy and fast. The room was ready with beautiful white linen on the comfortable bed. Late afternoon we enjoyed the Manager reception with free drinks and refreshments. The hotel has a nice restaurant where we ate our dinner. The hotel staf is very helpful and pleasant, check out took a minute.It's a great place to stay when you are on transit.

Very nice hotel and convenient for those who will catch an international flight with family and lots of luggage. The only negative was that it was smelling a little bit of cigarette smoke. Everything else was great, especially breakfast.

I've stayed here a couple of times on overnight trips to the LA area. The hotel is not the fanciest, but it's clean, well-run and very convenient to LAX. The breakfast is really good and so far the night caps at the bar have been 2 for 2 in terms of good drinks and unintentional comedy from the random smorgasbord of travelers and convention attendees living it up.

I love embassy suites, always a great stay, clean hotel. The managers reception and breakfast are a big bonus.

I just love the Embassy Suite Hotels in every location I've ever stayed. The accommodations are just top-notch, from the breakfast, to the cleanliness of the room, the manager special, internet availabilities, and Bistro Restaurant. I truly love the facility, the customer service everyone shows to include the free shuttle service to and from the airport, the easy check-in and check-out process. This is definitely the place to stay.

The hotel was very nice, clean and the breakfast was fast and had many options. The only complaint was that we waited 40 mins for the airport shuttle to take us to the hotel. We were unaware that we had to call the hotel to let them know to pick us up.

we stayed at 6 different hotels during our stay and none compared to the embassy suites - we were spoilt by this hotel. freindly staff, great breakfasts and beautiful surroundings!

We weren't sure what to expect when traveling on Christmas Day, but the Embassy Suites welcomed us with terrific service. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, with fish ponds and tropical garden nooks. The pool was wonderful. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was just lukewarm. The room was clean and so comfortable. It was very easy to find from LAX. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed here recently for a 1 night lay over. Arrived at LAX 1:30am. Called hotel and was promptly picked up by shuttle (please note check you are boarding the Emabssy Suite SOUTH shuttle and not the hilton/embassy suite North shuttle... the south one is white and you generally have to call the hotel.) Beautiful hotel, exudes style and provides excellent value for money comfort. Room was clean with ample space. Bathrooms was slightly cramped but more than manageable. Complimentary breakfast was quite good also , with made to order omelets. Highly recommended for those wishing easy access to LAX.

It's hard enough for a teacher to afford a plane trip + hotel...let alone losing money w/u bc of flight change. You warned, but it hurt big time. No thanks to you this year

Stayed there just to be close to the airport. It was worth it. I could take the shuttle to-and-fro when I dropped my family at the airport. Courtsey breakfast was good with good options. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue (minor) was hot water was veryyyy hot - could potentially scald. My son had a minor scare.

Extremely pleasant and courteous staff. Very responsive. Facility is well maintained. Only negative is that the guest can't control whether the heat, or the air conditioning, or neither is on.

Older hotel in the Spanish tradition. Well kept and clean. Literally across the street from LAX but never heard a plane. Bath linens were very nice. Bed was comfortable. Did not see anything close for shopping or eating. Bistro was OK but not special. Evening managers reception was disappointing with only chips, salsa, and popcorn and of course free booze. Left before 6 AM breakfast start. Atrium very pretty. Worst part was heat was not turned on until after 9 PM and we were very cold. Desk offered a portable beater. Mold in grout lines of shower. Free shuttle to LAX every 30 to 10 minutes depending on time of day. Must call if at LAX for ride to hotel.

If an Embassy Suites is close to our end destination it is our first choice for hotel accomodations. So far, we have not been dissapointed by their amenities or the service. This specific hotel will be highly recommended to all our friends and associates.
