Room was very small but clean. Small beds, queens would have been much better. Would have been nice to have a listing of TV channels in rooms. Only one elevator was working. Liked fridge and microwave in room. Was across the street from convention center where we had to go. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff was tired so that made her iretiable, only one elevtor workng, had problems with key a couple of times, just wasnt a good stay.

Walked into a cold room probably 40-50 at 12:00am after driving 5 hours. Turned heat on which did work but by 2:00am still very cold. Too tired to ask for new room. Just piled other side of bed covers on me and my coat and tried to get warm. Shower was very cold in AM. Only 1 channel of TV which was a country music video channel. I should have called down and complained but by the time I checked in I was worn out. I think the motel should keep all rooms at 55-60 then let the customers decide to make it warmer or colder.

We were kind of frightened by the fact the elevator was out of order and the pop machine on our level had been spray painted.

Great location if you're attending an event at Young arena. Older decor but clean. Excellent breakfast. Great Staff. Will stay with them again.

Overall stay was horrible. Horrible sevice and horrible cleanliness. Just an overall horrifying experience. Not at all satisfied. Couldn't even sleep the hotel was so unclean. Blood stains on sheets, hair on sheets, stains in bathroom by toilet, hair on the tub and dirty tub. The area was not a very welcoming area. Located near a bar that didnt close untill 5am. Words cannot really explain how bad our experience was with this hotel and service.

It's an old hotel - however, it's very clean. Old carpeting and furniture. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with good selection. Always love the waffles. Parking very convenient. Staff members always had a smile. They seemed to like their job and each other.

The name says it all. Thsi place is a quaulity facility. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Very clean nice rooms. People are helpful and friendly. The person working nights can be a little unpleasant, but overall this is a great place.

Elevator out of order. Staff couldn't tell me what the cancellation fee was. Dumpy looking. Smells like smoke. Not good.

We booked for one night and had our two grandchildren with us. When we checked in we asked for a roll-a-way bed...was promised it would be delivered, it was never brought up...my husband had to go down and get it at 11pm once we returned to the hotel for bed. Next morning my grandson went into the shower and the handle came off in his hand...water pouring out he was hit with very hot water....called front desk to get maintenance..got the desk clerk..she did not know what to do...she left....we were stuck in the room with the water rising....couldn't take a shower...maintenance arrives half-hour later...turns off all water...we now cannot wash at all.....desk clerk states we can go two floors down to a vacant room to shower...which meant getting fully dressed...grandchildren in tow....it was a nightmare.

We stayed here one night for a wedding and were happy with our room and the price. For being significantly cheaper than the Ramada next door, I think this was just fine. Our bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well and we had a mini-fridge in our room (nice bonus I wasn't expecting). The hotel is a bit old and the elevator is wall-to-wall carpet; we took the stairs.

The staff at checkin were so accommodating I needed to be at a wedding and did not realize that checkin was not until 4:00 and my room was not ready////They switched rooms so I could get ready and be on my way.

Besides the carpet tiles on the elevator walls ceiling to floor, and the toilet paper you couldn't use because it was so tightly in the bar, and a non-smoking room, where the hallway smelled like smoke, it was not all that great. Just saying.

Nice clean place. Was an easy check-in at 2 a.m.!!!

Good location, older facility, very good for the price. Good breakfast, continental style, no eggs to order, but waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, juice, yogurt.

This was a nice hotel for the price. Easy and convient check-in and check-out. We only stayed in the room mostly to sleep but it was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a little old and needs some updates but nothing that hindered the experience. Close to restuarants/bars (even for the police I guess as there were 8 squads there at 2am for a bar across the way haha. Never did find out was happened), major roads, and shops. Hotel staff was curtious and knowlegable.

The hotel is very convenient, and for the price it's a good deal. If a fitness center is important this isn't the hotel for you.

This is an older building found in downtown Waterloo, but we ended up with a room that has 2 rooms inside it. It gave us space to spread out!
