Nice location, helpful staff, excellent view of city and great breakfast. Will stay here for my next visit to Singapore.

This is not a 5 star hotel. Although it is conveniently located by shopping and other hotels, I would not stay here again. The hotel is not well kept, my shower was leaking, bathrooms were old. View was right into another hotel, not a panoramic view of the city. Hotel food very expensive.

The right mix of comfort, attentive (but not intrusive) service and convenient, well-maintained facilities. As a frequent business traveller to Singapore, I will definitely stay here again.

During travel, we splurged and stayed a night at the Pan Pacific. The staff was so helpful and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. It is close to all prime must-see sights and provides great views of the Marina Bay from the upper levels of the hotel. I would return for sure.

We stayed here late in January 2012 and were extremely pleased with the hotel service, room and amenities. Check in was excellent and quick, concierge service was helpful in us finding our way around Singapore, the room was modern, clean and we were upgraded to a balcony room that offered spectacular views of the harbour area. Our stay was through Chinese New Year celebrations and we had front row seats for fireworks and within easy walking distance of many of the visitor sites in the area. Plenty of dining options in the adjacent malls as well as excellent shopping. Taxi fare to the bustling Nathan Road shopping area was very inexpensive. Definitely a perfect place to stay for a first time visit to Singapore! Highly recommended!

This hotel is conveniently located at the Marina area where the year-end fireworks and countdown is held. The hotel is near to shopping centres and many restuarants and attractions like Esplanade theatre, the Merlion,Marina Sands Casino and Resort,the Flyer etc. Hotel is nice and comfortable with quite spacious room and friendly and helpful staff at the reception and room service. It is almost perfect except for one thing that could improve. There were three of us, they could have provided a third set of toothbrush, glass, tea-cup and spoon without asking.

I can't criticise the Pan Pacific as they did pretty much everything right. Although it's a large hotel they manage to make you feel pretty special - taking you to your room (not sure if this is a room specific thing) and introducing you to the facilities. The view from our executive room on the 28th floor was incredible. We had mostly uninterrupted views of the marina all the way from the Singapore Flyer to the 'durian' styled building. The room includes a generous bathtub, separate shower, coffee and tea making and a really comfortable bed - I miss it already! Breakfast was included in our stay and the selection was impressive, with Chinese, Indian and European styled dishes. I would recommend a rate including breakfast as it's expensive to eat in the surrounding neighbourhood. Oh, the executive room includes access to the Bering Suite which we didn't have much opportunity to use but they do have complimentary snacks, (good) espresso, tea and soft drinks throughout the day and a cocktail hour as well (I think this is for beer and wine only but was never around to take advantage).

I stayed for a short business trip and truly appreciate the service of the hotel staff. The room has impressive view of the surrounding Marina Bay area, unfortunately I did not get the one with king size bed. Breakfast buffet selection is excellent. The hotel is a short walk to the Promenade MRT station and other Marina Bay attractions.

While a little on the pricey side, the Pan Pacific makes up for it with the cleanliness and the great customer service. They even sent us a little cake to say "Happy Anniversary!"

The pan pacific hotel is very clean and pristine throughout. The staff are very helpful and the rooms have a wonderful view and are modern inside.

My 2-day escapade at Pan Pacific was simply charming and enjoyable. The service was impeccable, as we were offered free drinks on the house and had a fruit basket sent to our room, because we only got to check in at 4pm instead of 3pm as stated. all thanks to Jonathan, the affable PR staff who gave us a wonderufl first impression of the hotel. The rest of the hotel staff were friendly, polished and professional in their service. We were given the highest floor available for the executive room, and the view from the balcony was spectacular, especially at night. As expected of a old-school luxury hotel, the decor was a tad dated but comfortable and adequate nevertheless. The bed was really comfy. As part of the executive room booking, we were allowed to go to the cosy Bering Suite for refreshments (high tea, evening drinks), which was lovely. The high-speed WIFI available throughout the entire hotel was a big bonus. Location-wise, the hotel itself is connected to Marina square shopping centre. One can easily explore the other sights around the Marina Bay area i.e. MBS, Esplanade. Downtown area is easily accessible via the subway. All in all, a wonderful stay and I would definitely return again. Highly recommended!

The Pan Pacific was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The room was comfortable, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the surrounding marina bay area offered easy access to interesting areas to explore. The lobby is a little non-descript but the pool and surrounding garden area were quite lovely. We look forward to using this hotel again in the future.

The Pan Pacific in Singapore leaves the impression that it used to be one of the best hotels in Singapore. I stayed here for one week in January. Service and rooms could add quite some value by being updated. Still it is one of the better hotels in Singapore. The pool and the Gym are in good condition. The rooms are very spacious. Internet is extremly slow. So if you are here for business you should check out how to connect to Internet via some other services. Cleaning could improve. Certainly mistakes can happen but it was quite annoying that my room was not cleaned at all on the last day. Also annoying was the fact that the door did not shut and I found the room twice with open door after the room service left the room and did not carefully close the door. In terms of service it was quite surprising that they did not even apologize at check out. In general, still a good hotel. In terms of service I had some better experience in Singapore with other hotels.

We were upgraded to Harbour View Room and it gave us an amazing sight of the Marina Bay Sands. The room was located on the 25th Floor and absolutely perfect for couples. Worth every penny of the amount we paid.

I booked a room at the Pan Pacific using a hotel deal website and was really happy with my stay - they placed my boyfriend and I on the 32nd floor. The staff were very friendly, easy to deal with and the room was a reasonable size. Room service was really good - lovely food and generous servings. They also accommodated us having a later check out time and offered for us to use the hotel facilities after check out if we wanted to shower. There is several shopping centres across the road, which made the location great as well. I'll definitely stay here again.

Great location and Great service. Recommend to everybody.

Great location, fine hotel beautiful. Unfortunaltly for us, it is a non smoking hotel, yet, our room had a Heavy smoke odor. they did bring up an air purifier. Fine customer service Would recommend to others

We had a great stay at this hotel recently. The design is spectacular and it is conveniently close to many shopping areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. They approached our enquiries in a personalised and professional manner. The unique design of the internal and external 'exposed' elevators afforded us a spectacular view every time we travelled to our room. + + My wife misplaced an irreplaceable and valuable gold ring in our room but only realised some hours after we had checked out. The concierge desk promptly initiated a thorough search of the room and located the ring, it was promptly returned to us in the lobby. Thanks to all involved.

We booked the Pan Pacific for the first night of our holiday and were delighted with the quality of the hotel and the service we received. We took a taxi from the airport and despite the fact that we arrived at 8am we were able to check into our room immediately. Rooms are of a decent size and the bathroom was excellent with both a shower and a bathtub. Our only problem was that the toilet hadn't been cleaned but we phoned down and someone came up within minutes to sort it out. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun loungers, pleasant changing rooms and plenty of towels and water. We swam late in the afternoon as the sun went down and had the pool practically to ourselves. I would definitely stay at the Pan Pacific again and actually much preferred it to the night we spent at Marina Bay Sands! I think it represents good value for money and the attentiveness of the staff meant that our holiday got off to a really great start.

After arriving from Legends hotel in Ho Chi Min(the best club floor experience ever) this hotel was a bit of a dissapointment . At the 5.30 cocktail hour we were informed that the only cocktail available was a Singapore sling. My wife only drinks Margueritas. OK the lounge manager soon had a marguerita for us and plenty of French champagne for me,so I suppose we should not complain. As well as this we were not impressed with the food selection as it did not measure up to the other 5+star hotels in Singapore. Having said this I must say that the service we received was first class.

The Pan Pacific was a great hotel to stay in. I had never been to Singapore before so I wasnt sure if i was picking the right location or the right hotel. The location was great - right next to the SMRT 04 Promonade line - it was easy to catch a train to most places we wanted to go. It was really close to the Marina Bay Sands where we spent a fair bit of time and was only a $4 taxi there. The staff were very helpful at all times. Our room didnt come with breakfast and the cost was $30 plus taxes and services each which was really steep - but we just walked across to the connecting shopping centre every morning and had breakfast in a coffee shop for $25 (for 2 people). Overall i would recommend this hotel to someone looking and would return myself.

Excellent service, room and pool area and loved our stay highly recommend

We arrived at 6pm to check in and our room was not ready, however they upgraded us to a room with a balcony, but we still had to wait an hour for that. The location of this hotel is great, and if you get a room that faces the Sands, you have a great view of the light show. Easy walking distance to two MRT (subway) stations. The pool here is great as well, it was a great place to cool off during the hot midday sun. The room was nice, with a great view. However, the A/C in the room struggled to cool the room down. All of us woke up several times during the night because it was warm, and the A/C was set on it's lowest setting at 20C. The bathroom has a louvered door, meaning it's not a solid door, so bathroom noises are clearly audible in the room. The beds, like most beds in Asia, were very firm. It was a decent stay, but as someone who needs a cool room to sleep, I would not go back. However, if that doesn't bug you, this hotel would be worth a try.

If you stay here, you can go in most places in singapore. Link to 3 malls, easy mrt access... Last but not least, it has relliable and honest staff! I left my pouch with my money, Id, n cellphone. I called them 5 hours after I checked out. Thank God, they gave me a ring back with a good news! I got my money and my cellphone back. They even write a report and count to the smallest bill. Very impresive!

Good hotel in the heart of southern shopping district. Great if you a planning to watch F1!!

This hotel was just amazing, the staff were really nice, the room was big and clean and the location just perfect. I loved it and I would definitely go back.

We booked this hotel as final treat on our way back from our honeymoon trip to Australia and paid the extra for the Executive package, and, believe me, it was worth every penny of the extra. We arrived late at night after our flight from Perth and were greeted (by name) at our taxi by a very attractive and immaculately turned out young lady who whisked us straight to our room on the 29th floor.By the time she had explained all the facilities of the room to us and made sure we had everything we needed, our luggage, which had been taken from the taxi by a member of the very efficient staff, arrived at our room. As for our room, it was huge, with what must have been a superkingsize (and very comfy) bed, huge tv, beautifully appointed bathroom and even electrically operated blinds and drapes on the picture windows out onto the balcony (one of the many benefits of the Executive package and a real boon to a smoker like myself). The view from our balcony was magical, Merlion bay was laid out in front of us with the backdrop of the lights of Singapore's skyscrapers, off to the left was the Singapore Flyer (like the London Eye) and just a few hundred yards away the brand new Marina Bay Sands Hotel with it's unusual design - we could not possibly have asked for a better view. We had breakfast in the Bering Suite (the Executive lounge) an extensive buffet with great service. You could also have hot drinks and snacks here all day and cocktails (including wine and beer) from 5.30pm to 8.00pm - all part of the Executive package. If you were still hungry after that there were, I think, eight different restaurants within the hotel - we weren't there long enough to get around them all. The hotel was immaculately clean and the staff were always exceptionally smart, helpful and polite, nothing was ever too much trouble for them - we were even given a 'Congratulations' cake on our first morning in the hotel - such attention to detail was typical of this lovely hotel. We were attended to quickly and the service was good. We were offered higher floor that has a better view. The room is spacious & clean. It has many modern gadgets and it would have been better if the bell boy takes the initiative to explain how to work them without being asked. But overall we are satisfied with the service & would return.
