Hotel Chambord - بروكسل

I booked this hotel well in advance, so got a very good rate for the room which is not that easy for hotels in Brussels. The hotel is comfortable, but even though the rooms are supposed to be non smoking, mine smelled quite strongly of cigarettes. The location is excellent (just across) the metro station, the center of Brussels and many of the EU institutions can be easily reached. The breakfast is generous :) Overall, not bad at all if you book your room in advance.

The hotel is pretty good, breakfast is very well served. People is very kind. Rooms maintenance should be checked. Specific corners in room where dust seems to not have been clean for long time. Remote control did not turn off the tv, no even sleep option. it is a detail but still bothers. Batrhoom door could not be closed completely although it stayed closed by pushing it, it just opened. INTERNET IS CHARGED AND EXPENSIVE: There is no place where to use it for free. Anyway thez did provide a user valid for 30 minutes. We had 2 computers. One day we were only provided of a single user, although we requested 2. The next day we were provided of 2. So it is not really clear. Internet should be free. If it was included I am sure I would return to this hote.

Room could of been cleaner(tub had hairs & reminant trash left from previous occupant). Room also did not have a/c (at least I couldn't find the switch)! Room decor in itself was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Good selection for Breakfast, just make sure you don't go 30 before it's over the eggs & ham were cold & were not replenished. I was disappointed by the front desk agent. We didn't feel welcomed at check in, nor did she help us with our requests regarding local activities. I guess I'm just used to receiving a warm welcome, maybe even a question, "where are you from/what brings you to brussels?" etc.

We stayed only one night at this hotel due to airline problems, but it was great for our purpose. It was within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the Grand Place and it was right at a Metro stop. So we saw all the sights that we had planned to visit. The staff was very nice, and we would definitely stay there again.

Spent one night in March 2012. Thought the location was ok. However, the room we got didn't have any windows facing outside, only facing a bathroom chute in the middle of the building. It was a bit chilly outside, but the room was so hot we slept without a blanket and with the window open yet it was not very comfortable. I can only imagine what it is in the summer. And ours is not an exception to the rooms facing inside. Each floor has at least 3 to 4 rooms like ours. Also, the carpet was not very clean. Bathroom however was extremely nice. If you can ensure an outside facing room with some more sun it might be a better bet. Otherwise, I will definitely look for another place if I revisit brussles.

The room was and halls was too warm, and this was in March, cant imagine how the summer is. No air condition. In the bathroom the sink was clogged and the room was very dark. The breakfast was really boring with little variety and there was even a rotten orange in the fruit basket. Besides this the hotel has a great location and is easy to find and the hotel and rooms are modern and it cant have been long since the renovated it. You get what you pay for and it is definitely worth the price.

Location of hotel was very convenient to the most famous sights. Parked the car and went everywhere on foot. The room was very clean and spacious. Even though it faced a busy street, it was quiet. The breakfast buffet was included and very good also. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights for a business trip to Brussels. It was fine for me but it's not a high-quality business hotel. My single room was tiny, and although in theory it had a desk, the access to it was completely obstructed by the bed. And the room was very cold. (Brussels was also experiencing very cold weather it should be said.) Internet access was patchy. And the daily cleaning didn't include making the bed. On the plus side, the hotel was very conveniently located for my meeting, and the breakfast selection very good. I would probably return to the hotel if on a similar budget for future trips.

This hotel was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The front receptionist is very rude and unhelpful. Everything we asked for such as extra pillows, water, an electrical converter,. etc. was "not possible." They do not provide water or coffee in the rooms. The beds are hard and the halls smelled like mildew. The front of the hotel is under construction so you have to drag your suitcase through the mud to get to the entrance. The absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Very convenient location for this general area of Brussels. No frills - but has all the basics needed incl. wireless. Nice breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Hotel Chambord was awesome, friendly reception, very nicely decorated. Room was well cleaned with a nice modern bathroom and furniture. Breakfast was good (great by European "breakfast included" standards). Only a 10 minute walk from the Grande Place and Brussels Centraal. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel near the center of Brussels.

The hotel has a good location, good service, is very clean with great interior design, the service is excellent. Only thing missing is the air conditioning - you can't run a 3-star luxe hotel without that!

It is clean and modern, but no style, no pictures on the wall. Totally utilitarian room. No place where you would want to spend time. Very well located right next to Rue de Namur Metro Station.

Went to Brussels with a group of friends and stayed here because all the hostels in the city were booked. The location was great, literally in front of the metro stop, lots of places to shop and eat near by. Kind of a far walk from the grand place/st. Catherine's area at night but taxi was only around 10euro. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very central location- beside the metro. Hotel was having a make over during my stay. Rooms have no air conditioning which may be an issue in the summer.

The hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk there from the Central Station if you don't have too much in the way of luggage. We used the Hop On, Hop Off bus to easily get around the city and see the sights. One of the hotels best features was the breakfast buffet which incuded eggs, bacon and a very nice variety of rolls and cheeses. Eat hearty because food can tend to be quite expensive in Brussels. The Hotel Chambord proved to be an excellent choice for a short stay in the city. It was clean, had a wonderful location and was quite affordable.

Within walking distance to the royal palace and museums and gardens. And a metro station is at the front door of the hotel. Very friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. My only complaints are the tinest room and the lack of hot water for the shower. At best, the water was lukewarm.

Great hotel for the price, but my room was facing a 5 * 5 m yard full of cigarette buts. The room had absolutely no ventilation and was warm and stuffy. The air didn't circulate in the yard either so it didn't matter if I left the window open or not. Breakfast was alright, but bacon and eggs were cold. My room was very clean and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great too, took 5-10 minutes to walk down to the central part of Brussels.

I have to admit it's a very good deal for the price. There were just a few cleanliness details in the room and although I was all the way up on the sixth floor, it was still quite noisy, especially on the weekend. Good location though. The breakfast buffet was quite complete, no complaints there. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a good deal.

We chose this hotel over the Sheraton (both same price) becuase this one had breakfast included :)..However....breakfast hours on the weekends we learned are not until 8a so that would make catching our 10am flight back to the states difficult.

This hotel is in an ideal location, 10 minute walk from Central station and the Grand Place, whilst having bars, restaurants and lots of shops on its doorstep. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful. We were there on business and the staff were very helpful in giving us detailed directions to where we needed to be. The barman was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Brussels.

The street up to the hotel had high-end shops, but there was graffiti on the bldgs. Would not feel safe wandering around at night alone. Hotel was right next to a metro stop, so convenient to travel to Brussels-Midi station. Room was freezing cold even with 2 radiators and water was too cold to take a decent shower. But room had nice decor. Breakfast was great! ham, cheese, croissant, jams, eggs, bacon, coffee, yogurt, breads...

Good location NOT so close to main attractions, service just enough for a 3 star hotel, breakfast adequate and on time, the kind of service just expect from this category of budget hotel, a little overprice on my opinion. But in general I will come back again. The lift definitively needs cosmetic maintenance.

Very Nice hotel, nice location, very close to shopes and restrants, 10 min walk from mail train station and helpful. 10 meters only to the metro station.

On the plus side, the hotel is close to the metro and its easy to get to the main sights. The room I stayed in was literlly the smallest room I have ever slept in, in my entire life! I was there for a business trip and just needed a place to sleep, but I would not reccomend this place for a leisure break. It feels more like a hostel then a hotel. If you like a hotel thats got a bar and a lounge you can relax in then forget this place, there is barely enough room to swing a cat in the tiny foyer. The breakfast was quite good and the staff quite friendly but I'm not rushing to book it again.

There seem to be quiet a few negative reviews of this hotel leaving me think that I may have stayed in a completely different place. Ignore them. I had no problem with the hotel or it's staff. I stayed in room 22 and it was perfect. The double bed was comfortable, the room was neat and tidy. The room had a TV. There was a big window which I could open fully. At night there was no traffic to keep me awake. The bathroom had a shower and was it clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good. I am a light eater so although the breakfast was basic, it was enough for me. What do you expect from a 3 star hotel? 5 Star breakfast?? ?? The staff were extremely friendly, polite and spoke English. They even let me leave my luggage at reception for 6 hours after checking out at noon. Location wise, the hotel is central to town square - about 5-10 minutes walk. All this has left me thinking what all the negative reviews are all about?? If you are looking for a budget hotel in central Brussels, this is the place for you. I would recommend this hotel to my friends!!!

A very nice setting with the Metro just yards away. The room was not air conditioned but the windows opened to allow in the cool Belgium air. The traffic noise hung in the balance with the need for some air. The sink did not drain and the tub did only very slowly, but these were minor issues given the over all comfort, cleaniness, and decor of a very nice room. Yes, I will stay here again!

is not a 3 star hotel, you'll fell on a 4 star hotel :o), the location is perfect!! walking distance to all major locations, the metro station is 10 seconds away from the hotel, but you don't really need to take it unless to go to the airport or attractions outside the city, the service was perfect, the room clean and comfortable and the food ( breakfast buffet )was better than some of the 5 star hotels I had stayed on in the past, me and my husband were looking forward to breakfast every morning :o) i would stay there anytime :o)

The Hotel Chambord is what I expect for a 3 star European Hotel. I was happy with the modern look, and the breakfast. The employee's were very helpful. They had a nice little happy hour bar too. The room we nice, although small, but for the price it was a steal. You could have upgraded to a larger room for a little more. Overall though, i'd recommend it. Took the subway and walked everywhere. Hotel is in a decent location, easy to walk around and see the main attractions.

The hotel is easily accessible by road and metro and centrally located. It offers a breakfast buffet that offers reasonable variety. The rooms are very small, mine had no view to the outside, (I looked against a wall so no daylight entering). This is not an issue when spending your time shopping, but is a pity in summer with longer days...There are other rooms that have a view to the street I would imagine, so ask for those! The hotel room is clean, has a single bed only for alone travellers, but mattrass is comfortable, desk available, good reading light and a small, but well furnished bathroom. I could not detect a safety deposit box in the room, but it could be that a central place is available for valuables, I simply did not ask. Wifi connection is available, it is excellent, though, as very often the case, pricy (I purchased mine at 5 Euros an hour). Staff is always ready available and answer all queries without problem. Check in and out are very quick... Price is high compared to size room, but then Brussels is expensive and staff made up with friendliness that sometimes is less evident in other Brussels hotels.

Accueil très agréable.Chambre propre avec toutes les commodités pour accueillir 2 adultes et un enfant.Toutefois,éclairage un peu sombre dans la chambre.Petit déjeuner varié et copieux, avec des spécialitées régionales.Il manquerait peut etre une salade de fruits. Hotel bien situé à 15 minutes à pieds du centre historique, au pied d'une station de métro, trés commode pour ceux qui viennent par le train, visiter Bruxelles.

Hôtel bien situé. Chambre propre et confortable. Salle de bain un peu petite. Petit déjeuner buffet agréable et varié. Manque juste quelques fruits frais. Adresse à retenir pour un prochain séjour car l'essentiel est là et l'accueil est très sympa.

Dieses Hotel liegt in einer guten Lage ca. 5 Min. zu Fuß in die Altstadt. Metrostation direkt vor dem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und man hört nichts von den Nebenzimmern. Frühstück ist OK.

L'hotel si trova in una buona posizione rispetto al centro città e vicinissimo alla metro. La camera assegnataci era spaziosa e accogliente sebbene, purtroppo, la pulizia si é rivelata carente... La colazione invece era varia e abbondante, servita in una bella sala.

L'hôtel Chambord est relativement bien situé : station de métro juste en bas, ligne de tramway à 5 min et relativement proche du coeur de la ville. Ceci dit, méfiez-vous, Bruxelles n'est pas une ville plate ! Prenez de bonnes chaussures. L'ascenseur fait un peu peur (tout petit) mais quand on est au 6e étage, pas trop le choix... On a eu la surprise quand on est arrivé à notre étage de voir du scotch bleu le long des murs du couloir... La peinture a du être refaite récemment mais quand on voit le scotch bleu qui se décolle sur un mur beige... ça fait un peu négligé. Chambre très confortable, surchauffée (pensez à baisser les radiateurs) équipée d'une télé qui diffuse une grande variété de chaînes européennes. Salle de bain très bien équipée au design moderne. Petit déjeuner excellent !! J'y retournerai avec plaisir !
