This is our 2nd time staying here. Love the proximity and convenience for what we had to do. We are trying to get our son settled here for law school.

Great location and out of the hustle and bustle of downtown DC. Only a block away from a unbusy Metro stop and a quick 15 minute trip to the main sites. Rooms were quite and very well maintained. Was upgraded to the next size room simply by asking. Breakfasts were very nice and had no problem finding seats for family of four. Didn't use the pool or hot tub located on the second floor but it looked well maintained and clean. Stocked kitchen in the room a plus and a large 24 hr grocery store was only a couple blocks away Several nice restuarants nearby (Chevys/Mexican) and nice selection of fast food options in Pentagon City Mall food court. Great stay and would definitely use this hotel again.

This was a great place to stay.. My girlfriend and I went to DC for 3 nights and the Residence Inn just made our stay better. Parking was convenient at the hotel, full kitchen and bath, spacious room for the price - overall a great stay! Would definitely stay here again on my next visit down.

Excellent and beautiful room. Will stay there for all my Washington trips.

The Ethopian lady at the desk and Miriam at the desk and the manager were excellent! There was also a lady at the desk by the name of Martha who was not attentive to guest needs or concerns.

We only stayed one night, but our stay was good. Front desk attendant updated our room without us asking upon check-in. That's true customer service...

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent and very helpful as/when needed. This hotel is located close to the Pentagon City Metro location (about a block) and is also near the Fashion Mall and a CVS which is nice for food or shopping options. The view from our room was over the Pentagon and toward Arlington Natnl Cemetery. From the metro access to the tourist areas (Arlington Cemetery, Smithsonian Museums, National Mall, etc) are only a few minutes away along the Blue or Yellow lines. The Metro is dated but otherwise felt safe and as a result we never moved our car from the garage. We look forward to returning to DC in the future and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is in a great spot with a metro station and a huge shopping mall within very easy walking distance. Outstanding free breakfast. Great place to stay to see the DC area.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The suite was excellent and a great place to stay when visiting the Washington DC Area. The Breakfast Buffet each day was super. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only concern was that Hotels.com rep on the phone said the evening social was offered each day. However when we arrived we were told it was only held Monday through Thursday. We were there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This was one of the reasons we chose the Hotel in the first place. Other than the misinformation, the Hotel is excellent.

Close to all you might wish to do

Plan to eat at the Pentagon mess. The hotel has no food service, and the nearest restaurant is a half mile hike. The staff is friendly and not at all helpful.

Big, clean room and very convenient to the Metro. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Clean spacious and right off the highway. 15 minutes to dc by car and breakfast included as well as free wifi. We had are own kitchen and were able to cook in too.

I stayed here on business and was joined by my family for the tail end of the booking. There are a few adjustments this hotel needs to make. One, is the breakfast area either needs to be enlarged to accommodate more people, charge for breakfast, or stop serving breakfast. Finding a place to sit was an absolute free-for-all. If you did not keep a member of your party at a table, someone else would come and take it. The breakfast itself was nice if you could get any since the kitchen had a difficult time keeping up with cleaning silverware/plates. The breakfast serving time itself needs to start earlier as well. The second adjustment concerns the fitness center which is only open from 10am to 10pm and tends to be around when I need to be ready for the day and way before I get back from my work day. The hotel advertises the renovated fitness center which is fine but not worth their time and money if no one can use it. The room was nice, typical Residence Inn fair, and they let me park my truck for free for an extra day. Other than that I was not impressed and will not stay here again.

I traveled with my baby and my father. The kitchen in room is really convenient during the stay, especially for parents traveling with kids. The location is also very convenient: grocery and metro station are within 10 minutes walk; the national mall and dca airport are 2 metro stops away. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. Staff in hotel is helpful and hospitable. We really enjoyed staying there.

Although nominally a business hotel, the convenience of the location for access to DC makes it a great place to stay for a vacation too. The staff are welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast choice is extensive. We had a view of the Pentagon and the Washington Monument from our bedroom window, which was great. Next time I'm in Washington, I'll definitely be gong back here!

Love the location right near Pentagon City mall and metro stop. The hotel was very nice but was disappointed the fitness room was closed for renovation or I might have stayed elsewhere. They did offer a pass to LA Fitness which was a nice club, about a 10 minute walk. Unfortunately was there during spring break so the breakfast area was packed with families and kids, no place to sit and no trays to carry breakfast back to the room. Also don't like there is no service elevator. So you wait for a long time for an elevator to find it arrives full of linen carts and housekeeping staff. The room was nice, clean, and very quiet which is the most important thing. Kitchenette was also nice, but not sure why these hotels don't have safes in them. Indoor pool and hot tub were nice. I would stay here again, but not during peak tourist seasons.

If you ever want to race the Marine Corp Marathon this is a very idea location. It's stones' throw from the Pentagon, which is where the morning athletes village is. The hotel offers a shuttle service for one square mile and there are a number of restaurants in that radius. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful, too. Rooms were extremely clean and comfortable.

My family and I rode out Hurricane Sandy during our stay at this hotel and the folks at Residence Inn kept us safe, fed and entertained. Each and every staff member was exceptionally friendly, helpful and professional. I've done a lot of traveling in my six decades but I can honestly say that I've never had a better hotel experience than at this Residence Inn.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The room was very nice and clean. I was especially pleased with the front desk service. The person who checked me in couldn't have been nicer. The only thing I would recommend is a book in the room that list the local restaurants. I was not able to find one. The only thing I could find was a menu for a pizza shop, and the pizza wasn't that great. I would definitely stay there again!

I was very happy with our short visit. Everyone was very helpful!!

It was very good and the only thing that I think that was too high was the price of parking...when I maked the reservation the price was $17.00 and I was charge $23.00 a day.(?)

Terrific room with lots of space, kitchenette and large sofa/ relaxation area. Hotel included breakfast which was very good (decent buffet) as well as great shuttle service to metro, pentagon city mall. Great service, very friendly staff, who were very helpful. Highly recommend to families and singles who like a large room in a great location. Metro service gets you to downtown DC in 15 mins and to the Nationals ballpark in 20 mins. Loved it!

I think this is the nicest Residence Inn we have stayed in. My daughter lives nearby and we will definitely be staying here again. Staff was extremely nice. Love the location and neighborhood and the price cannot be beat. The only downsides: tv channels did not all work which seems to be a standard Residence Inn problem and the bathroom/vanity is so close to the bed that when someone gets up to shower or use the restroom, the other person will definitely awaken. The layout is very odd. The room was very large but the bathroom tiny. Also wish breakfast could go just a little later on the weekend nut this is standard of all hotels. $14 parking which may seem high bit is reasonable for the area. Overall, very pleased

We stayed two nights and we were very pleased with the service and location of the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the employees were very efficient and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends while visiting Arlington and Washington.

The location was cool, convenient to the Metro and shopping. The complementary breakfast was a plus, although somewhat overcrowded and messy Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the television reception wasn't good, and we actually had to call for help because the remote control battery was low. After a day of marching on Washington, it would have been great if the pool had been open later. Finally, when we reserved a suite, we expected separate rooms...having the kitchen and sitting area was great, but not adequate if one of us wanted to sleep and the other watch TV.

Pleasant staff and clean, comfortable rooms will enable me to recommend to friends/family. I will also return to this hotel whenever I am in Washington.

Perfect location and great ambiance.

This was great family hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The room was big and nicely arranged. I was disappointed that the hot tub was broken. The hotel was a bout 2 blocks from the metro and lots of shopping and restaurants.

Staff great. Many different members helped with a variety of concerns and needs. All met. Terrific. Excellent value and enjoyed the space. Did not really need a suite but a very nice space.

Very well maintained, clean suites. had a full kitchen and comfy suite. Staff was very hospitable. Will definitely stay in this hotel again
