Pleasant service, good hotel, well located

What more can we say? Will definitely use the hotel again.

Parking is rather expensive!

Nice stay. Nice sauna. There's no gym unfortunately. You'll have to reenter the password for WiFi every now and then which might be annoying.

Was in Helsinki for a weekend, nice hotel close to center. Good rooms and fine service. Breakfast was ok and normal radisson Nordic standard. Only complaint was the service in the restaurant, where the staff forgot us after the order was given.

I spent 2 nights in this hotel after reading reviews on other posts of conveniences in city centre and businesslike facilitlies. On the last day before checking out from the hotel, while having breakfast in the buffet restaurant, my handbag was stolen. My sister and I were both seated and looking out for each other's belonging. When I realised that my bag is not with me I quickly reported to the hotel reception. What I can say is, the hotel security is insufficient. Why? because for 2 days when we have our breakfast in the restaurant, not one staff stop us to enquire our room number or name when we entered the breakfast room. There were lots of people and movements in the hotel lobby and restaurants. My experience in other hotels such as this, the wait staff would have approached us at the door and enquire our room number and name. This has not been done in Radisson hotel. In other words, any Tom, Dick or Harry can enter and eat or steal in the breakfast room with ease. Needless to say, I will not stay in this hotel ever again.

Great location for public transport; fab bed in very nice room; very helpful reception; breakfasts excellent if you can avoid the tour party bun-fight timing- otherwise very crowded and noisy breakfast room; evening dining in hotel restaurant very disappointing lack of seating service; Overall would use this hotel again

Overall, the Radisson Blu in Helsinki is very good. Breakfast buffet was complete and good quality. The shower was excellent! My only concern was that the bed should have been a queen size and it was actually two twins and that the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. I should have sadi something while I was there because I am sure the staff would have rectified it. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. I would definitely return to the hotel.

Good location for transport connections and city centre. The triple glazing works well for noise reduction. Clean, comfortable room although, personally, I hate duvets. Good breakfast buffet with ample choice and quantity, but the hot food needs to be hotter. The hotel really needs a queing line for check-in/out ---- check-out was a little stressful. Overall, a very good choice for our stay.

Before i begin i just want to say this hotel was fantastic. And i would recommend it to anyone hands down. First, the location is great close to local animenities like restaurants shops and local transit, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel as well as the subway entrance is nearby. Not to mention its only a few stops to some nearby local bars. Also its only a 20MIN WALK to the train station. Where u can get the bus to the airport. Its about a 45min to 1hr ride. Second, i found th staff to b quite vcourteous, helpful and friendly. Whenever i had a request or question they were more than happy to help. The room was always done. And they gave u the option to either get a new towel or use the same one( environmentally friendly). The room was also very comfortable and spacious. The lighting appropriate and more than adequate. Not to mention the lighting switches were reachable and effectively placed. The bed provided a good nights sleep and was very comfortable. Similar to a temperpedic bed. Thirdly, they have the best breakfast buffet in town. So many options to choose from. Various types of cereals, breads, gluten-free alternatives as well as fruits, juices, and meats. If i ever go back to finland, i wouldn't think twice about booking this hotel again. Great service, great room, great room, great stay

We walked from the Ferry port to here (about 1.5k or 25 mins) and were welcomed by lovely service. Unfortunately they gave us a single room over a double due to a room switch and we promptly went down to explain. We were instantly upgraded to the Business Suite sporting King Size bed and the full works. Fantastic room and a real shame we were only there for one night. Breakfast was fantastic also!! Highly recommend!

Great weekend prices for this business hotel. Get the white chocolate ice cream at the bar / restaurant.

My friends and I spent 3 nights in the Radisson Royal Blu Hotel in Helsinki. We had a very pleasant stay. I have no complaints about any aspect of our stay. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and approachable. The location of the hotel was ideal with a 5-7 minute walk to the city centre. I would stay here again.

The hotel is ok, it just needs a renovation looks like it hasnt been updated since the 80's

The staff at front desk were superb in assisting us through language, telephone and bureaucy barriers when unexpected events caused a sudden change in our travel plans. We were able to stay on some extra days in our very comfortable room while problems were sorted and we felt secure there, thanks to the supportive attitude of the staff concerned. It was easy to catch the tram nearby and to use the city's tram system to get to the main places of interest.

Excellent hotel, very nice breakfast, which was generally the most substantial meal of the day due to prices in Helsinki restaraunts. Minor quibble was paper cups instead of mugs in tea and coffee making kit in room even though there were loads of spare mugs in the breakfast room.

The room was big, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom had heated floors. The free breakfast buffet was amazing! The hotel is ideally located in the city center near public transportation. In fact, we got to see most of the major sights around Helsinki just by travelling on foot. I got a great 20% off deal on the hotel by booking a few weeks in advance, so the price ended up being ridiculously reasonable for how nice this hotel is. Couldn't be happier!

I have stayed at Radisson Blu Royal hotel over the years for several times when visiting Helsinki. The hotels location is very convenient and central like most of the good hotels in Helsinki. I usually choose to upgrade in business class rooms as they offer few extras with not much cost. The hotel is typically Nordic and run with effiency.The staff are pleasant although they do employ nowadays quite a lot foreign staff who dont speak hardly no finnish and their understanding of english is very limited so may have to go to extra effort to explain if you want something! The check-in/out is very quick and if you need any advise from reception staff they are there to help. Only negative thing for me was the cleaning of the room.Although it was done daily i felt it was rushed and lacking of finishing touches.I do they pick on these small but important issues as it is a overall very pleasant place to stay in Helsinki.

We were very pleased with the hotel it was run by a pleasant and happy staff. We would definately return next year,

The check in process took 5 minutes. Location was good next to a large shopping centre and small convenience store for cheap bottles of water etc. 8 minute walk down hill to the hub of Helskini- the market place adjacent to the habour. Free WiFi interenet speed was very good even though the hotel was very busy. Hotel gave us a late check out without fuss and the staff were all friendly.

Very good location, excellent breakfast, sauna and servis. Real 4 stars good city hotel.

Because of a cantankerous taxi driver in St Petersburg who delibertately gave us the complete run around, we missed our train to Helsinki and consequently our connections north to Kemi. We did not reach the hotel until nearly midnight and had to leave 6.30 next day. Being able to access this hotel via email at very short notice was very good for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we booked in and booked out. Their assistance and the quality of the hotel would lead us to recommend it to others

Outstanding service from reception and bar staff. Room was very modern, well appointed and the beds very comfortable. Location is ideal - just a 10 minute walk from the harbour and less to the train station. Would definitely stay there again.

Rooms are reasonably newly modern and very comfortable and quiet. Fantastic buffet-style breakfast - everything from eggs, sausage, roast potatoes to smoked salmon, meats, cheeses. Staff very friendly, and late check out wasn't a problem. The only down sides were that their special foam matress beds were waaaay too soft for our liking and the extracter fan in our bathroom didn't seem to work.

Great hotel - very clean room, great breakfast, excellent location, good value for money (booked a 'hot deal' many months in advance). Would definitely recommend.

Spacious, Clean, confertable bed, breakfast from 6:30. The hotel is very convenient for leisure and business.

Close to metro that is one stop from central station- lovely hotel and staff

Little more pricey than some of the Helsinki hotels, but the room was a good size and the hotel had amenities you would expect to find in your standard Western hotel. One gripe was the price for doing laundry. Cost me 109 Euros to have some basic things washed! Yikes.

Good location near a large shopping mall. Great children's play area that kept my son occupied for many hours.

My girlfriend and I have just come back from a long weekend break in Helsinki and stopped at this hotel....which is brilliant. The staff are really helpful, the hotel has two bikes which can be hired out for free, there are free maps at reception. The breakfast was excellent. The room was superbly designed with some very nice touches - underfloor heating in the bathroom, LED lights above the bed, large plasma TV and a UK plug socket. Hotel helped us have a great weekend break in Helsinki, definitely reccommeded.

Hotel is reasonable value but a beefburger and chips cost £15 - maybe this is just Finland, but it felt very expensive. A good supermarket across the road supplied our next evening meal - rolls and cheese! Convenient for trams, buses and Metro. A 15 minute uphill walk from main station.

Отлично провели выходные семьей. Хорошо, что попросили поменять номер из- за маленькой площади, вообще не оставалось места с доп. Кроватью для сына. Дали номер в другом корпусе ( для конференций), более просторный и окна не на улицу. Удобно, что интернет беспроводной везде бесплатный, завтрак разнообразный, качественная и свежая еда. Ужинали однажды в ресторане отеля, отменный стейк и оленина. Обедали в ресторане барбекю на площади( если выйти на улицу из двери ресторана и пройти метров 500) , рядом с греческим рестораном. Рекомендую!

Много раз были в Финляндии, но ни разу не пришлось побывать в Хельсинки. Отель выбрали по интернету. Понравился номер, обслуживание, вежливый персонал. Очень удобное расположение отеля. Есть парковка. К минусам можно отнести: не очень чистое паласное покрытие в номере, плохо открывался номер электронным ключом. Шведский стол разнообразен, столы сервируются быстро, однако блюда, которые должны быть горячими - чуть теплые.
