Older hotel but clean. Surrounding neighborhood a little shady. Locals say this part of town isn't the best - probably due to proximity of I-5. Room was very clean and comfortable and for the price plenty nice if intention isn't too spend a lot of time in the room. Lighting in the bathroom was a little annoying - not bright enough. Very friendly desk staff and accommodating. Didn't take advantage of free continental breakfast due to time. Looked good though.

This was a very basic budget-friendly motel. The staff was great. The bathroom lock didn't work and we had some trouble with our key cards. Otherwise, the motel was clean and met our needs.

The location was very convienient to the WWU campus. The staff was very helpfuf and courteous. The room was large and was as comfortable would be expected within this price range. I will stay here again.

My girlfriend & I needed to get away from her adult children. We needed an area where we could walk around or be comfy, cosy in the room and do nothing but watch television. Everything in the room was comfortable, warm, and relaxing.

Use this hotel frequently on overnight trips through Bellingham. Clean and good value.

The room needs updating and the bathroom needs a steam cleaning. The towels were worn out and the shower stall was filthy.

Comfortable beds, decent continental breakfast, convenient, quiet location for travel on I-5.

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I can't say enough good things about the staff! They are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The continental breakfast was always stocked with lots of variety. The room had all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. The hotel is close to many restaurants and is in a nice location. Great value, great service - thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back. One word of caution for light sleepers - to sleep soundly, do bring earplugs (I bring mine everywhere)!.

We stayed overnight on our way from Vancouver BC to Portland. The hotel is super clean. The beds were comfortable with tons of pillows. The room had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine, which was very handy. My partner and I hung out in the breakfast/lounge areas in the am, enjoying coffee etc, watching TV and reading magazines. Very pleasant. For breakfast they had muffins, cereal, bagels, boiled eggs, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, tea, juice etc. I am a healthy eater, so I was able to enjoy fruit and a couple of boiled eggs. This isn't a high end hotel, but very comfortable, clean and very friendly helpful staff.

Ok But we were surprised that the maid didn't make the beds or empty the garbage

too far from the airport. I found the room clean but it does need some upgrading

Booked a room with 2 queen beds. When I called to say I would be checking in late I was told the room would be a King and a roll-away as there were no rooms with 2 queens left. Since it was too late to book anything else we went with it but it wasn't what I wanted or paid for! Also, not really knowing the area this was booked because my daughter had an early flight out of Bellingham airport. There are definitely closer hotels!

The hotel and room itself were great. The room was very clean and they bumped us up to an executive suite which was nice a big. However, the air conditioning in our room, and apparently other rooms, was broken. We didn't find out until we were trying to go to sleep and were freezing to death. The beds didn't have comforters either. My friend eventually went down to the desk once it was clear our thermostat wasn't doing anything, and they gave us additional blankets. So nice staff and service, but our stay was pretty miserable.

We paid only $64 a night for a place to rest while we skiied at Mount Baker. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was basic (Cereal, toast, pastries).They really should replace their carpet. Although clean, it is worn and has that old carpet smell. Also, lots of dings and marks on the walls in halls and rooms - things that could easily be fixed and improve the overall impression.

discriminating wife liked the bed. Maintenance fixed a couple of minor furniture issues instantly. They were out of little shampoos, but we always carry some in our luggage...

The hotel advertised that they'd provide free WiFi internet service and the front desk lady said that no password was needed. There was NO internet service. If you're a senior, please not the hotel has NO elevator. The house next to the hotel had domestic issues as the couple argued loudly. I will not stay here again. The only positive thing about this hotel is the smile of the morning staff.

Staff was friendly, Rooms were quiet even being there new years eve. rooms clean. Had a playpen for us. Would stay again.

OK hotel for the price. It is an older hotel, but the rooms were clean. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room, so it was satisfactory for our needs. If you want all the bells and whitles, this would not be the hotel for you. If you just need a nice place to sleep, it will work.

Adequate hotel, not close to airport. Cont. Breaf. was good. Morning staff was very pleasant.

Above average room. Hotel from outside not so nice. Decent lobby area. Thin walls and noisy

Just a decent, clean place with free wifi and free (very basic) breakfast. A reasonably priced place to rest your head, but that's about it. There are no fancy hotels in Bellingham, but this place is reasonably priced and clean enough. There are no movies available in the hotel room.

We stayed here while visiting my brother at WWU. This was one of the most inexpensive hotels with the highest ratings. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The attendants were friendly. The continental breakfast was decent but nothing special. Its not a Double Tree or anything, but your definitely not paying Double Tree price. If your on a budget and want a decent, comfortable, clean room, then this place is for you.

For the long Thanksgiving drive - we used this place to stay so we could enjoy the visit/dinner with family. Nice location, ok rooms, cold continental breakfast, friendly staff at the desk, but the place itself could use a deep cleaning. We will use Days Inn again as the price, location, and such meet our needs.

Hotel hallways look worn and badly need upgrading but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Good breakfast bar selection.

We were looking for an inexpensive room for one night and for what we paid, we were satisfied with the room. The bed was comfortable and it was really nice - as the parents of a new baby - to have the microwave and the fridge in the room. That's not an amenity you often see in a budget hotel. The service at the front desk was very good, we were checked in quickly and our requests were accommodated. The hotel itself seemed a little run down. It's an older building and you can see evidence of that in the hallways and the plumbing fixtures, The carpet was worn and the shower gave cold water for about 15 seconds every 2 minutes. The room was very clean. Overall, we got exactly what we were looking for - an inexpensive place to sleep for a night. As long as the bed is comfortable and the room is clean, we're happy. This hotel met our standards in those regards. I would stay here again.

A room for 5 people but a toilet that did not work properly. Breakfast was good but ate standing up or sitting on the floor because the people at the tables were finished eating but sat there the whole time visiting. Perhaps this can be changed for those who are eating.

The guest room itself was beautiful. The Hotel outside was not very appealing. We were greeted by a young girl in jeans and a t- shirt who did not appear to have much knowledge. The hall carpets were dirty and there was an odor that I can't describe. In the morning there were 2 clerks at the front wearing slacks and company shirts bearing the Day' Inn logo. Which was nice. The Deluxe Contintental Breakfast consisted of bagels, muffins, toast, cereal and boiled eggs with the shells removed - that's unsanitary to me. Do not think I will ever stay there again. It it was that guest room in a different hotel I would have been very pleased.

This hotel is a great option for those who don't crave luxuries and want a reasonably priced room. I checked in at 10 p.m. And there were teenagers loose in the hall giggling and making noise. The desk ckerk helped me with my stuff and to.d the kids to quiet down. Never heard another peep that night. I stayed four nights and had no complaints. The back side of the hotel faces some apartments, but they weren't too noisy. Breakfast consisted of muffins, fruit, toast and bagels and pre-made waffles and hard boiled eggs. Would stay there again if I return to Bellingham.

10 mins from the airport. Many places to eat close by. Older motel with basic motel amenities. You get what you pay for with this spot but it suited our purpose and was cheap.

I stayed here ten nights as I was visiting my ailing dad who lives in Bellingham. My ground floor room was the most convenient to the breakfast area (and too close to the vending machine! I visited that more than I should have!) The breakfast provided offers lots of variety. The only item missing that I would have liked are those little yogurt containers. The meals at the Thai restaurant just steps away next door are absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. The laundry and cleaning supplies area was right by my room, and I wasn't impressed with how dirty that floor area is. It would only take a very short while to run a vacuum over that once in a while. So that view upon exiting each day was pretty disgusting. Occasionally, I would hear people walking over my head, but the noise only lasted a short time. It's definitely not the Ritz, but it sufficed as a practical option for what I was doing. And it's conveniently located close to the I5 and not far from the downtown. I would stay again.

There was some stains on one of the beds and overall cleanliness of the room was not up to standards. The staff was polite and helpful. A little scary the back parking lot. A 3 at the best.

This hotel was in a very convenient location, but that could be said for just about any hotel along Samish way in Bellingham. Our room must have been situated right above the laundry room as it was uncomfortably warm at all hours of the day and night. We had to crank the AC and keep the bathroom fan on to try to cancel it out. Other than that, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was decent and it was fairly quiet. There is no hot tub or fitness center at this location despite what the listing says but there is a small outdoor pool. All in all, it was a nice place to stay for a low price.

Not bad I thought it was weird that the pool is in front.
