Una Hotel Century - ميلا

This hotel was just two short blocks from the Central Train station. We also thought the breakfast was great. Would highly recommend the hotel. The room was very spacious with living area and bedroom. Internet is available but keep in mind they charge for the access by the hour.

The Good: The staff was super helpful. They gave us lots of info and pointed us to a tasty restaurant right around the corner. The hotel is just 4 direct metro stops from the duomo so it was easy to get around. Parking at the hotel garage was 24 euro. The room was big and had a pull-out wall to divide the living room from the bedroom. The Bad: The beds were hard. I tried the sofa bed where our sons slept too and that was a little softer than the king sized bed my husband and I shared.

This is a very efficient and well run hotel. It is comfortable and convenient. The staff is fabulous, available when needed, and professional. We were very pleased with our stay.

We found the hotel to be very comfortable and excellent value for money especially when you include the full breakfast with very good selection.

Hotel room was 80s style. Just like James Bond style. Room service offers you expensive and low quality food for example frozen pizza heaten! Breakfast was ok. Hotel is near the railway station

Stayed one night at this Una Hotel. Chose it because it was within walking distance of the Milan Central station, about a 5-10 min walk. Hard to find, though, hidden off the street (Via Fabbio Filzi). Imagine it would be very hard to find in the dark, so make sure you do this in daylight! Have stayed in other Una Hotels before (Una Cusani near Duomo in Milan is fabulous!), this one was just OK. Had to move rooms because the first room's AC was not working well, and the room smelled of smoke, staff was however very accommodating and nice. Also the staff gave us a good map and oriented us to major sightseeing landmarks, which was nice. Note that only one floor (17) is non-smoking, so make sure you ask! Room was plenty clean and bathroom was actually very nice. Breakfast buffet was mediocre. Good hotel if you need to stay near train station but don't want to spend alot of money.

We arrived at 12 mid day and were able to go straight to our room, reception actually changed our room to allow this without us even asking, as we were so early we were quite prepared to just leave our bags in a safe room. The hotel is very convenient for the mainline station - we made excursions to Como and Bergamo very easily, and also for the Metro and tram - just 4 metro stops from Duomo. There are several restaurants in the area - we went to Pane e Tulipani about 2 minutes away in Via fabio Filzi. There is a small but well stocked supermarket about 3 minutes from the hotel (Punto La Coloniale) if you need water etc. also in Via Fabio Filzi. If you leave the hotel by the back entrance and turn left there are several restaurants once you have crossed Via Pirelli - including Japanese and Chinese!! I would recommend this hotel to friends visiting Milan for a short break though possibly not for a longer holiday.

It is not easy to find the entrance of the Hotel, in particular for first timer to Milano. However, the location of the hotel is good in terms of public transport connectivity. The service standard could be improved if there is free WiFi service in a common area, like lobby; upgrade the TV set as well as some of the furnitures in room. Overall, will recommend the hotel to others. ,

Location is perfect. The room doesn't have fancy decoration or amenities. But that's enough for me.

Well situated within walking distance of the hop-on hop-off; right near the central train/bus station. Friendly and helpful staff. Some say hard to find, but not us. The neighborhood is just fine, although other reviewers say it is not - they are wrong. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and clean rooms.

Located just a short walk from the central train station. You can take the Metro (subway) a few stops to Duomo and the downtown (too long to walk). From the train station there are frequent buses to the airports. A nice, clean, modern hotel. Two complaints: my room was way overheated. But they sent someone right away to adjust the heat and recommended I also open a window. Second complaint is that they charge a lot for wi-fi access.

Close to Milano Centrale but be advised the entrance is up a side street off the Main Rd.. Check in was efficent and informative, a very polite gentleman at reception. Breakfast was buffet style , it was well stocked with everything you would expect for a continental breakfast , the coffee was great.

Good Location, helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfeast. Clean spacious rooms

Staff members are up to the standard, but lack of friendlyness. The room is spacious, but old. Access to public tansport is good, but shops are not close by. Breakfast is very good, and the staff members are very attantive. Overall, a good place to stay if you do not mind the room is a bit old.

Una hotel is only 5 mins walk from the Termini metro, very convenience, fair price. i stayed at junior suite, it's really big, clean, tidy & neat, nice breakfast. The only cons is they do not provide free wifi in room nor lobby. Will definitely stay in Una again!

I stayed with my family in 3 rooms in this hotel in December 2011. Almost everything was fine--the rooms are surprisingly large and comfortable, breakfast is good--except that for a 4-star hotel, furniture and other items are a bit tattered. E.g., the beside lamps had all left burn marks on the wooden walls. But all in all, a very good place to stay, good value.

We had a comfortable stay with Una Hotel Century. We booked two rooms, one for my husband and I ,and another for my children. We were given Junior suites on the 3rd floor which were pleasantly spacious, quiet and clean. The location of the hotel is convenient- within walking distance from the main train station. One note though, the hotel is situated at a quiet area in between office buildings, away from the main road. It was quite scary go back at night because the road and entrance towards the hotel was normally empty after 9pm onwards. Overall, the hotel is worth staying. My children enjoyed their stay there. We stayed a total of 4 nights ;)

Very convenient located, restaurant was closed for 2 weeks but cafe was still opened. wifi was expensive and other service is ok. Price is reasonable.

hotel is conveniently located though the main entrance was a bit discrete. it took sometime to locate the hotel. an overall comfortable business hotel with an excellent breakfast in continental european style.

Room is big; location is not easy to find since it is behind a big building. however, only one street car stop to train station.

Walking distance from Centrale Stazione, which makes it ideal for no-car travellers. Some homeless ppl constantly congregating around the hotel, but it's securely gated. Nice hotel, but it's more like 3 stars than 4.

The hotel is located close to Central Station (5 min walk) which is perfect to get coach to and from airports. The service was pleasant. Pizza that I ordered at night was very poor, and delivered late. Overall ambience was nice, the room was clean and spacious. The main problem I had was that the mattress was very lumpy and soft. I would recommend this hotel, just check that the mattress before sleeping.

Overall, the hotel location and the condition of room was within expectation. Important point to know, there were no stalls/ outlets to buy water or take away food nearby. However the service staff were at times unfriendly. Can it be due to language barrier? Also as a 'business' hotel they didn't have the basic facilities like free wi-fi and business centre, computer desktop facility is outdated. Which is surprising, as we had great free wifi and desktop at all 3 to 4 star hotels in rome, venice and florence.

This hotel is quited dated. Although it does provide items like slippers and bathrobes on request, on stepping into the room, it feels much more like a 3star hotel. On the positive side, it is quite spacious and I am quite impressed by the quality of bed comfort. Do ask for the type of pillow you prefer, they are quite obliging to provide. Don't be excited by the breakfast though. It is just good enough for a quick simple bite.

The hotel was hard to find - especially at night - it is inside of a group of buildings and it was all locked up at night. We luckily found a security guard in the building next door who told us how to get a hold of the front desk.

Nice hotel at a very convenient location near the station. Not pricey. Just 3 miles from the attraction. Very spacious room. Only minus would be their TV. Though the hotel looked modern, they still have a 21 inch CRT TV in the room! Not that we stayed all day in the room and watched the TV, it atleast doesnt go well with the ambience. Front desk can be little bit more friendly.

This is one of the absolute BEST hotels I have ever stayed at.. The front desk staff went so far above their duties to ensure our stay was pleasant, safe and enjoyable that after a two week cruise and trip to Venice that we returned once again and stayed another week with them.. Also Daniela in the breakfast room I would hire if she would relocate to Florida..

They could re-paint the walls and repair some tiny things, but generally it's a very good 4 star hotel. The rooms have plenty of space, perfect for our baby to crawl around. The carpet is at least 10 years old, but looks clean. The hair dryer is a joke and the shower head is fixed at the wall. The hotel is hidden in a area of tall houses, but a huge signboard makes it impossible to miss it. In the nights you have to ring to get in this area. If we ever go again, this will be our hotel.

Clean hotel with excellent location to central train station. Many good restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Good for a business stop.

Una was well located and a very nice stay. Probably a bit more expensive, but we really enjoyed our stay.

Every thing is fine except that it is hard to find the hotel entrance.

Hotel Una is well-located for anyone who has to use the Centrale Station, which is only about a five minute walk from the hotel. We had some trouble finding it, because it's set back from the street. Once we located it, though, it was clean and ideal.

The staff from Reception to table to bar and cleaning staff were polite, helpful, efficient and excellent. The room was good and spacious. The only thing that lets the hotel down is the very tired furnishings in the downstairs common areas, particularly the sofa/seats in the lounge which are tired, old and very worn out (stuffing coming out of the cushions). Also a coat of paint would smarten up a number of areas.

Very convenient to train station and public transit. Typical high rise hotel with very large and nicely appointed room. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Generous if uninspired breakfast, pastries commercial for Italy and instant cappucino just isn't the same. Internet connection should be free but rates weren't too bad.

Comfort wise, location wise, Una Hotel Century is very good, and I would recommend to my friends visiting Milan. However, there is only one thing that would greatly improve my experience there and that is if free wifi can be provided in the rooms or in the public area like the restaurant and lobby area. It charges too high for wifi connection.

The hotel looks like it was probably a decent place in 1995, but hasn't been maintained given the style of the design. It's not a bad place, but definitely not a good place. Then there is getting your bags from the street to the hotel, which is a bit of a walk between some buildings...

Our recent stay in the Una hotel was a pleasant stop before our return to New York. Having spent nearly 2 weeks in Italy, we needed a one-night stay in Milan prior to our return flight to NY. The non-smoking, 16th floor, corner room was quite spacious, with a comfortable bed, a well-appointed bathroom, and electric blinds. The breakfast was abundant and well-staffed. Overall, a fine hotel.

Excellent superior suite, very nice and clean, very good breakfast. Just a few minutes walk to central train station, very friendly and helpful staff. Will go back to this hotel if I ever go to Milan again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Una Century in Milan. A little tough at first to find, but only because the front doors are location in a secure gated area. The staff was friendly and helpful, and recommended a GREAT place to dine. They allowed to the use of an umbrella, and went out their way to assist us when needed. The walk to the train station was safe and easy.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the railway/metro station and where the buses arrived from the airport. In this regard, it is perfect. An easy walk from the airport bus, there was a tram from the front door to all the best bits of Milan, the metro was close and we used the train to visit friends. The hotel itself is a typical commercial hotel, a little run down but everything we needed was there. The wi-fi connection is not great (we were on floor 17). Also the staff were helpful but only answered exactly what was asked and offered no more. Good city centre hotel
