The hotel was close to shopping, in very nice area. the entire place has just been renovated so the rooms and everything in them was clean and new. Flat screen tv, microwave oven and refridgerator were provided. The entire hotel was non-smoking which is very nice. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. I will stay here again if I return to the area. Great price for the quality of the stay.

The room was very clean and modern and I really appreciated the wood floors. I was pleasantly surprised and everyone that worked there was very nice. Would stay again and recommend to friends. But I forgot my favorite pillow there!

It was pleasant to be there. Could have more shampoos and soap in room. I only had one shampoo packet and bar of soap. Other than that the stay was great.

I think the hotel was nice. There was some remodeling done as well. Kudos on the lobby's new look. I was relieved to see the room neat and tidy. The room had the look and feel that I needed from what was such a long day on the road. I like that the fridge, alarm clock, coffee maker, Flat-Screen TV and microwave were all black. I really like black appliances and electronics! Now to the bed...so soft yet firm. My back and neck surely liked the bed. My body thanked me in the morning as I arose with a pep in my step. The shower was hot and steamy, they way I like it. I give this hotel two thumbs up. Like I said from being on the road and being checked in & out of really not so comfortable rooms this was a plus for me. Oh by the way the staff was really nice and friendly. I was given everything I needed and anything I asked for. I'm really thankful for the southern hospitality that was shown at the Red Roof in Johnson City, TN

Very pleasant experience from check-in to departure. Room was clean - looked newly redecorated. Added benefit of pre-arranged food discounts at local restaurants.

I was very impressed with the rooms and the lobby. They have done a great job remodeling! No breakfast, microwave or fridge in our room but it was great for a one night stay.

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night because I was touring ETSU for a grad program. It's very close to ETSU, 2 restaurants that will give you discounts, Target, and a few other shopping things. The room was nice and clean. I would stay here again.

Even after reading the good reviews, this motel impressed me as being way above its 2-star rating. My king room was very spacious with a large L-shaped desk. I had refrigerator and microwave and safe. The tub was wider than most inexpensive hotel tubs. The toilet was a low-flow, they had a no smoking policy, and their environmental plan had three tiers for the guest to choose from. Loved the laminate floor instead of the usual yucky-smelling carpet.

Room was large, comfortable and clean. Nice decor. Convenient to everything.

Stayed for one night with my husband while hanging out in Johnson City. The Location is perfect especially for the price. When we checked in the front desk clerk was very polite and ease of check-in was wonderful. I had booked a King Superior room. The room was clean, decorated well, and the bed was comfortable. Nice sturdy desk, big screen tv. The only complaint would be that the channel selection was rather sad and there was no hair dryer. I will stay there again and I would recommend to others

Great value for the money. I was in town for an overnight stay, and this was close to everything I needed.

Stayed in a superior king room and loved it! Biggest tv we have ever had in a hotel. Newly remodeled. Worth the money.

This was one of the best motels that I have every stayed in! The price was right, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the motel was clean and kept up! The beds were very comfortable - We will definitely stay here again.

The super King room was very clean, new wood floors and very comfortable bed. There was a nice dest chair with firm support for my lower back. Bathroom was clean but small. The sink area could use a little more illumination but it was clean. It wasn' luzurious, but very acceptable at a decent price. A Target Store was a football field away for last minute shopping. Lots of restauarants within a half mile of motel. I would stay again without hesitation.

This turned out to be a great hotel... especially for the price. The rooms were remodeled and the water was hot... what more could you ask for.

the best room we have rented for a long time! it was clean, fully stocked and the staff went the extra mile! close to the racetrack for the fans and good eating close by! we will stay there again next time we need a room within 70 mile of this hotel. worth the drive!

This hotel is probably not bad for the price, but it's old and unsafe feeling. People right outside my door talking loudly and even banged on the door at one point. Wouldn't recommend it, for a few dollars more you coud get something bright and clean. Not saying it was dirty, just worn out feeling.

We were very pleased with our stay. So convenient to the interstate, and a quick drive to Elizabethton, where our conference was held. The hotel is being refurbished, and some painting was going on, but it did not inconvenience us.

It was very comfortable and we had friendly service. The front desk was very helpful. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room other than to sleep, but the accommodations were more than satisfactory. We would stay there again. I was hoping for a mini-fridge to stash our snacks, but it wasn't a hardship to be without.

We were looking for an affordable, decent place to stay while visiting family. The room was worth the money paid. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was really small, but it served it's purpose. The bed was VERY comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and there were places to eat within walking distance. The room did have a slight odor to it like the previous occupants smoked in it even though it was a nonsmoking room. We were very happy that the hotel was dog friendly. It even had a designated area for the dog's to "do their business". For the price we paid, it was worth it.

Very clean and comfortable room

I stayed in this hotel when my husband and I went to the Nascar races in Bristol, TN. The room was comfortable, clean and big. The bed was extremely comfortable too. The location of this hotel was perfect because it was about 15 mins away from the track, which made things very convenient. The hotel staff was nice and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!!

Price was right so did not expect much- only thing was beds were not comfortable and a/c was weak

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The lady at the front desk at the time was not very personable, but overall is was a fairly good stay.

This was a great spot for my husband and I to spend one night. It's located right off the interstate. We had a king-size bed that was comfortable--we recently have stayed in "better" hotels that had horrible beds, so this was refreshing. We had a microfridge and microwave which was nice since we had leftovers from dinner. Very convenient location. We walked to O'Charley's for dinner, and then to TJ Maxx (there is also Target and Books-A-Million in the same shopping center). Shoney's is just a ways down and we ate there for breakfast. All you had to do was cross the parking lot. The mall was a hop skip and a jump away also. Overall a very pleasant stay. Quiet, too--we had no noice problems at all. It was like we were the only folks there, except the parking lot was full!

Was concerned because had never stayed somewhere that dogs were allowed. It was very clean and comfortable. I couldn't afford a 5 star hotel but it was a great value. I would stay again. Deserves 3 stars.

The employees were very friendly and efficient. The room was clean and very presentable. However, we were placed in room 113 that is apparently next to some type of equipment room. Some type of generator/compressor would kick on about every 15-20 mins and vibrate the walls and was extremly noisy. The air unit made a loud ticking noise. So my daughter and I did not get any sleep. All that being said, I would stay there again. I should have requested a different room but was just too tired.

Easy check in. Clean room. Great location. Easy check out. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

The manager couldn't have been nicer & more accommodating, helping with logging on my laptop. Very clean, thick & grassy dog-walk area. Have already made another reservation for next week.

The room had nothing that many other hotel rooms have now. There is no fridge, no coffepot, no hair dryer, no iron. The room I was in didn't even have hangers for jackets. It had a single paper packet of shampoo and soap, but I was in a room for two people.

Not the most fancy. Not the least expensive. This is simply a good room for the price. Plenty of space inside and the best part is the location. If you want to eat on the cheap then it is close. If you want the best of food then that is also close. The staff is what puts this hotel in higher rating. What the hotel lacks in screen size or jacuzzi the staff makes up for in simple doing their jobs with a smile.

I don't travel much, but I at least expect to not have to drag a hair dryer when I do go. I at least expect lobby coffee to taste like something more than hot water. I at least expect a tad bit more than a tablespoon of shampoo (only) in a ketchup-packet style dispenser in the bathroom. And all the rooms are outside-entry - no hallways. There was a dog pile on the 2nd landing near the stairs for the whole 3 days we were there. When asked, they did provide a hair dryer, another tablespoon of shampoo, and one more towel. There was at least a fridge & suitcase caddy. It was not noisey. But the dog pile stayed. The work space was the best thing about the room. I did not think it was worth the price.

We were very pleased with this room for an overnight stay. It was adjacent to a shopping mall, which made the stay more enjoyable since we do not know the area.

I spent one night at this hotel on a visit to a college campus. The room was clean, fairly large, and the staff was extremely pleasant and willing to go out of their way to help. I will definitely stay there again.
