Old, outdated, drunks from the winghouse kept us up all night. The next day we were exhausted because we couldn't get a good nights rest. Terible experience. Learned my lesson the hard way trying to save a few bucks. Next time will fork out the extra money for a restfull sleep and better experience.

A basic hotel without any extra features such as in room coffee maker , fridge or microwave. Room key would not work on the 3 night of my stay. Went to the lobby but the door was locked at 7 PM . Turns out the clerk was across the street ordering her dinner from the nearby wing bar. She gave me a lot of attitude when I asked why there was no service at the front desk.

Didn't expect much from REd Roof but expected more for that price. Had to kill 4 roaches just to take a shower. Still ad ols wash clothes in tub.

We have stayed at a Red Roof Inn before and we were very disappointed that this Inn did not have inside entrances to the rooms. We have decided that we will not stay here again.

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. I was concerned that we may be staying in a low buget hotel because the price was great!! Super value and I would definitely stay there again!!

Near the Hardrock Casino and cheap rooms is the big plus for this hotel. If you are looking for 800 count cotton sheets on a comfortable bed this is not for you! If you are looking for an affordable room for the night this is it!

You can walk to Ker's winghouse gas station and burger place. Hard rock casino is right down the road, some of the taxi drivers will try and rip u off. Front desk staff was very nice

The room was great for the price. Very close to fairgrounds, food and gas station! Front desk was very nice and helpful will stay here again for next competition!

Right across the street from one of the Tampa Fairgrounds entrances. Front desk personnel were pleasant. Surrounding area of hotel quite unpleasant with a loud bar in the same parking area. Room merely adequate.

We have stayed at this location twice now and have reservations for New Years Day. Not only is it close to the fairgrounds (right across the street), its very close to The Hard Rock Casino, Busch Gardens and more. The front desk staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms are comfortable, there could be some redecorating done. The only other real drawback for us is that they only serve coffee in the lobby and there is not any real creamer. But I'm all about my coffee in the morning, so don't let that scare you away.

Stayed here for a couple of days so I could gamble at the casino down the road. This place was a 4 Star hotel with a 2 star price! Had everything I needed and then some. I stayes on the back side of the 2nd building. Nice and quiet. Everything I could want in my room and more. Nice and spacious. Would definetely recommend to friends and family!

For the price it was okay. Stairwells smelled like urine. Staff was very nice. Blankets need to be replaced. Stained plus burn holes.no coffee pot in room. Appears to be a transient type hotel.located next to a wing house with a lot of loud drunks. If you need a cheap place to sleep its alright.

My Husband and I went to the rockstar uproar festival at the 1800 ask gary amp. We were already planning on getting a cab to get us to and from the venue, not knowing exactly where this venue was. Huge surprise that we could walk across the street and its right there! The hotel staff were all very nice.

Great for the price and location to near by attrations.

I went to a concert at the 1800 ask gary ampitheater, thought I would have to take a taxi but the Tampa Fairgrounds is literally across the street which was perfect! I saved money by walking. The rooms are nice and clean. I had no complaints for this hotel. Theres a winghouse right in front of the hotel and a 5guys walking distance which was convenient, for people who ate before 10pm lol. I was stuck having to eat at the gas station that price gouged like crazy. You could tell that they were making up the price of the items (they didnt scan the items nor give a receipt). Other than that my stay was perfect!

This was a great deal for the price! The room was outdated, but clean. I noticed when I walked by the laundry that they were washing bedspreads and blankets in addition to sheets. They had very good security (guard, room safes and excellent video camera coverage.) It is across the street from the fairgrounds and about very close to the Hard Rock Casino. Ker's Winghouse has very good food and is right in front of the hotel and 5 Guys Burgers (my fave!) is about a block away. There is also a convenience store next to the Winghouse. I usually avoid 2 star hotels because I've had some very bad experiences regarding cleanliness and security, but a friend had recommended this place several times. I agree with his recommendations-- you can save money and have a clean, safe room.

The motel was centrally located and clean. We ate at the Wings and Things which is located in the front of the motel and down the street was a 5Guys Hamburger place. What more could you ask for. The Hard Rock was about 1 mile down the street, where I lost my money, but , hey, it is gambling. It is knowing when to hold them, when to fold them and when to walk away.

Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff (esp. Donna) was friendly and effecient, and the location was ideal for our activities at the ampitheatre and casino. It's not a world-class resort, but, for the rate you pay, it's just fine.

Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Location good. Reasonably priced. The only complaint was bed linens were dirty. Sheets ok but comforter looked like it had missed a few washes. But would still recommend.

The room had all the basics - I really cant complain. It did have kind of a funky old smell - but for what we needed the room for, it was fine. We drove up, went a concert across the street, and left the next morning. The front desk staff was nice and smiley. Our car was safe. The $1.50 fee for whatever it was (?) is a little silly. Winghouse was very close and a good place to start before the show. Overall, this is a good basic hotel in the right lcoation for the Ampitheater crowd.

very nice and clean. very affordable. i would definitely stay here again. real close to the hard rock so you dont have to pay their hotel high price

The front desk person at check-in was nice and helpful. The rooms were clean. It had a modern decor. I would definitely stay here again.

Didn't expect the Ritz-Carlton. Didn't get it either. however, everything is relative. Relatively speaking I got a great value. Room was comfortable and clean.

The location is the key here. The positives were Ker,s winghouse is about 15 yards from the hotel and the place is always busy, also a gas station walking distance. Internet worked fine, water pressure for the shower was great, safe located in the room. Cab fair is about 7 bucks to casino. A few negatives were the AC at times sounded like a 747 jet was taking off and the sink drained very slowly. Easy check in and out. Overall a good stay.

You get what you pay for. Mattresses and carpet need to be upgraded. Location is rather dark

hotel is in a nice part of town, clean enough for an overnight stay - but kind of far from downtown Tampa, any restaurant but fast food --- but that can be forgiven for a comfortable room.

Great clean room for the price. Location is excellent. Easy access to major road ways. Would stay again!

Hotel is what it is. You get what you pay for. Near to main routes. Not veryu happy with front desk staff. Almost cost me another nights stay, and a lot of waiting whilst this was corrected. Can someone tell me why, when you are speaking with someone, face to face, why they have to pick up a ringing telephone, put my enquiry on hold and deal with someone else?? Very annoying AND RUDE
