Econo Lodge Martin - مارتين

The best part of the stay was the day clerk Steven! If I had to score based on hi soley the hotel would get a thumbs up; "STEVEN WAS THE MAN". he was very attentive to missing iron boards, faulty irons, and additional linens. The evening shift was never available even when you called 0 as directed; no one answered and was very frustrating! Our room was never cleaned despite being there two nights; we were from another state and stayed around the room a bit which made it hard however when we were gone no effort was made to return. The room was not cleaned and even had someone else's clothes in the drawer. The wall was repaired and not repainted and the bathtub was scary not sure what went wrong with the cleaning or perhaps its was stained. Overall experience was not good! I still appreciate Steven he deserves a raise!

In fairness, I stayed here two nights, in two different rooms, and the first night was largely uneventful. The "2" score is an average of "3" and "1." The second night was a travesty. The highlight was a gaggle of drunken rednecks partying outside for what seemed like the entire night. The next morning I took a photo of the debris field they left in the parking lot - cans, bottles, even their cooler. I realize the hotel cannot be held fully accountable, but I don't think they even tried. Within the room itself there was a spider in the bathtub, dried blood in the sink, no bath towels, a TV channel guids that bore little resemblance to what was actually available, lights that did not work, AC that did not work well or quietly, and a shortage of hot water. About the only positives were a comfortable bed (in which to lie and listen to hootin' and hollerin') and a reasonably good breakfast.

We arrived late (10ish) to the hotel the first night and the young man who was meant to be at the desk in the front had gone to the back for some reason so it took a while to call him up to the front, which was irritating at that hour, but other than that I have no complaints. You get what you pay for, but it can't be beat for convenience to UTM.

The sweet college girl at the front desk was super nice and very accommodating. Hotel was clean and bed was surprisingly comfortable. Can't beat it for the price. I will definitely stay there again.

We were checked in with no problems by the sweetest young lady. It is less than 3/10 of a mile from UTM entrance and our room was spotless. I shared the quality of the facility w/ the representatives from UTM so that if they were referring others to a convenient and clean location, they were aware of this hotel. We will definitely be staying here when our daughter comes to college and we have to come stay in that area.

Bathtub was covered in soap scum. Floors at baseboards were filthy. Dried out calk around the sink. Wouldn't have touched the coffee pot if someone would have paid me. Dried food on one of the chairs. Could have used a good floor cleaning overall. Otherwise it was bearable. The microwave and fridge were clean. Bed appeared to be clean although I covered it in lysol before use, as well as everything else in the room. The lobby and clerk were awesome no problems. Cleaning crew needs retrained or followed up on.

This hotel was overpriced for what we received. We discovered a spray cleaning bottle left on the bathtub and a dead frog behind the toilet. I could except that mistake to a degree, but when I told the hotel clerk she wasn't too apologetic. And proceeded to explain to me what she thinks may have happened. I'm the customer, I don't want an explanation. Maybe a partial refund would have appeased me, but I got nothing.

just wish the pillows were fluffier... they were very flat. overall, room was very clean and fit our needs.

I needed a hotel close to UT Martin to stay 1 night that was clean and safe. This hotel is just what I ordered and it was at a great price. There were many open rooms and most of the other patrons appeared to be contractors with work trucks. The pool was fun for the kids and the staff was very friendly. The free breakfast was surprising and did the trick. We were in and out with the kids taking a short 30 min swim before we left. A bargain for what I paid but certainly nothing special (other than the staff which are great).
