Great view of Darling Harbour

It was my first time in Sydney, and quite frankly I expected a lot more from the hotel from the look of the lobby. It was basic to say the least, with a plastic shower curtain! The room was small and the air conditioning did not work. Overall the staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was basically clean. If we had been staying for more than one night I would have looked for another hotel though.

Close to trains and sights within walking distance

Had no problems at all. The twin room had lots of room to move around for 2 people, the bathroom was well equiped with a decent hair dryer. We thought the buffet breakfast was great, but really a bit over priced. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Altho in close proximity to Darling Harbour it is a couple of blocks to main shopping (QVB etc). But easy enough to find. The entry area would be so much more welcoming with a glassed over roof covering entire car parking u shaped area. The Porter outside was freezing poor chap! Windy as. Get a room on the Darling Harbour side for view, bit of afternoon sun, and the activities. Hotel has a walkway attached, across the main road, and leads directly down to Darling Harbour and yummy eateries! We have stopped off several times before and will again.

this hotel was very clean and comfortable...excellent location...good amenities...and we would definitely stay here again. We could walk out the door and in under 5 min be right in the bay of Darling Harbour with its many shops and wonderful restaurants and bars...lots of fun. would highly recommend it to others

has a perfect location

Tooth brushes and tooth paste should be provided in the bathroom. Bathroom facilities are not complete compared to other hotels. Poor lighting system in the room. Not enough light at night time causing difficulty in packing things. No on-site hotel owned free car parking

My husband and I had the most wonderful time in Sydney and just loved out hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was spacey, comfortable and clean with a beautiful view over Darling Harbour. We absolutely loved every aspect of staying at the Four Points by Sheraton and the location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's close to restaurants, shops and attractions as well as public transport. We would definitely stay there again and will no doubt recommend the hotel to friends and family.

First of all , the rooms were not good , we got 2 single beds intead of 1 double.. Room view was not very good..

Overall lovely hotel - all staff from car attendant to reception were extremely helpful and courteous. Would not hesitate in staying again

The hotel was lovely, the location brilliant, the staff were excellent, the bar was good and the breakfast very tasty. I can't praise the place enough. The only downside was that we expected a harbour view as that's what it said in the hotels.com details. What we actually had was a partial view of Cockle Bay and hardly any view of Darling Harbour, with a full view of the aquarium roof. I thought we'd paid for a room with a view, but it turned out that only a few higher up rooms have a full view so either the hotel or hotels.com need to make it very clear to clients what they are getting. If you want to have the view then make it clear at the time of booking, but expect to pay more. If you don't mind the partial view then it's a great place to stay.

Excellent hotel in an exciting and convenient location

this hotel is excellently situated next to darling harbour with easy access to all the attractions. we enjoyed our 6 night stay there and can highly recommend it.the staff were effiecient, friendly and helpful.

Stayed at the Sheraton during a trade fair. Would probably choose hotel closer to the convention centre next time. Even though its location is good, didnt need the extra walking after each day lapping the show grounds and convention centre. Entrance is lovely and staff quick to offer assistance. however for a 4 star rooms seemed a bit tired.

The hotel is in a good location and with a decent look. You should be able to get a comfortable stay with good services. But with this price, I was expecting things to be of 4.5-5star quality. It's a good hotel in general but nothing luxurious/glamourous. I think you can have better choices in Sydney with such amount of money :)

The hotel is convieniently located, very close to Darling Harbour, local bars and resturants, most rooms have a great outlook over the Darling Harbour water way.

The hotel was located in a great spot, there was a walk way from the hotel which would take you into Darling Harbour by the Sydney Aquarium. The service was excellent in the hotel they would wait on you hand and foot, breakfast was included in the hotel price which was a buffet with a choice of hot breakfast or fruit. The room itself was excellent we had a great view of Darling Harbour and a huge king size bed which swallowed us both! The only thing I would say about the room there was no sofa just a chair instead, so if you wanted to sit down it would have to be on the bed. Overall the hotel was great and also the lobby downstairs had a little bar which was open til late, and just outside the hotel there was a little tavern pub with seating outside - great spot if you didn't wander out too far. Fabulous hotel I would definitely recommend it and stay there again, although a bit pricey it was worth the money!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Four Points to attend our daughters "moving" ceremony at the Magistrates Court. At first we thought the location was to far from Darling Harbour but once there is was just a stones throw away. Pity we didn't have harbour views but the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic, we even stayed for the "all you can eat" seafood night and that was good also. I would recommend this hotel.

A great choice for visiting Sydney. Right by Darling Harbour, so within easy walk of a lot of bars and restaurants and an easy walk to the major sites and the CBD. Spacious room, quiet and with everything you need. Friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast. Really can't fault it and would definitely stay here again.

Priced on the high end. Room pretty good, facilities excellent, staff excellent, location excellent. A touch noisy from sirens etc as expected in the city. Great location, will stay again when prices are a little more reasonable. Car parking very expensive.

We stayed at Four Points by Sheraton for 3 nights in january 2012. The room was nice and large but without much light. The staff was friendly and helpfull.

Overall was happy with Sheraton, had small issue with delay in getting baby cot then issue that they werent alound to supply bedding for the cot for health and safety regulations, which is fine if they had of advised us when we made the reservation. Couldnt supply cot bedding but could supply queen size blanket for cot which with the weight of it would be more danagerous. Requested this at 4.oo received at 10.20 what time do they think babies go to bed ! Also dont even consider room service was feeling like desert for lemon tart $17.00 plus $6.50 for delivery. Ridiculus..... $ 5.00 for can of coke from mini bar.

Im pretty satisfied with the stay, the room is clean n the bed was very comfy, except the location is not that convienient if u want to go to the city centre like Chinatown or the other side. I stayed on the city facing side n its not noisy too..Overall I would recommend this hotel!

This hotel is in a perfect place for a first time visitor to Sydney. Walking distance to everything and right at Darling Harbor which is fantastic. Clean rooms and courteous service. The restaurant manager went over and above great service by accommodating our family Christmas tradition of cracked crab! Even though we bought it at the fish market (a must see) the restaurant cleaned it and let us eat it at our own table at the pub! It was perfect!!

Our room was pleasant but nothing special. The staff was exceptional, offering useful help at every turn. Location is excellent, adjacent to Darling Harbor. Would stay again.

Booked a Deluxe Harbour View King room. Very disappointing after previously staying in a Harbour View suite for about the same price. The room was clean but a bit tired. Service efficient but lacking. For example, there were no slippers or bathrobes in the room on arrival - when we could work out who to call (the in house directory doesn't tell you) the missing articles were delivered quickly, but without acknowledgement of a mistake or an apology. The quilt cover was stained as was the sofa. Not good enough for a 4 star hotel charging 5+ star prices. Overall the hotel was ok, but definitely not value for money.

Me and my wife stayed at Four points by sheraton earlier january this year and a wonderful experience of the same. The hotel is beautiful and is located centrally to the darling harbour which is accesible walking (2-3 minutews walk). The view from the room is awesome. The breakfast was also excellent. The only flaw was that the bathroom was a bit ordinary and looked old. The hotel provides free internet access at its lobby 24*7. As a whole the stay was perfect.

Nice hotel, actually quite a bargain. Food is very expensive, but there are several places to get a breakfast. Weekday seafood buffet is a good deal. Room was comfortable service good, staff helpful, and it's in darling Harbor about 1.5 mile walk to Harbor Bridge, Opera House. Darling Harbor has lots of amenities.
