Nice staff, very clean room, in a convenient location near everything.

Had power failure in middle of night. Didn't sleep after that, no power in morning, cold shower. Hotel staff was cordial.

Overall it was a good experience. A board broke on the door frame to the bathroom but they politely and professionally looked after it. The one thing that actually had me quite upset at first was the charge for internet service. It cost me almost $50.00 for 72hrs. This upset me a bit at first. Then when I went to connect my second device it wanted me to pay another $48.00. Basically to connect my laptop and phone it would cost me almost $100.00 for 72hrs.....When your paying close to $400/night you would think that internet would be included. It is 2013.......Otherwise no complaints. But keep in mind if internet is something you require there are other hotels for the same price that offer free wifi.

This was our first stay at the Colonnade in Boston, and we were very impressed with all aspects of our stay. The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious (enough room for 5), the cost was very reasonable (thanks Hotel.com!), and the location was perfect - walking distance to Fenway. Parking and Internet are extra, but otherwise, an excellent experience. This hotel is a keeper!

The hotel is excellent, but the restaurant thinks a little too much of itself such that when I told the waiter I only had a half hour for breakfast, I was told brusquely that the kitchen was very busy so perhaps I ought to eat elsewhere.

What a wonderful, luxurious hotel, with importantly, excellent helpful staff. Superb location! Can walk to a lot of fantastic sights close by. A great experience which one is not always fortunate enough to enjoy. Expensive, but highly recommended.

We stayed at the Colonnade for 2 nights with our 3 children. The hotel is in a great neighborhood. It is right across the street from the Prudential Center and close to many shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean and totally updated.The only problem I had was that the room was extremely hot! When we arrived I turned the thermostat down to 65. 24 hours later the room temperature had not gone below 72 degrees. I called the front desk to complain that the room was extremely hot and uncomfortable. They sent someone up to look at it. He basically said the it is controlled by as main thermostat not the one in the room and that he would adjust it to make it cooler. No such luck. The room was just as hot on the 2nd day.

The room was very comfortable large and cozy, loved the layout, but wish the internet wasn't so expensive.

I was in town for 2 days (1 night) to visit a client in the Prudential Center. Being right across the street in an unbelievably comfortable environment made everything about being there very easy. The rubber ducky in the hotel bathroom was also a nice touch.

Clean rooms with great bedding. The room was small for the price. We were unable to watch the news on CBS, NBC, or ABC because those hannels were unavailable and the front desk had no clue why. Mediocre for the high price.

Great place to stay near Fenway Park! Beautiful rooms, great service, and very good value.

This being my first time to Boston and trying to figure out just where was the best place to stay was a bit challenging. I settled on the Colannade after checking many, many different hotel websites. It looked modern, clean and central. I am pleased to say it lived up to the all three things. I was really pleased with the Luxe room (9th Floor). Gerry - Concierge was very helpful. The down side - the communication ahead of my visit (I had a couple of questions I wanted clarifying, so I contacted via their website) required me to chase a few time. However, that was more an annoyance and I would happily recommend staying at this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay, our room was comfortable and well furnished. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. Only criticism would be the bathroom being extremely small and basic for a double room in a 4.5 star hotel.

Perfect location, right next to T stop, but also easy to drive to, with hotel parking--average cost for Boston parking. Having the Prudential Center was great for nieces and nephews, and I liked the variety of restaurants close by. Neighborhood felt safe, and very convenient for college visits. Will hopefully stay there again.

The hotel location was perfect for our requirements, the staff were excellent and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. We will definately book this hotel next time we visit Boston.

Very helpful and nice staff. Tour bus stop right in front, subway stop right in front, and across the street from major shopping and eating.

This hotel is in a great location The room was very pleasant, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay there again. Our only complaint was that a light was out in the bathroom. We asked both the housekeeping service person we saw outside our room and the front desk to take care of it but no one did.

Great hotel with a fantastic staff, parking easy, breakfast was decent. One negative, the hotel is not sound-proof. We heard people talking at 5:15 in the morning both nights, doors slamming in the hallway and the cleaning crew in the hallway and traffic noise on Huntington Street. Beautiful hotel but plan to be awakened early.

loved the ducks!

Pro's- Great location , clean comfortable rooms. Pleasant staff. Good restaurant & bar. Cons- Noisy rooms ( you can hear all sounds from outside hallways) Unable to control the temperature of the room (too warm) Overall for the price @ a great location in downtown its well worth it.

Overall the hotel is very good. My bed was exceptionally comfortable. But I was put off a bit by the substantial charge for wireless and the dim corridors.

Hotel was comfortable and convenient to Back Bay, shopping at the Pru and Symphony Hall. Our stay would have been a lot nicer without a large group of people who continually went from room to room, talking and laughing loudly in the hallway until 2:30 a.m.

The Colonnade is a great smaller hotel (10 stories) in a neighborhood of large high rise hotels. It is clean, has extremely helpful staff (particularly the concierge and bell hops), and has great views of the 2 neighborhoods it straddles (the Back Bay on one side and the South End on the other). There is a subway entrance at the front door and there are many restaurants of all price levels in every direction, within walking distance. If you are going to stay in a higher quality Boston hotel, I would recommend the Colonnade.

Rooms are a decent size and nicely done. Brunch at Brasserie Jo was great and the hotel is across from Prudential and Copley Malls and close to Newbury Street shopping. Unfortunately my friends were in a room next to a barking dog that HOWLED until 1:30 am. Didn't know pets were allowed... and they didn't know they were put on the animal floor. Knowing to steer clear of that floor, I would go back.

Not only was the location of this hotel absolutely amazing but the staff here was phenomenal. I absolutely love how close it is to Fenway, Boylston St and of course the Prudential Center. The Keurig was a great touch to the room and I have to say the beds may be the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on! The staff here was beyond amazing and I would 100% come back just because of that. The doorman was beyond helpful though I don't remember his name and the night security guard was also great. They went above and beyond and made us feel like royalty! We had such a great time I would come back in a heartbeat, in fact we're planning our next trip to Boston right now! See you again soon.
