Raffaello Hotel - شيكاغو

Wonderful location but took it off the list for a return visit. No breakfast available until 7 AM (am I the only guest who goes to work before that?); they forgot to make up room one of three days; persistent sewer smell from bathroom vent (reported, unaddressed); no control of heat available, ever. Really a shame, great location.

It's in a great location and the rooms were fairly comfortable. However, the heater in the room did not work. The shower is designed very poorly and thus gets water all over the bathroom floor. The walls are very thin, so you hear pretty much anything going on in the surrounding rooms and hallway and street. For the price I was expecting more. There were no free amenities at all and a poor fitness center. The cost of everything, from internet to breakfast, was ridiculously overpriced.

Great staff, excellent room. We got upgraded and that was a really nice surprise.

Wifi internet only at the lob which is a very small place , and the internet at the rooms is charged and as my room was at the end of the corridor, it only worked at the room, not at the bedroom.Excellent localization and acomodatios is good for the price.Very helpfull stafe.

We have stayed here a number of times. We booked a room for Monday - Wednesday and received a free room upgrade. Staff is very pleasant and the hotelis located a block east of Michigan ave. The only complaint is the heating fan was a bit noisy and it took a long time for the water to get hot for a shower. Except for those two things, we will stay at the Raffaello in the future.

Warm, welcoming staff, great location central to everything, exceptional value.

What a nice hotel. We were given a free upgrade to a suite and could not have been more pleased. Location wonderful, rooms clean, staff more than nice. I'll Be Back!!! Warning, REAL soft pillows ( HAHA)

I booked the Raffaello Hotel based on the good review it has received, so I expected it to be nice, but frankly it's even nicer than I thought it would be.The hotel is decorated very nicely, from the lobby to your actual room, really very pretty. We got the king size room, and it was a nice size room and I love the little dressing table/kitchen area between the room and the bathroom. The whole place looks new or recently redone. It's right by the Hancock building so very convenient to Michigan Ave, but it isn't noisy. The staff is very friendly and tries to help you in any way. We will stay there again next time we are in town.

The room was nice, but small. The bathroom was large, but only 1 person could use the bathroom and sinks at once making it time consuming for everyone to get ready.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 10th wedding anniversary. When we told them at check in why we were there they immediately upgraded our room at no charge! The room and hotel are beautiful and staff was wonderful! I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return!! Very satisfied! !

We loved our stay at Raffaello Hotel in Chicago! We stayed with our kids and the hotel was clean, the staff was very pleasant and helpful and the location was ideal for us. We will stay here again when we return to Chicago!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was highly convenient to everything we wanted to do in Chicago, from sightseeing to shopping. We will most certainly stay here again on our next visit. The price for the room sweetened the deal.

the people at the front desk were very hospitable, great location as it is close to the "magnificent mile" and the rooms are very nice, great place to stay

Room was large and comfortable Some of the staff was hard to understand small front desk area but clean staff was extremely helpful and friendly

Close to water tower and healthy convenient supermarket

The 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens) were quite comfortable in the large suite. Free WiFi only in lobby area was a bit of a pain. Recommend you take your own breakfast.

Nice hotel! This was our second stay at the Raffaello. It is in a great location! Only draw back that we experienced was that valet parking was $53 per night!! Self parking near by was more like $28.

Good location - would stay again. One thing, they did not replentish the coffee in our room for the 2nd day.

Great location, great room and view, very friendly staff. We werr very satisfied.

Out of all the hotels that I have stayed in, this is the best night sleep I have ever gotten, my husband and daughter both agree. The hotel was comfortable and surprisingly it was very quiet.

One of the best hotels stays I've ever had. Everything was available that I needed. Staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the view and although there was some hallway noise, not more than any other hotel I've been to. Decor was relaxing and inviting. Loved the dressing mirror area. Always like having a place to put out all the eye shadows and hairsprays to find easily in the AM. Enjoyed the rain type shower, nice touch to start the day and plenty of towels. The cost of in-room internet was really the only thing that was a little frustrating, but in the end didn't need it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Hope to get to visit city again and Raffaello will be my first choice of where to stay. The neighborhood was very nice and there were plenty of places to visit and restaurants to choose from in the evenings.

Loved the hotel. Loved the situation. The elevators were way too small to cope with number of guests and staff. We loved the suite but we had supposedly been upgraded. This was not the case in my opinion as it meant that I had to sleep on a sofa bad. Have you ever slept on one of those things, you can feel every spring and the mattress is so thin it gives no support. I booked a double room for the purpose of 4 of us having comfortable beds. A suite is fine for 3 because of the single bed but not 4. I will refuse upgrade if there is a next time. Attention to detail is required i.e squeeky doors and grouting that needs fixing. All said and done we had a great time. Housekeeping were really helpful and courteous.

We enjoyed our room and will consider staying again. There was a problem with the heat in the room but it was serviced immediately. We were charged $32 for parking and it was located a block from the hotel.

Never having stayed here before, I didn't know what to expect. The hotel is located by the Hancock Tower and there are some very good restaurants nearby. The room was adequately sized, clean, and comfortable. The lobby bar is tiny and so is the restaurant but when in Chicago it's best to try the restaurants anyway. It's not close to a train stop, that being the only negative.

very clean hotel in the heart of downtown chicago .... however, there was a weather change for the time of year (beginning of february) & the room was extremely warm! windows could only open about 3 inches, good safety feature but not so good when its hot! reception desk as well as maintenance stated since we were still in the winter months they could not change the temperature of the room.... heard other guests have the same complaint without any other outcomes.

The hotel is very nice. Good location and quality of service. Problems exist. The photos of the rooms are not really representative of the size. The two pillows are not even a standard size which affected my quality of sleep. Two very small elevators for 14 floors cause some waiting. The location is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay again, but first I will check to see if better pillows are available.

Great value, convenient location.

We enjoyed our five day stay at the Raffaello. The room was nice and everyone there was friendly and professional. Our air conditioner had a little trouble keeping up with the record high temps in March, but we were never uncomfortable enough to bring it to the attention of the staff. I would definitely stay at the hotel again and would recommend it without reservation to all. It is a short two blocks to the middle of the Magnificent Mile. Very convenient!

Small room. Internet / Wifi does not work with Apple products (ipad / iphone). Friend paid same and got larger room. Called engineer to fix internet and phone (which was also unplugged) and the guy never came. Plenty of low cost options in Chicago, this is not one.

Former residential building converted to boutique hotel. Great location, service and staff. Great value. Like having your own apartment in Chicago.
