Queens Park Hotel - لندن

الطاقم كان دائماً مهذباً وغرفتنا نظيفة. مبنى الفندق قديماً جداً. لقد فعلوا ما بوسعهم لتحسينه لكنني اعتقد ان تقييمه يجب ان يكون من فئة نجمتين وليس 3. الغرف صغيرة لكننا استخدمناها فقط للنوم. الفندق يبعد مسافة مبنيين عن محطة مترو الأنفاق Queensway . بوفيه الافطار كان مناسباً لكنه ليس فاخراً. مصعدين صغيرين يخدمان المبنى ويعملان ببطء لذلك يجب ان تتحلى بالصبر لتصعد او تنزل في أيهما.

بدا الفندق واعداً بتسجيل دخولنا مبكراً لكننا عندما رأينا المصعد علمنا ان الأمور ستسوء، صغير جداً لشخصين وحقيبتين. أقمنا في القسم المرمم من الفندق لكنه مرمم بأرخص الأثمان والغرف صغيرة جداً. لا يوجد حامل للخقائب لذلك وضعناها على الأرض. الملاءات كانت قذرة واستمرت الشراشف بالانزلاق عن المرتبة لأنها لم تحتو على شريط مطاطي ليحكم تثبيتها . لم يكن لديهم مصباح جانبي لذلك عليك ان ترضى بمصباح السقف. المرتبة كانت قاسية كالصخر والمخدات مسطحة كالفطائر. الواي فاي ليس مجاني وقيل لنا هذا بطريقة وقحة من قبل المرأة على مكتب الاستقبال. وفي اليوم الأخير انكسر الدش ولم يعد التلفاز يعمل وعندما ابلغنا الاستقبال بذلك لم يبد عليهم الهتمام او الاعتذار. الشئ الوحيد الجيد في هذا الفندق كان بوفيه الافطار المجاني والموقع الملائم. كان هناك العديد من الفنادق غلى نفس الشارع وانا متأكد ان أحدها كان ليكون أفضل بكثير وبنفس السعر. واصلوا البحث.

كانت اقامتنا جيدة في فندق Queens Park. انه يقع في منطقة هادئة لذلك بامكانك أخذ قسط من الراحة لكن Queensway تحتوي على المتاجر ، المطاعم والعديد من محطات مترو الأنفاق فقط على بعد مبنيين. الغرفة كانت صغيرة لكنها نظيفة. الافطار ملائم ومشمول بسعر الغرفة. وبشكل عام الطاقم كان جيداً. واجهنا موظف استقبال غير متعاون لكن تم تعويضه من قبل عامل الصيانة. لقد نسيت ان اسأل عن اسمه لكنه انجز لنا الكثير لا تنسوا ان تعطونه بقشيشاً جيداً ان رأيتموه.

THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN BUT VERY COMPACT & SMALL.LOCATION NEAR TO ALL SUITABLE LONDON TRANSPORT &CENTRAL LONDON.WC & SHOWER WAS CLEAN.THE T.V. & THE LIGHTS DID WORK .THESE WERE THE POSITIVE ASPECTS,NOW FOR THE NEGATIVE ASPECTS, QUALITY OF SERVICE WAS POOR,WINDOWS WERE HARD TO OPEN,THE TAP ON THE SINK WAS HANGING OFF,NO WATER IN SINK TAP, NO ELECTRIC POWER TO THE FRIDGE,ELECTRIC HEATER DID NOT WORK,HAIR DRYER DID NOT WORK,THE BED SLIDE FORWARD EVERY TIME YOU LEANED AGAINST THE WALL BECAUSE OF THE WOODEN FLOORING.EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS A LAST MINUTE DEAL I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED ON ARRIVAL TO THIS HOTEL. ALL THE INFORMATION THAT WAS PLACED ON THE WEBSITE BY THE HOTEL IS PARTIALLY FALSE AND A VERY INACCURATE DESCRIPTION OF THIS HOTEL .THIS IS OUR THOUGHTS.

Easy to get there. Just 5 minutes walk from the subway. Nice neighborhood. Breakfeast ok but it was noisy.

Hotel was clean however they could not find an Iron in the whole hotel and it was over priced for what is was

HOTEL IS LOCATED IN NICE NEIGHBORHOOD BUT HAS BAD ROOMS. BEDS HAVE WHEELS SO ITS NEVER STABLE AND KEEPS MOVING ON ITS OWN. WE WERE PUT IN BASEMENT FLOOR WHICH ALSO SUCKED.

Very small room for $230. Found a much cheaper on in paddington the following night (Castleton). Unlike queens park it had free wifi. Queens park was too expensive for the size of the room and didn't have free wifi. Wouldn't go back. Plasma tv was 19". Worked out ok because it was me and a buddy but would not go back. Underground is close so that was a plus but you can find cheaper hotels that are nicer with free wifi.

Good central location however hotel facilities struggled to meet needs of number of people staying. 2 tiny lifts holding 2/3 people were nowhere near enough. Breakfast space and food bar again were far too small for number of people it had to serve. My Tv was set too high on the wall to get any picture but I was advised I would get a good picture if I watched it through the mirror.

Breakfast was good but other than that the stay was very basic...room had no windows. Location is right off queensway tube line (central line) so centrally accessible. Perfect if going to stay 8 or less hours in the room.

Can't really fault this place, it is quite basic but is centrally located, clean and staff are all friendly. Would recommend without a problem.

The Hotel, was enjoyable. Only small quibbles, which could be specific to my room. The overall cleanliness was very good, a couple of scuff marks on the walls (one odd spot on the middle of the wall, far side of the bed. The linens clean and fresh, bath towels full, only fault was the lack of a face flannel. Bath was indeed small but efficient, there was a shelf mounted above the basin for toiletries, instead of having to perch them on the corners of the basin. A point of favour. The room was designated for a single, and it was very compact, but adequate for one person. The "Teasmade" was sufficient, though only 1 teabag and 1 sachet of coffee were provided daily. The room info book indicated 5 channels of digital TV available, (BBC1,2,ITV, and Ch 4 and 5) but only BBC 1,2 came in, others were scrambled signals. The Dining Room is spartan, the buffet arrangement was very congested. Breafast was good, though no brown sauce available. Best to go early or late (7-8, or 9-10), becomes very crowded during the 8 o'clock hour (they could not keep up with table bussing or keep the croissant basket full). The street is quiet street of Georgian terraces. (Local map in Queensway and Bayswater Tube stations showed hotel location). An abundance of restaurants, minimarkets, within a 2 minute walk on Queensway, many of which remain open late in the night. Neighborhood seems quite safe, and clean. I would recommend this hotel and return again.

we only used the hotel as a crash pad. It was in a decent location and only took 10 mins to get into central London. (hotel in zone2) The luggage holding service was really handy and it only cost £1!!!!!! If you need a value hotel then you can't really go wrong

The hotel offered good value for the price charged. The breakfast buffet was excellent, hot and plentiful food and beverages on a self serve basis. However for a couple more pounds it would be nice to have a soap/shampoo shelf in the shower stall, and a bedside table wider than a telephone. Internet was provided at £5 for 3 hrs or £10 for 24 hours of actual usage. The former being too little time and the latter being way too much for an overnight stay. If you don't log out on the log out page, you are charged even though your computer is turned off. A better system would be to charge £5/day whether used or not and allow more than one device to access the net. For example your computer AND a smartphone. The two elevators were minuscule, one would not accommodate me and my case at the same time. Reception and check-out staff were courteous and efficient.

Rooms very clean and the location of the hotel is perfect. Just two minutes walking from queensway station.

Room was small but no worse than any other budget hotel in London ive stayed in (Single room). Room decorated nicely although one of the handles was missing from the window and the other was broken. The room was hot when I got there but I was able to turn the Radiator off and room was then ok. Like others have said the doors allow noise in from the corridoor in and the 2 lifts are very small but there is only 5 floors I think, I was on the fourth and it didnt seem that there were that many steps to get up. Cant comment on the Breakfast as I didnt try it, but it did appear to be busy each day when I went passed so you may have to wait for a table. There is a shop/petrol station just around the corner which seems to be ok late (not sure if 24hours) which is handy if you want to get a drink or snack late at night, its also close to Queensway Tube. Overall a nice stay.

Hotel was very handy for Queensway tube station, 2 mins walk away, nice neighbourhood, also handy for Kensington Gardens. Hotel seemed well maintained, room was small, but clean. OK if not spending much time in hotel room. Breakfast was reasonable, choice of rolls, toast, 2 types of cereal, 2 types of fruit, with sausage, egg, tomato, beans, mushrooms as the hot option. Would consider staying here again, though have stayed in nicer hotels nearby.

Hotel was central to our plans, pleasant and helpful staff, room good apart from noise from fans (external) all night. coffee and tea v good, excellent breakfast and value for money. I'd recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues. Thank you.

Room was clean and ok,however the pipes over the bedroom were I belive needing bleeding as the noise was awful when any other rooms used the water system. I would have stayed there again but i cannot recommend it because of this disturbence.

Good value for money. The best: Clean, small, simple and nice room. Location. Nice staff. The worst: Breakfast to be improved and it was noisy (corridors too narrow). I'd recommend it when you travel with a small budget.

Very frendly staff we had a great stay

We were in a rtoom near to rewception and a very noisy door that kept us awake most of the night as other guests enterered or left the hotel. Breakfask cold.

We had a very nice 2 night stay with a very good plentiful breakfast each morning. Our room was comfortable if a little small, the service was excellent and the hotel's location is ideal, with tube stations and Kensington Gardens a five minute walk away.

I was in need of somewhereto stay in London for a night to attend a job interview. This hotel was good value, clean, well located. The room was small but comfortable, and for just the one night's bed and breakfast, quote adequate indeed. I would stay here again quite happily.

This was a fantastic hotel for the price (reduced rate in January). I was expecting a lot less for what we paid. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were clean. Breakfast was fantastic, the best I've had by far in a London hotel. The only minor issue is that the doors to the rooms are not very soundproof so you can esily hear people walking down the corridors to their rooms, but this wasn't really a problem.

Very enjoyable time at hotel. Staff very nice Room 218 comfortable but over furnished. One Person ok but Two people would be very cramped

Really good breakfast. Friendly staff in reception. We wished at little smile from the working staff to breakfast. Hotel is placed central - near bus, metro, park, shopping. We would like to recomind this hotel.

Convenient with easy access to 3 undergrounds, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Rooms not over large but adequate. Good hotel for price.

i could not sleep at all for the noise. but very clean hotel, and very kind hotel desk employees

Booked a single room but was given a family-size room with two double beds. Decor in basement corridor and stairs bit worn and tired, but room very clean and good-sized, modern en-suite with toiletries provided. Was in basement but not a problem security-wise as had bars on windows. May have posed a problem in summer if want curtains open, but not on a dark, winter night. Only criticism of room is that could only find two power sockets, one which was used for kettle. Extremely inadequate for a large family room. Hotel Reception very helpful. Arrived early as was transferring from another hotel. They stored my luggage no problem at no charge. Breakfast good, hot and plentiful. Was on a "deal" so very happy with rate and, as solo female guest, would definitely stay there again based on this experience.

The room was tiny; we couldn't fit our suitcases in it so one of us had to store it in the bathroom. Two out of three mornings there was no hot water! The only good things where the comfy beds and the location.

initially in noisy basement room but then moved to quiet room- much better! some staff not helpful but then the concieage became involved and fixed the situation. good location

close to great restaurants and transport. elevators need up grading!!! some staff super efficient- some need to be given lessons in customer communication! would i stay again? -probably not

Rooms were a bit small but that's to be expected in most European cities. Great location, just a two minute walk from the tube station. Found the staff very friendly. Pity it didn't have a bar or restaurant but there were a few nearby. Overall, a very good experience and the price was good too.

The location of the Queens Park hotel is wonderful- near Hyde Park, underground stations, shopping and restaurants. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful with everything. The room was just as described, and though it was a bit small, by London standards it was to be expected. The breakfast was more than adequate, and certainly more than what you normally get for continental fare. That along with the great price made it a location I definitely will go back to.

booked a twin room .given a double room told to manage and would give me a extra blanket .said no twins left after 20min arguing they found one the atitude of this member of staff was very poor .

location is great, 2 train lines within 2-3 minutes walk,buses,shopping,supermarkets, banks, restaurants, park. It was easy to get to any destination. All popular sightseeing within a few train stations. It was a lift in the hotel and hot breakfast was provided. I stayed for 1 and 2 nights within a month and both rooms were small but clean and comfortable with kettle and TV, bathrooms with modern appliances and spotless clean.Staff was friendly and helpful.

we stayed 2 nights. 1st night was a joke. Room was very small. Bathroom was more like a broom closet. No remote for TV and none available at reception and none of the staff knew how to work the TV manually. We eventually had to work it out ourselves. I went to have a shower and the shower head fell off! Again none of the 2 night staffers knew how to fix it and we were told no other rooms were available so all we could do was ask for our money back the next day! After some persuasion one of the night staff found several shower heads and got one to work. However the next day we were moved to another room which had just been refurbished. This was better but again still very small room.

noisy with a pump outside window all night, not up to standard expected, stuffy, only a small window, no TV remote, so couldn't work tv easily, but shower and toilet facilities were good. Breakfast average. Good location which is why we chose it.

The hotel is in an excellent location, and breakfast was very good. The rooms were too miniature, and some of them had a window that outlooked onto a wall. We had to change rooms three times to get something suitable, and that had a window that looked out onto the street. The staff were excellent, very helpful, and the room was nice and clean.We will be cancelling our booking for a months time, as the rooms are just too small.
