Queens Park Hotel - لندن

The staff was always pleasant and our room was clean. The hotel building is very old. They have done their best to update but I think the rating should be two stars and not three. Rooms are very small but we only used it for sleeping. Hotel is only two short blocks to the Queensway Tube station. The breakfast buffet was adequate but nothing fancy. Two VERY small elevators service the building and run very slow, so expect to be patient in catching one up or down.

Hotel started off promising, letting us check in early. When we saw the lift we knew it was going to be bad, too tiny for 2 people and 2 bags. We stayed in the "renovated" part of the hotel but it was CHEAPLY done and TINY room. No luggage stand so they had to go on the floor. Linens were DIRTY and sheet kept coming loose b/c they used a flat sheet instead of a fitted one. No side lamp so you had the overhead light on or nothing. Mattress was hard as a rock and pillows flat as pancakes. Wi-fi is not free and was told this very rudely by woman at front desk. Finally on the last day the shower broke and TV didnt work anymore and when we told the front desk they seemed unconcerned and unapologetic. Only good point to this hotel was free buffet breakfast and convenient location. There were other hotels on the same street, I am sure one could do WAY better than this at about the same price. KEEP LOOKING!

We had a good stay at the Queens Park Hotel. It is on a quiet street so you can get your rest but Qweensway has shops, restaurants and several tube stations just 2 blocks away. Room was small but clean. Included breakfast was convenient. Staff overall was good. We did have one unhelpful desk clerk but that was more than made up by the concierge/bellhop/maintenance guy. I forgot to ask for his name but he got a lot done for us, be sure to tip him well if you see him.

We had a BAD experience with Queen's Park Hotel, and would not recommend it. There were plus sides: the hotel staff were friendly, and the location is excellent. However, the hotel is undergoing extensive maintenance work, and we were given a freezing cold room in the basement. Upon complaining, we were moved to another floor. I have never seen a hotel breakfast so dull. But worst of all: On our way home, we discovered that we had been bitten by BED BUGS, and it appears they have come home with us! A quick web search also shows that they have had complaints about bed bugs before, but the problem has obviously not been resolved. They did not even respond to our e-mail complaint. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!

Hotel was one of the cheapest in the center but maintenance and room were quite bad. I recomment for backpackers!!!

Hey, before I booked that Hotel I called up all the ratings and was a little nervous how it would be because the ratings started with very good evaluations but also really bad ones. Now I made my own opinion and I really enjoyed my stay there. The people at the reception and the concierge were very courteous and I had always a good laugh with them. The room itself was small but neat and tidy and very quiet. The area the hotel is located is absolutely excellent because it´s very close to the metro station Bayswater and it was also a nice area to start sightseeing and go out in the evenings (ex. pub prince Alfred, Queens Ice And Bowl | Bowling, Ice Skating, Karaoke). The breakfast offers a small selection but thats fine. The elevator is very tiny and slow but frankly it doesnt matter because I didnt spent so much time in the elevator ! Overall the price-quality ratio deserves a very good !! So, I will stay again in that hotel when Im London !!

I have been to London many times, and overall I have had good experiences with hotels, but this hotel leaves a bad sensation. The staff is not very nice, except for Guest Relations, the buffet is ok, nothing special and the rooms are small. The alarm went on at 7.00 am I rushed my family to leave the room, but after a while it went off, no one explained what happened or apologized for that, very strange.

Only issue i had with this hotel was that my basement room was close to the boiler room and you could hear the room in the room and in the corridor. Also there was a slight smell of sewerage in the basement corridor en route to and from the room. That was the only issue i had...

The rooms are not sound proof and we could hear people walking past and banging the fire exit door after every 5 mins. We had to wait 35 mins at reception before we got served. The staff was extremely rude. our flight landed 2 hours early at 12pm we got to the hotel at 1 and we still weren't allowed to check in until 2pm. I have been to many hotels in London and would never recommend this one to anyone! I have never seen this type of service before. extremely poor.

Queens Park Hotel- Very close to sub stastion, Queensway. Just 5 minuts walk. We stayed here 1 night. It's a nice and ok hotel. Little bit old but if you think about the price, it`s not so bad. The breakfast was not so good. Everything else was ok.

A very unfriendly woman working there. Doesn't know how to say "hello" and how to explain things. Tiny elevators, 2 people with 2 cases wouldn't fit. The room itself is damaged (walls), a lamp was missing and the floor next to the main door was crooked, so that under the door there was a big gap. For a very short stay (1 night) it's OK, but I wouldn't recommend this Hotel for entire holidays.

Excellent value. Buffee breakfast included, busy but tables cleared quickly and staff regularly filled hot food trays. Easy access to bus routes(24hr) Noise levels from outside moderate but late night guests can be heard in neighbouring rooms. Overall served our one night stay well.

worst hotel I have stayed in. Bed bugs, appalling beds, really old, dreadful mattresses, bitten by bed bugs, 3 bites on arm. room small and squalid, never again

Within 5 minutes walk to Queensway and Bayswater undergrounds. Quiet location. Renovations taking place on the outside, of which we were not advised meant scaffolding and cladding around the window. The room was extremely hot, dark and airless. A wide range of age groups and nationalities were staying here. Excellent buffet breakfast of fruit, yogurt, beans, sausages scrambled egg and toast. Helpful and cheery staff. I would stay here again but would seek confirmation that my room does not resemble an inside ships cabin without airconditioning.

Good hotel, nice breakfast, electric heater in the room, close enough to Bayswater tube station. Staff not very friendly and it seemed every question I asked seemed an inconvenience.

The breakfast offering was splendid and the location was superb. The bathroom had no plug in the bath rather like the Soviet Union and one could only get into the bath around the shower screen with extreme difficulty. The instructions for the safe were out of date and I had to call for assistance on this which was promptly provided. The hotel is good value for money for a widower with no family or a student.

I don´t recommend this hotel to no one. Staff were very rude and arrogant and in the rooms are living bedbugs!

Based on previous reviews we didn't expect too much, and we weren't disappointed. The room was reasonably sized, but the bed wasn't good. This could be improved. It is ridiculous that you have to pay to access the wi-fi. Breakfast was good. Eggs, beans mushrooms, tomatoes, two cereals, croissants, breadrolls, two different kinds of sandwich bread, apple and orange juice, two kinds of youghurt, coffee and tea. We can't and won't complaint about this. The location was excellent, close to the tube and close to Kensington Gardens. All in all a place we would choose again if we were to go back. Just don't expect too much, as you don't pay for it!!

stayed for 2 nights. our request for a floor level room was given which is good. however, the room have ALOT of fruit flies. The flies were there since we checked in. We did not buy any food products nor fruits in the room. no heating in the room as well. Second night was so cold. stay here only if you are on a shoestring budget. Breakfast menu does not change so its the same for every morning. Hotel staff is professional and efficient. storage of luggage is 1 pound a bag.

The hotel was in a good location situated in a quiet street close to the underground and Hyde park. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was adequate but basic, but could have been cleaner. Breakfast was OK but a bit chaotic with insufficient tables for peak times. I would use this Hotel again for one or two nights, but not a longer stay.

Very good location, this was our 2nd stay, Good Breakfast. My only corncern was that as we were leaving early in the morning, i asked for a packed breakfast and the man at the reception said that this is not available.

This hotel was ideally situated. Their are tube stations within walking distance, main road with bus route into central London within walking distance, and Kensington gardens is right down the street for a nice relaxing time. In the next street their are several shops and restaurants. The Hotel reception is welcoming and the concierge went out of his way to be of assistance to us. The breakfast is the same everyday, however it is sufficient for a good breakfast. The lifts, passages, staircases and rooms are very small. My husband and I travelled with our toddler, so it was an even tighter fit with the camping cot in the room, but you don't spend much time in the room, and for the price and location I would definately recommend it and I would most definately stay there again when visiting London.

The location of this hotel is great as there is access to the underground, you are acrosss the road from Kensington Gardens and on the street over there is lots of shops & restaurants. However, the staff were not greatly attentive and often left you standing by reception. When we were first given the keys to our hotel room we were not given the appropriate directions so got lost (room 14 is on the 3rd floor?)! Other than that the rooms are clean and nicely decorated, but the breakfast choice is very disappointing. Overall a good value for money hotel in central London.

The hotel buiding is very old actually. They are now under renovation and new paint was put on the outdoor wall. In my stay the next block was under rennovation and scafoldding was set. Since there is no air conditioner and ventilation facility (except a small ventilation outlet in toilet) installed in the room, I had to open the window for fresh air. I was so worried about security of my staying as anyone could easily climb up the scaffolding (The building is only 5-storey high) and enter my room through the opened window. The heating system of the room was not functioning as well. The temperature was just 4-10 degree in London during my stay. There is no switch in the room for the heating system and it was not turned on centrally. The bedding was also very old. There is no covering for the blanket. The toilet and the shower area was so small that it is difficult to move in there. The clothing cabinet door cannot be closed if you hang some coat in there as it it too narrow to fit the hanger. They also charged me 1 pound for each piece of luggage I keep in the temporary storage after my checkout. May be they need to earn additional money for their rennovation. I don't know why this hotel can be rated 3-star.

My television did not work and I had to repack and transfer to another room because no clicker could be found. The staff were courteous and did their best but surely tvs should be working before guests arrive. I hope my next stay at the hotel where I booked for another stay will be less hassle. Breakfast was not taken on my stay because the breakfast bar opened too late for my 8am departure.

We stayed at The Queens Park at the beginning and at the end of our trip to Scotland for Hogmannay, a delightful New Years Eve celebration. The hotel is located a long block from Kensington Gardens, two blocks from a street of restaurants and shops, and a short walk to two different tube stops and Paddington Station. It is off Bayswater Road on a very quiet street. Big breakfast buffet, compact but spotless rooms, and few loud Americans. Perfect.

The hotel is quite cozy and comfortable. It is very quite near to the tube station which only needs 5 minutes walking. Some staffs are very helpful, but some are not very polite. The worst is the house-keeping staff! They start working at 7am by using the vacuum cleaner! The sound proof of room is extremely bad that I can hear the staffs screaming and working every early morning!!! This made my sleep very bad and annoys me a lot!!! Apart from the noise they make, I don't why the hotel has such a bad system: they would knock the door and ask for house keeping! They even opened the door when I was sleeping and didn't respond at once!! It is so horrible!!! I can say the annoying house keeping screw up my whole stay in this hotel, since I even can't have a good sleep at all!

Clean hotel in excellent central location with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was also much better than expected. Only downside was that our room wasn't very comfortable. I'm happy with a small room and expect it in city centre hotels. I didn't even mind that the bed was pushed against the wall but I do like a comfortable bed to sleep in. Our bed wasn't. The mattress was soft and lumpy and didn't give any support at all. Luckily we were only staying a couple of nights so could cope with it but I could not have slept on the bed for much longer without my back starting to hurt. I've given the hotel a fairly high rating taking into account it's location and the price ... if we had had a good bed then it would have got 5 stars. Queens Park Hotel - if you read these reviews then please replace your bedding!

There are no bedlamps in the room. A disaster if you want to relax after a long day reading books etc. The bathroom is very nice, and the shower excellent. They could offer some small shelf to put things on in the bathroom. The central heating wnet on and off so we actually used the electrical heater as well. Without heating on we culd have use a blanket more (3 perons i a 3 person room). The hotel could not provide us with bedlamps, blankets or reparing of the heating system. The place was relatively quiet (some midst December merriness in the streets though - but we slept well) and very close to the tubestations Queensway and Bayswater. Plus buses (94 to Oxford Street). And close to Kensington Gardens/Hyde park, to have a morning jog is also an extra advantage. Most things are Plus and a few Minus'es.

This hotel tried hard but there were some challenges. It was under renovations and the noise very early each morning was very annoying. Many of the rooms had no WiFi signal. In general the hotel was not very clean and many of the rooms/beds were in poor condition. The breakfast sausage and the coffee were horrible. On the upside the staff were very courteous and helpful. They tried there very best to overcome every challenge posed by the hotels poor condition.

They put us in a room in the basement with a fan going on all night somewhere behind the wall (I wish I had earplugs!). They were supposed to wake us up in the morning by they forgot. Staff were polite, but overall it is not worth it.

I stayed a double room for only myself. Spacious,clean, nice staff at reception. easy to get tubes and buses to central London. Hot and strong pressure shower made me happy. I will stay again for the next visit.

BEDROOM CRAMPED WITH BED AGAINST WALL SO GETTING IN BOTH SIDES IMPOSSIBLE.CRUMBS ON FLOOR WHEN WE ARRIVED AND STILL THERE 2 DAYS LATER.BATHROOM SMALL WITH SHOWER THAT DRIBBLED LUKE WARM WATER.HAD TO REQUEST A PLUG FOR BASIN.BREAKFAST AVERAGE AND NOT KEPT TOPPED UP.CONVENIENT POSITION FOR TUBE AND BUSES.
