decent crash pad for Masters week, otherwise stay away

While the room was satisfactory, we were on the second level, could not change to the first floor, and did not have an elevator or handicap access

Clean, had all the basics. Nice staff.

The hotel was a comfortable stay, it did the job for one night. Will probably stay again.

For the price it was not a bad place to stay at all. The clerks were friendly and very willing to help when I had issues connecting to wireless. I would stay there again no problem. The room was clean, but old so don't go in excepting the Hilton. Even though it was old it was still nicely presented and worked for my two night stay. It's close to mall and downtown.

I will stay there again next year. Very reasonable priced & clean!

I know is not a Ritz Carlton, neither a Hilton or Marriott, but nevertheless....I have stayed at Radisson and Hampton Inn for about the same price in other cities and have received way a LOT much better service and better rooms. The room was ugly and dirty.....and the WORST thing that happened to me was that no matter the check-out is at 11, I left the room earlier but planing in coming back. So I left some foods in the room to get them later because in the car could get warmer and spoil earlier. So I was back at my room at 10:30 am and they were cleaning the room and had throw away my food because they ASSUMED I left for good.

We chose this motel because of proximity to The Masters in Augusta, GA. For the price, the hotel was ok - just a good, basically clean motel. In error, I did not choose a non-smoking room, and the room we were given was a smoking room and smelled like it. Very unpleasant for a non-smoker, and they were not able to give us a different room due to heavy volume of visitors. The young lady at the front desk was not very friendly, and seemed a bit put out that I asked for a different room, and when told not available, asked for disinfectant to spray the room in hopes of reducing the smell. Overall, I got what I asked for and the price I agreed upon, but the hospitality was somewhat lacking.

the rooms where clean and the personell where very helpfull and kind. better coffee and pots tv. chanells not acurate.

Motel was convienent nice location. Rooms were clean. Older motel but we were satisfied. I would stay at motel again.

I will never book a HoJo hotel again. This was only because we needed a place to stay before going to the Masters. It was dirty, uncomfortable bed, very noisy, and we had to wait an extra hour before the crew started cleaning the rooms - they were lying down in the lobby area on their break. Drive an extra distance and get a better place for the same or less.

In a good location with several good restaurants close by. The check-in staff was very personable. Would definitely stay here again

After checking in and going to the room, I immediately called and made a reservation with another hotel. I would not touch anything in the room and the room was aweful.

Love this little hotel. Great staff, clean rooms, quick fixes if problems and very convient. Lovely horse oriented town!

I had paid for three guests, but was only given two towels to use. I did not get a chance to see the housekeeper.

At first everything appeared to be good, but ... The freezer needed defrosted. I asked for extra towels, she said she'd bring them and I never received them. I asked for an ashtray (I don't smoke inside and wanted one for outside instead of tossing my butts on the ground) she said she'd bring it, I never got that either. When I attempted to use the microwave on our last night there, it did not work. I even tryed unplugging it. And then our three year old ran his truck under the bed and there was somebody elses sexy night thing under there. They did make the bed every day and put up fresh towels, but after that find, I really questioned the cleanliness of the place. Oh. And breakfast? When I went at 10 to 9 to grab something, there where three people putting it all away in a rush. Nothing left out except some apples and eight runny dougnuts. No coffee left, either. Next year we will be staying somewhere else, thank you.

This hotel may not be the Ritz but it is a safe and quiet place to stay. I read reviews on other sites and was a bit worried at first. After check in the staff was so courteous and really went out of their way to make sure I had a good experience. This included getting a phone call to make sure I was happy with everything. It's sad that so many people that have bad experiences write reviews as the good experiences go undocumented. In short, if your looking for a good and affordable place to sleep then stop looking and reserve a room here. I will stay here for every trip I have to aiken in the future.

For the price that you pay for this hotel it is a great place to stay. I felt safe and I was comfortable. You might need extra pillows but other than that I had pure comfort and joy. The room was clean and the room was very spacious. I will be staying here again.

This is a nice hotel for the price. It has spacious king size rooms. I will be staying here everytime I visit SC. I go 3 to 4 times a year. They check with you daily to see if you need anything and to make sure your room is cleaned. They even go as far as calling you when you check in to make sure you recieved the room you ordered. That is great service to me. i cant say how the breakfast is because I can never get up on time for that.

The only problem I had was with the beds, they were a little hard and the pillows were a little thin. The overall experience was great. There was ample space in the rooms for both myself and a guest to move around freely. This hotel is great for the price and it is near a mall and plenty eateries.

We were very pleased with our room. It was large, comfortable and cleam. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were much nicer than they looked in the pictures. We were pleasantly surprised. The only complaint we had, was really not the motels fault, but we had very noisy neighbors because of a crying baby. As a father of 5, been there, done that. We just waited for the baby to go to sleep.

Based on 3 nights total experience during two stays. Room was of a good size with couch and king-sized bed. Table was large and excellent for using a laptops. Pool was clean, but needs better cutting of nearby shrubs. Gold's Gym use a plus. Registered online for one adult and two children (my sons), but found as when I stayed there before, that the towels were set up for only two people. Pillows were small - so bring an extra one. Continental breakfast was very minimal - skimpy - tiny donuts, never seems to be any decaf coffee there or in the room - and the batter for waffles runs out early. Could add bagels or muffins. There are some similar motels in the Aiken that are cheaper and about the same otherwise. I will look at those again. This mainly had a bigger room. On other counts, this one should lower their price or raise their quality a bit.

The bedding could be better pillows and bed not comfortable at all. It resembles too much like a Days Inn. The grass outside the fence needs to be cut or done away with. Bathroom and shower too small. It will do for a one night stay.
