Courtyard By Marriott Ann Arbor - آن أربور

This was the 2nd visit to a Courtyard by Marriott for me that week (previous night was in a Chicago area Courtyard). Great renovated lobby and reception area. Rooms were relatively updated - but clean. The staff was very helpful. The front desk went out of his way to help me find some AAA batteries.

Each summer I go to the Ann Arbor Art Fair. Unfortunately it never allows me enough time to look in the local shops. That was my mission for this trip. The location of this hotel was perfect. I was able to get downtown quickly and without hassle. The lobby is beautiful. The staff was very friendly. The bed was so soft and comfortable which is typically not the case. The only odd thing was the sink in our room would gurgle off and on but thankfully did not do so during the night.

I only stayed for one night, but I was very happy with the quality of the room. The hotel is in a rut of other hotels of varying pedigrees. I was traveling for business, but it also seemed to be in a great location for visiting the university. I took in a basketball game while I was there, and the arena was not too far. It was very clean, and significantly more modern than it looked. WIfi was OK, but could have been stronger. Best of all were the staff. They were incredibly helpful and friendly during my short stay, even finding a way to help me out when I realized I had forgotten a charger for my phone. I could see a longer stay there going well.

This is the second time in a month we have stayed at this hotel as part of my daughter's college audition circuit and we were even more impressed with our second stay. The staff are unfailingly friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making your stay the best it can be. We had to add a second night to our stay as the result of a very big snow event and not only did the hotel allow us to stay in the same room but also honoured our hotels.com rate. The rooms are spacious, clean and well apppointed, the hotel is located close to the University, near lots of great restaurants and just a short drive to the centre of all that Ann Arbor has to offer. It is excellent value for the money.

Everyone was super friendly, the room and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. They made it easy and free to print out our boarding passes in the lobby before we left. It has easy access to the freeway and it's not far to downtown Ann Arbor with a car, so the location is fine as long as you're not planning to walk to town.

We stayed there while visiting Ann Arbor for Thanksgiving. I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel. Coffee awaited us every morning in the lobby. The pool, hot tub, and exercise room were well maintained and equally well used. Wi-Fi was complimentary.

We were all so impressed with how helpful the staff was during our stay. They were most accommodating and went out of their way to help satisfy the younger members of our group. Great pool and work out facility.

very surprised i had to pay for breakfast very low class for such a high class place will not stay there anymore.

As a frequent business traveler, I often stay at Courtyard Marriotts because they are clean, offer great food/bar options, and have the amenities (free Wi-Fi etc) I'm looking for. My primary complaint about this particular Courtyard was that when set to "automatic" the heater in the room never turned off at the set temperature, it switched to air. In other words, it ran all night long in order to maintain the same temperature. The constant noise disrupted my sleep and I woke up with a wicked head cold from the frequent cold air. If you aren't temperature sensitive, you'd probably be fine. Clean, nice staff (a few in training so weren't as knowledgeable as most staffers), and great location especially to Main St in Ann Arbor/U of M.

The staff at our last stay was top notch from check-in until checkout. We had a one year old and every staff member fawned over her and gave us extra help. Keep that staff! Nice room and very helpful crib delivery.

Perfect location for the Ann Arbor Art Fest! Easy to find. Was a very nice stay. Should have continental or full breakfast included for the price.

Arrived around 7:30 a.m. Friday, May 11th. The front desk lady was the best customer service I have ever encountered. We arrived early from driving 9 hours and check in wasn't until 3 but we got to get right into our room. I am so very thankful! On Saturday, May 12th, the gentleman was cleaning another room down the hall and stopped what he was doing and helped clean my son's hotel room while they went out for breakfast. He didn't speak english but understood and made their beds, replaced all towels, etc. Great man and great service. My sons mentioned that there was blood? on the bathroom ceiling in their room. That was the only reason I rated cleanliness a 3 instead of a 5.

Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff. Not fancy but relatively updated/trendy. Only complaints are the view from our room was odd; it was as if we were in a garden view room, a rocky rooftop was level with our window even though we were on the 2nd floor. Stayed here a few times and there have been zero towels by the pool both times. Would still stay again, the complaints are FAR from deal breakers. Nice place to turn a University of Michigan football game into a nice romantic getaway for the remainder of the weekend.

My friends and I stayed here during our weekend trip to Ann Arbor and it was wonderful. Clean, convenient and comfortable, I definitely recommend staying here! Their breakfast was reasonably priced, the lobby provided ample seating for all guests and there was complimentary coffee each morning. We didn't get a chance to take advantage of the indoor pool, but our room overlooked the courtyard and it was very clean and neat. Overall, an excellent hotel for the cost and location.

Very comfy beds in our two-bed room. Cheerful service at reception and breakfast bar. Attractive room furnishings. Nice view of patio. (Room 308)

Full size mattresses are outdated choice. Wished for a Queen.

Location was great. Lobby newly remodeled and beautiful. Room was spacious and well appointed. On the disappointing side, the room smelled heavily of carpet fresh. Whoever hung Bathroom wallpaper must have had blindfold on. Lobby offered Overpriced breakfast sandwiches and overpriced Starbucks. Not bad all in all. Would probably stay again.

Located in a business park-like collection of hotels and restaurants, you are 5 minutes from Michigan stadium and 10 minutes from campus. Hotel is clean with large, functional rooms and a lively large lobby area. Internet is included with room which is a plus. No breakfast is included but the breakfast area has reasonable choices for a hot or cold breakfast and the prices are fair, not the usual hotel gouge. Overall highly recommended. Oh...and GO BLUE!

Close to freeway exit, mall, restaurants and university. A great location, although set back off the main street enough to make it a little challenging to find at first. Very clean, comfortable and a friendly staff.

Did not find hotel friendly-they were a bit full of themselves. Weekend we were there- road construction- was told to park across way at Wendy's-but didn't appear too safe location for vehicle-had chosen this hotel as it had "secured parking".

My family and I stopped in this hotel for a night in our way to Chicago. Very family friendly, clean, very good customer services, Internet and amenities (very nice pool and yard, gym) We had a very relaxing night ( those matrices were very conformable - My Mother in-Law loved it!...this is a real complement!... The full breakfast is included and you will love it!. Do not hesitate to book this hotel for your future stay

There was a fire on my floor in the middle of the night I stayed. The hotel was evacuated. I later learned from hotel staff that it was an electrical fire from hotel room heater/fan. There was no fire alarm or room strobe activated and I sleep with a white noise device... sometimes earplugs but luckily not that night. I was awakened after several announcements overhead speaker in hallway but could not understand what was said so went out in the hall to find it quite smoky. No one else was in the hall so I wasn't sure where it was coming from and what exit to take or if it was under control or not. Front desk not answer phone so I opened door again and saw fire fighter who told me to leave the building and what exit to take which I did. It appeared to me I was one of the last to get out as the lobby was full. It seemed to be a minor fire and we were allowed back in rooms an hour or so later but I was concerned that hotel staff did not think it necessary to activate the full fire alarm and room strobe. I felt the night staff should have put someone in charge of the desk phone even if it was a guest to give evacuation instructions to callers. There were obviously others still in rooms because the desk phone was ringing non-stop but not answered. From now on I will always take notice of emergency exits and info provided in room.

Very helpful and friendly staff. hotel was more like an inn. Location not great despite there being a number of hotels in the vicinity. No restaurants or shops close by. Have to book a taxi in advance

If you are looking for a newer, more contemporary looking 3 star hotel that is clean and inviting, this is it. Rooms are not large but adequate and very pleasant.

Hotel is in process of remodeling and we were disturbed sleeping on both nights of our stay.

4 on a scale of 5 (as I rate this hotel) is not bad. It is not a luxury hotel, but is a good upscale hotel where everything is new (or looks new) and is very clean. Larger than average room, though not huge. A good but limited restaurant, now open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is not free. But the restaurant serves a breakfast of reasonable price. A park and ride location for the Art Fair is about six blocks away. Staff were very accommodating. We will stay here again, on our next trip to Ann Arbor.
