Floris Hotel Arlequin Grand Place - بروكسل

Hotel reception was warm and accommodating. We stayed in a triple room with comfortable beds and fresh linen. However, the carpets and window curtains need to be freshen up. Window sills are in dire need of dusting. Average breakfast with a good view of at 7th Floor. The hotel is near Midi Station but bear in mind that you'll be walking on cobblestone streets. It is a very short walk to Grand Place, Mannekin Pis (and his sister). Les Galeries St Hubert, and chocolate shops.

We loved this hotel, it's location and the breakfast! We'll be back!

Semi-pedestrian zone, so no car or taxi access. In fact taxi refused to drive me there from the Central station. If you have a lot of luggage or during bad weather, the 5 min walk from train or metro station might be unpleasant. Very friendly and relaxed attitude of staff is nice, but it extends to luggage room: the staff simply open the luggage room door and let you inside alone and leave or pick any luggage you wish, no receipt given or required.

So the Hotel indeed is in the center, but the room was dirty, dust in the corners, very-very tiny, no mini bar. I would not reccomend it, better pay tick more or book a hotel a bit far from city center - you can walk as Brussels is not a big city. Breakfast was very poor, but view is very nice.

To be fair to the Floris, seemed as we did our research before travelling that Brussels is an expensive city The calibre of hotel we normally use are the Westins, Marriotts, etc but in this case they seemed very expensive, so we chose the Floris based as much on price as anything. On the plus side it was clean, although cigarette smoke pervaded the whole hotel On the negative side, it was very noisy, surrounded on both sides by alleys in which drinkers and partygoers seemed to make noise through the night. And the room itself, while clean, was small, with the main bed up a very steep wooden ladder in a kind of loft We left the place - gladly - at 6am: a bit too basic for our liking

well the location of this hotel is great one stop away from central station and close to all the attractions. The room itself was descent not the best, the bathtub had mold on it.

Great location. Clean, but small room with view of Grand Place town hall tower . Breakfast (not fantastic, not horrible) included with awesome views of the city center/Grand Place. All in all a good deal for the price and location-- would stay again.

The hotel was in a great location. The rooms seemed to be newly renovated. The staff was very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is not easy to find the hotel at the 1st time. I love the location once I know how to get here. There are many beautiful shops and good places to eat around the area. Station and many focal points of the city in working distance. Most of the open area in the hotel is lovely and clean. My room is not in good condition. I hope that is only for 3-people room. I almost never have good experience checking in a 3-people room in any small hotel. I think it is fare for the price I paid.

Nice hotel with a central location. Very quiet if you can secure a room on the upper floors.

Slightly difficult to find, but the hotel was clean and service was good. We only stayed 1 night, although the negatives were that our room smelt of cigaratte as soon as we opened the door and also if you are a light sleeper, you can hear noice from downstairs. Breakfast was brilliant and the view from the 7th Floor was amazing while having breakfast. Overall not a bad place for a weekend.

We spent two nights there and were very satisfied with everything. Breakfast was very good and there was plenty of everything. The location was perfect for sightseeing and close enough to Metro and Gare Central.

This hotel is a surprise...it is right in the heart of Brussels and 2 minutes from Grand Place. It's on a very quiet street and the hotel is very well kept. The staff is nice and friendly and we got great service. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Floris Hotel is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the Grand Place and the Metro. The staff manning the Reception all speak English and I would like to especially commend the gentleman who worked the morning while we were there. (unfortunately I didn't get his name) He was extremely friendly and helpful. He took time to show us on the map all the attractions in Brussels and how to get to there. Our hotel room did not have a good view but it was clean and spacious.There are lots of restaurants just outside the hotel.The hotel allows guests to store their luggage after checking out. Unfortunately, on our 2nd day at the hotel and even when we checked out a day later, one of the 2 lifts broke down. The power to that lift was not switched off and somehow remained stationary at the floor we stayed on. And when we press the button for the lift, the door of the faulty lift would open but would refuse to move when we got it. With the faulty lift at our floor, the other 'working' would not respond. Several times we had to use the stairs to get to another floor to use the lift. I noticed a lot of guests experiencing the same frustration. Buy your chocolates from the shops around the Grand Place and the lane leading from the Grand Place to the Mannequin Pis offers better choices and bargains. The Atomium is reachable by Metro. The mini Europe next to the Atomium is a disappointment. It is both expensive and not well maintained. It looked like the 'buildings' had never been 'cleaned' since they were erected. On the whole, 2 nights' stay in Brussels is enough.

Could be a good hotel if some attention is given to the following- 1) When we arrived the cobblestone street in front of our hotel was being redone which left a dirt road in places (messy). 2) Lighting in bathroom very dim. 3) Soundproofing lacking- could hear toilet flushing and light switches in room next to ours. 3) The night we checked in, the night manager upgraded us to a junior suite. Unfortunately it hadn't been made up but he gave us another room and promised to have us moved the next day. The next morning a rather surly day manager at first said he knew nothing of the promise. He finally agreed but told us that we must vacate our current room immediately but that we could only check into the junior suite after 3pm. We couldn't be bothered with the hassle. He obviously has a lot to learn about the value of customer satisfaction which in this case has a bearing on my assessment of his hotel.

This hotel is right in the center close to restaurants & shops. Very friendly staff and good service

If you want a place very close to the Grand Place that is reasonably priced and has a friendly staff and is pretty quiet considering the proximity to the action, this is the place. Period.

Location of the hotel is great. Its nearby the grand place and lots of shopping and eating places. Also the public transport is close by. The hotel lies in a small street called La Fourche street. During our stay the street was under construction as well was the surrounding area. This led to some noise during the mornings. Overall stay in the hotel was satisfactory. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately we had to get ourselves a new role of toilet paper cause the maid had forgotten to replace it...

The Hotel is reasonably close situated just near coach station, north train station around 5 -10 minutes walking distanceo from these station. I wouldnt say this hotel is a 3 star, it is located in central Brussels, but very noisy at night, lot of drunk people. i did not like the breakfast service as one of the female staff was very rude and they avoid speaking in English no respect. afer all it is cheap but Ok

The location of the hotel is very convenience but the hotel was rather dirty and specially our room was dirty with a very dirty carpet. However, the recepcionist who is from Marroco was very nice and professional, he helped us finding good places for dinner, was very very attentive with us

Very well located and only a 10 minute walk from train station. Have been staying here for last couple of years when I am going to the Belgium GP. Would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Great location but Horrible breakfast. Dont waste your money

On our journey to this hotel we were mildly anxious due to the previous reviews . When seeing the hotel from the end of the street I sighed but at the entrance all stress was removed as the reception was bright and inviting and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was basic and very clean and on a trip to such a beautiful city who wants to sit in a hotel room anyway. Breakfast was delicious and the dining room has a wonderful view.The location is brillant and the small shop opposite the entrance is very handy. I would go back to this hotel.

Very convenient location, walking distance to train station, very near Grand Place and lots of cafes nearby. The room was comfortable for 3 adults although it was noisy at night from street noise, but there may have been a show or event on close by that night.

This hotel was in the centre of everything with Grand place only a few footsteps away and the main shopping district around a 5 minute walk. loads of restaurants, bars, cafes right outside which made it a little noisy at night but this did not detract from our stay. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were friendly. Although we were unable to check into our room until 3pm which was a bit disappointing. Overall I would definitely stay here again for the location alone!

Nice little hotel in a lively part of Brussels

This hotel is slap bang in the heart of teh torist quarter, minutes from the Grand Place, loads of restaurants and very close to choice of metro stops and the Central Train Station. The hotel is definitely a 3*, no more no less. Rooms are clean but very basic. Breakfast is fine, the setting for which is stunning views over the Grand Place - great way to start the day. Ideal for a short business trip.

Cannot get a better location. Its right beside the Grand Place, restaurants, bars and shops. Hotel staff were very friendly to us and the hotel reception is simply stunning. The rooms could do with a little updating but they are clean and had everything you could need. The view from the top floor is amazing. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

The hotel is located in a very convenient location in central Brussels, albeit on a narrow roughly cobbled street and the first impression, before entering the hotel, is not all good however. It is located beside a discreetly signposted swingers club. Inside, the lobby area is clean and plush. There are elevators to the upper floors. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was pretty basic but clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean but had a strange sewage type smell emanating from the sink and the window was cracked. The breakfast was tasty and served in a lovely dining room on the top floor with nice views over the city. Despite its flaws we enjoyed the hotel and found it to be very good value in an expensive city.

Good hotel very close to la Grand Place in the center of Brussels. Two minutes walk to the square. Hotel is nicely maintained, but exterior looks somewhat run down. Nice and included breakfast buffet on top floor, with great view of the surrounding neighborhood. Rooms nice and tidy but somewhat sparsly equipped. Well functioning WiFi, but annoying €15 charge per day. Friendly and helpful staff.

Stayed here for a couple of nights around Christmas. Great locatoin for sightseeing and Christmas markets. Only a few minutes walk from Grand place. Also, a lot of close places to eat and things to do. Friendly staff and nice people in General around that area. Very clean and comfortable rooms especially for the price! Would reccomend to anyone!

Take earplus if you stay here, noise to all hours of the morning, and dont expect a relaxing breakfast experience.... close to restaurants and bars.

We had a very pleasant stay here. We asked for quiet room and were very pleased with our room. It's a two minute walk from Grand Place, close to metro stations and very close to streets of excellent restaurants. We would definitely use this hotel again.

We picked the hotel because of its proximity to Grand Place and restaurants, shops etc. While that turned out to be true, the expectation of the hotel was not. It was very difficult to find the hotel. It was an old hotel with a strange two level layout which turned out to be more inconvenient than romantic or pleasant. I knew from other reviews (and also based my decision partly on this fact) that the hotel was very close to the central station, but learned that Eurostar did not go to the central station. It goes to Brussels-Midi station which is a good 20 minute walk (a slight hassle if you have to drag a bunch of luggage). I would recommend staying at a more modern hotel closer to the Midi station even if it is a little far from the Grand Place. You can easily take a metro or tram to go to the Grand Place (or walk) and enjoy you time there.

Hotel is very close to Grande Place and very close to lots of restaurants (very touristy and very ordinary restaurants overpriced for what they are). Hotel was clean but rather seedy. No parking on site and its a 5 minute walk from car park - a bit far to drag a suitcase over cobbles.

This hotel is located right in the heart of the city and very convenient to all the major attractions, in the evening has a good buzz about it, only downfall was the breakfast which fell short because of silly oversights like running out of tea and butter and not replenishing bacon , scrambled egg containers etc.. also rude waiter, reception staff friendly and helpful, overall a reasonable hotel.

The hotel is ok for the price. However, next to the hotel there are bars and it is noisy till 1 or 2 am. It does not matter if you close the windows or not it is noisy. Other thing that I did not like it is that everything is small. Small rooms, small bath, small restaurant,elevator etc..The rest was ok.

We picked this hotel for a 3 day stay in Brussels. It's an easy walk from Centraal Station. We made it harder but front desk was accommodating with directions over the phone. We arrived about 10:30 AM after an overnight flight from Dulles, expecting to drop our luggage and come back later to check in. Desk clerk made a special effort to get us into a room right then. We had reserved two twins, knowing that European doubles are usually that--not queens. He had a double immediately available--but it was a queen and more than adequate. We were happy to take it, and astounded that we didn't have to wait until mid-afternoon. Breakfast was good and ample--but you shouldn't expect to get there a half hour before it closes and still have a full selection. View from the breakfast room was great and the service helpful. The area is noisy and impacts all hotels. We were on a bike and barge tour with a later night at the Carrefours where the outside noise prevented sleep. Bring ear plugs to this area if you're sensitive!

Was perfect for our short stay.,... Short walk to the train station and right on restuarant row of Grand Place. Rooms were large and comfortable

Unfortunately, thjey always ran out of breakfast items. The first day they ran out of diet-sugar and for the following two mornings they did not replace. One hour prior to breakfast closing, they ran out of eggs, milk and several other breakfast items. However they had great coffee and a nice view from the breakfast area.

My husband, baby, and I went to Brussels looking to find some good Belgium beer. This was prime location. A block from five awesome pubs and beer stores. Safe area and not alot of traffic.
