The location is a bit far from city center, but I didn't care. Because we arrived at airport past midnight, the hotel is quite near there, and a shuttle bus was waiting for us. the room was large and really clean, I could use hot water satisfactorily. I'd like to go back there again!

I had to travel to Cairo for a work related project and was happy to arrive at the Concorde which had a level of security that was comforting. As a woman traveling alone in Cairo during the political "storm", I felt very safe and sound in the hotel. All staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel lobby is palatial, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast, which was included in the price of the room was extensive and similar to that offered in upscale American hotels. There are multiple restaurants on the hotel grounds and one has to pass thru security and then drive down a long driveway in order to get to the hotel.All that results in feeling quite removed from the normal hustle and bustle of Cairo and, at this time, from the protests in the city center. As an added bonus, I was offered a free upgrade to a pool side room!

Very good hotel. Clean with professional service. Close to the airport. Variety of restaurants. Great food. The best espresso and latte in Cairo. Quiet and secluded hotel in the middle of the busy and crowded Cairo. No specific good views except its own surrounding which is elegantly designed. I enjoyed the relaxing stay before going to my next destination.

My friend lives in nearby Korba neighborhood, also in Heliopolis area, which was easy to get to with 15L.E. (US$3) taxi. One could also walk 20 minutes to the subway. Free airport pickup. The gym was fantastic overlooking the pool. I wish it would be open early morning before 7am too. Great breakfast, comfortable bed, double doors to balcony. From there I could see private horse track and gardens.

When I arrived i found everything was super clean and everything was provided. unfortunately, the second and the third day, i noticed that the house keeping did not replace our used towels, pen and paper, and toilet paper. They even took away the red rose from the bathroom. Also, I called the hotel earlier to provide a shuttle from the airport, but I didn't find anyone waiting for me, and I ended paying a taxi 75 pounds. The service in general was great and the room was fully equipped, and I might come again to this hotel one day!

Nice rooms, staff keen to help and very courteous, nice pool and kids playing area but staff there (eg lifeguards) lack basic courtesy to both adult and child guests. Will stay there due to proximity to some relatives nearby and for the pool and gym facility.

We stayed one night at the hotel and would definitely stay again. It is a quiet oasis in the middle of a busy city. We were on the executive floor, our room was very comfortable, the lounge was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a good range of restaurants and bars, a lovely pool area, gym, horse riding, a bank, shops and even a cinema on the site. If you are looking for a hotel near the airport this is a great place to stay.

The service of the hotel was great the minute I entered the airport where the hotel's driver greeted me, took care of the visa $15 told me where to go to get passport stamped and then proceeded to escort me to baggage pick up and onto the hotel. Hotel is v near to airport which is great. The hotel itself is super, room v comfortable. The rose petals on my last night were a perfect extra touch.....thank you. The location outside the hotel facility is not tourist friendly at all.....so unless you are escorted by somone who knows the neighborhood not sure if I would venture. I did have escort and experienced the egyptian culture/food wonderfully. Next trip to Cairo I would most deff. stay again.

If you understand the location of the hotel then it is an enjoyable place to stay. This isn't the best place for the first time tourist wanting to visit the pyramids but if you want to see the other side of Cairo then it is good. It is convenient for Heliopolis, Islamic Cairo, Citystars and very close to the airport. There are interesting walks to do from the hotel and the walk into downtown Heliopolis is about 50mins but can be done along various routes which are all an experience of everyday Cairo. Heliopolis is a fascinating part of Cairo with lots of beautiful old buildings and some great shopping. Staying in the hotel is a great experience with very friendly staff. It is well worth paying a little extra for the Executive room as the extra benefits are well worth it.

Excellent luxury hotel within its own secluded estate. Very good Gym facilities. Genuine 5*. Friendly & competent staff. Better than the Meridien where I previously stayed and a lot cheaper at the time when I stayed. Hotel restaurants are expensive but there are a couple of cheaper cafe/restaurants outside the hotel. Only complaint: the wi-fi is far too slow

The only problem I had was that there was entertainment every night until mid night and you can hear it in your room. So, if you plan to sleep before midnight, I suggest you get a room not overlooking the pool so you can get more quiet.

Wonderful hotel. Excellent personnel and sterling service. Will visit again soon.

I have used this hotel several times in the past few years. I have also used several of the better known "top end" chains and would say that the Concorde beats them all on service, food quality, hotel environment and facilities. The executive club rate is attractive as it saves having to pay for expensive hotel extras such as tea and coffee in the lobby; there is also an excellent 7-9 "happy hour" where excellent hot snacks are served. In room wi fi is now free. If they reduce the ridiculous laundry rates that they share with all other hotels, it would be as near perfect asd you can find in Cairo.

A wonderful stay in a comfortable environment. The hospitality and the uniqueness of the hotel location is amazing. Cairo is great and El Salam Concorde is a perfect fit. I will do it again and again.

Hotel is close to the airport. Arranged courtesy bus from the hotel collected me as promised even though the plane was late by over one hour. Hotel is near the airport, but with Cairo traffic takes an hour to down town (Zamalek area) depending on the time of day. Food and room was of a good standard, would stay again but to where I needed to visit with work in Egypt the hotel location was not the best so not the hotels fault !! Room was very comfortable, standard room.. Food is good with an excellent choice from Indian, Italian, Egyptian, Lebanese and American style. TOP TIP, Make sure you agree Taxi rates to or from the hotel before you travel..

A very agreeable hotel; good facilities, fine food, attentive staff. Very enjoyable stay. Second time we've stayed here and we will use the hotel again!

The employees at main reception desk were to busy on their computers and were a rude when I ask for the reservation. On the executive floor reception desk, they were more friendly.

The Concorde El Salaam is a comfortable and well-run hotel. The staff are courteous and helpful. The grounds are attrractive and well kept. They are an attractive feature. The hotel also borders the El Shams Club. We liked the fact that the hotel has modern comforts while also having a feeling of being matured and graceful. The wedding receptions held in the grounds for us were an enjoyable experience. The location is not ideal for the main attractions in Cairo, although it is very convenient for the airport. You have to be prepared to spend some time in taxis, although these are easily arranged. All in all, a pleasant and comfortable hotel, more attractive than more modern hotels. One criticism. Is it necessary to allow smoking areas in the restaurants, and in the lobby? It can be unpleasant for European visitors who are used to being able to eat and drink without breathing in smoke.

Grundsätzlich ein prima Aufenthalt - das ist insbesondere der Kompetenz und der Freundlichkeit des Personals zuzuschreiben.Bäder - auch in den executive-Zimmern sind renovierungsbedürftig.Hotel bietet alle Vorzüge, die von einem Haus dieser Kategorie erwartet werden können (Gastrononmie, Sport, Spa etc.)

Cairo is en blijft voor Egyptische begrippen duur, dit hotel geeft voor een zakelijk bezoek aan Cairo en redelijke prijs-kwaliteit verhouding

Ausgezeichnetes, blitzsauberes Hotel mit schöner Poolanlage unter Palmen. Ideal, um vor einem Flug zu entspannen. Der Shuttlebus holt Gäste am Flughafen ab (vorgängig ein email schicken) und bringt sie auch wieder dorthin. Perfekter Service. Das Zimmer war grosszügig und gut eingerichtet. Die Fenster isolieren so gut, dass man auch bei einer mitternächtlichen Ramadanfeier mit lauter Musik nichts mitbekommt. Klimaanlage leise und angenehm. Dieses Hotel buche ich gern wieder, wenn ich in Flughafennähe übernachten muss.

4泊でＴＲＩＰＬＥ部屋に泊まりました。毎日シャワーセットを1人分で用意しました。毎日℡で3人分を持ってきてと言わさせられました。 最初の日はホテルのレストランで食べましたが、高いのに味は普通でした。 最後に空港までのバスサービスは良かったと思いましたが、ポケットに残った少ないエジプトパウンドをチップとして出したら、お礼よりSir, this is nothingと言われました。

ich war das zweite mal dort und würde das hotel immer wieder Buchen . Preis und Leistungsverhältnis stimmt .

Das moderne Concorde Salam Hotel verdient in jeder Hinsicht seine 5 Sterne. Es liegt in Kairos Stadtteil Heliopolis (max. 15 Min. Autofahrt zum Flughafen), in ruhiger Lage. Für Touristen, die zum Sightseeing nach Kairo kommen, ist es vielleicht etwas abgelegen, da man bei günstigen Verkehrsbedingungen (sehr selten in Kairo !) etwa 1/2 Stunde in die Innenstadt braucht. Das Hotel bietet diverse Shuttle Services an, so z.B. zum Flughafen und zu einer Einkaufsmall (City Stars) im benachbarten Stadtteil Nasr City. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer sehr sauber und geräumig und komfortabel eingerichtet, das Frühstücksrestaurant sehr ansprechend, das Personal - wo immer man es antrifft - ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Abends gibt es auf der Terrasse am Pool Life-Musik, aber sehr dezent, so dass man auch in den Pool-View Zimmern nicht dadurch gestört wird. Für mich war das Hotel wie eine Ruheoase in der ansonsten hektischen, chaotischen und lauten Stadt. Ich würde es jederzeit weiterempfehlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Ägyptenaufenthalt selbst wieder dort absteigen.

Hotellet er centralt beliggende med en nem adgang til resten af byen. Taxaer holder uden for hotellets hovedindgang. Personalet på hotellet er hurtige til at bestille transport hvis det ønskes. Lobbyområdet er fantastisk indrettet. Der er dog en del støj fra trafikken i de værelser som ligger ud mod gaden. Værelserne er godt indrettet. Badeværelserne kunne godt være noget større, og sengene var for bløde til min smag. Poolområdet er velholdt, men poolen er ikke opvarmet. Der er godt med solsenge rundt omkring poolen. Der forefindes legeplads til børn i sikker afstand til poolen. Alt i alt et godt hotel.

Very nice hotel, confortable, not small not huge, pleasant to stay, with all needed services and facilities. Business Center, Health Club, Swimming Pool and some Restorants. Clean room, hot staff and good food. Thanks
