Clarion Inn Del Mar Inn - ديل مار

This is an awesome hotel! The front desk staff was super friendly. For some reason the volume on one of the TV stations wasn't working in my rooom so they moved me to a third floor ocean view room. The lady that handles the breakfast in the morning was also very nice. All around the staff was super friendly and I will stay there again.

Great location....but the room air conditioners are too noisy. The staff in the restaurant is very energetic and friendly. The best think I liked at this location.

It was quiet! Imagine! That is so rare at any hotel. I slept like a baby. It's beautiful, cozy, convenient...perfect. Staff is so courteous. I will stay there again.

Not a great hotel for the price you pay. There are better hotels nearby (werent available on this day and so, took up this one). Free breakfast,internet and parking are the plus points.

Pluses: Very convenient proximity to beach and Del Mar village, can walk to both within 10 minutes! Beds are good. Quiet at night. Negatives: Bathrooms are awkwardly arranged, difficult to move around in. Furnishing are dated and not very comfortable. Carpet looks very old.

great hotel near the beach. nice people.

What a great place and the room was great with two young boys. Great location, walking distance to the cliff trail, what views. Not far from legoland if that is a place you are looking to go to, as well not far from any san diego sites. As in any hotel very clean, but never like your house but still perfect for someone like me. Great breakfast service, would return.

I Feel that I got what I paid for. Del Mar is a prime location for miles of beachs, great climate and a good collection of eateries. The Del Mar Inn is a good walk to everything. Be sure to get a frifge in your room and I suggest the garden view rooms over the ocean view...that setting sun is hot. The staff were very pleasant and well informed

Quaint inn located in Del Mar. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was fine. We didn't like the curtain windows of hotel - were not as private during the evenings (does not have block out curtains) and we didn't like how the windows that face the ocean also situate the parking lot so parking lot area right below us -- folks coming and going (doors opening, closing, people loading cars etc.)--not as private overlooking ocean.

Very nice stay in that hotel close to the ocean (not direct access but a few hundreds meters walking or 5min by car). High quality prestation and a wonderful breakfast with delightfull smoothie. Thank you !

Clean room, good nights sleep, nice view. The A/C in my room didn't work very well.

My wife and I travel several times a year and have stayed in some of the finest motel/hotels in the country. I would say our stay at the Clarion Inn in Del Mar, California was a pleasant suprise. We arrived at night and did not realize how wonderful the landscaping was around the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful is pointing us to a fantastic resturant. The hostess at the continental breakfast couldn't do enough for you. We will definitely stay at this Inn again when we are in the San Diego area.

The Del Mar Inn was excellent! The first thing we did was check out the pool and jacuzzi. Clean and refreshing. The room was nice, and the continental breakfast was the best I have had ever traveling across the world. I would highly recommend next time in Del Mar. Randy P.

Walking distance to some very excellent restaurants on the beach. Bring your walking shoes.

Within walking distance of ocean and "downtown" Del Mar, this is a good deal for the money (at least the price I paid). While perhaps a bit dated, it actually has a nice feel. Continental breakfast is good. Help is very nice in breakfast room--and you can eat outside and look at ocean if you want. Free parking is good (compared to the outrageous charges at other hotels in the area. The only negative is that their free Internet connection is very for this hotel is very slow (11mbps). They need to upgrade it to 54mbps.

Everything was great, except for the shower. The water temperature swung wildly between hot and cold, each time we showered. It was as if someone was playing a practical joke on us. Other than that, it's a good deal, about two blocks from the cliffs overlooking the ocean, and walking distance to restaurants downtown. The room was clean, staff was nice, service was good, pool was clean, etc.

After 40 years of visiting friends and relatives in the area we finally picked a hotel to stay during our visit with friends; we did NOT make a mistake. The quarters with an ocean view were more than adequate. The staff was unusually attentive and recognized client needs as they were occurring. The morning breakfast allowed us to munch upon fresh fruit, fresh bakery, read the morning paper while watching the ocean... do it

This hotel is really well placed for the Del Mar area and for the price, it just can't be beat.

My fiance and I were looking for a place we could relax, walk to restaurants and bars for dinner and drinks and wake up and have a nice stroll along the coast with a cup of coffee. This hotel was perfect for all those things. The room decor was a bit dated, but everything worked well, the bed was comfy and the room clean. If you're a person who taps on aquariums to see if the fish flinch, who likes to complain about soap, towels, and other guests, just so you can validate your existence and feel empowered by your ability to complain about the world and make yourself noticed, then you probably won't be thrilled by this hotel - but if you're a person looking for a nice getaway in a fantastic location at a good price, then this is the place for you.

Nice simple breakfast, really clean room. Helpful staff and a computer available in the lobby. If you don't have a view the downstairs room overlook lovely gardens. What can you say it's Del Mar.

Smooth check-in, professional, friendly staff, tasty complimentary breakfast. Rooms are clean, comfortable, nice bathrooms. Cons - thin walls and doors, iron did not work properly, but these are minor quibbles. Overall good value.

Vi tilbrakte to netter på Clarion Carriage House Inn i forbindelse med et besøk i Sea World. Etter en sjekk av diverse hoteller hvor vi vurderte beliggenhet, tilbud, pris og standard, valgte vi dette hotellet. Vi leste diverse hotellanmeldelser før vi gjorde valget, og i våre øyne virket dette som det best egnede. Det skulle vise seg at vi valgte rett. Vi er en familie på tre, to voksne + en 16-åring, og rommet var absolutt stort nok. Med frokost og internett inkludert i prisen, var det også gunstig prismessig. Det tar ca 20 minutter å kjøre til Sea World. Noen vil kanskje synes at det blir litt langt å kjøre, men da slipper man kaoset når man bor på hoteller som er nabo med attraksjonene. Vi hadde leiebil uansett, så det spilte ingen rolle om vi måtte kjøre et stykke. Vi fikk ikke sett så mye av Del Mar, men vi rakk en tur ut og spise. Her er det noe for enhver smak, så det burde ikke være noe problem å finne et egnet spisested. Alt i alt var vi veldig fornøyde med oppholdet på dette hotellet. Hvis du er ute etter romservice og høy standard på alle tjenester, bør du kanskje finne et annet hotell, men dersom du trenger et trivelig, rent sted å sove, og hvor du i tillegg får en grei frokost, vil jeg absolutt anbefale dette hotellet. En ting er sikkert, hvis vi er i området en annen gang gidder jeg ikke ta meg bryet med å sjekke andre hoteller. Clarion Carriage House har alt jeg trenger.
