Quay West Suites Sydney - روكس

Hotel is in a great spot (slight walk up a hill if you've got bags). We got the train to circular quay and it was a 5-10min walk. We booked a city deluxe room and I phoned a few days before to confirm that it had a sofa bed in the room, and that we'd be using it for our child. When we got the hotel check-in was a breeze and I was pleased to see the sofa bed already made up in the room. View was to the S of the city with glimpses of Darling Harbour, and none of the bridge/opera house. THe ONLY thing that irked me about this stay was a male thing - the toilet seat didn't stay up.. and when you did lift it up, it hadn't been cleaned underneath for ages, if at all. Apart from that, fantastic spot, hotel & service. On checkout another lady was having a spit about something and I thought the manager handled it very well. Oh - one last thing.. when I booked this hotel I correctly specified 2 adults and 1 child. The cost was higher than 2 adults. AFTER booking I compared the cost with the hotel website directly and it was the same price for 2 adults as 2 adults & 1 child, hence I paid MORE on hotels.com than directly with the hotel. Hotels.com did not refund the money in accordance with the price guarantee becuase it was a non-cancellation rate. In fact any email to hotels.com gets met with the same response - "unable to help you because the rates differ, please phone xxx". The aussie phone number said that the price guarantee doesn't apply with the hotel's direct website !

The rooms were spacious; the service was excellent; and the view of the opera house, bay and bridge was spectacular!

Have stayed here several times and standard has been maintained or even bettered. Helpful staff, excellent concierge service and good location for tourists and business people alike.

Amongst the best harbour views in Sydney; clean, very comfortable apartments with helpful staff. Pool is excellent for smaller children inclduing those who are not confident swimmers (hard to et mine out). Location is quiet and good if you are interested in the hourbour, Rocks, harbour bridge, Opera House, Circular Quay. It is away from central Sydney business locations.

Great location, close to all transport, train stations and ferries. Great room, view of the harbour was amazing from the 23rd floor balcony. Pool facilities excellent, also with view onto the harbour. Friendly and helpful staff. Would defiantly stay here again and recommend to friends.

This hotel had the best location and very convenient for tourists or business people. Even though it was not a five star lodging, the fact that we had another room with full on kitchen, laundry, living room was well worth it. We were there only after dinner and before going out in the morning, but we were very satisfied and happy with our stay there. The room service was great too, and it was very private. Hardly ran into any other guests there and the few hotel people we spoke to were very accomodating and helpful in helping us with replies to our questions.

Superb location with stunning views of the opera house and harbour bridge. Close to all imenities. Great concerige services. Only issue is checkout time of 10 am is too early, especially for accommodation costing this much!

Dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist super und die Aussicht auf den Hafen einzigartig. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls einzigartig, sehr sauber und toll ausgestattet.
