Galleria Park Hotel, a Joie de Vivre Boutique Hotel - سان فرانسيسكو

For the price I paid, this was a very great place to stay. Its close to everything shopping eating and the subway. Rooms were very clean and for San Fran Standards, decent size. Cant ask for much more.

We loved the Galleria Park. Will be our go to hotel every time we are in San Francisco

This is a charming, updated boutique hotel. The location near Union Square was convenient to our needs. The staff was very helpful. Morning coffee and evening wine receptions were nice touches. We loved the rooftop terrace. Our room was small but comfortable. We were very satisfied.

In the centre of town away from the tourist traps but brilliantly located to get to see everything you need with BART, bus and trams all near by. This is a great boutique hotel with some unique features. The staff were friendly and helpful and the guest meeting for a free glass of wine or 2 each evening was inspired

If you want to be in the shopping, dining, and overall center of SF, this is the place to stay! The room was small but well appointed and clean. We definitely will stay there again.

I was fortunate enough to catch a discount on this place when I booked, but it was just exceptional! My business colleague with whom I shared and I were just blown away. Comfortable lobby and room, free in room wifi, coffee in the morning, wine and movies in the evening, a lovely roof top garden.....just magnificent all of it. And the staff completely friendly and helpful.... Thank you Galleria and thank you Hotels.com for hooking us up!

A few blocks from Union Square, great restaurants nearby, bakery on the corner. The lobby is very smart and the entire staff never fails to smile and say hello. The building itself is a smidge shabby, but this is typical of older buildings in San Francsicso and the furniture and appointments are all new, tasteful, and elegant. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great experience at the Galleria Park Hotel. Location is great, hotel is quailty all the way around. If you like the Union Square area for business or pleasure, no need to look further. The only this missing is an abundance of restaurants, but you can walk a few blocks and find some. I would pass on the one next to the hotel called " Hecho " sushi / tequila bar ? Never heard of such a thing and tried it, but the food was so high in price and quality B+ at best. They are not owned by the hotel but next door and connected by a door only.

great downtown location. easy walk to many restaurants. room and bath were small, but amenities made up for it. sushi bar just off lobby was a very nice surprize. early evening wine tasting drew a good crowd.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The bedding and towels were the best of the 7 hotels we stayed in that week. we would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is fantastic. I am in San Francisco 6-8 times a year and usually stay at great hotels by Powell. This time I took a chance and could not have been happier. The front desk staff (all of them) are fantastic. They are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is kept very well and the free wine social every evening is a chance to meets others. If someone has a problem with this hotel, the problem is probably with themselves.

This is a plesant and elegant little hotel with a great location off of Union Square. Easy access to all of downtown San Francisco. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Just be forewarned - there is extreme city noise in this location, and this hotel has old single pane windows which do little to keep the noise out. Lower floors can be quite loud. To add insult to injury, I was given Room 211, which shares a wall with the fitness centre. Awoke to a loud treadmill banging the wall at 5am.

Nice service, Rooms were clean and comfortable, Walls are THIN, woke up in the morning due to maids talking...

Best location, best decor, best customer service I've experienced in the city. Can't wait to come back here. Rooms are small, but well decorated and very comfortable. Fixtures are modern. A short walk from BART, Union Square and countless great restaurants.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel on Friday and Saturday. I was on the Sutter side on the 4th floor, but the noise was not too bad at all. I slept fine. Free wireless, Free wine.

What a nice little hotel in the city. Friendly staff that make you feel welcome. Easy to find the hotel on Sutter Street because of the protruding overhang by the valet. Very cute inside and the rooms are like new inside. Right next door to a little morning bakery and coffee place. Way better coffee than Starbucks. Walked to Market street and Union Square. Decent little fitness room with new equipment. Nice touch having the walking terrace on floor 3.

Hotels is centrally located in San Francisco & within walking distance to the pier. The rooms are spacious comfortable & clean, although the bathroom could use some upgrading. The free wine before dinner served in the lobby each day was a great way to start of the evening before going out for dinner. The hotel staff was very helpful in suggesting restaurants options. Overall, it was a very nice stay & I am looking forward to staying there in the future.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very helpful from the off! They knew it was our Honeymoon and gave us a free complimentary upgrade with champagne and made our stay very special. The hotel is close to everything with all local transport very near by. Close to shops, and good places to eat. China town is just one block away. I will go back to San Francisco and when I do I will stay here again. Highly Recommend!!

Great Location & Service. Rooms are average size, a little dated but clear & comfortable. Staff were lovely & helpful. Location is great, just around the corner from Union Square.

Good Hotel in the centre, bus stop close by and a short walk away from Union Square and China town. Staff very helpfull and polite. Rooms very clean, coffee machine a bit of a pain. I would certainly stay in this hotel again and recommend it to others.

Great location, comfortable hotel and excellently polite hotel staff. Bathroom a bit on the small side but I think hotel very over priced. Parking fees extortionate. The free wine late afternoon a very nice touch. Would stay again but would not be willing to pay so much.

What a wonderful place to stay and enjoy San Francisco. My friend and I went for a girls week of shopping and sightseeing and it was perfect in every way. The hotel itself is beautiful. We loved the art deco environment and the service was outstanding - from the desk, the concierge, housekeeping - everyone was smiling, friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet. And the free wine in the lobby was a nice bonus and a great way to meet other guests. We walked easily to Union Square and all the shopping you could ever want. It's only a short walk to the subway , and the neighbourhood has every kind of eatery you could want. We especially enjoyed the little breakfast/ lunch spot right next door for a quick bite. You would never know from the little canopy outside the front door of this hotel, all the special characteristics that await inside. Thanks, Galleria Park Hotel, for a truly wonderful stay.

The hotel was pricey for what you get but the location is perfect.

Great Hotel! Very good location, easy to walk to all the sites or the trolley stop, only thing to consider is that is right in downtown, so you can hear the city noise pretty easily at night, but other than that it was great!

I'm a light sleeper but this hotel is very quiet. I was offered ear plugs but never needed them. The hotel is in a quiet area of town, close to the financial district. There are a number of restaurant close by and the BART station is only 2 blocks away. Zach on the front desk is an absolute gem. Thanks Zach for the excellent suggestion to go to The Grove Cafe on 3rd (go down Kearny St near the hotel and it becomes 3rd after it crosses Market St) and Mission St.

It's in a good location - only a short walk to Sutter Street BART. We didn't use any of the hotel's facilities so can't comment on the food, drink and room service. The staff were really friendly and helped us plan our very short stay in SFO. Would stay there again, so I guess that says it all!

We stayed here for 5 nights and were very satisfied with the stay. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself oozes personality and charm. The rooms are a little small but I think this is not out of the ordinary for the older style San Francisco hotels. That said, the room was very comfortable and we did not feel cramped. Great showers and nice shampoo & conditioner! Beds were very comfortable too.

hotel conveniently located in san fran very freindly with evening happy hour wine session which we only managed once as we were too busy most nights. That once was a good sociable event though. Breakfast was not what we would expect but for those who graze on the move it is probably ok. We found the breakfast bar on the corner really convenient and good value. It was also a good introduction to the american language and food culture which was very enjoyable.

Hotel staff were extremely knowledgeable about San Francisco. Staff provided a map, directions, and helpful suggestions on where to go and how to get there. The bathroom in the room was very outdated and small. Location is the best part of this hotel along with the friendly staff. I would stay there again.

Great location and the service is good but the walls, ceilings, doors are too thin. Each day awoken early due to guests or guest children. If you are a lite sleeper I do not recommend it.

Nice hotel. Small rooms but good quality... walking distance from Moscone.

Great location for this hotel. Very close to Union Square and the city district and walking distance to the piers. Parking is very expensive (expected for a city I suppose). Public parking is available a few doors from the hotel on Sutter Street for ~$30 per 24 hours (no in-outs) if this is of use. Which was for us, as we did not plan on driving around San Fran. Rooms a little small, but overall a great stay.

LOcation and service were good. Parking fee elevated (40 USD/day).

This hotel has a great location with very close proximity to Union Square. The Urban park is nice but needs a good cleaning.

My sister and I chose this hotel for our first time in San Fransisco in July and did we ever luck out!! The location is fabulous ! within 2 blocks of union square, great shopping , great restaurants, chinatown, trolleys, The hotel was fantastic and staff was so helpful and accomodating!! would definitely stay here again!!

location location...great location and very close to Union Square and the best eating places in San Francisco. Totally loved staying here, great and knowledgeable front desk and bell staff and would definitely go back.

We booked the Galleria for the last 3 nights of our 3 week holiday, expecting a treat. The receptionists were lukewarm, housekeeping was poor. We had to ask where our 3rd person was to sleep, to be told it was a pull-out sofa (no service there) and that it would be all made up, and where extra linen would be. It wasn't made up, there was no linen and housekeeping took ages to arrive when we requested. There was no showercap although the toiletries were nice. Subsequent housekeeping was shabby. Expensive for what it was. The bellhops were great - everyone of them. Cheerful, prompt and extremely helpful, especially Peter. There is a nice cafe next door for breakfast and light lunch. Location is great, especially if you don't mind the noise.

Great Location, Great Service in the Hotel, Wine receiption and a nice room to relax in. I would stay here again without doubt.
