A nice boutique hotel in the City for the price. I would stay here again if traveling alone on business, but it might be a little too tight for two people. Perfect location, decent amenities and they even offer wine everyday in their swanky lobby between 5:30-6:30pm.

The only thing I can be negative about was the hotel room looked out on a wall with an alley below. That alley was quite noisy with delivery trucks, garbage trucks, etc. however, the room price was good and maybe that is just where they have the cheaper rooms. The staff up front and the cleaning ladies are remarkable, friendly and helpful. The location next to the Crocker Galleria, across the street from Loehmann's, and a few blocks from Union Square is excellent!

I stayed here with my friends for my 21st birthday. Walking in, the lobby is really nice. we loved the fact there is a free wine hour! We mentioned to the girl at the front desk we were visiting for my birthday. After coming back from dinner, we got a knock on our door, and it was the girl from the front desk. She brought us a present! It was a birthday bag filled with snacks and a card wishing a happy birthday. It was the sweetest thing! We had a great time, and in the morning we got to drink our coffee on the 3rd floor outside garden. I am planning on staying here for my future trips to the city. Thank you to Camisha and the galleria park family for making our stay extra special!

Perfect location for Union Sq, Embarcadero, Chinatown. Smallish room. Friendly staff.

Our party of 3 arrived early hoping to leave our luggage, we were delighted to be permitted to check in early. The rooms were a good size for a city centre location but showing signs of wear & tear. Staff were really helpful. A complimentary wine reception was very welcome and added to the friendly atmosphere.Had problems with toilet and TV both resolved but could have done without on a short stay.

We had a lovely weekend at Galleria Park. The location is unbeatable for the price. Friendly staff and the wine hour is definitely a plus. Rooms are on the small side and we didn't have a view. The hotel is on the older side but well maintained and nicely decorated with original art. It definitely has the atmosphere of a boutique hotel. I recommend it for a nice weekend in San Francisco.

Great experience!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the wine and popcorn hour. Quiet comfortable room!! Second visit and will surely come again!!!

Great location if you are here to see the sights. Union Square, Ferry Building, cable car, China Town, all within walking distance. Hotel is older, but elegant. Very nice wine reception every evening.

The Galleria Park Hotel has done an excellent job upgrading the physical facility. It has a beautiful lobby and guest rooms to match. The room size is more European but plenty if room for a single business traveler. The front desk staff were outstanding, cheerful and always helpful with directions. The location is ideal for work in the city center. I would readily return.

The hotel has been renovated tastefully. The location is convenient, especially since the city has Bart, street cars and buses that go everywhere. The staff could not have been nicer and more pleasant. However, they could be more knowledgeable, but they are willing to try.

Small stylish hotel with great lobby, friendly staff. Very good value. Only downside for rate was room size, which was a little small.

It was a great stay overall - very attentive staff, and a really lovely hotel. The only problem was the construction during business hours. We stayed over Presidents' Weekend and the construction started at 730 am on our floor that Monday. When we called the front desk, they said that it was "soft construction"- but unfortunately soft construction consisted of scraping paint or wallpaper off of walls and not at all conducive to sleeping in! When we checked out that morning, we learned that the construction was actually only on the floor we were staying on. Other than that, it was a great time!

Hotel was so nice. Room clean, quiet, bed comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasantly decorated. Walking distance to cable cars, Union Square shopping, Chinatown and other neighborhoods. We stayed here because we were touring The Academy of Arts University, which was very close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice pet friendly hotel. We loved the outdoor walking path. The staff were friendly and helpful.

You can tell the hotel is old but the remodel is really nice. Close to a lot of good eating and shopping. I really enjoyed it.

Needed to spend a Saturday night in the city and picked Galleria Park for location and amenities. We had a high floor room so street noise was absent. Comfy furniture in the lobby and a fireplace was a welcome sight at the end of a late night. Even though it was 1:00 am, the gentleman at the desk brought us bottles of water and made us feel wonderfully welcome. And free street parking was a big plus! Close to a safe BART station and 4 blocks from the bustle of Union Square. Would recommend to anyone heading to the City.

Very close to Chinatown and Moscone center. Neighborhood is great. Nicely renovated hotel with a friendly staff. No problems whatsoever. This is much easier to get around than large box hotels that surround it where elevators take forever. Only small negative was size of bathroom which was pretty normal for the age of hotel but a bit small by current standards.

my girlfriend and I had fun at your hotel, we also had friends staying there. Your staff was excellent Jacob was great and very helpful, we enjoyed our stay and will be back again, thank you Rick & Diane

The Galleria is nicely decorated, and the staff were terrific. Easy access to Chinatown and financial district amenities. Given the recent renovations I expected better quality mattresses than I found, and it was very inconvenient that the on-site restaurant was closed. Rooms are tiny and the TV package is very limited so don't plan on spending much time relaxing in your room. Be sure to ask for the interior rooms to get a quiet location. Simple improvements like putting a light in the dark hole of a closet would be appreciated.

It was very enjoyable and relaxing. Great service and people. Very helpful and polite.

friendly staff and valet. clean and comfortable room, bed and shower. will stay again if attending a convention or trade show at the Moscone Center.

Beautiful small boutique hotel in super location for Union Square, Embarcadero and North Beach and great to be able to walk to fine restaurants. Room a little small but everything else excellent, beautiful finishes throughout.

The hotel cleanliness and comfort was great. If your room has a window facing outside towards a street it could be a little loud with the sound of cars, I heard garbage trucks and they were kind of loud but I'm a heavy sleeper so was not too bothered by it. I would assume you can ask for a room not close to the street if you are a light sleeper.

This is a quaint little hotel in a great central location in SF. The room service is limited however and the restaurant attached to it is Japanese. So if you want other cuisine, you have to go out and get it. That was the only bummer.

I love the high ceiling. The room smells and looks very clean. Friendly staff! Keep the window closed and it is very very quiet. Open the window if you want to hear the city bustling. If you are looking for a "brand new hotel" - this is not for you. The building seems to be an old hotel that has been beautifully and tastefully rennovated. San Francisco water tastes the best! The carpet at the lobby looks clean but had an unpleasant smell (this is the only negative I noticed). In all, I definitely would stay here again!

I am a frequent traveler, and I often stay at boutique hotels, both for business and pleasure. As an architect. I like the specialness and the artful interior design that are usually absent in standard hotels. But I was disappointed by the condition and design of your hotel. Except for the lobby, which was interesting, my room and the corridors in the Galleria Park just felt like an old, tired hotel. If someone is looking for a unique boutique hotel experience, I can not recommend your hotel.

A lovely hotel, close to everything. We felt very welcomed and although we only stayed one night, felt right at home. Rooms are nice, had everything we needed for a nights stay. We stayed here based on other peoples recommendations as well as price. We totally agree, nice hotel, well priced!

Upscale older hotel - exactly what I like! The artwork through-out the hotel is wonderful. Nice wine reception too.

The hotel was beautiful, modernly decorated and super clean. The rooms were spacious. The staff was friendly and accomodated all of our wishes quickly. We enjoyed the wine tasting in the tastefully decorated lobby. Hotel was close to Union Square, Market street, and Chinatown. There is a lovely cafe right next door called Bread & Cocoa where we had breakfast and lunch.

I really enjoyed my stay. We had a big, cozy, comfy bed. The bathroom was small, but typical of all hotels in SF and we were only there for one night. The location is fabulous and cannot be beat. The hotel has a lovely little rooftop garden, which we enjoyed for a moment of solitude. Beautiful decor would make this a perfect spot for a Girl's Weekend or a Romantic Getaway---blue, white and silver themed. Lovely large, warm fireplace is blazing upon arrival. Wine each evening for free. A nice touch. Free coffee every morning. Great options for parking are available in addition to the valet. Very nice.

I've stayed at the Galleria Park several times. Whenever I come to San Francisco on business, it's my first choice. Staff is always pleasant, rooms are clean & comfortable and there are plenty of restaurants close by in this safe neighborhood. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. Yes, it's an older (historic / boutique) hotel, so if you're looking for grand luxury, it may not be your best option, but I find it very quaint.

I love this place! The staff is amazingly friendly, rooms are adorable, and it's around the corner from my office. I really enjoy my visits to SF and try to stay here every time I go.

Nice Hotel, It did show some wear, but is an older, renovated building, but overall, a nice stay. Do ask for a quiet room though. I would stay here again.

Terrible cell phone reception in the building, but I had the same problem at another hotel downtown earlier in my trip. They seemed a little understaffed & unorganized, especially in terms of coordinating their bellmen. Everything else was as you would expect from a hotel of it's rating, but nothing at all that blew me away or would make me chose it over any other hotel next time I'm in town.
