It was as awesome as ever. The front desk staff that was working on Friday night went above and beyond for me, that is why we always try to stay Embassy Suites!

It was fantastic

The pull out sofa bed was miserable to sleep on. I used shoes under the foot pedestal to level out the sofa bed.

I love Embassy Suites and always try to use them first. All of us were very pleased. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom was large. Suite furniture comfortable and room was large enough for entertaining friends after dinner at nearby Cheesecake Factory restaurant. Close to great shopping, Easy entrance onto Hwy 217. Beautiful and Quiet with fabulous breakfast!

I had originally booked a room for one night but once I checked in and spent my first night, I decided to stay a second night. The staff were very efficient and courteous in accomodating my change of plans and I was able to stay in the same room for the second night. The breakfast that is served is incredible with the amount of choices available and the complimentary happy hour each evening was a pleasant surprise as well. The hotel is very easily accessed from the I-5 and the staff also give very good directions to finding other locations within the city.

Great service, fast check-in, convenient parking, fast Wi-Fi, clean rooms and free breakfast. We truly had no complaints during our 1-night stay.

The overall hotel experience was good except for one major,disappointing thing. You have to pay for internet access! This its the first time I've seen this in years, and thought it no longer existed in the major hotel chains. If you want complimentary internet access, but comparable accommodations, you're better off with Marriott Residence Inn.

Very nice and friendly service. The room is clean, spacious and well kept. Breakfast excellent.

The location is great! It is close to everything and if the walk is too much for you, they provide shuttle service!! I would like to see an "adult only" time for the pool though.

We thought we had a room with a king bed----turns out they didn't have a non-smoking king available. They gave us a double double----no queens on site. Otherwise the breakfast and evening reception and restaurant food was great

Nice spacious rooms for a family of 4. We had 2 double beds and a couch that made into a bed. Unfortunately double beds are so small that my husband and I can not sleep together. Wish they had at least 2 queen size option or 1 king, 1 double. The pool was nice and warm. Very crouded. Seemed small for a hotel of that size. I went in to the gift/espresso shop for hot water to make tea, the woman was very rude. The breakfast was awesome. The kids loved it! Overall, we would go back. For the price, location and space, it was a good deal. I won't be going into the gift shop though!

Horribly disappointed to find a cookie on the floor and a stick of deodorant in the couch. I guess their idea of cleaning is different than mine.

We are an older couple and our stay apparently coincided with some kids spring break as their were a lot of them. The little swimming pool was very full and I wondered how it would be for the breakfast that was included in our room price. It was very busy, but the hotel staff handled it well and opened up another room to accomodate everyone so there was no waiting and the noise was not offensive. We lived through our kids and grand kids and we sort of like kids. The breakfast was way better than I had expected. We had other plans so could not participate in the afternoon refreshments that were offered, but those that did seemed to be enjoying it. I will look forward to coming back and enjoying the whole offering.

Large, clean, comfortable hotel rooms. Great free breakfast buffet and manager reception. Hotel is in a good location next to the mall. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The only reason I wouldn't recommend this hotel was because of the noisy elevator. The hotel was aware of this problem and nothing could be done to fix the problem. At first I thought maybe switching rooms would fix the problem but the sound could be heard from all areas of the hotel.My wife thought it sounded like cars racing outside of the hotel. Otherwise, everything else was great as usual.

The only catch is if you are disabled or have trouble walking, make sure to ask for a room close to the elevators. They have no back stairs that make it easy to get out from hallways without setting off fire alarms, and it can be quite a walk back to the elevator. Other than that, rooms are spacious, very clean, we were super happy with our stay. Many great selections for room service, including filet mignon, etc, if you would like. Highly recommend.

Our family of 4 had booked for a king suite, but decided we need 2 doubles due to a sick child. They were so kind to upgrade us without charge, and accomodated our request for a quiet room onto their highest floor. Love their new North Tower - away from the convenience but noise of breakfast buffet and managers reception, which are exceptional comp services. Great location - right across from the mall and Target. One of the best Embassys we've stayed at, and we stay at Embassys all the time.

Breakfast was good. Nice spread. Wished it was different from Sunday to Monday, but enough to choose from that it was not necessary. Our room was on par with our expectations, with stated number or sleeping areas and sitting areas. Fold out couch was not only terribly uncomfortable, it was starting to fall apart and my 5 year old got injured in her sleep from falling through the mattress and metal frame. Minifridge worked so well our tuna and lettuce for frozen overnight, and the "video game console" was just a controller that gave access for a ly by.the.minute set of old games. There is no way to attach a did or anything, and the cable options were atrocious. Seriously folks, if u say cable, give us more than 1 channel that.might have appropriate non-sports things to watch. Mostly we were glad that we let our son bring a DE as he would have had a much worse time without... Best time for the pool was during breakfast, as that was the only time we had space to spread out and enjoy splashing without hitting others. All that being said, if u r in the area for business, or plan to do many outtings and not much when u get back to the room, stay here. The employees were fantastic, even when my son broke a dish and was mortified, they encouraged him that people were not upset and she should not worry and go get more food.

Very comfortable. Very surprised with the Manager's reception each night and full on breakfast each morning. Fresh custom omelettes made, hot sausages, potatoes, bacon etc. plus juices, fruit, cereal....the works! A great value

The hotel may be older, but it's got great bones and a fresh face. Service is always wonderful and you cannot beat their free breakfast in the morning (super friendly workers even at 6:30am). Rather than staying in downtown for work (I do love The Nines) I make the quick drive out to Beaverton (not during rush hour though!!) because I like the overall amenities and service much better. With hotel being so close to HWY 217 it takes only 10 minutes. Plus you have Washing Square shopping just a block away. I've always had a room facing Hall Blvd - and I cannot hear the cars at all. I've never heard the neighbors either. My only complaint is the parking spots are very skinny and won't easily fit a full size car or SUV. But seriously, if that's my only complaint you can see this hotel is great. Highly recommended and I cannot wait to stay again.

This hotel is very convenient. There are stores, restaurants and a mall within a block. Breakfast was ok, cocktail is a nice bonus. Kids loved it, we will return.

We stay at this hotel 2-3 times a year as it is convenient to shopping and visiting our family. We like all of the stores, restaurants and activities surrounding the area of the hotel. I have one grandchild that comes with us and the breakfast convenience and the indoor swimming pool are a plus. We like the layout of the room so that there are two beds in the bedroom and a hideaway sofa for the child.

Beds were not very comfortable. The sleeper sofa was bad!! You could feel the springs. Hallway noisy until 2:00 a.m. Breakfast was poor - stale! Coffee was awful. I have stayed here quite a bit, so I will give it another try. I'm usually satisfied, but not this time. The location is great and the staff is friendly.

Very convenient to the shopping mall. Frequent shuttle service to the mall was very handy. Rooms were fine. Manager reception was great. Full breakfast was ok, eggs and sauages poor quality. Cooked eggs were better ....line up quite long that could be avoided (eg only 1 toaster for 150+ guests....recommend management buy another toaster).

however the hotel WiFi is SLOW and you have to pay $10 per day per device. KInda silly... since every hotel I have been to US/ Canada and Asia WiFi is free. Other then that should be a 5 rating...

Got this hotel for one night, it was a five star experience. Most prime location in Portland - inside washington square. I had stayed in Marriott previously which felt no value for money, but this one was perfect

My self, my daughter and her three kids (one 8 week old) stayed at the Embassy and were very comfortable. We were careful to be as quiet as possible and my daughter did a great job with the baby. We were visiting my other daughter and son for a 2nd Thanksgiving. Their place was too small for all the people that came. We had heard about the Embassy after I made reservations there. All great reports. Great breakfast!! The inside of the building is beautiful. I chose the embassy because they allowed more children then the hotels closer to Lake Oswego. I usually book for myself or two people---first time I had to book for children--more of a challenge then I thought it would be. But we found one in Embassy!! Couldn't ask for more :-)

there was something up with the heater, nosie damper door closed and opened during the night, and an alarm went off . The room was very nice and the staff was very good, will go back again

Have everything close and hopping and dinning.

This was a clean, large suite and it was very QUIET, which we wanted. The breakfast option is a bonus. Great stay! Kind, helpful staff.

I left my magnifying mirror in the bathroom of our room and have called 3 times to tell them I would come pick it up. I have left messages for someone to please call me back and have heard nothing. Does housekeeping even hear these messages? Not very happy.

Next to Washington square mall and many restaurants. Just off the highway exit but the entrance of the hotel is a bit trick to find. Parking lot is big, swimming pool is small but good for young family and business centre opened 24 hours with very slow and limited computer/internet and printers. Extra charges for in-room wifi or wired internet. Every suite comes with sofabed but charge $10 extra for roll-away bed. Breakfast is fine with many choices but don't forget your "service card" which they will check your name and room number before they let you enter breakfast lounge. Over all good for short stay.
