Bellevue Hotel - فيينا

We had a wonderful stay, the room faced in to a courtyard and so was very quiet. The hotel staff was very kind, the room was clean and the washrooms had been recently remodeled. Had some trouble keeping steady temperature in the showers, though. For the price we paid (only$90USD) I would certainly stay there again, but I do have another favourite, more centrally located hotel in the city.

Very close to the train station to get to the Wachau region which is worth visiting when you are in Vienna. Our room was not on the street side, so no idea about the noise in the street-side rooms, though it does not seem to be a busy street. No idea about breakfast and other food matters also, but cafe and bar side was fine. Good quality hotel with classical flavor, and nice people at the reception counter.

Stayed 3 nights in May. Chose the hotel due to the location, which is only a couple of minutes from the Friedensbrücke metro station. The centre of Vienna is easily reached via public transport. There is a Billa supermarket right in front of the hotel, which was open even during the Ascension day. The room was a bit outdated but very quiet (window to the courtyard) and breakfast and service was really good. My only complaint would be about the pillows, which were not very comfortable (too thin).

Bellevue is a very beautiful hotel and close to ubahn services. Thankfully parking is free over the weekend. However, we were shocked at the cost of WiFi connection rates, considering city bars allow you the use of theirs for free.

That is nice hotel, good breakfast, good location. but the bed too soft for me.

Clean, nice location, but should be upgraded

The hotel was clean, really nice staff, and worth all 4 stars. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the center of town. For 11 euro you can get a 48 hour pass that covers the cable cars and subway, with a little study time the train is very easy to use and can get you anywhere inside or outside the city.

i will not stay in this hotel again, for the price we paid, the staff was very unfriendly, tv was broken in room and surrounding neighborhood was bad, lots of beggars around hotel.

The hotel is really convenient to public transport, but expect to spend at least 10-20 minutes on the transport to get anywhere touristy in the ring. There are multiple tram lines that essentially go right in front of the hotel, and the metro is just a short 4-5 minute walk from the hotel. The decor of the hotel common areas was nice, but the room decor was nothing special. The beds seem to need updating as the mattresses sunk quite a bit. The staff were really friendly and ready to help us with any request. The only odd thing was that the maids came before 9:00 in the morning for housekeeping. Luckily one of us was awake to quickly put the do not disturb sign up- it just seemed a tad early to be knocking on the guests' doors.

Large room, which was very nice for Vienna. Lobby and coffe shop were cozy, and the only place that WIFI worked (we knew that ahead of time). Bed was comfortable, and the staff spoke great English (we're from the U.S.). For Vienna, this was a really good value.

I was worried about the location, but it was perfect. Tram on the corner goes straight to Museum Quarter and Belvedere. U-Bahn's a 5-minute walk, and there's a supermarket across the street. This is a luxury hotel that's s bit run-down but sitll elegant, with a nice bar, small restaurant with decent food, and free internet in lobby and bar (€10 a night in your room). Rooms are large, like junior suites. Nice estraunt Gabel + Co. on the corner. I would definitely stay there again.

Quite happy with the hotel. It was a smoke free oasis in a typically smokey Europe city. An easy hop on the D trolley to the city center. Clean and comfortable with a helpful staff. Next to Josephbahnhof if you are heading up the Danibe.

Hotel is nice, clean, but they have wifi only via 30 min vouchers and the wifi itself is slow. Vienna is small, so easy to get from one point to the next, but the neighborhood of this hotel (Friedensbrucke) does not have much to offer on its own. Good deal for the price.

The Bellevue Hotel was a clean, cool oasis during a hot summer visit to Vienna. It was fairly easy to reach by U-Bahn and S-Bahn from the main train station. It is about a 7 minute walk to the nearest U-Bahn station to take you down to the city center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning in the rooms works well. They charge 10 euros for wifi in your rooms but it will work on 3 devices. We did not have the overpriced breakfast. The staff we encountered were professional and courteous. We would stay here again.

Rooms were good. Some rooms are bigger then others - but the smaller ones the AC keeps the rooms cooler. Transportation is very close. Service was quick and smooth. Would definitely stay again.

vienna is an exquisite city and this older, elegant hotel was very charming. the convenience to transportation, 5min to city center by tram, the grocery store offering some options was great. there was 0 view from the window, no outdoor space, and the free wifi was limited to 30 min which could be a drawback for some people. otherwise loved the high ceilings, and the comfy beds. as other reviews said, the hotel should invest in some better tvs as these were truly antiquated. for the money, it was very nice and we had a big surprise the last night when the restaurant turned out to be lovely.

Hotel staffs are very nice and friendly; quiet and spacious, clean, 'freilich', austrian standard. We'll stay again!

An excellent hotel with everything you need in a room except a kettle. Just 3 or 4 minutes walk to the nearest Metro and the breakfast was superb.

Hotel large but comfortable and clean, husband a little surprised at high price of half litre lager!! very near a supermarket and mcdonalds plus other take aways, next street/strasse has a good restaurant used by locals. Although hotel is a little way out away from the centre it did make us underground/and transport efficient by the end of our 4 night stay. The people were kind and did offer help when we struggled with maps etc Will be going back to Vienna sometime in the future. We made this trip as a special holiday for our golden wedding anniversary.

Very nice hotel and helpfull staff. Plate dirty though at dinner. The only thing that was negative is that my night linen by accident was taken when the towels were changed. Although I told them in the reception they didn't contact me about it and when we left I asked about it. The answer was that they will contact me if they do find it! Compensation should absolutely had been offered or at least an excuse.

Belevue hotel in Vienna is old fashioned grand type hotel.When we checked in the reception and porter was ok ish. Room was small compare to photos shown on the hotel web gallery.Walls are made out of card board like. you could hear someone in next room very clearly.In room you wont be expecting a kettle and complimentary tea or coffee, when ever you need a hot water or something you have ring to the reception or you have to make a journey to the restaurant bar.Then again when you ask for jug or thermos of hot water there wont be enough of them.which is very sad. Food wise, the breakfast was fine decent,but dinner was disaster.I had a pork cutlet with vegetables and crouton type of chrispy potato cakes. And my dad who is 78 years of age had a pork with mushroom souce and some gnoque type of potratoes but meat was like microvaved and rest of the food was ice cold. when I complained to the waitress , she said so what if it is cold it is cold.........even she said cannot believe what she said. Also I recognised there was some raicial issue. (I am from Mongolia but I am a British citizen) As I complained to the waitress she asked me that where I was from and I said GB..... she said something in her mouth. over all hotel is not 4 star quality i think, but could reach 2 star in my experience. As my review I do not wish to offer this hotel to anyone.

Tv is minuscule. Quite far from center. Internet did not work. Rooms large. Ok for price.

No new hotel, clean and tidy. Located near many wonderful public transport District 9 about three miles from the center of the city We loved staying at the hotel.

I was in the hotel for 4 days. Everything was great. If I need to go again to Vienna, I will stay in the same hotel.

Area is good - pretty close to metro line, hotel was surprisingly nice for the cost and the rooms were new and clean, very comfortable

Amazing service and clean,comfortable room. There is wireless Internet available I lobby free of charge. The hotel is only a block from a tram stop that will take you all the way to the train station. About a 20-25 min walk to the city center.

Spent 4 nights while on holidays. Hotel is easily connected with the subway and tram stops close by. Staff are great. Room was large - largest I've seen in Europe but very dated decor. No free wifi, limited tv, no pay movies as advertised. Bathroom was clean but could use a refurbishment. Was 3 stops on the subway from the tourist centre. We walked it a few times took about 40 mins. Nice safe area. Internet cafe, pub, grocery stores, and Asian take aways near by. Good for a traveller not wanting to spend a lot of time in their rooms,.

We stayed at Bellevue in Vienna for one night. The hotel is near a metro station. The room was spacious, service was good and all was ok. The neighbourhood by a railway station is not the best one, and there isn't that much restaurants or other facilities in the area. But the metro takes you wherever in Vienna you want to go.

We spent three nights at this hotel, which we found to be very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is somewhat expensive @ E15.90 pp, but there is a good selection of different dishes. There is free Wifi for 1/2 hour in the lobby - but it costs E10.00 for 24 hours in one's room. We found the staff very helpful. We needed a mechanic/breakdown service for our car, and they assisted with that. The head porter is very knowledgable and ready to offer advice and travel instructions. The hotel is not at the very centre, but the tram / underground service is excellent. My husband & I would most certainly stay there again and recommend it to others

Was weary initially based on some of the reviews. Once I got to the hotel and to the room I was pleasantly surprised. Room was very clean and great shape. Bathroom was very large and beds were very comfy. The neighborhood was neat and was fairly close to the ubahn. All in all a very nice hotel. I'd certainly recommend it.

A lovely hotel with large rooms. Very convenient for city centre and very close to trams, U and S Bahn. Would definitely recommend for a weekend break.

We were delighted that the hotel is easy to reach via the underground subway system in Vienna. The hotel is attractive on the outside as well as on the inside. We were WOW'd by the room as we stepped inside and discovered high ceilings, classic lighting, and a wonderfully large bathroom, ensuite. As travelers to Europe know, bathrooms are usually small. Every aspect of our visit left us with a positive impression. The desk clerk was very helpful, pointing out that we could take the tram to the city centre. It was just an over-all excellent experience.

Great location for the economy traveller. Hotel right across from train station, so it was right on the busline to the city center, and only a few blocks from the Danube canal and the subway system to take to Schoenburg palace, etc. Low-cost grocery and doner and brat stands across the street, and sidewalk cafes for nearby drinks. Breakfast 15 Euro, so didn't bother. Car parking overpriced at 20 Euro a nite, but safe. Not sure if the story that we couldn't leave our car on the street after 10 pm was true, since we saw many cars there overnite. Large, old-time hotel rooms; great old-time elevator; good service regarding sightseeing.

Cheap and cheerful hotel with spacious rooms. The hotel staff managed to loose our car keys which were later found and they gave us a free nights stay to apologise. Very central to the rest of Vienna witha station and tram service right across the road.

We stayed there 2 different times. I had read other reviews about having to pay for WiFi and I brushed them off, thinking I could do without it for a few days of my trip. However, when you're moving around Europe quickly as we were doing and you get back to the room pretty tired and just want to crash, the TV isn't good enough (unless you like the Euopean CNN's incredible in-depth coverage of certain issues). You can go down into the lobby and get 1/2 hour free, but again, when you're tired, you don't want to bother. Also, the convenience of free hotel breakfast means not having to spend time looking around for a place to eat breakfast. Hotel Bellevue offers both, but for about an extra 24 Euros or so. The location is OK - just a few UBahn stops from Stefansplatz. However, I think I'd spend more time next time looking for a hotel that had free wifi and breakfast for just a little more than I paid at Bellevue.

excellent location to trolley cars. easy to get around. greeting was very professional. lobby was a bit cold and austair.
