midway section of san diego close to airport, good value for san diego.

We arrived at 3am to our reservation and got the most hospitable welcome even at that hour. We had a wonderful stay and the place was very clean...comfy beds too. I'd stay again.

The hotel overall was good; breakfast was okay too. Only issue I had was finding a parking space - but I was there over the Memorial Day weekend. Both nights I was onsite late in the evening. First night, I was able to park in the far lot from my room. The second night, I could park either on the street or in a lot next door for a fee. The hotel woild reimburse thr fee so I opted for the lot.

To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. There was no parking available on the hotel grounds. We spent 45 minutes locating a safe place to park. Our room had soiled carpets and "banged" up furniture. The bath tub enclosure had traces black mold around the tub. Very disappointed, and not worth the "4" rating even on Hotels.com.

Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Nice rooms. Overall pleasant experience.

With the budget price for good location by Habor dr. 5Mins driving to Gaslam, 10min to little Italy and ocean view in the morning~free parking and free high speed wifi~what more can we ask~ The room was clean~shower was pretty strong and they clean yr room every day~ I would definitely come back next time when I go SD again!

We booked a second floor room but there were only basement level in the back which was dark and damp. The room smelled. The next day we went to the front desk with papers from hotel.com to say that we purchased a room on the second floor. They went above and beyond and gave us a beautiful room on the 5th floor with a bayside view for the next 5 nights!

The only dissapointment was we made our reservation a month prior to our trip and requested adjourning rooms, but when we arrived we were told we couldn't be accommodated.

My family was concerned with my choice of a Holiday Inn. They were pleasantly surprised! This hotel had great amenities, including pool, jacuzzi, real minature golf, and a nice restaurant. The room was adequate for our 1 night stay, but was on the smaller side. The beds are firm, so be aware of that. The staff members were courteous and helpful. They are current building an addition of 67 rooms, so it will just be getting better.

Had a great experience, myself, wife and 3 children..The price was awesome, the rooms were very clean. The service was good many places to go eat especially if u have children such as mcdonalds. Attractions very close to hotel. Enjoyed this place eould recommend.

Well over all it was not bad, but the price was a little bit to high for this level of hotel. I paid $200 per night for 2 nights. Well that me put it this way if I ever come back to San Diego I will not stay at this hotel if I don't have to.

Nice place. Beds aren't too great though.

The staff was extremely helpful in getting us in early as we flew in the same day as an evening wedding we attended. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient to the wedding site, and shopping centers so we could get food, forgotten items, etc. We had booked two rooms for our party and though both were clean, one had a stench in it that could not be gotten rid of. We did not have an opportunity to wait for another room as time was very limited, so we endured the smell, but even with the AC constantly running, it was present. That was the only thing that made the stay unpleasant. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and every thing else was very nice and fresh.

Very nice, I just wish hotels in San Diego included breakfasts in the normal room price but it gave us a chance to do a family breakfast out and found a great local joint.

We loved this hotel. We were upgraded when we went to check in. What a treat and a surprise. The suite was gorgeous and the view was sweet. We will definitely chose this hotel when returning back to the area.

Hotel was very nice and comfortable. The location was great and the staff was friendly. I couldn't ask for mor.

This is the second time I've stayed here. The hotel is in great shape, very clean and updated. Terrific location. Very good restaurant. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Very good service.

Booked this hotel by accident. Found the Holiday Inn in very good condition and staff was helpful and courteous. Good place for reasonable cost.

I found it relaxing and very well placed.

It was "OK" Bathrooms are old and quite small and the hot water takes forever to get warm. In general it needs a makeover but will do in a pinch.

Says you will have a bay view or pool view, all we got was a parking lot view. Beds where uncomfortable. Purchased ticket to include breakfast, but only covers a portion of your meal. Wanted a balcony but didn't get that either. Will only stay at the other Holiday Inn location next time.

Checked in early in order to use business center to print out boarding passes. Given upgrade to suite with fantastic views. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Holiday Inn Priority membership may have helped on upgrade.

This hotel was nothing fancy but it was clean and served its purpose. My major draw was that the airport shuttle starts running very early in the morning which worked really well for me since my flight was at 6:30am. I did think it was the Holiday Inn that was closer to downtown which didn't allow me to get around on foot as much as I would have liked.

The hotel location is excellent in terms of proximity to the airport and fine dining. The bay location is very pretty if you like looking at boats, boats and more boats. The parking is somewhat inconvenient to the rooms and the grounds could use some updating. There was zero information in the room about hotel services. I even had to call the front desk to find out the check out time. I had problems with the wireless connection and was told I might need a device I could come down and get at the hotel desk. There was no offer to bring it to my room and no option for technical support. They did not tell me about the business center on my floor, availability of printers and so on. I had to find that on my own. The nicest people were the cleaning staff. Otherwise, I had little support and no information. It was a place to sleep and that's about it. I would not stay there again.

We booked a stay at the Holiday Inn in San Diego not realizing there were more than one so close together. We had hoped to book one in the center, but made reservations for the wrong location. With that said, the only drawback was the location (considering our needs) which was about 4 miles from the desired spot. The staff was very friendly and when I asked for a room with a good view the gentleman gave us a room centered on a view of the pool which was very nice. If I had not wanted to be near the shopping/entertainment districts this location would be perfect. My mistake though, not a problem with the hotel :) Great stay and if I wanted a hotel close to the airport I would certainly book this location again.

Enjoyed the stay. Centrally located to downtown, the harbor and lots of restaurants. Easy access to highways. Loved the harbor view across the street. Would stay at this motel again.

Although my booking was saying I have full breakfast the hotel gave me a voucher for $20 only. parking for the car was not available so I have to take the car somewhere else, the free parking was part of the booking as well. it is an OK place for one night only because it was close to the airport.

Hotel room was clean, nicely decorated. We had 3 teenagers with us and so added a rollaway bed. It isn't a large room, but adequate. It seemed very quiet to us too.

our experience of staying in the hotel was very bad. the location is pretty good, because of the fact its so close to the airport and attractions like SeaWorld, but the facility was under repairs and that meant, dust and clutter all over the hotel.we had someone in our family with asthma problems, who had problems with dust. the rooms were not clean, we had stains on the comforter, linens which were pretty dark and visible, and similar ones on the bed and floor.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to an early flight out of San Diego. The staff we encountered were helpful and sweet. We had dinner to-go from the restaurant (really decent food, maybe a touch pricey), and a drink at the bar (very nice bartender). Overall, it would've been a fine inexpensive hotel experience, but our room was so loud! It wasn't holiday revelers that were keeping us up, just weird mechanical banging and knocking sounds. My wife woke me up twice, thinking someone was knocking on the door or trying to get in.

Great room, Great hotel and staff!

I like the location of the hotel and the rooms were nice. The staff had a list of places that we could go to that were close by. The only problem that I was dissapointed was that they only have shuttle to the airport. I think if they had free shuttle to Seaworld it would be great. The hotel would get more business.

room smelled bad, overall motel 6 looks better, staff un proffesional, i had to make a complain to manager to get us out of the tiny room that looked like a bug infested motel

New rooms, very quiet zone. The only think i was upset is the movie pay, 16,50dlls! and without any warning about it :-)

Location was great, convenient to many things, close to airport, freeways, downtown and the beach. All within a couple of miles. The hotel itself was very nice, great room, great pool and outdoor landscaping. Plus free parking and internet. I loved it! Would definitely stay again. Good for singles, couples or families.

We only needed a larger bathroom (for 3 women ), and lots more coffee.... We had a great stay. Our room smelled soooo clean :)!! We got more towels and coffee when needed. We were treated very well. Will definitely stay at this location again.

Good hotel. My only complaint is the parking, theres not enough parking slot.

I enjoyed my stay. Comfortable beds, and great sights from 5th floor views. Will definitely be staying here again!

THE front desk staff were below par, When we checked in they forgot to give us our breakfast voucher, which isnt usually a problem, however when we went to get one in the morning, they were more interested in there cell phones than helping us. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.
