Clean, quiet, large, nicely equipped room as promised.

The staff is very friendly and professional. The hotel has been renovated, but you can still tell that it's a bit on the older side. The floor in my room creeked in spots and the black-out curtains only covered the sides of the window. It was not designed to extend all the way across which I thought was very interesting. Luckily I was up early anyway so this did't bother me. But someone who is truely on vacation and wants to sleep in would have a hard time with the light shining in.

The hotel was our home for 7 nights while we visited San Diego and we were very satisfied. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Bunz Restaurant was convenient, good food, reasonably priced. There is no complimentary breakfast and no shuttle service, but we felt that for the price, we received a good value.

I thought the price was right. The room was clean had a fridg. It was a nice area to stay, well keep room! NICE POOL & JACUZZI!

This Days boasts being the highest rated in San Diego, and I see why. The room was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pool/spa area was nice. But the shinig gem of this hotel is Bunz, the hamburger joint attached to the hotel. Totally delish. If you have a chance to eat there, by all means jump on it.

The pictures look great online, but you won't be staying in that modern room with the plantation blinds. It was an old dingy hotel with new TVs. The staff was very nice, but the hotel just wasn't worth it, I thought it would be along the lines of courtyard Marriott, as the price was the same if not more. But it was more like an old motel you could get for 40$/night. Waste of money.

My stay was good, room service should pay more attention for refreshing soap bars, shampoo and other supplies, I spent my 4 days with only one hand soap bar and one bath soap bar, since it was a business trip I didn't spend much time in the hotel, so I didn't have the time to ask for those stuff.

Super busy hotel but very clean rooms that have been refurbished. Super friendly staff at check in, very nice! Parking is really tight as the hotel is very busy. Super great bargain for the price, would certainly stay there again!

The days hotel is on par or better than the majority of the hotels in the area. I think you could stay elsewhere if price is the big factor. The room was clean and nice and had a tiny fridge. I would stay there again.

Everything was pretty good except for the floors were squeaky. We were on the second floor, the squeaky foot steps from the third floor woke us up.

The hotel is older but adaquately matained. The room is equipped with a refrig & microwave, which is appreciated. To accomodate the placement of the appliances, the bathroom sink was elevated to a non-standard height. As a result, I was unable to use the bathroom mirror effectively to apply make up. There was another mirror in the room, but due to lack of lighting, made it impossible to use. I suggest either a permently affixed lighted mirror be installed to assist women who can not reach or see the mirror.

The photography of hotel makes it appear much better then it really is. We were disappointed when we first arrived because of the pictures. Had we not expected better we wouldn't had been disappointed. The "kitchenette" is shared space with bathroom counter. They do a good job keeping it clean but well used. It met our needs but definitely didn't exceed them. Multiple times we had to go to housekeeping to get our "needs" but they were always happy to help.

Was no AC, the machine (AC) was not working. The signal for the WI-Fi, was very weak.

The friendliness of the staff made our stay more enjoyable. All of the front desk people went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed. I will definately be staying there again.

The location was great but the rooms were not sound proof at all... You could hear every slamming door and shower in room nextdoor. The beds were advertised to be Queen size but they felt smaller, more like a double. If the room cost was $30 less than what I paid, it might have been a better value for what I got.

The room was spacious with a king bed and a couch. The decor seemed newly updated with a hip /elegant bed spread and lots of pillows ( they were actually nice pillows instead of the flat polyester pillows); new high marble sink area and new tile. The price was right considering that we were in San Diego, it was a few miles from the beach and downtown. We were pleasantly surprised. We would consider staying there again for a longer visit.

Lots of traffic noise from the freeway. Mold on the shower ceiling. No space for luggage. The air conditioner rattled. Clean room (stale / moldy smell), efficient staff.

Everything was good except the fact that there is not enough parking. Arrived late at night and had to have the security person show us to a spot to park that wasn't a real spot because there was no where else to park

Room was ok... We only stayed 1 night but took for ever to get a taxi even tho was satisfied with the flat rate for the taxi. Would give a better rating if the air conditioner worked in the room other than that would I stay there again? Maybe if it is last second...

while the hotel was good, The hotel was away from everything and will probably stay in down town next time. the front desk staff during the day were also not very helpful. the lady who manges the desk in the night was very helpful. The room service and housekeeping was great.

Conveniently located, close to old town, the airport, and the beaches. Loved the hot tub and pool. Room was large and clean with a fridge and microwave. If you're the type of person who is fairly easy to please, you can't go wrong with this hotel. If it's luxury and pampering you're looking for, you may want to look elsewhere.

a bit noisy but central and easy access to pretty much everything.i think putting a $50 "hold" on yr credit card for VERY night you stay is irritating. Then at the end of the stay you can't get a receipt stating that there were no charges... Not dishonest, just irritating.

excellent for the price. will stay here again next time! no problems, and the maintenance staff brought me towels and extra shampoo when requested.

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is located in a convenient location staff was friendly and helpful. One of the eyes on the stove didn't work...maintenance came and promptly resolved the issue. Our room was exactly what we needed. The room could have been cleaner...dirt on walls. Our family enjoyed our stay and we are already planning out next vacation and stay at the Days Hotel...please don't get it confused with Days I@@. I forgot to mention the kitchenette was already supplied with a set of stainless steel pots and pans, silverware, a set of dishes, other cooking utensils dishwashing liquid...(I took my own because I didn't know) We had a great stay! I would recommend this hotel.

Room was clean-close to eating places,pool was over crowded too many people for one pool, not enough seating around the pool overall good place to stay

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was comfortable; room had kitchenette but one stove burner didn't work at all. Excellent location. Pool and jacuzzi would have been very nice, but other guests were eating pizza in pool, though signs for no food etc were posted. Other guests using pool/jacuzzi were very loud and partying. Would have enjoyed those facilities more if guests were more monitored. Room service was good; room clean. Great rates. Easy driving distance (for guests with kids) to Zoo and SeaWorld.
