This was a lovely, well kept, historic hotel Loved the indoor pool and saunas. We stayed in a suite overlooking the meadow. Worth the price! Beautiful bathroom with heated tile and a balcony.

The Trianon Palace Versailles lives up to what one would expect of a hotel that wear the badge of Waldorf Astoria. The staff was VERY well trained, so they obviously are under good management. Like other travelers, I didn't realize my room was in the pavilion building, but it's nice enough, maybe not as opulent as the Belle Epoque building, but still very nice. The bathroom was the nicest on my recent trip (Which included a couple of Hiltons, and a Hyatt Regency) and there was nothing to complain about in the room. I was traveling with my mother, so the walk to the train station was a bit of a hike for her. If you're in decent shape, the walk is no problem, but there is a decent hill to climb on your way back to station and/or chateau. The location is a little secluded, but I suppose that's to be desired, and it was a great place to leave my rental car and not have to worry about it as I went into Paris to sightsee. A curious note- there is an undergound passage to the Guerlain Spa/Pool/Workout room. The passage and spa feel like they were very upscale during the 1990's, nothing to complain about, but It did have a distinctly 90's feel. Overall, worth a try.

Such an amazing place, we stayed in the pavillion which we loved! You still have access to palace and all it has it offer. We were booked in for four nights then extended one mire night as we did not want to leave. Very romantic and could of stayed there for a lot longer!

The staff of this hotel stand out for their friendlness and helpfulness. The interior of the hotel itself leans to the modern in style and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. However, there was no turn down service and there was a 5 euro per hour charge for internet useage, kind of odd in a hotel in this price range.

Excellent staff, great location but we were a little dissapointed not to have had a room in the main hotel as where we stayed was not really upto the standard we expected.

Nicely appointed rooms, clean, plush design. Rooms very spacious by European standards. Grounds very pretty, but you don't spend that much time there. Staff a little slow to help, and the atmosphere was a bit snobby for my liking. Sure, it's a nice hotel, but it's a bit stuffy. I wouldn't recommend it for younger people, but if you want to feel pampered and can spare the money, it's a beautiful and relaxing retreat. Some parts of the stay were very overpriced even for a luxury hotel--25 Euro for 3 hours of wifi internet! At this price, it should be free. (and as it is at most hotels these days.)

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night at the end of our Paris trip. The last day we wanted to visit Versailles, specifically the Chateau and gardens. From Paris, we took a taxi. This was because the RER C that goes from Paris to Versailles was pretty far from the hotel. The room was amazing! Probably almost as big as my apartment! Gorgeous windows, very nice and clean bedding, huge modern bathrooms. Please be careful if you decide to take a bath. The bathtub was extremely slippery and the faucet sticks out about a foot into the baththub. When I tried to stand up there was nothing to hold on to and I slammed my thigh into the faucet. I have a bruise the size of a golf ball from that. The restaurant in the hotel was very expensive for dinner so be careful about that too. Room service was prompt with breakfast. The concierge was very helpful...arranged a car to the airport for us, gave us great directions for how to get to the Chateau and mailed postcards for us. We really felt like we were in a luxury hotel and would definitely recommend it!

Absolutely perfect location -- just a 5 min walk from the Palace at Versailles, however, allow an hour to get to the airport. The room was spacious and had a great view. The buffet breakfast was quite extensive. The staff were very responsive. On the less positive notes, a 5* should not be adding wifi access as a surcharge. The hotel is approx 10 min walk from the town of Versailles, so plan accordingly if you do not wish to eat at one of the two restaurants in the hotel.

Great Hotel - very good dinning, Helpfull staff. If using the train / Metro, make sure to get off at the closest stop, otherwise it is a long walk...If going into Paris with suitcases - take a Taxi. Enjoy!

Perfectly located to visit Versailles. Wonderfull place and building Excellent service and food. A dream!

we stayed here for three nights. the first two nights we stayed in the palace overlooking the gardens - so amazing. the last night we moved to the pavilion because it was costing too much. this building is horrible. bad ordour, no heating on the tiles in the bathroom. table not wiped down. very budget. it does not carry the name of the hotel nicely. overall great location but very expensive

Our only complaint about this hotel was the access from the train station.We were arriving from Paris by train. The train stopped at the first Versaille station and did not go further. We walked about 20 minutes from there to the chateau, then had to ask directions to the hotel from people on the street. Luckily we only brought with us one small suitcase. I would suggest that you provide a shuttle service from the station to your hotel.

We stayed here 3 nights with 2 1/2 days of sightseeing. The location of the hoel is very handy to visit the Chateau Versailles, as you can go back to the hotel and rest then continue your tour around the Trianons and Marie Antoinette's Estate. The downside was the the hotel lift did not work. We actually got stuck in it, as it would not open the door, and kept oscillating between floors -1 and 3!!! When we tried to call for help, the telephone on the wall fell off!! And we could not make contact for help. It eventually stopped, the next 2 days we stayed there this lift was out of order. With only 1 lift working it was difficult. The staff did not take care in the mornings when closing the doors upon making up of rooms. The constant noise of doors banging disturbed our sleep, starting at about 8am. Poor noise insulation! They also knocked on our door for making up of rooms as there is no sign to hang out to let them know. This meant constant interruptions if you did not hang your Do Not Disturb Sign on the door. The air con also could not be adjusted. I believe they set it. I called reception and tried to set it at the temperature I wanted. It could not be done. This meant that the room was at a MINIMUM temperature of 24 degrees celsius CONSTANTLY, not comfortable or conducive for a good night's sleep. We had to keep the window open to cool the room down. I felt disappointed as these features are the basics of a hotel that I expect. Especially a hotel of this quality. So next time I would not stay here, instead I will stay in Paris and will just make a day trip out here. Versailles can be done in 1 day.

The hotel is in a great location if you are planning to visit the Palace of Versailles. It is a relatively short walk to the Palace and in a nice part of town. You cannot beat the location. The room was clean and roomy and best of all the air conditioning worked. Our experience with the staff was all very positive, they were all very helpful and it was easy to communicate in English. The only down side to the stay was their policy on having dogs in the rooms. I believe they permit guests to bring their dogs in their rooms and in the middle of the night we were jolted out of bed by the barking of a dog. We were on the third floor and it sounded like it was coming from down the hall. Maybe that is customary in Europe, but it caught me off guard. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.

The hotel was very nice ad clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. location was ok for us - as we had a car to drive to city center and back, and to the palace as well. pool was very clean and the water was warm. breakfast was good - much more than other french hotels!! highly recommended!!

Superb throughout and intend to return! Staff polite and efficient, room superb, good leisure facilities, breakfast tasty and in a delightful room, ideal location for visiting the Palace of Versailles. You don't get better than this!

Ideal location with secure parking in a quiet tree lined street adjoining Palace gardens. Easy walk to restaurants and Palace. Helpful and attentive staff, superb bedrooms in Pavillon annexe. Wonderful breakfast buffet, vast choice, but cooked items only luke warm. At these prices one could expect cooking to order. Top choice in Versailles if you can get a discount, but unless you're a pools winner, eat out. Restaurant and drinks eye wateringly expensive.

We returned to this hotel for a second visit, and were not disappointed. We had a comfortable room in the Pavilion building, which was a good size. The bathroom was spacious with Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. The hotel is adjacent to the gates of the Chateau of Versailles, which lead directly in to the gardens. The restaurant where we breakfasted looks out over these gardens. The breakfast buffet was substantial. Overall, highly recommended.

The hotel was amazing (people actually stood outside the hotel for photos), and the location for seeing the sights in Versailles was excellent. I would like people to know about 2 fees that the hotel has, one is that the city tax is a daily fee, but it is very small in my case less than $5 per day, and they may also like to know a deposit or credit card is required at check in to be used in the event room amenities are purchased. If you are leaving in the morning you may have trouble getting a taxi to the train station, so plan ahead. Besides that the room was stellar and the hotel emaculant.

Words cannot express. This hotel was amazing. Essentially inside the gates of Versailles. We booked it as part of the hotels.com welcomerewards program. Everything was extraordinary. We even had dinner at the Gordon Ramsey restaurant. Delectable. Of course, it is a Waldorf, and the restaurant is a Gordon Ramsey, so you definitely get what you expect.

Although the review was outstanding that I have. They have a main hotel and a smaller one across the courtyard. When booking say that you want to be in the main hotel. The other hotel has much lower standards.

We had an excellent stay at the Trianon Palace. The staff was helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable, well appointed, and quiet. Hotel location is exceptional - a half block from one of the gates leading into the Parc de Versailles. 10 minutes walk to Marche de Notre Dame and the RER station to Paris. A delight. To be fair, our impression was probably enhanced by the fact that we got a great rate (a 2 nights for the price of 1 summer special) - normally this hotel is quite expensive and perhaps more subject to questions of value for the money.

This hotel is extremely well located adjacent to the Chateau grounds. It is in a very quiet street and has pleasant gardens. THe room we had in the main building was very good-quite spacious and well maintained. Bathroom was also spacious Buffet breakfast was well stocked by French standards but very expensive-€38 each if it included warm items. Restaurant facilities are good but again pricey

Trés positif. Par contre même dans un établissement de ce niveau le prix pour un café au lait avec pain beurre : c'est trop cher.

Quelle beau cadre, un cadre idyllique pour une soirée exceptionnelle... Ayant déjà séjourné dans des hôtels haut de gamme, il est dommage pour un palace de se retrouver avec un nuage de poussière quand on utilise un sèche cheveux... Les photos illustres sur le site ne correspondent pas a la chambre reservé... Les chambres sont mal agencées, nous avons du déplacer certains meuble pour regarder la télé depuis notre lit! Cependant les activités annexes restent appréciable s!

Super dejligt ophold. Lækker betjening. Assisstance med det samme. Minus er der mangler fri wi-fi på sådan et hotel, samt elevator til poolområde itu (ikke godt når man er dårligt gående).

Bien sûr le bâtiment mélange avec goût modernité et héritage du Grand Siecle, mais ce dont on se souvient c'est surtout le sourire de chaque instant du personnel ! Un grand merci à tous, du voiturier au concierge en passant par les serveurs, vous avez enchanté notre week-end. La table de Gordon Ramsay est un incoutournable !

Excellent. Tout le personnel était très professionel mais aussi gentil. Superb petit-déjeuner et excellent service. Les mauvais points: normalement le wifi est gratuit - c'est incroyable qu'un hôtel, surtout un hôtel de 4 étoiles, demande une somme importante. Mon sandwich (même prix qu'un repas pour deux dans un bon bistro) était sans gout et tiède.

Superbe piscine et cadre reposant.

Hotellin palvelu oli erinomaista. Huoneet tilavet, tosin ehkä jo hieman ajan patinoimat. Toisaalta se tietenkin sopii rakennusten henkeen, ollaanhan melkein kuin Versaillesin linnassa konsanaan. Itse linnan portti on aivan hotellin portin vieressä; tämän kätevämpää hotellin sijaintia ei linnasta kiinnostuneelle voi olla. Aamupala ja muukin hintataso on korkea, mutta lähistöltä löytyy kyllä huokeitakin ruokapaikkoja. Kaiken kaikkiaan mukava kokemus, mitä ei ollenkaan vähentänyt se että saimme huoneen reilusti alle puoleen normihintaan verrattuna.

We stayed at this hotel for one night with my boyfriend and we found it absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and our room was great. The hotel grounds were beautiful and the hotel was right next to the Versaille castle park. We will definately come again.

●良かった点 ・何といってもフレンチブレックファストが大満でした。ここにきて素泊まりだったら恐らくあまり満足できなかったと思います。周辺は綺麗で花が一杯咲いていました。夜結構歩いている人が多く（夏だからか？）不安はありませんでした。 ・チェックアウト後でも、荷物を無料で預かってもらえる。 ・タクシーの手配が確実（普通は近隣へのタクシー利用は断られるが、すぐ近くの駅や宮殿入り口までのタクシー予約も可能であった。さすがです） ・宮殿見学は必ずミュージアムパスポートを事前購入お勧めします。特に土日は大変こみます。私たちは日曜見学予定でしたが、長蛇の列に並ぶだけで疲れ果てて、結局ここまできて断念、後悔でした。ただ午前に大小トリアノンすいている時に見学しここは並ばずゆっくり見学できました。ミュージアムパスで、午前に大小トリアノン見学し、午後宮殿の順がお勧めです。 ・朝食は大満足でした。このホテルで素泊まりでは味気ないもったいないの一言。予約時は８月いっぱいは工事で奥の宮殿レストランでの食事は出来ないとのことでしたが、すでにおわっており、可能でした。綺麗な庭を見ながら雰囲気抜群非常に豪華な宮殿風レストランで大満足でした。こんなのはパリ市街地では味わえません。座るときに椅子まで引いてくれる。コーヒー紅茶はあたたかい陶器のコーヒーポットで持ってきてくれます。ジュースはデカンタで絞りたてフルーツ生ジュース５種類も。パン１０種類くらい、ヨーグルトも５種類くらい。パンケーキ、クレープをその場で焼いてくれます。その他チーズ、ハム、サーモン、生フルーツなどなど。パリ市内のどのホテルよりもいいと思います。パリの歴史的地区の狭くて貧相な食事つきホテルに比べ雲泥の差でした。同じ金額でこれほど違うものかと正直驚きでした。おおよそ２ヶ月前に早期で予約したのでとても安くとまれました。（3名で朝食つき税込み２３，０００円） ●悪かった点 ・ネットが有料なこと。このくらいタダにしてほしい。 ・ホテルの対応はきわめて良い。悪いと書いている人は、きっとフランス語もしくは英語が伝わっていない人でしょう。ちゃんとした英語をしっかり話して意思表示すればＯＫです。（フランスはどこ行ってもフランス語、英語通じない人に対しては冷たいです。会話のエチケットは基本です。一生懸命話しているからいいというものではないと知らされました。ちゃんと話できるよう準備していくのがエチケットでしょう。）
