I stayed here one night and was very please. The staff was attentive and willing to help. The room was spacoius and very clean. A bit pricey for 1 night but very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

I understand the Quality Inn is going through renovations, however the entire place smelled like cigarettes. The "secure" doors leading to each area of the hotel where you would normally need to use your key...always unlocked..not secure. One of the hotel staff walked in on my fiancee to clean the room at around 9:30am and when he asked her to return later...they never did. We had to call the front desk at 5pm to have the bed made up and new towels dropped off, but were initially told that no one was available to do this. The housekeeping staff was singing in the hallways while cleaning other rooms, the bathroom was GRUNGY, mildewed tiles, tub that didn't drain properly. The only thing going really was the comfy bed. Sorry but there are other hotels that offer your same rate, if not cheaper and are MUCH nicer. We just wanted to try out a different location while visiting family in town.

The air-conditioner was leaking, breakfast was good though.

Close to mall and resturants, 7.5 miles to en-joie golf course, we were attending the Dick's Sporting Goods Open (Champions Tour). Clean, comfortable, full complimentary breakfast, friendly staff.

Room was nice and we were told that it was recently renovated. They didn't renovate the bathroom, which could have used it.

The room overall was decent for a quick stay, but the bathrooms were extremely old and coming apart - grout was nasty, and the tub and overall bathroom was either filthy or it was so old it looked that way. The actual room seemed clean however.

The best things were the microwave and refrigerator. They have a nice free breakfast that includes hot items. Staff were friendly. There were three days no one even emptied my garbage. They no longer have phone books in the rooms - first time I have ever seen that! When they finally found me one, it only contained the business section - and it took then 45 minutes to even find that. I have stayed there many times without encountering any of these problems. I don't know if they have changed owners or what.

Hotel looked like an old motel, worn out and not too clean. Room felt and looked dirty. Bed sheets had a few, what looked like old blood stains on it. Two of the towels had hairs on them. The room looked old and worn and didn't feel like you were in a clean room. Seems like they are doing room upgrades so there was some construction going on. Actually the room across from mine was open and stripped and looked like it was under remodel. However, two times saw a man walk out of that room...it appeared as he was crashing in it overnight. I hate to say it but overall, I felt I paid too much and I will not stay there again. Very dissatisfied! I must point out that the employees were kind and courteous...not their fault the hotel failed.

Good place to stay. Much construction / renovation at the time I was there. Adjoining Restaurant was not something I would recommend.

It was fine for an overnite stay.

There were ants all over the room. They switched my room but I didn't sleep well after seeing all the ants. I would have left the hotel but it was very late. I should be refunded my money. Very bad experience at the Quality Inn. No quality.

This hotel was clean and very friendly. I also liked their complimentary breakfast in the morning.

The stay was fine with no problems and some extra benefits. They have some hot breakfast options including waffles and scrambled eggs which made it more interesting. There is free coffee all day in the front desk area. The outdoor pool was also nice.

We stayed one night and the rooms were fine. The continental breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The price was right.

The hotel just had a renovation of the lobby area and the rooms were clean with new comfortable beds. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast included eggs and sausage so that was a nice surprise. I will stay here again if I'm ever back in Vestal.

night clerk, was a little hostile at check in. overall good for the $ we paid.

We got there and they were doing construction on other rooms down the hall. Also the door nearest to us was out of order. Besides that it was good. Breakfast was fine. The room was clean. Very handicap friendly.

The bathroom had mold in the shower. The young man behind the desk in the late evening (11pm-ish) was very rude. I will not be staying there again.

We experienced two occasions when the room wasn't cleaned/when asked. We felt the bed wasn't made properly as the sheets came off of the mattress. We also felt the hallways were not as presentable as we thought they should be considering the price we paid per day.

This is by far the worst hotel staying experience I ever enounted. We have to switch rooms three times due to the terrible stinty smell and dirt of rooms. The receptionst once give us a room that is still occupied with someone else, what a mess! Finally we got a not-so-good room out of four unacceptable rooms. The A/C make loud noise. And here comes the most surprising part....................................... be aware, travellers, this hotel does NOT clean your room ever! We left tips on table the morning, when we return at night, tips gone, room remains uncleaned. What a jerk they hire! Stay away, it's not just about money, it also will ruin your vacation mood for the whole period.

Stay was good. Room was completely fine - did not smell of smoke. I thought it was a good value. Room had a small fridge and microwave, which was nice. TV was dated but we didn't care, never used the TV. Place was a bit dated compared to all the new hotels that were recently built in the area but it is also less expensive so all in all, it's a good value.

Overall I liked my stay. I prefer an additional sink outside the bathroom which it didn't have. There could have been more water pressure in the shower. But still, I wish I was there right now instead of being home.

Very close to Binghamton University which was great only problem was the construction that was going on right at the hotel. Had a little problem with the lights and they fixed it right away. Great service. Rooms were very clean but when they did a change over the next day they did not vacuum the floor, ony bad part of the room.

We actually were very pleased when we walked into our room. I had read some of the other reviews (some negative) and considered looking elsewhere, however decided to stay there. It was NOTHING like what negatives responders had reported. It was very nice. Just goes to show you that you can't believe everything you read. (Except for this!)

This hotel and its online ratings were extremly misleading. The lobby is nicely kept and looks to be recently renovated. The hallway leading to the rooms in a non-smoking area wreaked of cigarette smoke. Lastly, on the last day of my stay, I found a bedbug in the bed. I am very dissatisfied with this hotel. I would never recommend it to anyone, nor will I ever stay here again.

I took the trip to visit Binghamton University. Very convenient if you don't want to take a car onto the campus. But be prepared to jaywalk, because you're gonna be walking across a four-lane arterial road, and the pedestrian light on the opposite side of the road doesn't work. Not a lot along that road, except for some college kid food chains. Can't speak about convenience to attractions in the city of Binghamton. As for the hotel itself, it's clean, the showers were good, WiFi worked... the continental breakfast was okay... Overall, no real complaints, and I'd definitely use it again to visit friends or something at Bing.

I'm 19 and I'm not one to be a critical judge on places such as this, but I must say I think it's important I write something. From the moment you walk in, it's an amazing newly renovated lobby with huge ceilings and nice decor. Once you check in and walk towards the rooms, the atmosphere COMPLETELY changes and you feel like you're in a rendition of "The Shining" as the hotel turns for the worst. The hallways smell strongly of old cigarettes, even though I was in the "Non-Smoking" section. Even entering the room was a challenge! After putting the key-card in the door, you had to really run into the door so it would open, followed by a loud banging sound since it kept getting caught in the door frame. The TV was old as I expected but they had some obnoxious features on it such as a music player. The player itself was fine, but if you let the songs run past the 5:00 free trial, it automatically charges your room for about 16$! Of course I only found out about this the day I checked out and it was all by mistake- Even so, there was a no refund policy. The beds were ok (Twin Doubles) but the main complaint I have is that the comforter was spewing feathers out all over the place and it was as if I was a darn chicken the three mornings I woke up. To sum it all up, I'd recommend the hotel for someone on a tight budget as it is a quality night's sleep, but you'd be better off paying the extra ~30$ a night down the street at the Holiday Inn.

Enjoyed the breakfast...they had scrambled eggs, ham, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, etc. Hotel staff was friendly and courteous. The room was a bit chilly when we arrived (end of Dec.) but it quickly heated up. We had to pay a fee for having a small dog with us but I have no objections to that. All-in-all it was a nice place...we will return.

The Hotel itself was fine nice large rooms. There were alot of construction workers staying there as well and therefore it was quite noisy around 4:00 am. I'm not sure i would stay there again if they are still there.

The hotel staff was friendly and cooperative. The bathrooms were old and had a musty odor. The room one the first floor was very noisy from outside noise.

I cannot say enough good about the experience we had this past weekend at this hotel. My son was married on Saturday in Owego. The staff at the hotel went above an beyond to make sure our stay was a memory we would never forget. The sadness and devistation from the recent flooding that surrounded these communities in New York will forever be etched in our minds. Your front desk staff member Shawn suffered personal loss from this flooding and never left on he was a victim of the flooding. He was so professional and so helpful with our needs for a second room for our son and a guest that the stress was completely removed when we seen his willingness to host our family. It was not until Sunday morning at breakfast that we learned that Shawn, his wife, and 4 children had lost everything in the flooding. I commend you for hiring staff that has a true compassion for the people they are there to serve, especailly when their day or their struggles are so much more greater than those of a vacationing guest and yet they serve their guest with a smile. Thank you for this opportunity to stay at your facility and thank you for the service you provide.

I was pleasantly surprised that this motel was as good as it was. My experience with Quality Inns has not been all that good. The room was clean with a refrigerator and microwave. The staff was very friendly. The hall carpeting and stairways could use a makeover but these are minor things. Because of stairs and multiple levels its probably not as handicap friendly as other facilities.

I was dissapointed - For starters after a 4 hour ride I wanted to have a HOT cup of coffe, so at the check -in desk there was complementary coffee which made me very happy, and when I took a sip it was cold - A turn off RIGHT AWAY - The stairwell and room had a very strong smell of cigarette The breakfast did not have many choices but it was ok - Location is great because its situated right across the Binghamton campus

This hotel is in bad need of renovation. The carpets and furniture are very well worn. The room stank from over usage of air freshener. They had a cheesy oil air freshener in the outlet which gave us a headache. The entrance door to the building has a broken lock. The bathtub finish was chipped. There was graffiti on the screen of the window of the room we stayed in. I felt so uncomfortable I left a day early even though I had prepaid for the room.
