Red Lion Hotel Portland - Convention Center - بورتلاند

I enjoyed my stay, particularly because the bed was so comfortable. The pillows were of superior quality with excellent conformance and support. The location on McLaughlin Blvd was a bit noisy late at night with the sounds of motorcycles going by. Big screen TV also a plus.

This is a very comfortable hotel and the staff was quite friendly. The Banquet that was arranged for our group was great, one of the best in years. Our group personally congratulated the director/chef on his work. Everything was in place, food served at correct temperature and on-time.

Very convenient hotel to the convention center and other Portland sites. Great service!

The front desk service of this hotel aside from one excetion, was awful. You are first greeted by an outstanding 14 dollar per night parking fee, normaly I would be fine with this, but the lack of maintance, the confusion of the garage and the size of the spots make this lot a disaster. You walk into a lobby with an odd smell and outdated look. The staff is a mix of over bearing and unfriendly staff. There is no help with your bags, so pack light. The elevators are a little shaking but fast. Rooms aside from awesomely large and comfy beds, are small. The hotel has no individual ac, they do supply a fan or a space heater, and a window, so there's that. Hotel roof bar "windows" while a dump offers an awesome view of the city. Location is great and the Max is less then a block away. Overall I won't be staying here again and will pay the extra money to stay at the amazing hotel Marriott up the street.

Nice place, great views from the top floor restaurant, very convenient to the convention center and transit line. It seemed like it needed a bit of TLC, ready for some upgrades. For example, the "ice machine" on my floor was just a freezer with bags of ice in it. No big deal, just not quite as nice as I expected for the price. Overall, it's fine, I would be happy to stay there again.

The room was much better than it looks like based on the outside of this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable and a great price.

Being right across from the Convention Center, there's a lot going on and it's a bit noisy with the trains going by. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent upstairs and the breakfast diner downstairs has amazing breakfast. I would stay again for sure. The bathroom towels were thin and scratchy, but other than that, everything was top notch.

The staff at the Red Lion was exceptionally helpful and courteous. The front desk, the restaurant and the service staff was friendly and made our stay a pleasure.

The room let in way too much of the street noise all night and the heater was too noisy and did not heat the room well. Did not sleep well atit all. The front desk staff was very friendly yet I would not stay there again.

comfortable beds and available amenities like the cafe and lounge. Would have taken advantage of them had the location not been walking distance convenient to local food, mall, nightlife, etc. I am grateful for the hotel accommodating pets.

Greetings ....good location,easy access from the Max Line , green , red (to the airport) and i think the blue line. Close to Amtrak station. Conns, the rooms a bit cool, but OK for me, (from Canada eh !) but will supply heater if you need one, as many other guests will request. Many restaurants nearby, also a Walgreens and 7-11 and a shopping mall within 3 blocks. The MAX line can heard, can be a bit loud, depending which room you are in and the building can shake at times. The staff is friendly and good breakfast. I have stayed here before and would stay there again , mainly because of the location and clean rooms. No safety deposit box in room, but you can use one at the front desk. Cheers

Great location, however rooms were hot and stuffy, construction blocking parking in thier lot, old and stained toilet seats. In addition no one informed me of a live band playing late into the night shaking and blasting through out the hotel. I will not stay here again.

Would stay again. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Location is 1/2 block from train stop from the airport. We njoyed our stay.

Poor service. When I asked where the additional parking was he said down the Ramp. Then I saw a ramp like road right beside the reception. I asked him is this the ramp. He loudly said no there is a ramp. I was tired and didn't want to make a fuss. It's not that I didn't hear him I had a second question. But his rudeness stopped me from asking it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone where staff intereacts like this.

This hotel is in the perfect location if you are attending any functions at the Oregon Convention Center. The room I stayed in had been recently remodeled and was very pleasant. The lounge on the 6th floor has a beautiful view of the city.

The location of this well managed hotel is fantastic. My only complaint was that it was right beside the LRT tracks which were quite loud when it passed during the day but luckily it only ran until 12:30pm.

Room was small but clean. Service was good from all staff including parking staff security.

Check-in was quick and easy. The room was decent, but the bed not so comfortable. The biggest complaint about the room (and we were on the 2nd floor) was the noise. We heard the MAX light rail-trains and road noise all night long. The elevator during a couple of trips had a strong sewage odor. Otherwise, it was fine. We tried to eat breakfast in the attached cafe, but the staff was more worried about delivering room service than servicing customers in the dining area. We ended up walking out without even getting to order because we were in a hurry. Another couple came in just after us and never even got acknowledged or seated in a span of 5 minutes. The parking spaces are TINY and most are next to great big columns. The cost of parking is a turn-off as well, though it only applies to overnight stays. It is actually quite convenient if you stay the night before an event at the Convention Center (across the street) as you don't have to move your car. The Red Lion Inn website shows a swimmer icon next to this location on its website, but don't be fooled. There is no pool! Happy Hour in the lounge is family-friendly and a good value. The staff in the lounge were very nice and the view is pretty terrific. Overall, I would call this a 2-star hotel, not more because of the noisy rooms, poor parking spaces, and the disappointing cafe.

This hotel was absolutely terrible. Hotel is on a rail line and that coupled with the paper thin walls and single pain windows meant every noise from every room and from every passing car was right in our hotel room. The hotel was old and dirty. The service was good but they were completely overwhelmed by the volume of people in their hotel (hotel was full for a tournament). Next trip to Portland, I will not stay anywhere near the convention center and I certainly won't stay in this hotel again or with this hotel chain.

We were in Oregon attending an event at the convention center, which is right across the street. The light rail is also right there, which made it easy to get downtown and to the airport. Great location. Room was a little small, but clean. The staff was extremely helpful and kind.

Convenience to the convention center was wonderful. Very easy to get back and forth even between sessions. Convenience to the MAX was so easy also, we recommend staying here.

i did not like the staff at the front desk of the hotel. they were rude when we called for a wake up call. they acted as if they had no time to bring up more towels. also a lot bums were hanging out in front of the hotel and they harrassed us while walking to a nearby restaurant.

Rooms were small and tight but clean. The hallways are very tight as well. We had problem with our door handle which led to us changing rooms. The hotel staff handled the situation perfectly. They got us into a new room immediately without any questions. We felt safe in the neighborhood despite a few panhandlers near by. This place is great for a very quick overnight stay or a short stay for easy access to the Convention Center or Rose Garden.

Location was great for our event that was held at the Rose Garden. We weren't impressed with condition of hotel. We were expecting a little more with it being a Red Lion hotel. I felt like I was in something closer to a Motel 6. Also very unhappy with having to pay an additional $14 for parking at a place we already were paying to stay at. I would expect the parking to be part of our stay and I was not informed on any additional parking fee until we arrived. In the future I will definitely reconsider staying at Red Lion hotel.

It is expensive to stay in downtown hotel, so we decide to stay in a hotel that is a bit far from it. It is only couple stops from Union Station. Not much noise at night. The bed is comfortable and clean. Bathroom is a bit small but ok. We paid about $65 per night. Very convenience place for taking public transportation.

Staff was very helpful, very professional and very courteous. The noise from the street and train stop was significant and made it difficult to sleep.

Overall, very underwhelmed. About as nice as a Motel 6. Desk clerk was curt and unfriendly. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing him by checking in or checking out. I'll stay somewhere else next time.

It was everything we needed close to the medical facility we had to be at. We didn't stay in the room much as we had a full schedule with the doctors. The light rail was a little bit loud but didn't interfere with our sleep. Rooms were clean and well stocked with towels and coffee. Thank you!

You can walk to whatever you need, which is nice. No pool though :( but comfortable beds. Great food. Lounge in building. Great price for the quality. I would say I recommend it.

I absolutely loved the hotel staff. Every single one was polite and very helpful.

Was a decent hotel to go to trailblazers games, able to walk everywhere and not need a cab
