Hotel Santemar - سانتاندر

Noisy, guests coming in at all hours shouting and banging doors, no consideration for other guests. room ok but found hair in the bath!!!!!! and mould in ceiling!!!! to much choice in the area for these problems, will not stay again

We have stayed here many times and have never been able to fault it - especially at the prices offered by Hotels.com!!

In need of an urgent refurbishment. Very old and worn and a bit dark. I was given a twin room even though I was staying there on my own and when I asked to be moved to a double room they were very rude and said no. The staff at the cafeteria are great, very nice and polite. You have to pay for the wifi in your room but it is really slow and you can only connect two devices at the same time so I had to keep connecting and disconnecting my two phones, laptop and ipad. the rooms are very old fashioned and in general seem like they have not invested anything in the last 10 years. Great location though, right next to the beach and a 5 minutes drive to the town centre. Loads of parking right outside the hotel so you dont have to use the hotel's underground car park

It is well situated close to the beaches, shops and restaurants of Sardinero. We have used this hotel many times over the years and have always found it excellent.

only 5 minutes from the ferry port. quite location, ample parking or secure parking if required. local bars with good food nearby. no tea or coffee making in the rooms. easy access to the s20 motorway out of the town.

Hotel was good and clean but the lack of drinks making facilities in the rooms and unable to get cup of coffee at 6am spoiled it.

will be back. Loved it!

excellent location near the beach and casino hotel staff very efficient woke up first morning with blood on my pillow which I thought was from a bite of some insect staff very efficient in getting medic to me who dressed the affected area

Easy to find, very close to beach and bus stops, comfortable, and very nice on the inside.

We had a great break in santander. The hotel is in a great location 2 mins from beach and a good selection of eating places. The city is 10 mins on bus for 1 euro 20. The one complaint about the hotel was the noise from the rooms around you, but everything else overcame that. we have spoken about going back.

Excellent hotel will stay again with out hesitation, Hotel excellent position for car ferry. food very good . very secure car parking under hotel.

very well situated for an over night stay if you are catching the ferry.the terminal is 5 minutes drive away.the staff were pleasant and polite. the hotel is 2 minutes walk from the beach. hotel food was expensive but there are places to eat near by. we were suprised to find that there were no in room coffee or tea making facilities. private parking was on offer at a reasonable cost, which is ok if your car is loaded with personel goods.there was also plenty of on street parking available in march, possibly limited in the busy season.

This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location but, the restaurant is fairly expensive by Spanish standards and we were very disappointed to find that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Not exactly what we expect of a four star hotel.

Great hotel and good location for beach (5 minutes walk). Bus stop close by with buses every 10 minutes into Santander centre. No need to use the holtel car park as parking was available on the street for free. Our visit was just out of season (late September), so parking on the street may be more difficult in the middle of summer? The staff we're excellent and the costs of meals and drinks in the hotel bar were very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.

The hotel was easy to find as we just took a bus from the coach station. The room was very spacious and we even had a view of the beach. It was spotless and nothing to complain about, especially as the rate we got was great!

Well located in a great part of Santander, if you are there to enjoy the beach or with a family.

El hotel está muy bien, tanto sus instalaciones, como su ubicación, frente a la playa del Sardinero y muy cerca del centro de Santander. Además, es fácil llegar y está muy bien comunicado con la salida de la ciudad si lo que se pretende es hacer turismo por la región. La única pega es que es muy grande y sólo hay tres ascensores y en las horas punta es imposible coger un ascensor, así que a veces nos tocó bajar desde la septima planta por la escalera.

Hay solo 2 cosas que nos han molestado de este Hotel: La primera es que hacia muchisimo calor, preguntamos por el climatizador de la habitación pero nos dijeron que al ser noviembre estaba solo en modo calefacción, por lo que la´única alternativa era abrir todo el rato las ventanas de par en par... sin mucho efecto. Y la segunda, es que ibamos de vacaciones, levantandonos normalmente sobre las 10 de la mañana.... pero las limpiadoras a eso de las 8 o 9 estaban en la puerta dando voces, golpes, con la aspiradora... Ha sido un poco desastre en ese sentido, aunque las habitaciones están bien y la ubicación es genial.

Pedimos Habitación con 2 camas gemelas, y nos sorprendió que la anchura de las mismas, de 80 cm, era a nuestro entender y dada la categoria del Hotel, extremadamente escasa.

Buena calidad-precio teniendo en cuenta que no era en temporada alta. Por lo tanto, gracias a esta circunstancia había aparcamiento disponible a las afueras del hotel sin problema. La ubicación, muy buena si se quiere disfrutar de la playa del Sardinero, a 1 minuto andando. Además, está situado en una de las zonas más bonitas de Santander ya que está al lado la playa y el palacio. El centro en coche 2 minutos contados.

Très bien situe pour quelqu'un qui aime marcher mais excellente situation pour la beach.

Solo que bajo las camas había polvo en mayor cuantía que lo habitual.

El personal de recepción muy fríos, distantes, te tienen que hacer sentir como en casa, y no fué así, almenos yo y mi pareja no lo percibimos, decepcionados. La situación de la habitación no nos gustó.
