Nice hotel within walking distance of Disney. Pros: great pool area open late, nice sized room, much more affordable option, friendly helpful staff, they let us keep our car parked beyond checkout while we visited the park, complimentary PCs available near lobby though tremendously slow Cons: finicky wifi, hair in the bathroom, bathroom could be cleaner, hair in the clam chowder, parking surcharge, food was average but portions were generous, no towel racks I would stay there again if other hotels of the same price point ranked worse in the reviews! My fiancé wouldn't haha.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Menage. We had prime views of the Disneyland fireworks, which worked perfectly since by that time of night, my daughter would not last being out at the park itself. Staff was very helpful. We had room service each night of our stay. The prices were very affordable and the food was great. Breakfast was also very well priced and substantial. Room itself was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I was expecting more noise being so close to freeway, and with lots of kids/families staying, but I thought the noise level was well contained with the insulation of the room. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub very much. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Some rooms are closer to the freeway than others. Ask for a room that is away so you don't have to hear it ALL NIGHT LONG!!! Other than that the restaurant was very reasonable priced and hotel was great. We will stay there again.

I spent two nights at the Menage for a disneyland trip. As a place to sleep and unwind at after a day of running around at the parks, I highly reccomend it. The amenities are not too extravagant, as our room didn't even have a fridge, but the comfort was there. I know ill be back as long as their prices stay awesome.

The hotel charges hidden fees when you check in that are not stated in their website. They also charge for parking!!!! Besides all this our coffee pot did not work and the hot tub was cold. Not a great stay for the price they charge.

The Loby is great for the Adult atmosphere. The pool has a bar for drinks & food. Loved the place will go back again.

Not good service at restraunt

The staff is well orientated toward customer service. From the front door, the front desk and to house keeping my family needs were always considered and accommodated. Valet/Door Men: 10+ Front Desk: 10 House Keeping: 10 The hotel is clean and average. However, it appears to be approaching that fine-line of a well used hotel. Nothing stands out as a problem but it does seem to deal with a high volume of guest. Could have done without the parking fee. $20.00 per night (two nights) is high in my opinion.

You can literally see disneys fireworks! The pool is awesome the service is awesome the rooms are great only thing missing is a fridge and microwave. But overall great stay

After reading reviews, I figured this the hotel was for my family ....... I was wrong! They call this a hotel but looks like an INN or motel. We stayed numerous hotels surrounding Disneyland and by far this is the worst. First, the elevator had a horrible odor, and graffiti.Next, the room had a stench and it was stuffy with AC not working properly. Finally, we stayed in the back next to the freeway and it was noisy all night .

This hotel is so great and exillent service and a good view of Disneyland u guys will have a blast

Walking distance to all that is Disney. The "loft" style rooms are the nicer - at least to my taste. Whatever you do, don't let them put you facing the freeway - no earplugs are mighty enough to mitigate it. A decent value at off-season discount rates.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The room was very clean and comfortable and you could see the Disneyland fireworks from our hotel on the balcony. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the restaurant and bar were tasty and well priced. It was only a 15 minute walk to Disneyland and directly across the road from a Starbucks, convenience store and Taco Bell, which were all very handy. Would definately stay here again.

Stayed at Hotel Menage recently with the bf on a trip to disneyland and it was just ok. Purposely picked it b/c other reviews said it was "boutique" and there were less families...being honest , this hotel is a slightly remodeled motor lodge, not a boutique hotel. It has very little in the way of atmosphere or frills. Rooms are really basic, concrete white walls and doors open to an outdoor hallway and either you face the freeway (loud) or you face the pool (loud). No options here. Service was just ok, not a standout. My real complaint would be that the place was crawling with teenagers and kids which it itself is fine but there were screaming kids at the pool unsupervised at 1030pm and running up and down the outdoor corridors and the sound just echoes straight up to the rooms. The hotel did nothing about this, which i think is unfair to the other guests. The lounge area could be cool-its sort of an open area with couches etc and live entertainment it just so happens that our visit coincided with a torrential rainstorm so it was freezing with gale force winds, but on a nice evening it would be a decent place to hang out. There aren't alot of cool places near Disneyland to stay - most are motor lodge type places, but for the premium price i paid for the Menage I think I'd have rather stayed somewhere else and saved the money. Oh and they charge a daily fee for parking, plus its $4 per adult for the shuttle to Disneyland, just extra costs to keep in mind.

Very nice hotel! Very clean! Rooms were great! Just don't get a room by an elevator cause it will wake you up in the middle of the night. Other then that it was a great time.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Menage. My wife and two kids (ages 5 and 6) loved it. Great location. You can buy Disneyland tickets in the lobby and the shuttle drops you off about as close as you can get to the front gate. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, even making restaurant reservations for my family at a Disney restaurant for some character dining. Overall, the hotel has a nice feel to it, with a contemporary lobby, always some reggae playing in the background, and a great pool/bar area. After spending the morning at Disney, it was a good place to come back and have a few drinks by the pool while the kids swam. We also ate breakfast in the hotel and the food and service were both good. The only downside to the hotel is that it's a bit noisy (traffic from hwy 5) but the hotel itself was nice. You can tell that it was an older motel that was re-done, but the rooms were well appointed. The bathroom probably could have used some updating, but everything was functional and the rooms themselves had pretty good beds, updated furniture, and a relatively new flatscreen TV. It's not the swankiest place I've ever stayed, but I would and will definitely stay at the Hotel Menage again.

Walk to Disneyland. After a day at the park, head back to the pool bar. Super friendly bartender, meet nice people, stumble back to your room, sleep in comfy bed. What more could you ask for?

What a great place to stay. Close to everything I wanted to do. Beautiful pool and surroundings. we had a great time.

A close walk to Disneyland (unless you have a child in a stroller-- you must cross an on/off ramp to get to the park). Wonderful staff, clean rooms, cheap parking (self park or valet). Pool is 24 hours with a nice tiki bar outside. The inside bar has good prices but closed early on a Friday night which was a little disappointing. Overall, a great experience. I'd stay there again, and I just might.

This hotel is in a great location! The staff is very nice. Great pool and jacuzzi that's open 24 hrs which is rare! Short 10-15 min. Walk to Disneyland. Modern furnishings in room, very comfy beds. The only problem is the noise from the freeway which is right there. Had to have the tv on low to drown out the sound.

Between the super small room that wouldn't fit a cot, water leak from in ceiling light fixtures, super inconvenient walk to Dland (if you have small children), excessive noise due to freeway traffic, and the room key needing to be constantly re-imaged...I can't recommend this hotel. I definitely will not stay here again. I had no issues with employees, but the building lacks.

I must say, despite the fact that there is a freeway near the hotel, the room was pretty quiet. My two nights at the place was nothing more than perfect. Everything was clean and well-placed. These were some of the best beds I've ever slept on. The showers were clean and I never ran out of hot water. The hot water maker was used though my stay and there was coffee available. The staff was quite helpful. The restaurants within the facility were ready to serve me. The happy hour? Brilliant. The neighboring places offer a nice night scene with some dance clubs, fusion restaurants, and pubs. If I MUST complain about something, it would be the television sets. I brought my laptop with hopes to use the flat panel television as a computer monitor. The hookups in the rear did not have inputs for VGA cables. No biggie, though. For the price I paid, we had the perfect view from the top floor of the Disneyland fireworks display that went off on that Saturday night. A sight that I would never forget. I'd recommend this to those who wish to get the best bang for the buck in the overly competitive Anaheim area.

The Disneyland location is only a short walk/ride away and offers a pool, hottub and entertainment in the bar area. Always a pleasure

Pro: Clean room, close to Disneyland and Freeway. Heated pool, friendly staff, large room. Con: Loud surrounding, especially the noise from the freeway and the pool area. I specifically asked for the quietest room in the hotel. Still, the noise from the freeway is loud.

The interior decor is really tasteful, the rooms are large, and the employees went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. It was very easy to walk or take the shuttle to Disneyland.

Hotel service was excellent however, walls are paper thin and renovations during the day were loud and annoying.

Along with every other guest we spoke with at the hotel, we had each stubbed a toe on one of the the bed legs. They extend beyond the size of the mattress and are not visible when you 'round the corner. OUCH - three days later and it still hurts!!!! Other than that, it was a very good experience. Loved going out at night to the jacuzzi. The staff were very friendly. BTW, they said they have received many complaints about guests stubbing their toes and were looking into changing the bed frames at some point, but couldn't do it right away, as the hotel is only five years old (since it was converted from a Holiday Inn.

The Hotel Menage in Anaheim is VERY close to Disneyland, which was wonderful! Parking was $10 per night which wasn't bad at all. The only reason I didn't give the hotel a perfect rating is because it did need some work, the elevators are old, one of them had some graffiti and another smelled like cigarette smoke. I was a little worried about what our room would look like but was pleasantly surprised that it was AWESOME. Very modern decor with a huge flat screen TV, cleaning staff was friendly and thoroughly cleaned our room and left extra toiletries. I was very happy with the service, cost and cleanliness of the hotel. Oh and we were with our young child but the happy hour area and tiki bar near the pool looked very fun. One more thing, even though we stayed facing the pool (and tiki bar) we heard no noise from the partyers downstairs :-) added plus!

We would have loved to stay another day and used the pool more and taken in the area. Around an easy 10-15 min walking distance to disney. The help at the front desk can also give you shuttle passes for a few dollars and pick up is in front of the hotel. Only thing no refridgerator in the room, If you bring some food just have a cooler with, can get ice from the ice machine to keep things cool. Everyone we talked with was very pleasant and helpful.

I knw it's a refurbished Hoiday Inn bit it's still next to I-5 and the I'd room air conditioners make for a noisy room. The furniture is scraped up and much of the lobby area is just shabby: flaked paint, scraped furniture, cobwebs in the lights, etc. Boutique means somthing, not just odd color ad decor choices.

thought it would be a little nicer.

The food prices were so reasonable that we had most of our meals here before going to Disneyland. A 5 minute shuttle ride meant it was convenient to come home for lunch and a swim on most days. The food was very good, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I also love the fact that the pool and jacuzzi is open 24 hours, unlike most hotels where they try to give grown adults a curfew. The rooms were very well soundproofed so we couldn't hear anything from the outside or the pool, day or night. We highly recommend this hotel, whether traveling with kids or adults only!

My boyfriend and I just spent a week here to celebrate my 29th birthday. We could not have been more impressed!! We got a great rate and ended up staying an extra night. This is a good place to stay if you want a true "refuge" from the madness of Disneyland. In fact, we barely wanted to leave the hotel after a few days! Where to start? -The room was clean and a little bit more upscale (not outstanding, but nice). Comfy bed. -The pool is beautiful: palm trees, reggae music playing, lots of lounge chairs (the only thing a little annoying is the freeway noise is really loud, but the music sort of drowns it out). Bathrooms at the pool and plenty of little private areas to chill. -There are two bars - one outside near the pool and one inside with a swanky little lounge area. You can bring drinks out to the pool, too, so that's a plus! -HAPPY HOUR!! - This is by far the best part. The food is amazing (shrimp quesadillas, burgers, etc), drinks (wine, margaritas, beer) and everything is 5 bucks. Oh yeah, and they pour GIANT glasses of wine. What's better than that? The food portions are huge, so we would literally order off the happy hour menu for dinner, have a few drinks, and only spend like 40 bucks. It's from 4-7 and again from 10-12 -The food was very reasonably priced and there are lots of options - we ate at the restaurant one night and spent like 30 bucks (with drinks!). -The staff was all friendly in every interaction we had, and the bartender even cut our bill in half cause we tipped him so well the previous few nights. -Live music on Friday night in the bar -The maid left a thank you note with a silly little picture when we left a tip for her (just a friendly touch that kind of makes you smile) -Quick shuttle to Disneyland (although it costs 4 bucks for a roundtrip pass). Overall, you feel like it's a relaxing place to come back to and hang out if you're burnt out on Disneyland. We would come back around noon every day, swim, have a few drinks, and then head ba

It's a relatively cheap hotel within walking distance of Disneyland. The pool and hot tub are really nice and open 24 hours! There is also an outdoor bar by the pool that has a pretty good happy hour. The attached restaurant is nothing fancy, but has good food for pretty cheap. I'd definitely stay again next time I go to Disneyland.

The only issue I had was that the bed frame stuck out and my boyfriend stubbed his toe 3 times. Other then that hotel staff was very hospitable and courteous!! The hotel had perfect view for the Disneyland fireworks. Very luxurious!! Well worth the price:-)

Nice hotel, the bathroom sink backed up one night but was taken care of very quickly. Clean rooms and great maid service. The view of the Disneyland fireworks was awesome! Nice pool Great work out room. I would recomend the hotel to anyone.
