Check in was painless, quick and easy. The customer service rep was friendly and informed me about the 24 hour coffee service. Which was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that I reserved 2Queen sized beds and received 1 & a pull out couch. I was just staying there one night which was fine. Also the same attendant tried to bill me for 2 nights which I quickly brought to her attention and she updated. Check out was a breeze. Overall the hotel was clean and pleasant for the most part.

Although our stay was short (overnight), the hotel was clean and comfortable. The chef/bartender was charismatic and friendly. The overall experience was nice.

Went to Parx Casino and this is the closest hotel. Did not spend much time in hotel but everything was fine and I would stay there again on my next visit to the casino. Hotel is inset off of the main drag and there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

i stayied at the marriott--hoping to get away from all the tensions i have at home--expected the jacuzzi and a nice dinner out for a change--when i got there, told jacuzzi was not working and the restaurant was closed--it was pm SUNDAY night--the room was stale smelling yet it was supposed to be non smoking-the quality of the buffet in the morning was not good the pastries were dry-coffee cold--staff accomodating but not a GREAT BUFFET FOR 10.95

My hotel room smelled like some. My sheets and pillowcases had stains on them and I found a earing in my bed. The people were nice but the room was horrible.

I AM SO UPSET, MY NAME IS MS. BRANDON AND I BOOKED THE ROOMS FOR MY FAMILY, I BOOKED FOUR ROOMS AND ONE OF THE ROOMS THE KEY WOULD NOT WORK INSTEAD OF CHANGING THE ROOM WE HAD TO CALL THE FRONT DESK AND HAVE THEM COME UP TO OPEN IT WHICH TOOK AT LEAST 15MIN TO I/A HOUR EACH TIME. THE LAST NIGHT THEY COULD NOT GET IT OPEN AND WANT MY FAMILY TO MOVE AT ONE AM AND LEVE THE BELONGINGS IN THERE. I HAVE NOT REACH ANYONE IN CORPORATE. THIS IS MY THIRD TRIP TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND NEVER EXPERIENCE ANYTHING LIKE THIS.

I enjoyed my stay and so did my husband and children. The staff was very nice and pleasant. I stayed at this hotel when I took my kids to sesame place (which was a great convenience). I plan to go back again and this will definitely be the hotel I plan on staying again.

IT WAS A GREAT STAY.

we found bone from food under the bed,it must be left from previous stay. the hotel overall is very nice, however the room on top floor we stay is kind of noisy. if we ever stay again, we will request lower floor. the price is reasonable.

Only issues: noise from A/C unit & doors opening/closing. Other than that this hotel is ok and price was very reasonable.

Crib was not available when I got there eventhough I requested one when I made the booking. When they eventually sent a bassinet up it was very dirty so I refused to use it. Also the hotel restaurant w Operated on a very limited schedule.

We LOVED it. If you are planning to go to the racetrack and/or casino it is so convenient. Definitely will go back.

We stayed here after a visit to Sesame Place and before our visit to Philadelphia the next day. Great location -- in between the two places. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. We requested for a crib when we made the reservation and it wasn't there when we checked in, but was sorted soon after. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but was so tired that we ordered room service (Philly cheesesteak sandwich) which was quite nice. There was no fridge in the room, so we had to ask the front desk to freeze our ice pack for us. Had free coffee in the lobby but since breakfast didn't come with our package, we ate at Dunkin Donuts down the street. Overall, had a very pleasant stay.

Stayed one night because we were in town to attend a wedding. Hotel was clean & comfortable. We had breakfast in the dining room & thought for what we had the buffet was a bit pricey. We don't eat huge breakfasts & paid around $17 for a box of cereal each, yogurt, juice & fruit for each of us.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH HOTEL AND SURROUNDING AREA.ROOM WAS CLEAN .BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE. NICE POOL AREA WOULD DEFINETLY STAY AGAIN..

I stayed here based on the rave reviews and, for the life of me, have no idea how this hotel rated so highly. I arrived to an empty lobby. The attendant was watching TV in the restaurant area. It was late and I was tired and requested a quiet area, preferably with no neighbors. He gave me the end of the hall. 5 minutes later a family of 3 with a loud toddler arrived to the room across from me. The room smelled of mold and stale smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. It had a dampness to it. I had work to do so I set my laptop up on the desk. The chair was too small for the height of the desk and I spent the night and part of the morning typing with my arms literally at an upward angle to my laptop. For a hotel chain that caters to and targets business travelers, this oversight is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the wireless is abysmally slow. I had a faster connection using my iPad's 3g service. I used that for the web and did my typing on my laptop. The next morning, after sleeping on a bed that was trying to be memory foam but felt 10x softer (read as squishy) I rolled out of bed and put my feet down on a damp floor. The freezer condensation from the fridge was leaking into the carpet and it was so wet my feet brought water to the surface. The floor in front of the air conditioner felt damp as well. I went to open the window shade and the pull-stick came loose as I was pushing on it. Time to take a shower. That actually went fine until I went to dry myself off, opened my towel, and was greeted by a giant black hair still attached to it. Went down to breakfast, saw the sign that asked that I wait to be seated, and waited for about 3 minutes. I finally walked in and poked my head around the door to the kitchen and asked if I could have a table. Breakfast was edible. At checkout I would have loved to tell someone about all of this but there was, again, no one at the desk. In fact, it was dark. I waited for about 30 seconds and walked out the door.

This hotel was nice enough but not as nice as other courtyards I have stayed in. Seem to be geared towards the Casino that was located to the rear of the property. The lounge was very small & the pool was not open, other than that it was ok.

This is the first time Marriott has been a huge disappointment. This Marriott is in desperate need of a hotel makeover. The carpet is stained and looks dirty. The drapes had tears and very, very thin. Mold around the windows and seal, A/C old and noisy, hair hanging off the lamp shade, in tub, around windows. It was just plain gross.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay. We just wanted a nice place to stay near Philadelphia city center, and this hit the spot. Clean and the staff is friendly.

I've stayed here before with no problems. This stay was terrible. Heater would run for approx. 1 min 10 sec. and then turn off for exactly 7 seconds, then run for 1 min, off for 7 seconds. Over and over non-stop all night. Did not matter what setting. Nothing more than poor maintenance.

My stay here was wonderful. Location was excellent. Near Parx Casino and on Street Road where there are many places to eat and dine. The staff there was excellent. Would come back again.

The hotel was as it always is. Great on every level. The only issue I had was at check out. Because I booked through hotels . Com the person at the desk could not print out my receipt which irritated me. But all else was great as always.0

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom, while picked-up and neat, left a lot to be desired (leaky faucet, rust, missing caulking in shower). Air conditioner was a little noisy, but didn't keep me awake. I left unimpressed. Probably won't stay here again.

Very nice and clean hotel. All hotel personnel were pleasant and friendly. Centrally located to everywhere I needed to get to. I especially loved the comfort of the beds...they were a pleasant welcome after a full day out and about!

My overnight stay there was very delightful. Had absolutely no problems. The staff was all very courteous and they greeted us as we came and went. Folks forget sometimes how just a hello how are you with a smile can go a long ways, just being polite. We were there to check out the new casino, which is a 2 minute drive away or as the front desk clerk called it "a Las Vegas walk." I loved that! And, even the couple treats on the counter were very nice and thoughtful. I always have a better than average stay at the Marriott hotels.

Very clean hotel and comfortable

The employees at the front desk were friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet for about $10 was fantastic. It is less than 15 minutes from Sesame Place, and there are several restaurants and a grocery store within a few minutes of the restaurant. I would definitely stay there again.

pool was nice, room nice, neighborhood decent. food expensive, and they did not grant us our "kids eat free" that we got through booking on hotels.com overall, good stay.

We stayed for a wedding. The staff was very helpful. Especially Donna at the bar who helped us order food late at night. The room was clean and comfortable.
