It Was Great.

It was very comfortable. The only problem was the microwave had food in it but we told the maid & she took care of it right away. We had plenty of hot water while some of the others didn't have any hot water. The staff was very friendly & nice. They took care of the customer's needs. They were also busy especially during breakfast. The location was perfect within walking distance to all of the downtown attractions. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay there, but a few things were out dated and a little run down. Mainly the bathroom. But other than that my self and family enjoyed our stay. We come up at least twice a year. When we do come back we will probably stay there again. Thank you, Snolen

Stay was great. The extra Hotel fee was a bit of a shock. The extra 32.00 for 2 nights puts the price up there with nicer hotels. The Breakfast was great.

ONLY THING HOT WATER SUCKED AS in an in a out kinda shower thing b4 u froze and no relaxing hot bubble bath it wasnt very romantic when water was barely warm, but the sink water got hot

Additional resort fee, $15 plus taxes, payable at the hotel. Breakfast is included. Staff were excellent, professional and friendly. Good location. All in all, a very enjoyable stay, thank you.

Completely unaware of " resort fee". Don’t appreciate deception.

The hotel was fine. The room a little tight but clean. Breakfast was very good. Only complaint was getting slapped with the extra fees when we checked in. Also the indoor pool is in a seperate building which makes it a bit inconvenient when the weather is cool.

Nice hotel in Gatlinburg, but average hotel anywhere else. Room was clean and comfortable, but you can tell that it was upgraded on the cheap. A few things to be aware of before making your reservation. You will be charged a resort fee roughtly equal to the discount of the room that basically covers stuff that normally comes with a standard room. Had we known about the check in fee, we would have booked elsewhere. The breakfast line is understaffed and seating area limited, but decent food. I would consider other options in Gatlinburg before I come back here again.

This was a good hotel in a great location. All of the people working at the hotel were friendly and the room was comfortable with a small balcony. Only complaint was the very strong chemical odor in the elevators and in the lobby - I was glad it was clean but the strong odor was unnatural and made me wonder what kind of other odor they might be trying to cover up! Compared to the other hotels on the 'strip' in Gatlinburg, however, this one looked like one of the nicer ones and we were glad that we had picked it.

I love the location of this hotel. It is right downtown from all of the restaurants & shops. The parking is good. They have a pool & hot tub in the back of the hotel. It is separate from the hotel. The pool & hot tub has a slow leak it them & so maintenance crews have to come out & fill it up with water ever so often. I was hoping that they would of had this fixed by now. My husband & I have stayed here many of times before. They did add new furniture around the pool area. The breakfast is included with your stay. It is a hot breakfast with lots to choose from. I have noticed that a lot of families attending weddings & events stay here quite often. I would definitely stay here again.

This is upscale for Gatlinburg. The location at the South end of the strip is conducive to quiet. Room clean and comfortable. Service very good. Above average breakfast and free parking included.

The staff was very unfriendly. They also charged a resort fee and really could not explain what that fee was for.

We already knew we were going to pay more for a nice hotel in Gatlinburg, but we were not told about an additional "resort fee" upon check in. That made the cost over-priced in our view. It's a very nice property with great amenities, but we would not pay that price again. Complimentary breakfast was nice, but extremely crowded area.

hotel is old needs to be remodeled./they charged us $15. dollars a day for the " free breakfast" . The website says nothing about this

At check in we were informed there was a $32.99 "RESORT FEE" for our 2 nights stay. After reviewing the Hotels.com print out which at the top said paid in full - there was fine print at the bottom that said there may be a $10 per day added fee. Hotel and location were great but I hate surprises - never happened before with Hotels.com

Stayed one night at the Clarion in Gatlinburg and it was a nice hotel. Room clean but a little small. Not much of a view from the balcany. The breakfast was great with real omlettes served to order. Biscuits and gravy and blueberry waffles! One complaint with hotel.com. Their website states there was a $10 resort fee. When we checked in the Clarion said it was a $15 fee plus tax which we had to pay. hotel.com needs to update their information.

We love this hotel. This was our second trip to Gatlinburg in a month. Our second stay here as well. The location is out of the "touristy" area and near all our favorite activities. The breakfast is phenominal. We will go again soon.

the room was very small, no extra pillows or blanket. the room was not well kept up not very clean and i had to pay an extra charge on check in after I paid in full for the room on line. I was not impressed

We really enjoyed it. Nice room and great breakfast. The only inconvenience was no laundry available.

Was in walking distance to all the Gatlinburg attractions plus there are trolleys that go to the other close cities if you want to enjoy those attractions too. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean but the pillows were not comfortable to me but I like a harder one and these were not that hard. Hotel was a great one and especially the price. Would definately stay here again.

I was very please with my stay. I liked the location of the hotel (out of the hustle and bustle of the strip) but close enough to enjoy the strip when we wanted.

Location is perfect for walking to area attractions. The kitchen staff working during breakfast was extremely pleasant. Was somewhat surprised to to be charged an additional amount at check-in for 24/7 coffee bar.

everything was awesome but the road construction out front was a bummer but I suppose necessary, highly recommend hotel. Hot breakfast was again awesome and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a great time. We'd been gone and Gatlinburg was our half-way-decompress spot on the way home. We'd had some bad experiences in Gatlinburg before I studied hotels.com. This time, I read reviews, knew what I didn't want and chose Clarion for it's being away from the mob at the end of the street and my personal preference of a duvet instead of a bedspread. A surprise was nearby Howard's Restaurant. We went no further and had a lovely time. The complimentary breakfast at Clarion was out of this world. Homemade omlets, eggs, grits, bagels, too much to mention. We will definitely do the Clarion again.

We loved the location of the hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The pool could have used some cleaning out due to leaves blowing in but overall was nice & warm. The hot tub needed a lot of maintenance in which one of the maintenance guys did an excellent job of watching the water level. He had notified us that there was a small leak & that a plumber was scheduled to come by next week to take a look at it. He was well aware of the situation & did something about it to keep the customers happy. We were glad that it wasn't left alone & nothing done about it. The breakfast was excellent as usual. We would definitely stay here again.

The fitness center was not functioning. Poor quality. Was not told about the resort fee until I checked out.

The hotel was in very good shape with plenty of parking behind the hotel (fairly protected). Breakfast was greater with omelets and eggs made to order and lots of other options. Room was nice - we had a small balcony on the back side of the hotel. We were almost directly across from Ober Gatlinburg which was great.. and plenty of places to walk to. The only time we used our car was to go to Pigeon Forge (and we could have taken the trolley if we wanted to). The only 'problem' was that there was construction on the road in front of the hotel which made for a bit more traffic congestion in front - but we didn't hear anything. There was a fridge and microwave in the room and we used both. We also took advantage of the free wi-fi! (it was a little slow, but loved it was free). All-in-all we were very pleased! Highly recommend! (Oh, the kids also loved the heated (covered) pool that came in handy when we got some afternoon rain)

Wonderful Hotel right on the main road. 2 things tho. 1 - The indoor pool is not connected to the hotel, little inconvenient depending on weather but it did have a changing room and 2 - they hit you up with a $10 resort fee upon check in. Any way to make an extra buck I guess.

Nice two room suite with a view of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is at the end of the Parkway strip so things were quiet. The only down side was all the construction effecting the sidewalk for about two blocks.

Wonderful place to stay no problems

the hotel was in the process of redoing the rooms but you couldn't tell it. It was quiet and the staff was very polite. Would stay there again.
