Everything was fine except the room wasn't fully cleaned (shavings on the sink and counter) and they didn't replace soap each day. Other than that fully satisfied. The beds were soft, which can be a rarity in hotel beds, that was nice. The breakfast was basic but enjoyable.

The outside looked nice, and the staff was really nice; the room, on the other hand was not. The toilet broke three times, the temp in the shower kept changing from very hot to very cold. The room wasn't very soundproof; you could hear every sound outside as if it was in the room with you. Very difficult to sleep through.

this hotel that we stated at was in Gainesville Ga. It was not clean. We called to ask if they had a microwave in room and we were told yes. When we got there it had no microwave and we had to call the office. The one that they brought up was without feet and not very clean. We had to ask for a working telephone. We had big time problems with the toilet and the sink leaked. We had to be there from Feb. 16-the 18th. We paid in advance could not get our money back. Will NOT stay there again.

Water was yellow when we first arrived. Supposedly some maintenance had been done. Flushed for a while by staff to clear up. Furniture was old and discolored but clean and adequate. Bed was very firm. Room smelled like chemicals used to clean up. Many rooms rented to traveling constuction crews with diesel trucks which tended to start up at 5:30 in the morning. Overall, room was adequate but not in the good or great catagory.

Good price for the condition or hotel and room. Tv is outdated with only 20-25 channels. Breakfast is below standard and coffee is aweful. Better off going to McD's in the morning. I had trouble sleeping - lot of noise from pipes and air conditioning unit.

I was very impressed on how well the rooms were cleaned. I will recommend this hotel to my friends, and if I need to be out of town again, I will go back there!!

This was a very clean motel. I call it a motel because I could park outside my room door. Nothing fancy here but room smelled clean and good service.

Good facility, friendly staff, typical old style roadside inn. Works well for our visits to Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville, GA where our son is a resident student. Good value, don't need to spend $100 for one of the local hotels with all the bells and whistles, just a good, clean place to sleep!

Clean hotel. Got a good nights rest after spending a day at Lake Lanier.

The Guesthouse Inn and Suites had a really good major and staff. I missed the complimentary breakfast due to a late night at work night but they still gave a bagel and 2 danishes. The location was also close to a 24 hour CVS which was great too. The only issue was the surrounding neighborhood which is not a place to walk around at night time but it is fine during the day.

The staff was very polite and helpful. The pool was well taken care of. Bisquits and gravy at breakfast could use a little help. A stones throw from McDonalds and a short car ride to the Red Lobster. Convenience stores a short distance in either direction. The price was right for a weeks stay!

I came here for a weekend getaway as park of going to Lake Lanier, Tanger Outlet, and Dahlonega. I enjoyed the stay very much. The hotel was very clean and the guy at the front, Don, is very sweet. They have hot breakfast items (waffles) and regular pasteries which were tasty. I would stay there again. The pool could use a little cleaning, but it was decent. I only saw one dead bug (a cricket) upon entering the hotel, which was a good sign. For the price, this place is awesome.

When I began to fill the bath tub up with water it came out a dark yellow. I complained and they told me that the city had worked on the lines and that it should clear up. However it continued to do the same thing the next two nights. Even in another room and they offered no other compensation. I would never stay there again. It is worth paying more to stay somewhere nicer, cleaner and kept up better.

An economic, clean, and comfortable hotel. We stayed one nigh and enjoyed our experience.

the hotel was great. but it has a party room. the hotel was not fully booked and we were placed in a room right above the party room on a saturday night. the music went on until 11:30 or so and the room shook with the bass sound of the music. I ended up with a headache. we called the front desk on three occasions and were told the music would stop at 9:00 PM. it did not. we were not offered another room away from the music. If they knew of the party why put several guests above the party room. we are in our 70's and we don't dislike music but when we're on the road traveling we like a quiet room. i would use the motel again but i would sure check out if a party was booked for the night i was going to use it.

Very bad experience. Our reserved room was not available so we settled for less, room door did not close properly, bathroom door did not work at all, carpet in room was so dirty we were afraid to walk barefoot. Room keys only worked half of the time.

the most expensive motel on our trip, but it was fine. always like the mini fridge and microwave. breakfast had biscuits and sausage gravy, which was good, but we had to improvise because the pot heating the gravy took too long to get hot, so we used the microwave. this worked out o.k.

I was appalled to have housekeeping knocking on my door at 9:15 on the morning of my stay. That is absurd. Surely they have the means to print out for housekeeping which rooms have already been vacated! Who would think that they would have to put a do not disturb notice up in order to not be disturbed at that time.

My room was listed as non smoking but clearly had been smoked in a lot. Carpet was old and worn, everything was a bit dated. Would have liked for the bathroom to have been a bit cleaner. Front desk person was very pleasant but I had a very loud knocking on the door around 8:15 AM by someone trying to collect dirty towels. I thought someone was breaking in on me he was banging so hard, and then tried to come in anyway when I didn't answer. I'm sure that was probably just a fluke thing though and I think I scared him enough that he won't do that again. Not a terrible place for the money but I will probably try someplace else next time.

the hotel is really well maintained, very clean...the staff was nice and very helpful. we were attending a reception and needed a a place to stay for night cause we dindnt feel like driving 3 hours back home. it was everythign we expected. the breakfast was real good...i am a big eater in morning and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. props to you guys. keep up the good work!

The Days Inn Gainesville, GA was perfect for what I needed. A hotel close to where I needed to be in the morning, clean, and reasonably priced. If I travel to Gainesville, GA, I won't hesitate to stay again.

We were to have a microwave & frig in the room, but there was neither so when I called to request a room with them in it they had the maintenance man bring both items to our room within 30 min's... It's a very clean & friendly place, & it's close to town... They also have several resturants that deliver to your room if you don't want to go out... And the best thing of all was that they allowed me to bring my small dog with. I highly recommend this place for a quick stay.. We will come back again if ever in the area again...

First of all, when I walked in the lobby, I was really impressed with how well decorated and welcoming it was. I was greeted by a really friendly front desk person. Once we got into our room, I inspected everything (I'm really picky about where I sleep). It passed my inspection... Everything was as I expected it to be. We slept like logs and in the morning I went down to breakfast. They had sausage and gravy biscuits, which I wanted to try in Georgia. I always thought that hotels served pastries and coffee. I was surprised. Overall, my stay was extremely satisfying. I feel that most people give reviews only when they are unhappy, so I thought I would give this place two thumbs up! Thanks, guys, for making my stay so enjoyable!

My wife and I went to checkin about five to six minutes before 5;00 PM. They were peoples in the lobby waiting for there rooms tobe cleaned, so when I got to the desk to checkin she call someone and then told me it would be about fifteen to twenty minutes before the room would be ready. After thirty minutes I went back to the desk and asked she call someone again and she said go on around to room 128 that they would be through in a little bit to go ahead and carry our thing in side. We went around to the room. they was a young girl look tobe 10 or 12 years old cleaning. the beds were not made they were screws, bolts and nuts on the floor around the table. By that time some older lady came in and said we could not bring anythng in until they got through with the cleaning, by this time we had seen to much we went back to the office to check out and the lady at the desk asked if we would take a room with one bed it had been clean,we agreed

The pool sure did look nice but it was never vaccummed the whole weekend that we stayed... the air was awful the rooms never seem to get cool... we actually moved rooms!

They had to move us to another room because the air conditioner leaked all over the floor and I went to get into the shower and the shower head was broken and sprayed water all over the ceiling and onto the floor.
