My biggest complaint is their room cleanliness. I was so sock to see brown stains when I pull up the toilet seat cover! And so called 'roman tub'? It's nasty. When you fill up the water, you see 'something-something' floating above water. And guess what? Tub water don't drain!!? My overall experience with their room is horrible. However, I am pleased with their Gym,Spa and Pool. They are clean.

Need to improve ventilation on floors. I requested non smoking but upon arrival on my floor the entire hallway smelled of marijuana smoke which was flowing out of one the rooms.

Everything was excellent except the food at restuarant inside the casino

The room was great as well as the in-room jacuzzi. The food at Cafe Del Soul was truly excellent. My only complaint was that the buffet was the absolute worst food I've ever had! It was worse than cafeteria or dorm food.

I would hate to know the kinds of fluids that were on my bed and all over the room. The sheets were disgusting and we had to have them changed on both beds because they had blood stains and god knows what else. After they changed our sheets, they had to be changed again becaue the new ones were gross too. This place is low quality. I stayed there once before and was disgusted. I don't know why I went back a year later, but I will never go there again. Bring antibiotics if you go.

Great family time.

Not good. You'd be better off in a cabin. Trust me.

My stay was as I had expected it. It's a South Tahoe Casino so I knew what I was getting. Just enough to be back if I ever want to stay in Tahoe w a few homies to board and gamble- but not enough to bring me back solely for either. For the fam's I'd get a sweeter smelling room at a place with an indoor pool in the winter or by the water in the summer. BUT THAT'S THE BEAUTY OF TAHOE. NO MATTER THE ENTHUSIAST, YOU'LL FIND WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR AND A PLACE THAT WILL SUIT YOU COMFORTABLY TO SLEEP.

It is good place if you are group with no kids out there for skying and gambling. I would not recommend this palce for family. They advertise that they have an Arcade, what they have few games what you see in some of the malls. If the people who walk through the corridor talk a little louder, you cannot sleep in the room. To make it worse we had some group near our room who like to have most of their fun at 2 in the night.

You should know by now what you'll get when you book at a Casino joint at South Tahoe. Some grunge here, a slight stench there but nothing overt. I choose a place such as this over Joe Shmoe's Motel down the street for $20 less so I know I'll have someone to complain to if a problem arises or for the peace of mind knowing that I won't get home and find crazy charges or shady dealings. Beside all that, it's conveniently located and the staff and space overall is nice. Not grand or pristine or fabulous... but nice enough. I'll be visiting again. Sign up for a players card for free ish!

I have stayed at the Mont Bleu a number of times and each time it seems it gets better and better. Overall upgrades and cleanliness of hotel and rooms is noticeable. Plus, their gym is very good and free internet as well. Restaurants have improved as well. Rooms are very comfortable with excellent views. The prices are very competitive. I will stay there again.

Years ago when I stayed at Hotel that the MontBleu in Resort Lake Tahoe is located in I was in Awe. Beautiful, a Great Resort, Clean, Comfortable and a sight to see, even if you were not a guest there. HOWEVER times have changed. My first glance was not pleasant. The smell of cigarette smoke from the casino greets you in the lobby. My problems are not with the staff, however it seems the hotel is being run down to the ground. Fixtures are old and out of date and wall paper is out of date. Rooms can be cleaner. It seems to me that management is letting this Hotel Run itself into the ground. I would recommend this hotel to Hotels.com users only if the prices of other places you want to visit are booked or you want a good deal. I would not recommend to families of small children. The stores located right next the elevators are not the best thing you want your young children to see. Do not pay more than the going rates. At least you do not have to pay for parking however there is a Resort fee of $2.50 per night that I was not aware of.

The hotel showed some wear and tear, but the rooms were very clean. Perfect after a day on the slopes.

The room had a hot tub which was dirty and did not drain when we tried to clean it. Maintenance came in and fixed the drain used it once and it did not drain again. The hotel was not accommodating at all since I did not book the room through them. Overall it was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

Montbleu is the old Caesar Hotel. It's right next to Harrah's and across Horizon and Harveys. It's about 3 blocks away from Heavenly Village. The room is spacious but old. The bathroom has no doors so it might be awkward if you have adults and teenagers sharing the room with you. I would stay there again because the price is right and the room is nice but just a little outdated. The hotel has indoor parking and outdoor parking. It has a very nice swimming pool for the little kids to swim in. My only complaints is they are a little skimpy when it comes to the amenities. Unless you call Front Desk for shampoo, conditioner, etc... they will not replace it every morning. Also, they only provide 3 set of towels when they know we have 4 people staying in the room. There is a $2.25 resort fee per day. Overall, It's really a bargain staying there if you compare to other places.

The room was incredible, had a good view (but saw mostly parking lot). Loved the non-smoking floor it was great. Bathroom in room wa my favorite. Did not like the small toilet though but the beds made up for it. Overall nice place to stay. Everyone is extremely nice, specially the cleaning ladies.

Rooms were very noisy, the doors slammed shut. Our room needed updated maintainence.

Had enjoyable stay at Montbleu Resort and Casino. Accommodations were very good. Hotel Ciera restaurant was four star and excellent.

Hotel was great. Would stay again without hesitation. Staff were very helpful. Pool could have been better but again staff were great. Good value for money.

The rooms are the old Caesar's Palace (Mont Bleu is formally Caesar's Palace) rooms and have not been updated at all! The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable a left there with aches and pains all over. The walls are also paper thin, so you can hear EVERYTHING throughout the night. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Everything looks old and cheap

The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. The service all around was great. I would stay again.

The front desk at the time of check-in was a bit aggressive. The lady did NOT seem happy with her job and essentially took her anger out on the customer(me). Other than that, my stay at the MontBleu was great!

Great competeitive place to stay Sunday thru mid week

I expected way less than what I got. The biggest feature I'd like to point out was that I could actually adjust the temperature in the room. Other hotels I stayed at in the area have been too hot, but I could turn the AC on and it worked. Room was very clean and spacious. I didn't discover the pool area until the last day, but would've spent more time there after hitting the slopes if I had known about it. It has rock formations and waterfalls. They provide towels, too. Shuttles to Heavenly and Sierra at Tahoe picked up at the hotel.

Overall the stay was nice. They had a great indoor pool for the kids and an arcade. The casino was never crowded and the restaurants were good. Didn't get a chance to see any of the entertainment. We went to Tahoe for the ski resorts. The only complaint we had was the room next to ours had a smoker in it, the door that connected the two rooms just let the smoke filter into our room. Unfortunately this started the last night of our stay and after the kids crashed out. MontBleu was "nice" enough to refund $6 out of our stay.
