Days Inn O'Fallon - أوفالون

Was completely satisfied with service of staff, however the hotel itself was dated. Lights in parking lot did not work. Room was a hodpodge of different decor. Just was not a great location either. I probably won't stay there again:-(

We always like to skimp on the price of hotel rooms, and our basic requirements are simple - a clean room, shower, and bathroom. We were fairly satisfied, but the hotel seemed to skimp on routine maintenance. The safety latch on the door was broken, and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. Other than that, we had no complaints. Everything was clean, the price was right, the neighborhood was decent, and there was a free continental breakfast.

If u r a men's softball team or maybe even a high school boys sports team, u'll survive it. If u got females of any sort, skip the place. Crazy staff, stained sheets, broken shower knobs, toilets flushing slowly.

Even though we had a pet, our room should have met basic standards and should have been in working order. The carpets were very stained, looked like Kool-Aid hopefully. The tub didn't work, but the shower did. There was a crazy lady running up and down the hallway screaming about "I'm going to get there, no matter what it takes. I'm going to find a ride from someone." Talking loudly on the phone for everyone in the hotel to hear her conversation. They didn't plow their parking lot after a foot of snow fell until hours after everyone else did theirs. We didn't leave the room after the street lights came on because we felt uneasy and everyone seemed a little seedy, like the hotel. There was a random guy on the lobby public computer listening to music and dancing at all hours. The only good thing, was free Wi-Fi. Otherwise I don't recommend this place...EVER!

I was disappointed with my room. As soon as I checked into the room the door handle broke off then I was transferred to another room that was worst than the first one. Room number 2 was not clean and I waited over 45 minutes and the room still didn't warm up so I asked to be transferred back to room number 1. It was a bit cleaner but it could have been a much better stay.

I felt like because we had our pet, we were given the worst room. It smelled like a dog had recently left. Very dirty. Did not want to be there but because we were there for a funeral and did not know the area, had no choice. Manager was not at desk on check in. (We did not check in until early evening. )

The overall room itself was ok except for soiled curtains, outdated tv, microwave, & fridge. Lets just say for the amount that I paid, it was worth it and not a penny more.

Room was pretty clean, bathroom was dirty along with coffee pot.

everything was ok except we coluldn't use excise Room Because someone in there with door bar on sow noone can it in....

We enjoyed it very much.

The outside light was not lit and the hotel sat "backwards" so we had no clue it was even there. The lady at the counter was friendly but had company as she sat in the lobby and chatted. The room wasn't very clean and the air was horrible. As soon as we walked in our room it smelled of weed. They didn't even have the air on for us.

My room was very comfortable. I paid for a one queen and they gave me a 2 queen room because the people who previously stayed in my room had smoked and I asked for non smoking. They are very nice.

I liked having a safe, microwave, and fridge in the room. Location was also convenient. The only problem was a bad smell on the minifridge. I think some earlier guests had stuck dirty diapers in the fridge, judging by the smell.

We were happy with the staff of the hotel, but the rooms were far from clean. I will not choose Days Inn unless we there are no other options in the future.

Hotel smelled bad, service was poor took 10 minutes to get anyone to the front desk, review said they had pool it did not

The rooms could have been cleaner but the front deck workers were very helpful.

Staff attended to loud noises in room next door immediately. Would stay there again.

No parking - grimy, disgusting - hole in wall

Friendly reception and easy check in and out.

had stayed here 3years ago, and it definatly has gone down hill since. Advertised that it had indoor pool, only to find out it had been filled in and made into conference room. Wallpaper was peeling in room and bathroom, had no light bulb in one lamp. Had requested queen room with sofabed, got 2queen room instead, requested extra towels upon arrival, did not receive them and had to wait til next morning to get them. Breakfast was very scarce: choice of cereal, muffins, or waffles. A/C unit in room wouldn't stay running, had to bring in fan to help keep at comfortable temp. Had flat sheets as bottom sheets and they continually slid up. Won't stay there again.

We have stayed at this location many times. This time I think was the last. Noticed a lot more disrepair, some mold in our bathroom and the pool is gone. The price is good but it just felt kind of dirty this time.

It sucked. I had my reservation for over 2 weeks. We get there and are told not all rooms have microwaves & fridges even though website says they do. CONCRETE has been poored over the swimming pool and spa as they are making a banquet room out of it. That means this has been going on for some time and YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS! I am very disappointed in you. We would have left, but would have been charged for 1 night anyway.

This hotel surpassed my expectations. I have had a bad experience with a Days Inn which was in a different city and this hotel shocked me. I was very surprised with the room and cleanliness. It was a last minute trip and this was the only hotel available and I was very pleased. My children were also surprised as we have had a couple of bad experiences with last minute hotel stays. Very nice staff and breakfast in the morning was even nice. I was very happy with this stay.

We spent the night at this hotel. The hotel was under some improvements, so there was construction just off the lobby. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The breakfast was somewhat limited but comparable to other hotels we have stayed at.

nice establishment and affordable

As I have written many times about this motel, very inexpensive and very cordial people working at the desk.

The room was dusty and smelled musty. The pool was closed down which was not specified at time of booking. The exercise room had no working machines. The hotel staff was nice and courteous.

It was dirty and the beds were uncomfortable loud also

Positives - prepaid price was reasonable, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. Need Improvements - Common areas had dirty, sticky floors, room carpet was not vaccumed, and lobby area looked uninviting.

This hotel is filthy. Stay at your own risk.

Overall the hotel was satisfactory, but there were two serious issues. When I arrived I used the main floor restroom and it was gross. Someone had left a mess in the toilet. I would think regular visits to hotel facilities by staff would eleminate such issues. Also there was some black mold in the shower and the safety lock on the door was missing and had been crudely repared. As a plus, the mattresses were very comfortable.

When we entered the lobby it was very dark, not well lit & stood waiting to check in for several minutes before the front desk staff acknowledged us ( no one was in line before us). Lobby smelled bad & the hallways had many lights out making them fairly dark as well. Our room was clean a couple lamps didnt work but the air conditioner coudnt keep up & we were quite warm throughout the room

First of all the room smelled as if it was just removed as a non smoking room. Next there was the 3:00 AM loud argument involving people staying at the hotel going on somewhere on the floor. It left me awake thinking where my wife and I could hide if gun fire started. Not real great experience and we won't stay there again.

We have been staying at this hotel for the past 3 years around August. we have family there and we like doing things in St Louis.

1. I bought bed bug spray to use on the bed. I felt like I had mites/bugs crawling on me all day. 2. Some other customers were of questionable nature that hung out in the lobby. 3. The desk clerks were very unattentive to what was going on around them in the lobby.

Very strange people sitting in the lobby almost all of the time. Very uncomfortable for the guests coming and going. Not sure if they work there or why they were there. One guy looked like a drug addict and was either sitting on the couch or at the computer every single time we entered or left. He would give us a cold stare and watch every step we made. One older, Indian guy just sat there, nodded his head and stared. No automatic door opener. The lobby and hallways very hot/humid.
