The Hotel is great overall. Sometimes I founf the staff at the front desk , while always polite, were nt as well-informed as I would expect. Also, I founf the linens in the bathroom to be skimpy..had to keep on asking for fresh towels, etc. The bathroom had old plumbing, but was clean and suffeiced. Terrific location very close to Goucester Road tube station. Check out the Green Door pub down the street..great food, service and prices.

Very good hotel in a great location near the underground station. We needed a room with three beds and what we received suited us very well. Some of the finishes (e.g., wallpaper, carpet) were not in the best shape, but their condition was acceptable and the price was good.

the hotel is very nice. it has nice location, breakfast, comfortable room and quality service. the only problem is a little high price. But definitely highly recommand!

Room was like a country house hotel only in central London, great stay ,reccomend thouroghly

We have been staying each year at this hotel since 2004. It fulfils all our needs of comfort, service and location . Rooms are a good size, and comfortably furnished. We have tried many London hotels in this and higher price brackets, but find this hotel to provide the best value for money for our needs.

The location could not be better, a block from the underground and close to nice restaurants and important museums. The biggest drawback was the lack of free wifi -- and though it was available in the lobby, a very weak signal. Starbucks across the street had a better signal. Not good for a hotel that caters to business travelers, or anybody else in the modern era. Breakfast was super expensive, but no more so than at other hotels in London. Though it was getting to be warm in March, the air conditioning was off, which meant opening the windows to the noisy street to make the rooms even slightly bearable. The showers were extremely narrow and lacked rubber safety maps -- probably dangerous for some people with arthritis issues. Still, it was a pleasant place to be. We might return if we couldn't find a suitable place nearby. And we assume they can't let the wifi problem go on forever.

Generously sized rooms (more like American standards than most European hotels), very helpful staff, rooms decorated very nicely; only inconvenience was lack of free wi-fi. Neighborhood is very safe and lovely with lots of dining options as well as Tube connection within a block walk. Would definitely stay there again.

I travel quite frequently and have never experienced service as at the NH Harrington! Outstanding! I will return next year without question. The beds were not comfortable at all, and room was small for our three adult travelers, but everything else made up for it. Terrific and can't wait to return!

So very close to an underground stop, and surrounded by restaurants - this is a great place to stay on a budget.

2 streets away from Gloucester Road Tube station plus in a good neighbourhood, if you do not intend to spend long hours in the room, choose this hotel. If you do, the interior decor would seem a bit dated. With a tesco express, a Paul's and a mid-sized waitrose in the vicinity, a good hotel all-in-all. Recommend.

Great hotel. Well placed - close to 3 tube lines, very accessible to museums, theaters, and restaurant - hop on the tube and in several minutes u r where it counts in London. also neighborhood of the hotel is very practical. The Forum cafe for breakfast, near by, the 2 pubs for a pint, and Whaitrose for shopping if needed. Nice and friendly and very helpful staff. Will stay here again in the future, given the opportunity.

The staff was wonderful, from the front desk, concierge to the restaurant staff. All wonderful and treated us VERY well!! Highly recommend!!

excellent location and service. Only draw back was the condition of our triple room. Not quite up to the standard in the lobby.Heating/cooling system not user friendly nor was the shower. Difficult to turn off and drippedheavily all night!!

Hotel was a very short walk from the Piccadilly train line which made it very easy to get around London. The Piccadilly line goes to Heathrow as well as the St Pancras train station where you catch the chunnel trains. Our room was quite large, sized like a normal US hotel! Bed was a touch uncomfortable but certainly not bad. Wi-fi available at an addl price however you get 1/2 hour free in the lobby. The internet service was slow though. Surrounding neighborhood was very safe with a number of restaurants and a great coffee shop very close by. The staff went out of their way to be friendly, I think our room was an upgrade. We were able to store our luggage on the last day prior to our departure as well. The hotel has an "authentic" english feel, older on the outside, some character on the inside, not a modern re-hab. We were very happy with our choice and would certainly use this hotel again.

Hotel was in a lovely, quiet area, perfect for a relaxing break. Plenty of museums within walking distance, as well as some great shops. Tube and bus connections were very convienent too. Staff were polite and helpful while room was spotless, if a little cosy being on the top floor.

Best compliment is that we would return having found this hotel to more than meet our needs. Staff were very helpful, room, for London, a good size in a great location. The Underground was a short walk away with lots of neat eating places enroute. After a full day of sightseeing our quiet room was renewing and appreciated.

I stayed here for 4 nights because i had to work in London. I was given a room at the front of the hotel and possibly had one of the worst nights sleep i have every had. it was incredibly noisey. I immediately asked to be moved but was told the hotel was full, however i was moved the following night (back of hotel). The rooms are very spacious, a little dated but quite comfortable. it is about 5 minutes away from Glouvester Road, and there are lots of good restaurants in the area. All in all, good quality hotel,friendly staff, good location.

this was my second time staying here. first time i thought it was pretty good, this time i was more impressed. the location is the main thing. minutes from gloucester rd tube station which is on blue, green and yellow lines. makes it so convenient for getting wherever you need to and is especially convenient if you're coming from/going to Heathrow as the blue line connects you directly. takes about 40 minutes. secondly, the area is very good with lots of choice for eating out. forum cafe is very good for breakfast, restaurants for dinner, pub for a drink, a tesco express for any basic needs. the hotel rooms are very spacious which is a rare thing these days. bathroom also is spacious and clean. only one pillow on the beds was a bit strange so housekeeping gave us extra when we requested them. check in desk was much improved on my last visit. the staff communicated better. last time i felt the service at the desk was lacking and the staff had poor english. it looks like this has been improved and we were treated very well. the hotel seems to be used by air crew a lot so if it's good enough for them.... overall i give this the thumbs up, and felt i got good value. great location, great room, very comfortable. you will be on the go a lot if visiting London for a few days so it's nice to have a comfortable place to go back to. I couldn't fault it.

Excellent hotel in a woderful neighborhood, Ferrari's Bentleys and Rolyce Royce cars are all over this neighborhood. 1 block to the train station that connects to everywhere. 1 block to multiple high restaurants, pubs, grocery store that is 24 hrs and a Burger King/starbucks. Hotel is highly recomended from us and we will be going back soon.

We were attending an expo in Kensington. This hotel was perfectly located and it was impressively clean and comfortable - the value was outstanding.

Harrington Hall is one of those places with a lovely combination of the old and the new. From a swanky foyer/lounge/ bar area , I was directed to a very spacious "olde worlde" style room, high ceiling, beautiful furniture , but with every modern facility you might need. I would happily have stayed here for the duration of my visit to london, were it not for my unfortunate need for the occasional nicotine "fix". Seeing my plight, a very efficent duty manager, Tanja swung into action, and promptly arranged to have me transferred to nearby sister hotel, "NH KENSINGTON" .A more modern, but equally comfortable, well-run hotel. All said, a most enjoyable stay, and I would recommend either hotel to visitors looking for value for money, good service, hospitality, and comfort. I certainly look forward to a return visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and would definitely book another stay if/when we return to London. The hotel is only two to three blocks from the Gloucester tube stop (Picadilly line), which makes it very easy to get anywhere in town as well as to/from Heathrow. Even though the hotel is in the middle of a bustling area I found it to be very quiet (we were on the top floor). The staff was very friendly and the room was a good size (especially for London standards). There were two of us staying in the room and we had plenty of room to relax, store clothing and bags, and we could both get ready in the well appointed bathroom at the same time. My only complaint would be about the extremely hard bed, but the pros well outweigh the one negative. We stayed for four nights and would definitely recommend this place for an extended stay.

I've stayed here a couple of times and have no serious complaints. The room sizes varied considerably but both were large by London standards. My room was clean, comfy and had a flat screen TV plus all the other amenities you'd expect from a 4-star facility. The NH Harrington Hall is around the corner from Gloucester Road underground station, so access to Heathrow is easy and cheap. The surrounding neighbourhood has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops from cheap to forget-about-it. The only problem I see is that the online prices seem to vary by hundreds of dollars depending on when you check. If you're thinking of staying here, be patient and wait for a good deal. In accordance with this website's wishes, I won't say what I paid, but it was less than some truly awful dives in the same area. If you can score a god deal (thank you, hotels.com) then by all means park your bags here and enjoy London.

Convenient to Gloucester tube stop in the South Ken area. very easy location to get places and very nice area to be in-- Lots of cafe shops, pubs and small restaurants. The rooms are plenty big- staff very friendly-- The beds are firm, the pillows good. Although the heat was on too high we opened the window and it solved the problem. I did not eat there so I can not comment on the restaurant there. You get 15min free use of the computer and they have a machine you can put money in to charge ipods, phones etc in the lobby. Apples in bowls on every floor. I would stay again.

The location close to the tube station and the overall value was great; I wish they would have free internet - you only get 30 min in the lobby per day without charge.

A beautiful hotel situated in a nice quiet area close to the Underground. We were offered an upgrade to a very big and comfortable room however the standard room is also nice. Breakfast is expensive but worth it. Please avoid the 2nd floor which is smoking floor and unfortunately the smoke also went to one of our rooms the 3rd floor!

The hotel is fine, the rooms are good and not too expensive. Food at the hotel is very expensive, but there are restaurants close by. What really bothers me is how difficult it is to get to the lobby with a lot of luggage. It is a drama every time to get up the stairs and then down again. Don't count on the hotel staff to give you a hand. If you need something from the front desk, they are always very busy and battling chaos. But for the connivence of the location I might use them again (reluctantly).

If you fly via Heathrow the hotel is on the Piccadilly line so very convienient. You also have have access to other tube lines from Glouchester Road station. Walking distance to the museums, Harrods, Hyde Park, High Street Kensington among other places. Skip breakfast at the hotel and have it at the Cafe on the way to the tube. The give you a free croissont with every coffee/tea/hot chocolate before 11 in the morning.They also have full english breakfast for 5.95. Which you also can have at the Fish and street close by. The hotel room was very comfortable and service friendly!

Great location, but they really need to upgrade the rooms and get comfortable beds, the reception is bright and modern yet the rooms look very dated by at least 15 years! Staff are good.

Store fine rom, veldig god frokost, god service og behjelpelig personale. Hotellet ligger i kort gangavstand til t-banen, og grei gangavstand til Hyde Park og Oxford Street. Veldig hyggelig og rolig område selv om det er sentralt.

Um bom hotel, bem localizado, com café da manhã excelente. Próximo do Hyde Park, ao lado de uma estação do metrô, com bons restaurantes próximos. Boa relação de custo/benefício.

Pænt rent nyere hotel. Store værelser, som er en sjældenhed i London. God morgenmad og beliggenhed tæt på undergrunden. Kan på det varmeste anbefales.

Lo mejor la situación y amabilidad del personal. El resto muy descuidado, cortinas rotas, moquetas sucias y baños y decoración antiguos. Mejor desayunar en los alrededores por 5 o 6 libras.

Hotel muito bom, bonito, novo, pessoal muito educado. Cafe da manha típico inglês, muito variado e gostoso! A apenas uma quadra da estaçao do metro, onde vc pode ir pra todos lugares turísticos de Londres! Dá pra ir a pé pro Kingston Palace. Recomendo definitivamente! Só o preço é um pouco salgado..

今回、出張での利用であったが、空港からのアクセスも良く、仕事だけでなく観光にも便利であり、部屋も広く快適だった。サービスも申し分ない。朝食も美味しかったが、サラダが全く無いのだけは減点。基本的に満足だったので、機会があれば次回も是非利用したい。

Σε γενικές γραμμές ήταν πολύ καλό το ξενοδοχείο, τόσο οι χώροι των δωματίων όσο κι η εξυπηρέτηση στη reception. Μεγάλο μειονέκτημα το ότι στην τιμή δεν περιλαμβάνεται πρωινό. Οι κοινόχρηστοι χώροι της υποδοχής ήταν οι μόνοι στους οποίους κινηθήκαμε (με εξαίρεση τους διαδρόμους των δωματίων) και ήταν αρκετά καθαροί. Τέλος, υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να παρκάρει κανείς στους γύρω δρόμους με τη χρήση παρκόμετρου.
