Breakfast was great and the service at breakfast was very good. Refrigerator and coffee pot were plugged in by an extension cord and was not plugged in when we arrived. We had to climb under the desk to plug them in, not a very good situation.

The room smelled especially when I turned the air conditioner on. Some of the rooms were smoking so this added to the odor. The hotel was old and needs a makeover. The staff was friendly and the free breakfast buffet was really good.

CONS: Front door is manual open not automatic. Room climate control does not have degrees on the thermostat. PROS: The breakfast is hands down the best complimentary breakfast I have had. The hotel was clean and our room did not smell of smoke or strong air fresheners. Would stay again.

I was very comfortable in my room and felt very safe. My only complaint was the restuarant had closed for dinning service in October which I didn't know when I booked. I travel alone and was looking forward to being able to stay in the motel after dark. I went to the lounge with hope of at least some kind of snack food and again disappointed as they only served drinks.In Michigan it is required that a bar has to provide some type of food as for the convenience of getting to and from the motel was very easy. .

The toilet leaked bad, room 119. The bed wasnt comfortable.

I have been staying at this hotel since it was a holiday inn......I won't be staying there again. The cleanliness of the room was not good..gross food handprints on inside door...The breakfast is not what it use to be and they no longer have a restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful....but the quality of the hotel is getting worse everytime ...no more staying there for me.

I was staying at the hotel on business. My room was very clean and comfortable. They had a great breakfast buffet every morning. Couldn't beat this hotel for price, convenience, and comfort.

location was pretty close to out destination. motel and rooms were really clean. extremely happy we stayed here. breakfast was really good. will stay here again.

Have stayed here for years; used to be a Holiday Inn. Motel gets heavy use from power plant construction workers and is struggling hard to not be a dingy low class spot. They freshen it up ever so often but now Quality Inn is getting behind the curve. I may change to another one if they don't brighten it up.

Came to town for a class reunion in Mt. Pleasant. Used the room to change clothes before and after reunion. Decided not to sleep there and left. Would never go there again. Why was'nt the Hampton listed on Hotels.com?

The room was dirty--cobwebs on the lamp, ac/heater unit dirty, black spots in the bathroom sink. There was no hotel info, tourist info, or clock in the room. The cold water tap didn't work. BUT, the breakfast and service in the dining room was first-rate. Best part of the stay.

I could not find a good tempurature on the air conditioning unit. It was either way too cold but when I turned it down I woke up sweating. Had to be up and at a job location by 5:45 am and I was lucky if I slept 2 hours. The bed was as hard as a rock, I was not impressed at all. Will not stay again!

The hotel is a little bit run down, but perfectly clean. The hall smelled of cigarette smoke, but the room was fine with 2 double beds and a mini frig. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, a pleasant surprise! It had lots of hot items, eggs, pancakes, bacon, potatoes, and so on, well beyond the usual hotel continental breakfast.

We got the last room available because of the storm that had just passed through the area. We were glad to have found somewhere to sleep. The hotel staff was very nice. Our room was clean at first glance but needed a thorough cleaning. The restaurant had good food and was very convenient. The pool was great for the kids and clean for being outside. Thanks!

Brreakfast service was great,food was good. Those ladies work really hard to satisfy you 100%,Thank You.Pool area was clean,room felt a little small and could use a microwave.

The room and the other areas of the hotel were very clean. The outside areas and o.s. doors were just ok. Hotel amenities were great. A good location close to everything of interest.

I love that this place has a bar with a pool table, and a restaurant. The concierge and my server were very nice and helpful. I wish more affordable hotels were this nice.

Hotel is old and run down. Had a cold shower 2 mornings in a row. Complained to the front desk and was moved to a new room. Had hot water on the 3rd night. Good points are its close to town and breakfast buffet was good.

WONDERFUL FRIENDLY STAFF. VERY NICE HOTEL. WONDERFUL RESTAURANT.WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

The hotel was grossly understaffed so it took a long time to get anything attended to. The air conditioning wasn't working properly. The door to our room was not aligned properly so it wouldn't close from outside the room. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience.

Needed a facelift in the room..bathroom vanity too small, toilet loose, bathroom door closed with a loud, scraping door, upholstery on chair had bad stain on seat, beds were comfortable with nice bedding...overall room 513 was mediocre...however, the complimentary breakfast was very nice in the sit-down restaurant with courteous and friendly servers...the egg omelet was especially tasty!

I had a good experience at this hotel. It was family friendly. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast staff was especially friendly. My only problem with this hotel was that my non-smoking room occasionally reeked of cigarette smoke. It seemed mostly to be coming from the vent in the bathroom, although once it came right in the window. When we went outside to the pool we noticed an ashtray outside our window!!! As for the smell in the bathroom, I can't begin to imagine. So if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke, might not be the best choice!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The dining room was excellent. Food was well prepared and delicious. Staff all around courteous and friendly. Breakfast was great as well.
