Hotel was excellent at every level - very satisfied.

Stay was very nice. The shuttle was a big plus. The hotel is located very close to nice restaurants and shopping and the shuttle was used by our group quite a bit. Hotel staff was great. All personnel were friendly and knowledgeable.We would definitely stay there again.

Great place next to That's Amore, a wonderful Italian restaurant! Very friendly staff.

This hotel is very clean and I can't say enough good things about the service I received from the front desk. Really enjoyed my stay and will be returning.

The room was nice. The bathroom had french doors and really didn't close well. The walls are thin like any hotel and we listened to the couple above us fight all night. The hotel isn't really close to you can want somewhere to shop and eat. The staff was really nice and the hotel was clean.

The hotel was very nice. Beautiful room. My only complaint was they were knocking on the door to clean it 3hrs b4 checkout.

The room itself was good and the hotel was lovely, but we had way too much noise. Our room was surrounded on *three* sides by hallways. We didn't even have a window onto the outside. Our windows opened onto a hallway leading to an inside conference room where they had an event that started 9 am on Saturday! We were woken by crying babies, people talking and music. Only people involved with that event should have been given rooms that opened onto the event. And then the next morning we could hear people cleaning up that room: moving chairs and vacuuming! I'd probably consider staying at this hotel again if I could be guaranteed a room that opened to the outside and could find out what events were going on that weekend that might be noisy!

This hotel was terrible in every way. We found a bug in our bed, they moved us and gave complementary breakfast the next day. Breakfast buffet was terrible!!! The scrambled eggs were cold since they dont light up the warmer. This hotel is ugly and depressing, Do not recommend it in any way

We were very happy at this hotel even extended our stay, nice rooms and very clean. Free breakfast OK not great same meal everyday, would definitely stay here again, employees very pleasant and helpful.

The room and bathroom were very clean but not completely spotless (I'm picky). It was nicely decorated with comfortable beds and very quiet, no outside noise even in the hallways. The bathroom was big and had a nice tub shower with great water pressure. The staff was friendly and the restaurant had very good food.

We had a most wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza. Service was great, our room was great, had a fun time using the gym and pool. Will definitely stay again when in Maryland. The food was excellent!!

First the front desk would not give me the suite I had ordered on the web site. then After I gave her my printed copy - she said I it was Hotels.com fault. finally after she told me I should have checked with them by phone - she gave me my room. Ok so I had a suite - the AC unit sounded like a diesel truck each time it started and the bed had a dip.

Room was very appealing

Service was good, not great. No concierge, front desk clerks did not have enough info on local restaurants etc. There was a shuttle but they did not offer it when I asked about getting to restaurants or around town.

Good. But apparently hotel did not receive request to have both our 2 rooms close to each other. Check-in took a while to resolve this. Hotel recommends a call directly to the hotel in future if booking done thru a 3rd party such as hotel.com.

perfect stay for a few days business

the shuttle to the Metro was always late and the hotel always stated that they re busy and that is why they are late, Waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to come 3 miles - really? i do not think this is reasonable. Hotel staff does not seem to have a strong sense of urgency or basic service orientation.

The hotel was somewhat drab and the furnishings looked old. I was given an interior room that looked over their conference buffet area which was kind of odd. It was pretty loud as well when they were in there eating. The room was also on a hallway corner which had a window that looked straight into my room so I basically had to keep the drapes closed the whole time. Lowlights: When I checked in I was a couple of hours early but was told rooms were available. I was given a key to an occupied room. There was a privacy sign on the door and the TV was on. I needed toothpaste and the little store was very poorly stocked. There were plenty of Pringles and candy bars but hardly any personal care items. The final straw was breakfast in the morning. I had a late morning meeting so I got down to the buffet around 9. I could therefore accept the fact that they had let the buffet steam itself to death. However, there wasn't a soul in sight to help anyone arriving to eat. We were all wandering around looking for silverware and napkins until someone finally showed up. I decided to order off the menu because the buffet was digusting and the food that came out was just as bad. Just a bad experience all the way around.

I thought the hotel was lovely, but when I went to make coffee on my first morning, there were parts missing to the coffee machine. Annoyed, I went to take a shower and found a less than clean shower and no complimentary shampoo or conditioner. I also wish they had promoted their breakfast offerings; I didn’t notice until I had checked out! !

They need to fix the Ice machine and the desk people could be a bit more nice...The T-Bone and the restaurant crew were amazing. Nice beds. Need to de-pube the towels and sheets a little more. Good overall, and not too bad of a price.

With the many other hotels in the area, suggest you find one where the room does not have such a musty odor, where the bathroom does not have a lot of visible black mold/mildew, and where the little coffeepot in the room actually has all the parts necessary to make a cup of coffee! I expected a LOT more from the name Crowne Plaza!

Especially considering the low rate on this particular night, I was very pleased with the accommodations at the Crowne Plaza Rockville. The room service was prompt -- our meal at 8:30 p.m. arrived in about 10-15 minutes -- and the room was clean and very comfortable. The front desk personnel were capable, though the gentleman working in the morning seemed a little tense and slow-moving. Overall, the hotel lived up to its reputation as a high-quality place to stay.

out of 159 hotels in the last year i have stayed at, its the best. a five star hotel for a 3 star price. even better then most crown plazas. I'm not able to put into words how nice this place is.

It's my second time around and I love the whole vibe the hotel gives. The decoration and color are just perfect. It's a nice place to crash and impress your date.

Extremely clean, comfortable, beautiful room. Would definitely recommend hotel to others.
