Hotel Monaco Seattle, a Kimpton Hotel - سياتل

The rooms were comfortable with nice quality bedding and bathroom immenities. The wine tasting in the evening was a nice touch. Nice dining areas all around the hotel with some older high quality bars and surroundings. A short walk to Pike Place from the hotel and lots to see.

Charming hotel with great service.

Very convenient,opposite Seattle Library where internet is free for visitors,few minutes walk to big stores and Pike Market,wine and nibblies in early evening a nice touch,goldfish on each floors landing a quirky touch.

Very close to convention center and warf area. Very nice hotel. Firm clean beds. We would stay here again.

Heard we could request a coffee pot in our room so upon making reservations we requested one. We didn't get one until we asked again but we had to wait for it so I leave my wife in room with minor child while waiting in our room until after 10:30pm. and missing meeting with old friend. I at the same time am sitting in the outside seating area of the lounge with friend and am locked out of hotel and had to scale fence to get back to front entrance. Get to bed about 12:30 only to have the people in next room being too noisey to sleep. Separation curtains between rooms in suite wouldn't stay closed also. Asked for a telephone book- didn't have one in the whole hotel. 15 min. max on there internet or you pay 24.00 per hour. How do you find a place to eat, you don't , you eat where they want you to eat. Don't go is my advice

Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend it. Would be nice if they had a coffee maker in the room, but afterwards read that I could have requested to have one in the room. They do kindly offer coffee in the lobby early mornings, which was nice. Also offered iced coffee, complete with sugar syrup (thoughtful!) Had also read about having a fish in the room,which we didn't, but truthfully, I'd rather see them in a nice big tank than in the cramped little bowl. Suggest going across the street to the little french bakery that's connected to the Fairmont called the Bell Epicurean. Lovely croissants and caramel pecan buns!

In a city where double beds seem to be the norm, this hotel's suite was just right. King for mom and dad, pull-out sofa for daughter and roll away bed for son. It had plenty of room and two tv's. Asked for extra towels and pillows and was accommodated quickly. Location was great. Four blocks got us to the water in one direction and in the other the monorail to Seattle Center. We had our choice in the morning of a diner for breakfast on one side of the hotel or Starbucks on the other. You can even satisfy your pet needs with a fish. That's right. They will bring a a fishbowl to your room during your stay. Will look for more Kimpton hotels in the future.

My friends and I just stayed at Hotel Monaco for one night during our short visit to Seattle-we were sorry we couldn't stay longer! We had just come from a more upscale cruise. With this kind of service, we felt like we hadn't left the cruise! They were very pleasant and helpful while we were deciding on tourist attractions. And the decor really enhanced our stay! In addition to the cleanliness and comfort, it was cute, quirky and FUN! We even got a goldfish they named for our room! Our luggage didn't make it with us at the airport, and when it didn't arrive during the day as promised, the hotel staff was extremely thoughtful and gave us good advice. They were very attentive, taking care of our every need swiftly and professionally. I don't normally bother to write reviews for hotels, but I had SUCH a wonderful experience with this one, I just had to recommend it!

Hotel Monaco is a nice hotel ok on cleanliness and nice hotel staff. issues we experienced is the fish that was in the room died the first night and hotel maid staff left it in the room even though we left a note to have it removed. the hotel doesn't have any extras no free or reduced breakfast or meals, no morning paper and no coffee in the room. the bathroom was very small with the toliet in the way of everything. Parking was $43 a day with all the taxes also. overall we enjoyed the stay but would have liked have a few of those extras. even though we were in the middle of town the room had no view and the windows didn't open.

Another great Kimpton hotel! Lobby was nice, not quite as "different" as a regular Kimpton but still very nice and comfortable. Nice wine reception - very appreciated. Wine that was poured not very good however. Just saying! The room was great and fun. The staff was exceptional, helping us secure a wheelchair who had sprained an ankle. Also called around to drugstore to help us find crutches. Way beyond! That alone would encourage us to stay there again!

This is a great hotel. The rooms are spacious, and the location is wonderful. Only 5 blocks to shopping center and Pike Place. I would stay here over and over again. Only complaint is they don't tell you about the free coffee and wine reception. I missed both because I was not told.

The hotel location is perfect, staff is friendly, informative and helped coordinate all our dinner plans which ended up beign perfect! The hotel offers a Happy Hour each evening, weekends included and was a nice way to inwind from the day and gear up for a fun evening!

Convenient location, wonderful friendly staff, afternoon wine hour, free coffe in the morning, gift bag for my 2 yr-old, and television playing kid-friendly nature movie all day. Room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the walls are thin, we can hear people walk by, talking, watching TV in the next room over, which made it difficult for our toddler and us to sleep. Our floor had a quite a few rooms full of highschool kids on an end-of-year trip and they made a racket talking/laughing loudly in the hallway, slamming doors. My husband called down to the front desk to complain, which they said they would send someone up, and peeking through the peephole, the security guy didn't walk past our room, and the teenagers were all located to the back of the hallway. The noise went for what seems like forever until my husband opened the door and yelled at the teenagers. I understand that it was bad luck that our trip coincided with the school trip, but I wish the hotel had enough foresight to assign the teenagers rooms away from families with young children and business travellers. The online reservation system has fields for such information so they should make use of it and create a room assignment strategy. The teenagers should have gotten rooms closer to the elevator or a separate floor in order to minimize noise disruption for the other guests who actually need to sleep at night.

I planned a long weekend in Seattle because it was a city I had never visited before and I had heard a lot of positive things about the city. I was looking for a hotel in the heart of Seattle where I could walk to most everything and I wanted a nice place. The Hotel Monaco exceeded my expectations. The staff was very polite and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. I took the train from the airport to the hotel (the train station is one block away from the hotel). It is an easy walk to Pikes Market, shopping and the Museum of Art is one block away. The Space Needle is 1.2 miles away and I decided to walk there and I took the monorail back. The only negative is that you can not get free Wifi unless you join the Kimpton Hotel guest membership club, which means you must provide them your e-mail and now I am getting junk e-mail. However I would definitely recommend the Hotel Monaco.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel: the staff were friendly and helpful, the towels--big, soft and thirsty, the room spacious and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was never cleaned, needed to request from front desk. Housekeeping woke us up on the day of check out. Overall, hotel was short of my typical Kimpton experience -- very disappointing. Just stay across the street at the W.

We chose this hotel because of it's closeness to Safeco Field. Located in downtown Seattle, this hotel has a very fun, creative vibe to it. Bright colors, enthusiastic and friendly staff. Very nice. Definitely a cut above the rest! You need to use the hotel's valet parking (fee) or else find your own parking lot a few blocks away. The valet staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Well worth the cost. We will definitely stay there again.

the hotel was perfect for business. It was close to meetings and easy to get a cab to get to airport. Beautifuly accomodations.

I can truly recommend Hotel Monaco. We were welcomed nicely in a very nice and unique hotel atmosphere. We can surely recommend this hotel to everyone else.

Hotel staff was wonderful! Staff was friendly, cheerful and helpful. Restaurant (Sazerac) had good food and a good happy hour. Room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint we had was that the when we turned up the thermostat, the room did not warm up. Location was great. Easy to walk to most central attractions. The hotel offered wine hour from 5-6 which was a nice way to relax after sightseeing.

Love this place. Great everything including restaurant. Excellent service. Love Kimptons and this is a great one.

Everyone is extremely courteous (and not fake...big points) there! Beautiful place and certainly lived up to the five star rating. If you have a chance to stay there - DO IT. Great location and very helpful staff all around.

Service was top notch, location was great, and the room was adequately sized and appointed for the price and 4-star rating. The interior of the building and the room showed minor wear and tear, but nothing too distracting. Only real complaints were a cable-tv outage that lasted for several hours while we were trying to get news and watch coverage of situation in Japan (mid March); and the use of a sliding door to the bathroom, which had a tendency to rattle when the heater was running. Overall, though, I highly recommend this hotel.

I will definitely stay at Hotel Monaco again. Wonderful staff, fun decor, great location. Didn't bother renting a car and was able to get everywhere quickly on the bus/rail line or walking. Great value for the $$

This is a very nice hotel, but somewhat quirky. Watch out for the striped walls. They apparently come in different colors but ours were pinkish red and white, in wide stripes and felt like being in a circus. It was garish enough to make us feel uncomfortable. Just so you know, they'll bring you up a goldfish to keep you company, if you have the nerve to ask for it.

The location, attractive lobby, wine reception and friendly, helpful front desk staff were big pluses. Unfortunately, our room was a bit smaller than expected, and the view was of the ugly wall of another building with so little space between the two buildings that hardly any light got through. The room decor was more than a little tired. My husband, who is not usually so observant, noticed immediately that there were dust bunnies hanging from the wallpaper on the upper wall between the two windows. Better maintenance and a more enthusiastic doorman would improve the overall perception.

We spent 2 nights in Monte carlos suite for our wedding honeymoon and we really loved this hotel because the room was so clean and comfortable. The staff were very courteous and most helpful. It is a great place to stay.

Very comfortable, very relaxed. Clean, great service, friendly staff overall. I recommend this hotel for staying near the convention center.

This was a very comfortable hotel in a great location at a great price. We loved unique touch of the animal print bathrobes and the goldfish. The restaurant downstairs, Sazerac was exceptional. The parking attendants were great, courteous and fast. The parking was expensive with taxes and tips....but what does one expect being downtown in a big city? We will stay at the Monaco again the next time we visit Seattle.

Concierge and Vallet staff were fantastic. Front desk staff were lacking in customer service and the level of training you would expect from a hotel at this level. Room was very small however it was very clean and quiet. Comfort of the beds was great! Pillows, not so much. Had to ask for extra as they were about as thick as a bible. Restarant attached is ok, but lacking in menu selection. Do not make any calls from the room, a 38 second call cost $6.78 the most of any hotel in this star rating I have ever stayed at. Overnight parking rate is a tad on the pricey side, I believe it was around the $45-50 a night.

The hotel far exceeded all expectations! Staff was welcoming and friendly. Loved the wine tasting!

Had dinner at Sazerac and stayed in the Monte Carlo Suite for our anniversary. Restaurant service was great, suite had a lot of character. Very pleasant stay.
