Nice hotel, especially considering price x service. Breakfast including a variety of breads, cheese, ham and salami, fruit salad and good coffee. Internet available on the bedroom free of charge. Location close to Milan Train Station and Metro Station. Room is good and clean, bathroom and shower are small.

10 min walk from Central Station. 20 min walk to Duomo. 2 minute walk to metro stop (Repubblica). Located inbetween supermarket and small friendly bar - so very handy. Extremely polite and pleasant staff who were always happy to help. Good selection at breakfast buffet. I looked online at lots of hotels in Milan and for the price I really don't think you could find anywhere better than the Cervo.

Good location for those looking to stay close to the Centrale station but it is a bit of a walk from the metro station so beware if you're carrying luggage. The condition of the room and the musty smell in the corridors did not inspire much confidence in terms of hygiene standards, which is a disappointment considering that the hotel is hardly a bargain. The Wifi does not function in the room, only in the lobby. Breakfast buffet provides a fair number of options and cannot be faulted.

The rooms were not the most inviting, however the location was very good, the room was clean and the service was OK.

For the amount you pay, you can probably get a nicer hotel, but I think the location is not too bad.

I would NOT recommend this hotel! Our heater didn't work in December, there were cigarette burns all over our comforter, limited hot water, and tiny, dingy, smelly rooms. Breakfast was nothing special, croissants, yogurt, and juice. The location was decent, but still about 10-15 minutes by metro to the city center. No internet access unless you are on the 1st floor near the lobby and can pick up WiFi. I expected much nicer, but it was old and should have been much cheaper!

First the positives; - clean room. - quiet room (was not facing street). - good size bathroom; tiled with plenty of hot water. - friendly staff. - nice, complementary breakfast (not just contiental breads). - 5 minute walk to Republicca metro station, 10 minute walk to Centrale train station, 20 minutes to Il Duomo. Negatives; - tiny room (my single bedroom was the size of a large walk-in closet). - very poor lighting in the room (2 small light fixtures). - only 1 floppy pillow. - world's smallest elevator (big enough to hold 1 person with a roller suitcase, or 2 normal size people with no luggage). - TV (flat screen) rests on top of a mini-fridge. - no closet or dresser to put away clothes. - no in-room safe, no safe behind lobby desk. - poor security (the key is old-fashioned lock key with a large plastic fob to prevent people from leaving with the key in their pocket). Anyone can walk up to the lobby and ask for the key to any room number; no one ever asked me for my identification. - the room door needs to be locked with a key from either the inside or outside (just closing the door does not lock it). - maid service begins at 8:00 am...a bit early when one is trying to get some rest. - the entire hotel is a bit outdated...wall coverings, furniture...feels a bit musty. If it wasn't for the flat-panel TV I would think it was 1980.

nice clean hotel . ask for a front faceing room much nicer . breakfast is just pastry .pot of yogart . coffee . ideal location .when i was looking this was the nearest i could get at a good price ... 3 blocks up is the best pizza in milan tops all the polls we got 3 dishes shared them and house wine came to about 18 euros each full to the brim . all the locals eat there its called maruzzella next to mcdonnelds at porta venezia metro . i would stay here again and its a nice walk into the centre through the park 20 min stroll.....also 15 min walk from central station easy to find and a safe part of town

The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel itself could do with being updated, in some parts of the hotel, the wallpaper is being held up with sticky tape. The sheets were clean but the throw on the bed was stained. The room was dark and very small. They start cleaning the rooms very early and on one occassion we were asked to leave the room (at approx 10.30/11!!). Just a note, don't bother leaving the "Do not disturb" sign on the door as this will be ignored and they will enter anyway. Also the breakfast was very poor.

Desk staff friendly and helpful. Would have been walking distance from railroad station, even with luggage on wheels, if we had not missed the turn. Room very small; little room for anything but the bed. A bit dark and dingy and disappointing. OK if you don't plan to spend much time in your room. Breakfast room bright and cheery and buffet breakfast quite nice.

Hotel in very good location - walking distance to Central Railway Station (10-15 min.) and to the center of old town 15-20 min. Also public transport is reach and very near (2-5 min walk) - even 2 lines - bus and tram - are in front of the hotel. Hotel is very quiet, reception speaks perfect english and is very helpful. Two computers (Windows and Apple) are in reception hall free of charge with good internet connection. You do not need a car - public transport is very good and cheap (1 ride = 1 Euro).

Bed was great, bathroom was wonderfully updated, room itself was only lacking in decor (very tacky and outdated, but typical of European hotels). Breakfast was INCLUDED and DELICIOUS, very smart to fill up then and save $ for later. There is a lift, two computers available in the lounge, and a grocery store on the corner. Entrance to subway not far off-- two blocks. Friendly staff. Would totally call it a 'deal' for those who are looking for decent accommodations in Milan.

Loved the big clean room. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Free wifi in the lobby. Breakfast was good. Tiny showers. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but if you are not afraid of the subway/ metro that is not a problem. The price is right and I would stay there again.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and knowledgable. The room was very small and had an odor of mildew. Especially after showering. The maid staff would clean daily but always forget to leave either towels or cups. I think they may have even reused my towels sometimes. Breakfast was nice. More than I expected. I thoguht just continental. But they also had eggs and what appeared to be hotdogs. There is a market right next door so that was cool.

I was a little reluctant to stay at Cervo based on a couple of comments from 2009 about it being a 2-star hotel instead of a 3-star. However, I LOVED Cervo as a single traveling female who values a clean, convenient and safe hotel. It was so easy getting to and from the Repulica subway station and much easier than I thought based on a couple of customer reviews. The hotel staff were all fabulous and the breakfast decent for me as a vegetarian. The maid on my 3rd floor was nice enough to find a vase for my rose that I had put in a glass. The taxi the hotel desk rep called for my trip to Centrale was there in less than five minutes. Very important for me as a frugal solo female traveler was the 7 Euro bus ride to Malpensa airport from the Centrale station. There is a Sicilian pastry shop two doors from Cervo that is fabulous and a grocery store also next door. In walking to the subway station I passed by a pizzaria that always had a line of people waiting to get in. My next trip to Cervo I plan to check out that popular spot. Thanks to Cervo for a great reasonably priced hotel that is in a perfect location. A friend stayed at the ATA Milan hotel and she wasn't happy with the remote location. I told her next time she should stay at Cervo! Carrie from Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Fairly small, basic room. But its clean and cheap so you can't complain.

Hotellissa oli käynnissä mittava remontti. Syytäkin on, sillä huone oli aivan kamala; pikkuinen koppero, missä oli kokolattiamatto a ei ollenkaan äänieristystä! Joka sana naapurista kuului ja vessasta...Respan henkilökunta oli ystävällisiä ja supermarketti vieressä plussaa. Mutta seuraavan kerran valitsen hotellin lähempää keskustaa tai metro/ratikka/busslyhteyden läheltä.

Non lontano da corso Como, via Solferino e corso Garibaldi, a due passi dalla stazione della metro Repubblica, l'hotel Cervo è in una posizione molto comoda per visitare la città. Attenzione alle camere, perché ce ne sono alcune anguste e buie che avrebbero anche bisogno di una rinfrescata. Quando sono arrivato, mi è stata assegnata un'incredibile singola al primo piano con affaccio su una tromba delle scale interna, così sono andato alla reception per chiederne un'altra. Mi è stata data una camera più confortevole con affaccio su un cortile interno. Decisamente migliore, ma sempre troppo buia per i miei gusti (e nel bagno non c'era il bidé). Ci ho dormito la prima notte e la mattina dopo ho chiesto se ce ne fosse un'altra ancor più luminosa. Finalmente me ne hanno data una soddisfacente al terzo piano con affaccio sulla strada. Personale professionale, cortese e comprensivo. Colazione continentale ottima e abbondante.

bon acceuil, hotel très propre, communs joliment refaits à neuf. lits confortables,salle de bain complète, petits déjeuners délicieux et variés. Personnels très bien souriants agréables. Petit bémol la clim de la chambre inéficace. Je donnerais 2 étoiles et demie et non pas 3 à cause de la clim , la chambre et salle de bain à rafraichir

Bonne impression. Bien placé tout près du centre de Milan. Service correct. Chambre extrèmement petite même pour une personne seule.

Yövyimme vain yhden yön hotellissa. Palvelua sai hyvin englanniksi, huone oli ok: hieman vanha ja nuhjuinen, mutta siisti. Aamiainen maittava&runsas, myös ruokakauppa aivan vieressä! Lyhyt matka kävellä rautatieasemalta ja keskustaan kävellessä paljon ravintoloita matkan varrella, eli aika passeli sijainti ainakin näin lyhyelle vierailulle.

Die hohen Preise während der Möbelmesse werden durch Lage und Freundlichkeit (fast) wettgemacht.

Prisvärt hotell 150 meter från Metro stationen Republica. Granne med trevlig sport PUB.

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal, überraschend reichhaltiges "kontinentales" Frühstück, zu Fuß bzw. mit öffentl. Verkehrsmitteln ist man rasch beim Dom, beim Riesenflohmarkt oder im Künstlerviertel, Zentral-, Nord- und Garibaldibahnhof, von dort bequem zum Flughafen Malpensa

Helt okej hotell men vi trodde att det var närmare till allt. Finns en metrostation nära men när vi var där så var metron nere. frukosten var okej.

早餐种类丰富，面包松软可口，多种酱料选择，炒鸡蛋火候恰到好处，咖啡令人回味。前台服务热情周到，信息量丰富。房间空间合理，墙纸稍嫌繁复。洗浴间相当巨大，设施完备，清洁度满意。唯一不足是房间清洁人员将我们带去的一些塑料袋及橡皮筋扔掉了，造成了一定的麻烦。

Fint hotel med god beliggenhed ikke langt fra den historiske bydel. Ok fin standard og rent mv. God morgenmad og venligt personale. Alt i alt et rigtigt godt valg til pengene.

Hotel Cervo er et lille hyggeligt hotel med en nærmest familiær atmosfære. Cervo har en meget central beliggenhed i forhold til togstation, metro og centrum. Værelserne er relative små men udemærkede i forhold til prisen. Rengøringsstandarden er meget fin. Morgenmaden, som er inkluderet i prisen, er næsten af "continental" klasse. Her bør alle kunne blive mætte. Vi vil gerne medgive Hotel Cervo vores bedste anbefaling, og vi kommer gerne igen næste gang vi skal på byferie i Milano.

Hôtel très agréable, très calme, rénové avec goût. Personnel d'une extrême amabilité. Les chambres, de vraies petites bonbonnières (murs tendus de tissu avec dessus de lit et double-rideaux assortis) sont très propres. Petit-déjeuner correct (excellents café et cappuccino). Seul bémol pour l'instant : il n'y a que le métro situé à environ 400 m pour rejoindre le centre ville. Quand tous les énormes travaux de construction pour l'Exposition universelle seront terminés le tram passera à quelques pas de l'hôtel. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel qui est un bon 3 étoiles.

Le personnel est aimable et serviable, mais les chambres sont vraiment minuscules et certaines avec seulement vue sur un escalier intérieur ! Le petit déjeuner est basique.

Das Hotel liegt sehr praktisch zwischen Zentrum, Bahnhof und Corso Como. Leider gibt es keine Garage, Parken in der Nähe ist möglich aber bei der italienischen Parkweise etwas abenteuerlich. Unser Zimmer war etwas alt-backen und das bad nicht unbedingt ein Traum: die (Falt-)Tür liess sich nicht schließen und die Dusche...naja. Leider gibt es keine Raucherzimmer und Balkone haben auch nur einige Zimmer. Das Frühstück war dagegen wirklich in Ordnung. Der Peis ist angemessen, das Personal freundlich.

安い。その一言につきます。隣にスーパー、銀行があるのは魅力。WIFIは少し繋がりにくいです。 あと、場所も駅から近いのですが、石畳のせいか思ったよりも遠く感じます。 部屋もきれいとはいえません。しかし値段を考えればお勧めです。

Mycket trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Kunniga på sin stad. Ok och ganska typisk hotellfrukost utan krusiduller och mkt socker. Rummen kändes trånga och gamla men rena och skönt svala. Bra tryck i duschen och fräsch toalett. Gångavstånd till allt!
