Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Exceeded our expectations. Only negative was the strong chlorine odor from the pool when you first walk in the lobby. Overall, a very nice, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay. I would definitely recommend to others.

My family enjoyed our overnight visit. The clerk was knowledgable or our surroundings. Check in was fast. The room, kitchen, and pool clean.

We had a pleasant stay that started earlier than planned. The staff at the hotel was able to get us checked in almost 2 hours early and allowed my grandson to play in the pool until our room was ready.

I like to thank the staff Fairfiled Inn. For maaking my stay there very enjoyable. Very in clean rooms close to Walffle house.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The hotel is very clean and works out well for us when we stay in this area. It's conveniently located right off of Interstate 85. Just a note....be sure to check your credit card or bank statement after your stay. We prepaid for our room using Hotels.com. When we arrived to check in, they didn't seem to have that information and had to ask us if we had already paid. Regardless, they have you leave a credit card on file for incidentals. Bet you can't guess what happened......arrived home and checked our statement and was charged for the room a second time by Fairfield Inn. Did call and asked to speak with someone about my bill. They pulled up my account and we able to recognize before I mentioned it that I had been charged twice. Gave them my card info and they said they would credit it back to my account. Was a little disappointed and that is the first time we have ever had that happen when we have pre-paid. I normally don't like to pre-pay but you have to if you want the better rate. At least they were able to identify their mistake and correct it rather quickly. Just wanted to give the heads-up to other guests.

This hotel was very nice, located in a nice area with many amenities, incluidng a Mall and Restaurants close by. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the Charllotte - Gastonia area.

I choose the Fairfiled Inn because I stayed at a Fairfiled Inn in another state. I alsos remember that the complimnetary breakfast was good. However, the mattress was too soft and lumpy. Our stay was quick - less than 12 hours. My daughter has a dance competition and had to be onsite by 7:00am. So we arrived the night before by 8:15. We checked in and left to get something to eat. There was a coffee cup from the previous guest in the window seal. Please check all areas to ensure that they are clean. Should of have stayed at the Hampton Inn.

Overall, a great stay. Next to the mall and lots of restaurants. The rooms and bathroom were, well, cozy, but the staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was nice as well. Great hotel for the price.

From the time we walked in until we left, we were very pleased with this hotel. It was very clean and when we had a problem with the sink leaking, we told the front desk and it was fixed within a short period of time. The front desk Employees were very nice. Access to any store you need to go to,was close by. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

Staff claimed we had to take the handicap room because our reservation was made a day befor when it was made a week prior! Hotel was very noisy with people slamming doors until 1:00 AM then again at 5:00 AM.

The hotel was very nice. One thing that I noticed, though, was the strong smell of chlorine from the indoor pool that greeted me as soon as I entered the hotel. The smell permeated the lobby and check-in area.

The staff was very friendly, hotel was very clean and convenient to eateries. We really enjoyed our stay.

The bathroom and dressing areas were very small - hardly enough room for toiletries on the counter. We had the room next to the elevator, so don't know if that is the reason the room and bathroom were so small or if all the rooms were like that. Clean and comfortable, though. If I stay there again I'll ask for a room away from the elevator, and maybe it will be larger.

When I turned on my water in the bathroom, ,air came out and when the water started coming out it looked gray. Not sure what was going on there.

Excellent accommodations and service. Everyone that we spoke to was very friendly and pleasant. We had the pool and the large hot tub to ourselves during three visits in two days. Free continental breakfast exceeded our expectations by a mile, they even fixed fresh waffles for my son. When plans changed and we went back for a second night in a row, they gave us back our same room! We would highly recommend this hotel and stay there again, anytime!

Discovered at check in that the hotel couldn't be sure we would get the Marriott rewards credit for that stay because we booked through hotels.com. Perhaps this is common, but the first time we ran into this.

Bathrooms were small, rooms were nice, and beds were very comfortable. We would stay there again.

neat and clean hotel with nice amenities laundry room came in handy and the breakfast the following morning provided a great start to the traveling day
